Sortly Is Great

Avantages

I like that it is folder based and you can make it very visual. I is a great price compared to others I have seen.

Inconvénients

I wish there was a drag and drop feature. And it would be helpful to have a reset point.

Affordable inventory management system

Avantages

Easily accessible and can be implemented immediately, never encountered any technical issue since the implementation.

User friendly, its easy to create inventory and track material.

Inconvénients

Research and reconciliation functions are difficult to figure out at times as sortly is constricted it feels to do certain activities.

Excellent inventory management system for those that don't need the "standard" type of system.

Very easy to use and train others how to use.

Avantages

Love the degree that the inventory information can be customized - personalized fields, creation of folders to categorize and move items into and out of, ability to NOT use certain standard fields such as SKU and $ value.

Inconvénients

Reports are not great. Would like a way to create a custom report that can be run, rather than selecting the fields you want each time. Also wish that there was a better to show movement on inventory from one folder to another. Number of users is also too small; price point to increase to more than 3 users is too high.

Works Great

It's been a really helpful product.

Avantages

It's easy to use and customize. A great way to keep track of products. We have a lot of skus and it handles it well.

Inconvénients

Images uploading could be a little easier since we have so many skus.

Keeping All Things Sorted

Avantages

I love being able to track multiple items with multiple users. Shortly allows us to maintain our items for check out and easily see where anything is at any time.

Inconvénients

I have no complaints about Sortly. Very user friendly.

Good Pricing for the services provided

Avantages

It's easy to manage us stock, ad, move and remove products in big quantities. It's good thing to have the values of the stocks.

Inconvénients

The tags aren't the most easy to work with and the research section can be upgraded

Sortly as a stock control system

As a relatively small business, we didn't want to pay thousands for a stock control system. Sortly has definitely plugged the gap that we had.

Avantages

The product is very easy to use. It is a simple and effective way for our team to manage our stock. I like that we can generate reports and have a live indication of our stock levels.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the product can be a little slow/laggy.

I really like it! I am happy with what the software has to offer

Avantages

It is amazing to have all of your products controlled!

Inconvénients

There is no undo bottom option. Specially with so many products and infomation to add into the software, if you get confuse a erase the wrong one, there is no going back. That is a mayor problem, hopefully that can be fixed soon

alerts need work

everything is good except the 1 critical feature missing

the mobile app (which is what we use 99% of the time) is easy to use

Inconvénients

we NEED alerts for groups/folders of items (i.e. computers, keyboards, mice, monitors, etc.)

Works As Described

Avantages

Does just about exactly what we needed, and the team was super helpful in figuring out if it would work for us.

Inconvénients

Nothing stands out as a con. Our specific needs could not be met by anything as we really needed to build our own. But this solved enough of our challenges that it was well worth it.

Interior Designer Use

Avantages

I use Sortly for inventory because it is so easy to use. The photo section is an added bonus. It's so nice to snap a picture of what I've purchased for instant recall when designing for a client.

Inconvénients

Sometime Sortly runs a little slow when adding items.

Solid product

Avantages

I am glad that there are very many categories and options to catalog detail about each product. I keep inventory of my studio and it is nice to group things like microphones and instruments, but even better to be able to break into down into different types of each.

A few minor bugs but nothing has stood out to me.

Unique usage

I needed a product that I could use as the power of attorney for a client to inventory all the items in her home, and I would have to put in storage and be able to verify years later were still stored. She was declining in health and heading into dementia.

Instructions on how to use were not clear. I did better feeling my way (which I did not want to do!)

Great product for the price point!

support staff has been great in helping us learn the software and offering ideas to accommodate our goals

Avantages

We really enjoy the ability to track stock levels of items we keep in our warehouse, this allows us to easily increase and decrease supply levels.

Inconvénients

I would love if Sortly allowed us to easily merge case and individual stock levels under the same item code. Example: we've opened a case and used some of it so we have 3 cases under 1 line item and misc numbers under a line item for individual counts once a case is broken open.

First Time User

I dont love it and I dont hate it. For the amount of effort I had to put in to create the inventory system, Its not worth switching. Additionally, we use this tool for a small in house inventory product display.

Avantages

Sortly has great customer support, and is priced extremely fair.

Inconvénients

I found it a bit difficult to use the software interchangeably on a desktop verse a laptop. Some of their features are not user friendly and its more work than needed (ie. if you have a single product in black but it comes in 5 sizes, you have to download the image to each size item individually rather than being able to "apply to all size variants". Little things like that made it difficult as a user. Additionally, I wish they had a video tutorial on how to use their services and walk you through each step.

Almost what I need

I really want to use sortly but I can't justify the price when I can do most of what I need with a spreadsheet

The tools to organize my inventory and create inventory lists for my client is perfect.

Inconvénients

I am not running a store or anything so there are many features that go unused and I feel I am wasting my money paying for those. The price of the product is really holding me back.

That we can add product photos of our stock we keep in our shop.

We have found that sortly is slightly harder to get to know the ins and outs of the system. We are still doing our best to use it to the best of its abilities.

So Far, So Good....

Avantages

We were up and running in a matter of hours. We're using it as a redundant system to our crappy current system in hopes that it will be a permanent solution. Looking forward to see how the API will work with our current system.

Works for collection catalog

Avantages

Mobile app, ease of use, custom fields, pictures. QR Code creation. Reports.

Inconvénients

Price for personal use of cataloging a collection is high. Do not use inventory for multiples as it is a private collection (1 item of each) but gets expensive having several thousand items in collection.

Okay but not great

Avantages

It was a simple set up for an account and the cost was reasonable.

Inconvénients

The actual process of inventory with folders and things didn't make a lot of sense to me. Made it hard to actually manage and move inventory. Overly complicated.

Great product

Avantages

I love how easy it is to inventory my cookie cutters. Sortly makes it easy to find the one I want in a timely matter.

Inconvénients

I wish Sortly was more affordable for small businesses or the general public who would like to inventory something in their home. Cookie cutter collection, craft supplies, etc...

Simple to use, clean design, & easy to upload photos

Inconvénients

Doesn’t send push notifications. A few other features would be good.

Sortly pays for itself

Avantages

Ease of use was the most important aspect of what system we picked for our inventory management. Sortly was the winner.

Inconvénients

We honestly do not have any complaints about any of the features.

Sortly Review- Inventory

I would like to use it more when I have time to implement the barcodes, but it is also just great to help me keep our inventory in check.

not having to manually go through stock.

Avantages

I like being notified from my desk when inventory is low, and the ease of checking inventory from anywhere.

Inconvénients

I cannot add a variation to an current item. Also i do not like having to scan every time i take out inventory of different variations of the same item.

Convenient Inventory Tracker

Overall this product has been a beneficial management tool!

Avantages

The folder system makes it really easy to organize inventory by location and know exactly where things are!

Inconvénients

Adding details for multiple item variations is hard to do after an item with variations has been created already.

Handles what we need

We needed to inventory our valuable items at our schools and this program/service did the job.

Avantages

Easy recording. User-friendly system. Applicable with multiple users.

Inconvénients

Nope! The customer service handled the unknowns for us and we were good to go.

Great for Cafe Inventory Management

Great experience so far.

Avantages

Easy to use, and does exactly what we need it to do for inventory management at our cafe. We set the minimums, an employee takes count and enters it into the app, then we get an alert to order.

Inconvénients

We had to figure out the best way to do our inventory, and a customer service rep was able to help with that. More of an issue on our end.
