ECP Rocks!

Avantages

It is very user friendly and one time I had to call IT for an issue, it was a very quick and easy fix.

Inconvénients

Nothing. I don't think there are any down points.

Efficient Medication Administration

Avantages

The product is very easy to use for all which is critical when teaching others who are uncomfortable administering medications and using computers.

Inconvénients

We have only been using a short time and I have not yet found any aspects that we did not like or navigate easily through. We are just users though so the basic medication administration is so easy to use.

Love ECP

Anytime I contact ECP for assistance they are always willing to help in whatever way possible. Everyone has been very cordial.

Avantages

I love the ease of use. Orders enter the system, you click, review and save. Its that simple. Passing meds is set up by time.

Inconvénients

Can't really think of anything that I like the least

Great Customer Service

Love being able to monitor remotely. Being able to have the information at your fingertips and be able to run reports is great.

ECP Review

I am pleased with the current features and hoping for future improvement. I value constantly innovation and improvement.

Avantages

I've been using the ECP for little over a year. The system has greatly help centralize our medication management and ADLs. More importantly, it builds care plans with ease and translate easily into TAR and MAR that can be printed out for staff. Good value for the money.

Inconvénients

There are things that can be improved but overall there is a willingness to hear feedback and make improvements. The speed of translating feedback into improvement can be improved so that valuable insight from users can easily be converted into ECP improved functionality.

Ease of Use

Very easy to use and easy to customize.

Avantages

Medication passing is the most important aspect.

Inconvénients

If is resident is out of the facility during a med pass but return within that time frame we must go back and check them in prior to when that med pass time frame started. Can be confusing to staff as it’ll appear as if that resident has no meds to take.

Excellent Product

Coming from a different program, I am so thrilled to have such easy access as well as so much important information at hand.

Avantages

It is important for staff to be able to see the medication, what it is used for and the side affects. It is all in one place.

Inconvénients

So far I haven't come across anything that is not up to my standards.

Cost effective easy to use software

A cost effective and easy to use software. Our CNA staff love how easy it is to do their documenting. The Recent Notes feature is awesome for good communication.

How easy it is to use and the video' s for training staff.

ECP is a functional tool for recordkeeping

Avantages

I use the software to enter new residents to our home. My process of entering a new resident is easy to follow and make changes if entered incorrectly. Printing from the program is also easy. All the tabs are quick to use for entering different information.

Great Customer Service!

Avantages

Whenever I have a question about the software, customer representatives are very helpful and address my issue in a timely fashion.

Inconvénients

The facility we work with sends refill requests through ECP and we don't always receive the notifications.

ECP Review

Eliminating paper costs is one thing. Saving all this information electronically has been a big step forward for my company.

The software is very easy to use. When we implemented it was an easy transition and ECP folks were very helpful and patient with new users

The training video's are nice but it's helpful for the ones that I can print out for staff. I made a procedure book so staff is able to go step by step to learn the software

Satisfactory could improve by using voice charting

I like the convenience of being able to go back and look at history retrace steps if needed

THE WAY ITS SET UP. BUT IF YOU CREATED SOFTWARE THAT DID VIOCE CHARTING WOULD BE AMAZING AND HELPFUL. FOR THOSE THAT HAVE DIFFICULTIES TYPING.

I mentioned creating voice charting would be so much easier for those that type really slow.

Good. Is visual and easy to navigate. Has redundant parts , but overall is impressive.

Is visually appealing I like the tab set ups.

There is not enough cross over from chart to report data. I should be able to chart weights together any pull that report

Implementation was poorly done. Too much information at once.

A Spectacular Product that Meets Multiple Needs

As an owner / administrator of four communities and as a consultant to new and current small AL providers, I highly recommend ECP without reservation.

Avantages

ECP allows us flexibility through customization options. It is simple to learn as an Administrator of the whole program or as a new caregiver learning electronic documentation for the first time. Easy to retrieve information - which proved itself invaluable during a state survey. Local physicians and EMS personnel comment about our professionalism in presenting data to them - which is also very simple to produce quickly. The ECP developers really listen to end users and have implemented the ideas offered to them and are constantly improving and growing the capabilities. We have reduced med errors and med follow up problems and have been able to attain compliance with documentation issues and can give direct care staff clear, concise directives right in front of them. I can easily retrieve data whenever and wherever I may be which keeps everyone on their toes! It's very cost effective.

Inconvénients

Any "con" I ever experienced was addressed and resolved with "live" people helping me through!

Tech support

It's been good. I submitted a tech support question and the woman that called me back was so very sweet and they responded within a few minutes.

Avantages

I thought as an employee this switch to this software would be difficult but it has not been.

I have not found anything I dont like so far.

Easy to learn, intuitively designed and is very customize-able.

Avantages

I like how easy it is for new staff to learn because of how intuitive the display is. I also like how good customer support is at getting back with a solution or in creating new features that are being asked for. The software integrates wonderfully with the pharmacy that our community uses. Needed information and data is easy to access with all of the options for creating reports. The pictures of residents on the screen is great and the optional use of letters/colored borders to signify different things about the resident is a great way to see a lot at first glance. Consequently the ability to quickly put the screen into or out of a discreet mode is great as well.

Web-based is great but when the network goes down it is challenging as we rely on ECP a lot.

Director of Operations

Overall, I am very happy with ECP. There are things that I'd like to see different but everyone probably has their own ideas of how things should be in a program. In general though, when an idea is brought forward, ECP does a good job of implementing when it is small. Larger projects take more time but this could be lack of available team members to implement new parts of the program. I would and do recommend ECP when others ask what we use as a program.

Avantages

Always looking for better ideas and features. Like that it is always improving.

Inconvénients

Report features are not very user friendly. Would like to see more ability to create own reports from system.

Made life easier

Overall I am very pleased with ECP I would recommend it to other companies.

Avantages

Very easy to use, made many job duties quicker, freed up staff time so they can spend more time with the residents, easier to reorder meds, easier to track resident vitals

Inconvénients

Care plan is a little tough to transition to, had some minor issues with linking to the pharmacy, still waiting on the employee schedule section of ecp to be up and running

Review

HIghly recommend for any asssited living facility. Allows administators to monitor what is happening in their facilities at any level, from documentation, ISP's to medication administration and narcotic counts.

Avantages

Easy to use and understand. Decrease in staff charting time. Increased accountability for staff performing tasks and med administration.

Inconvénients

Would like to be able to print all POS with one funtion.
