The weekly Youtube trainings and Q and A's that they hold. I've honestly learned how to use the tool via those.

Also, has the best backlink tracking tool in the industry.

If you compare it to other industry leading tools, they seem to vastly under report the amount of traffic a keyword receives.

They are constantly improving the product and they listen to user requests for features. Most of the metrics you're interested can be seen on a single screen and if you want, you can dive into them to get more detail.

There's a LOT of tools available and sometimes it can become difficult to know which ones are going to be best for you task/ask.

Once one of the greatest SEO tools, it became a tool that confused customers with complicated pricing schemes and tried to charge as much as possible.

We have been AHREFS customers for almost five years, and their recent changes have made us wonder how far this company can go in terms of customer service, customer respect, and pricing schemes. The new scheme is so complicated that your credit card can suddenly charge $1000s without your knowledge.

When we contacted to customer support, they told us that beside the $2000 annual fee we pay, we also need to pay $3500 for additional keyword tracking (which we never signed up for, it was migrated from our old account, where usage was free) without our knowing.

We decided to stop partnering with ahrefs due its complicated pricing model which scams users and surprisingly charges you and we're moving to different platform now.

Usage is not recommended due to the high scam and confusion rate. Recommendation from a company with over 1 million organic monthly traffic and 22 million visitors.

Avantages

Their Keyword explorer feature is best for me, I am able to find the best keywords without spending so much time on Google keyword planner or search engines.

Inconvénients

They Do no provide Wbesite traffic outside search engine

Almost best tool to spot the rankings on your competitors and discover their links. Period.
They tried to add website analysis. You can use that part for free under certain conditions.

Although I'm a big fan of the audits and traffic estimations, which are very useful for competitor analysis, what I like the most about Ahrefs are their features related to backlinking. Many of these features provide all the information you need to create various types of outreach campaigns and advance your SEO techniques, such as detecting backlinks pointing to 404 pages or identifying unlinked mentions.

Inconvénients

I found it a bit expensive. That's probably why is only for SEO Pros. Also, it's a bit hard to use at the very beginning.

I've tried a few SEO tools and Ahrefs is one of my favorites! The site is pretty easy to understand and there are lots of free tools that help me to understand how to improve my SEO ranking. I'd encourage people to use the free trial to check it out.

Ahrefs was always a great tool, that I personally recommended to many colleagues and partners in the SEO industry.

Their pricing model and customer support is terrible. I was somehow involved into what ahrefs is right now, by providing a lot of feedback/feature requests in the early days of ahrefs (same I did for other now well-known SEO platforms). However, this month they just disabled my current plan that I was using for a long period of time, forcing me to switch to more expensive and less functional package. We never exceeded the usage of credits, but they decided that we need to pay more, and pay more for tools that we never used and never will use.

You can add multiple domains once you verify the ownership and its free version gives you quality data. It offers detailed insights on your website improvement score along with the fixes suggestions and it's pretty accurate and useful. It helps me to identify On-page, Technical as well as Off-page errors.It helps you with keyword research and Backlink Analysis. It even helps you with competitor analysis and based on that you can plan your SEO strategies.It will also help you with the internal linking of your website and its suggestions are pretty good.With its backlink audit feature, you can check if you have any toxic backlinks and remove them.The best part is it also fetches data from different search engines like Bing and YouTube too. And that's great if you are working on an IMC Campaign for your Brand. It will give you a detailed analysis of your campaigns.

They can make a lot more improvements in their Local SEO feature.

I believe that the force of Ahrefs resides in the accuracy of their data, especially related to backlinks over competitors. That's probably my favorite part of the software.

Inconvénients

I don't like their limits very much. For a SEO software, it's quite costly and the limits in the base plan is very low. They should re-structure pricing around other limits than keywords search or change how credits are deducted because it's a very bad designed system that is unfair when you just refresh your page for example.

The backlink profile is my favourite feature on the platform as is the ability to really filter in and out the keywords list to really find what you're looking for.

We had an issue with changing ownership of the account which took longer to resolve than expected, but i understand for security reasons it's better to be safe than sorry.

The software comprises of many great tools that are almost necessary for all digital marketers. You can perform keyword research, check link profile, get content ideas and many more in the same platform. And the interface is simple but easy to use.

Inconvénients

There are updates but very few and to be frank, most feel like a minor tweak. The keywords explorer isn't always working and could be great to see more features like keyword categorisation by intent.

It's great for keyword research, competitive analysis, and anything really related to SEO. Love their content as well.

Steep learning curve, though they do their best to provide loads of content resources to help.

Drilling down for useable information is absolutely possible. It's great to have the ability to receive data that will focus and target our needs.

Inconvénients

The learning curve is a bit steep. You almost have to know what answer (data) you want to know that the results will be useful. The depth of Ahrefs is fantastic until you don't know of what it's fully capable, so you might miss some data or precise results.
