Easy to use

Avantages

Everything you need is there, creating and managing customers informations is better than Hubspot

Inconvénients

There's is no platform wide search engine and customer notes are a bit of hassle to modify.

Awesome CRM

I've been using Nutshell for almost a year. I have experience with other CRMs ( I will not mention names), but this one is easier to search and track the metrics.

Avantages

Easy to search, to use and how you can organize your clients/cases.

Inconvénients

I like everything. I don't have any negative reviews so far.

A value for money product but be warned it is very buggy!

Generally speaking, the software is easy to use and also easy to setup however it is frustrating that there are bugs in some of the basic software components

Avantages

Nutshell is a cost-effective product. Most other similar products are a lot more expensive. One of the unique things about Nutshell is its custom email templates which engage placeholder settings. This means you can customise an email template but include elements or placeholders that need to be customised on a per-email basis so the software will not let you send the email unless the placeholder is attended to.

Inconvénients

Sadly Nutshell is very buggy and the CS and developer teams seem completely uninterested in resolving my complaints about the software. These are basic features mainly within the templating software which I have told Nutshell about countless times, yet they seem uninterested in resolving them. Sadly the bugs can make for a frustrating experience on some occasions. What is even more annoying is that they continue to turn out useless features that are half-baked rather than spending some time fixing the issues at the centre of their core product.

Recommending Nutshell

I use Nutshell all the time and recommend it for marketing teams

I use it on an ongoing basis to send out customer marketing communications, and rely on it to deliver good-locking emails that drive traffic and engagement.

Avantages

Very easy to use to send out bulk emails in a creative way, with an eye toward data-driven results and tracking.

Inconvénients

It can do quite a bit (a good thing!) so there is a learning curve when it comes to using it the first few times.

Long Time User

Excellent. They are reachable, option to suggestion, and over the 4 years I have used it they have added many of the features I have asked for; as I'm sure I wasn't the only one requesting them. This demonstrates a company that listens to it's users.

Avantages

I was tasked with finding a CRM and did extensive research. I chose Nutshell and have never looked back. This CRM is super user friendly and easy to train sales people who are usually up and running within 30 minutes. This is NOT Salesforce - no degree required to use it! lolI love Nutshell so much, that I recommend it to my other customers who retain me to manage their marketing. I have over 6 customers using Nutshell and they are all happy with the product!

Inconvénients

There are a few features I would like to see added... when "starring" the main contact within the company filed- that information should bleed through to the lead, or at least have the same option available within the lead. That same "starred" contact should move to the 1st place in the contact list.

Nutshell has been a gamechanger!

Avantages

We absolutely love being able to have an all in one place customer and production tracker. From the time a prospect writes in, through years after they have purchased and Installed their building we have everything at our fingertips.

Inconvénients

We just wish that emails still went into the customer's leads, and tasks could be auto assigned after it is "won" the project isn't done..

One of the best CRM platforms! User friendly and very engaging for our agency!

Overall I am extremely please with Nutshell! I like how the platform is laid out. The tools used to help are incredible and the agents that work for Nutshell are easily available to chat with 24/7. They have prompt response time and can almost always solve the issue!

Simple to Use for those who have not used CRM's before

This is used to track our quotes and hase been helpful on stopping quotes from slipping through the cracks.

Avantages

This was an easy to implement software for those who have never used a CRM in the past. User friendly for basic functionality.

Inconvénients

I would like to see more ability to keep lead information separated. There are many leads that have the same companies and people but are not relevant to one another, and unfortunately it all gets lumped together.

Cannot imagine a better or more cost effective product for our needs

NS is critical to our a) Sales management, b) Project management, c) Marketing. We have not tried competitive software, but it's hard to imagine a package better suited to our needs.

Avantages

1) Email marketing capabilities added in the past couple of year have been a game changer for us. 2) Ability to track leads as they turn into projects and are completed - NS is the one tool we use for this, daily. 3) Contact import, export, and bulk editing.

