Avantages

After spending far too long trying to run a series of NOC screens in our technical department using computers, web browsers, extensions, hacky scripts... we were reccomended Yodeck by a partner. It looked great, and the pricing was really reasonable, so we went for it.

I wish we'd tried it earlier - I had the old solution completely replaced, with a much easier, more visually appealing, and more reliable solution within an afternoon. It was so easy to build, it could be done by just about anyone. Plenty of apps and integrations to suit all your needs.

I have no idea what Yodeck's customer support is like - we havn't needed it, but if it is anything like the documentation, it will be excellent.

If you're reading this, I assume you're interested in yodeck. Stop reading, go try it.

No major issues - waiting for the devices to ship to us felt like a long time, but in reality they were shipped quickly by Yodeck and only held up by our mail service.

The user interface is very easy to work with, compared to other programs I've used. Very happy with the reliability of the product and service. Yodeck allows me to provide a very professional looking digital displays throughout my business

The initial order and receiving of the Yodeck players took a little longer than expected, but honestly it's worth the wait to get a good quality product.

Yodeck is intuitive and easy to pick up. The best part is the vast amount of information in their knowledgebase and help pages, you rarely see this unless you are a paying customer, but they give you all the features for one screen use.

It does exactly what we were hoping it would do. We can manage and edit our e-signage media & playlists from a single location without having to visit all of our centers across town.

The only thing I had trouble getting used to is that their support seems to be based overseas in Europe, so it's a bit of a chore to remember to ask any questions early so that we can get an answer the same day. They do however, make themselves available during our business hours when arranging appoints - which helps a lot.

It's great to have a tool that makes it possible to manage all of our kiosks/screens throughout all of our locations. There's a bit of a learning curve but that's worth it for what you get in return.

The best thing about Yodeck should be its very basic features and very user friendly interface. Helps with small team to large team, adapts to any project.

Customisation is the biggest con, as I would say, some templates are good to have but cannot be able to amend them is sometimes trouble, as you need to adapt the layout, it should be the other way around.

In the spirit of a fair review, it's worth considering any drawbacks of the Yodeck digital signage platform. However, in the two years since its installation at Andrew Johnson Golf Club, the system has operated flawlessly, with no notable issues to report. The one instance where we required assistance, the hiccup was swiftly and efficiently resolved by their responsive support staff. While some may yearn for a con to weigh against the many pros, our experience has been so positive that finding fault seems more like searching for a needle in a well-kept fairway. Yodeck has proven to be a reliable and robust solution for our digital communication needs.

The only downside I've found so far is that the emergency messages lock the tv up and nothing else displays. If it could be just another layout or automatically scroll along the bottom of the screen that would be great.

I tried it because in my institute it was necessary to solve the problem of making information and content accessible to our students.
After a few minutes I was already able to project the contents, after a day I had already created my playlist, now after a month, the testing has finished and I consider this system adequate for our needs. We will be purchasing for use shortly.

I love the simplicity of the publishing dashboard. You can literally work the user dashboard from concept to publishing within a couple of minutes in so many cases. I also love that updates can be done from my phone to prepare welcomes for arriving board members, surprise parties for employees who are celebrating high-year milestone service anniversaries, and even put up QR codes for pulse surveys that we need our employees to engage with immediately. Yodeck alsoo allows us to prioritize messages. It also allows us to toggle with how long we want a piece of content to appear on screen compared to another piece which can enable our employees with as much time as they need to receive the message. Multi-Location feature gives a level of detail that I didn’t even know I needed until it was presented to me. Some locations within our footprint don’t need to see certain messages, and this functionality allows us to skip publishing to their location’s device. Being able to customize what content you want to appear on screen is one thing, but the option to run a news banner, weather forecast, and the local time in the corner is icing on the cake. It makes for a dynamic experience, drawing eyes to the screen and creating an interesting and refreshing experience for our employees every time. Finally, sheduling is extremely helpful for initiatives, events and activities that are bound by a window of time, and also convenient for me because I don’t have to physically go back into Yodeck and remove the content myself. It helps ensure messages to our employees don’t get stale.

Doesn’t include integrations into Microsoft 365 that we want our seamless employees to see or have access to. Also, does not use locations to auto-translate messages.

Easy set up and support on rpi. User guides are easy to follow and even people with limited knowledge can be up and running in a matter of minutes. Very nice and easy to navigate user interface.

the setup of the players was super easy. A rep from Yodeck called me even before I got the players and then helped get to me even faster. But what is best is how easy the software is to use. The last provider we had was with MoodMedia and the interface was built of these frames that if you accidentally moved something, the whole screen changed and you had to figure out where your stuff went.

I think I chose the right product, it was MoodMedia, Harmony was the control suite. Cost, downtime and poor user interface. The MoodMedia software was just silly and overly complex for the basic need we have of essentially running a slideshow.