Inconvénients

Copying emails into Nutshell and assuring they are attached to the correct Lead, and only to the correct Lead, is a pain in the neck. Having to insert "Lead-xxxx" into the subject line is the issue. We do not want our clients to see the word "Lead".

My Opinion of Nutshell

Avantages

I really enjoyed its price to feature ratio, and the unique customization options available due to how they built the product

Inconvénients

a few nitpicks, but nothing major. Unfortunately my team never really got into using the tool so we are in the processing of switching to one that is more geared to our specific business.

Nutshell Review from Silent 6

Overall I really like everything except for the inability to track tasks by priority. I also think customer support is a bit lacking after hours and it would be nice if you had some extended hours to be able to live chat with someone in support.

Tasks can only be prioritized by date so I have begun using another solution to track our tasks and am looking for an all in one solution. Tracking tasks by date is important, but more important to us is the ability to task by priority: Urgent, High, Medium, Low. I need to quickly see every day what tasks are most important and start working on them and many do not need a date. I have recommended Nutshell to another business we partner with and they are also looking for another solution because this feature is lacking.

Awesome CRM for our team!

Overall we've been satisfied with Nutshell for years now, it works great for our team and anytime updates and changes are announced they are always even better. The support team really makes a difference too!

Avantages

Integration and onboarding were easy and quick, so many great features for our sales and marketing teams, task setting and email integration are great!

Inconvénients

We really don't have negative feedback for Nutshell, there are some features we don't use but not because they are difficult to use, just not necessary for our business.

The ease of use

It's super easy to use. Anytime I get calls in the service area, I'm able to check status by notes in Nutshell.

I don't have anything I least liked about Nutshell. Nutshell provides everything that I need.

I used to sell CRM and Nutshell is a fantastic value with great features

Our team is extremely happy with Nutshell. I sold CRM for 6 years before coming to this company and right before using Nutshell. I have been pleasantly surprised by the platform. I have used Sales Force and many other CRMS that can be overkill in features and size for a small team. We are 60 employee company with only a handful of users in Nutshell. For a small team, this tool has been perfect for us.

Avantages

I love the ease of use. Intuitive UI. They launch new features and improve existing ones.

Inconvénients

It has been really difficult to manage duplicates. Lots of dups are created instead of updated. Dups are also suggested when they are no where close to being the same.

Streamlined Success

We all love the fact that we can add notes and tasks for each other when something needs to be done. I can go in and see my boss's tasks and make sure there is nothing he needs from me. I can see my staff tasks and see if they are on target or need more or less.

Avantages

Integrating Nutshell into our business was pretty easy. My favorite option in nutshell is how customizable it is. My second favorite is the support team. Always there to help and offer suggestions.

Inconvénients

I need a duplicate button. When creating a calendar event /task for a specific lead or contact, there should be a way of entering a default address. Or duplicating an event or lead would really cut down on data entry.

Finding the impossible

I searched and spent a lot of time looking for the best crm to suit what we needed. Realising along the way that no crm software would ever suit what your specific needs are. That said Nutshell fulfills 95%of what we need as we adapted our processes to suit. Having spent only 2 days learning and implementing g the crm it was fully usable and powerful meeting our needs.

Avantages

Easy to get to grips with and implement. Not over complicated and very flexible to adapt to your way of working.Customer support very responsive.Being able to design multiple pipelines is brilliant.

Inconvénients

Web analytics could be more detailed but need to explore more.

Nutshell Review

I have had nothing but good experiences with Nutshell since I began using it a couple months ago. I found the features to be super helpful. It is an amazing tool to stay organized.

Avantages

I like how simplified the system is to use, it makes searching for leads so much easier.

Inconvénients

I wish it had a call experience. An ability to track calls instead of having to constantly fill it out and add it in.

Nutshell is the Easiest to Use, Most Affordable and Robust CRM & Marketing Complete Package!

The 3 things that I use Nutshell for the most: Email Marketing Broadcasts for fancy marketing and a large number of emails, Email Templates with Open & Read Verification to send about 50 emails at a time, and those few emails per day that I need to make sure I know if they were read so that I don't wonder. It makes it so much easier to follow up knowing that they have received the information.

Avantages

Nutshell has many if not more of the same features than a lot of competitive products for less than half the cost and it is like a family or a department within the company that I work for feel when working with anyone on the Nutshell team. The CRM, Email Marketing, and Email Open and Read Verification are AWESOME!!!

Inconvénients

Some of the features were either not available or were not as robust when I started using Nutshell in 2021.

I don't have many issues with Nutshell. Just the notes listed above about generating leads in the leads section and the constant duplicate question for contacts not even close. I do enjoy the drip campaign feature and if someone views my email or clicks an attached link

Leads section is extremely cumbersome generating leads. Also almost every contact I input it is constantly asking if that contact is a duplicate even though it is nowhere close

Nutshell for Small Business

Having worked through other CRM's, Nutshell gives us exaclty what we need as a small tech company. I have no complaints.

Avantages

Affordability for what we need as a company, Nutshell offers a lot of tools that you need without having to shell out a ton of money like with competitors.

Inconvénients

Some functionalities while operable can use some work. Engagement tracking is huge for me and at times it can be difficult to find out who did what without going into their profile to find that information.

Avantages

easy to use mostly. Alot of reports that can be made to individual specifications.

Inconvénients

Some areas it is too comber sum. The end time doesn't always change when start time is made on scheduling. When you save a document, you can't save it in Nutshell, you have to upload it into it.

Great Customer Management

Been really good, and any tech issues are handled quickly by support team.

I love how this pulls from Quick Books via import to add new customers I invoice, and then brings in all emails from them prior and new.

Inconvénients

I occasionally get duplicate contacts but I think that is my fault.

Life-saver

Avantages

It helps me keep everything organized and the visual pipeline is gold. Very user-friendly for someone like myself who doesn’t normally need this kind of software.

Inconvénients

Some of the features I really needed are not available at the cost I’m ready to pay, while I have features I don’t use. But that happens when you need something for a very specific purpose and I’m not the traditional client.

Great CRM tool

Simple to use, easy to navigate, effective

Avantages

Our company lives in Nutshell daily. We do majority of our reporting from this platform and it is very simple to use and onboard new employees. These are the most common tools that we are using it for. Pipeline management, activity reporting, bookings/sales tracking, trip planning/mapping, scheduling follow-ups, and email campaigns. Once we realized all the capabilities it had to offer, it became the staple of our business.

Inconvénients

I wish that we could incorporate it with some of the other tools that we use. We recently started using a platform called "Sales OS" and it allows you to connect your CRM to it but Nutshell isn't a compatible option.

Happy with product

Happy with overall experience. Would definitely recommend as it saves a lot of time and generates a positive ROI.

Avantages

Relatively easy to use and automated features are very useful. Got several large orders as a result of my email campaigns. Worth the money.

Inconvénients

Would like some new templates. Selection seems rather limted.

One of the best and user-friendly CRM

Nutshell has improved my overall sales. When my sells are bigger, boss is happy and at the end I'm happy too ( especially with my sallary ;) )

Avantages

When I had to use nutshell for the first time I was really scared. I was wondering how I will manage all of new features and merge with my database.Then at the end of the first day it feels like i've been using nutshell for years. I wolud recomend it to the all of sellers in managing their sales.

Inconvénients

There is one thing missing in nutshell. After all my experience sometimes I'm looking for specific quote in note to search specific lead. In nutshell there is no such option.

Great Value for Money

Very positive. When I joined the company, Nutshell was the easiest thing to adapt to. So easy to learn and use.

Simple and easy

For some one new to CRM, Nutshell can be a good place to start.

Avantages

CRM pipeline management, Contact management and lead form are my favourites. I used their lead forms in my website to easily collect the contact details. Email sequencing is my most used feature.

Inconvénients

I dont use their email marketing tool much.

It is a must and sales.

It makes my job a lot easier no more Crappy sales reports the only thing I put in Nutshell is the skinny and what happened the time before.

Avantages

It is very easy to navigate through. Notes are very important when making another call back to a customer. You can review what was said what was done this way you can have a conversation start up instantaneously.

Inconvénients

The only thing I wish nutshell would have is sorting customers by ZIP Code. And make it that it could be downloaded and print it out.

Works well for mobile lead tracking

The application is very easy to learn for new employees and retrieves data quickly on the desktop and mobile version.

Avantages

The desktop reporting functions are very fast and help us to generate ad-hoc insight into our sales. Competing products tend to take several minutes to generate reports.

Inconvénients

The mobile Sales Analytics generates reports on a 30-day window as opposed to a month-to-date view. This means that we have to use the desktop reporting to get accurate numbers.

It's been great for us.

Nutshell REview

My overall experience so far has been good, I have only used it for a few months and am still learning but it is a great tool to have.

I like to use Nutshell as a way to have email and marketing campaigns

Great Value

Since we were using Pipedrive for Intake and sales. We used Nutshell for opreational managemennt which was also comparable tot he activities fo inside sales. It was fun, intuitive, easy to use.

Avantages

It is similar to Pipedrive but has more features specific and beneficial.

Inconvénients

We could not do task lists that were shared.

Nutshell at a glance

Overall it is a minimal way to organize clients and priorities. I would prefer that the software handle more of my work such as Quotation, Commercial invoicing, some Accounting, Payment tracking, Request payment reminders for partial payments. Avantages

Customer information storage, Lead priority organization. I like that I can get on any computer when out of the office and the screen looks exactly as at my desk.

Inconvénients

Slow recall for data, Search feature often does not find client easily. I feel that the system was never set up properly by our team. I am certain that we are nut using the best of the software's capability.

Gets the job done

Great!

Avantages

I love being able to track emails, make calls, and have reminders and tasks set up. It's also very user friendly and easy to use. In the past I have used Hubspot and Salesforce and personally like Nutshell the most.

Inconvénients

If I had to pick a least favorite, I would choose being able to reply to an email and not have the insert my signature each time without having to move it from the bottom of the email to the proper place.

Good web version but android app sucks !

Avantages

easy to use, the basic web version is not expensive for the features

Inconvénients

no upgrade to the mobile app (android) since more than 3 years : It is used only to read some limited data. Our sales people are on the road so it is becoming a challenge. We now think to quit Nutshell

Best Value for the Money; Don't Have to Sacrifice Much; Perfect for small up to medium size co.

I've used Nutshell for 10+ years and I've also got three of my consulting clients to start using it. Everyone is very happy. The biggest challenge is not getting people to use Nutshell, it's getting people to use a CRM at all. It's getting them to stop their chaotic disorganized habits and come together to bring all our critical information into one place. We also just started using it for sales tracking and license renewals and it's turning out to be very functional and flexible for that too.

Avantages

Easy and simple to set up and maintain. Very powerful and effective in turning our chaotic spreadsheets and inconsistent behaviors into a well-oiled machine.

Inconvénients

Some of the UI details are not intuitive. We would like more robust forms for capturing leads and customer intent.

Nutshell was superior for the money and seemed to have all the tools we needed. Hubspot was much more expensive and seemed much harder to use. We didn't need all the bells and whistles which just made it harder to use.

Excellent CRM

Absolutely love the platform more everyday and love how often they make improvements.

I love the new AI intelligence feature on Nutshell, and that I can track everything when sending out an email even the open times and frequency.

Inconvénients

I don't like that we cannot make calls or text.

Simple and functional

Avantages

Tasks per stage is something most CRM’s missed, but Nutshell did well at.

Inconvénients

Somehow they missed a very important aspects of customized fields that exists, the ability to create a field that searches the people in database.

A good tool for small businesses

Good overall experience

Avantages

1- friendly2- relatively fast training compared to other softwares

Inconvénients

1- some parameters are difficult to customize (e.g. linking the lead to an invoice, linking the lead to a ''priority'' criterion, etc.)2- Nutshell sees the enterprise admin as a user (who needs to pay) while it just adds new users and gives them proper access and data backup. It's not really fair.
