Easy to use, quick access to help if needed

Avantages

The software interface is easy to use, which is especially important with speakers who have never used the software before. Also their support is great - quick to respond and helpful.

Inconvénients

Upgrades and changes are not adiquitly communicated with current customers.

On24 review

Our company began a contract with ON24 after meeting with several competing vendors. Ultimately ON24s capabilities were our favorite - and we often have ~500 or more people viewing and calling in with live questions.

Avantages

Our team loves the Simulive feature - it is so great not being limited to strictly a live only recording. Being able to re-record as needed is great.

Inconvénients

We struggle trying to edit a past webinar, i.e., shorten it, delete slides, etc. Sometimes we want to cut half of a slide out, and struggle with this editing part.

ON24 Review

Overall ON24 works with what we've been doing so far. I don't believe we work directly with ON24, we work with TSN who works with ON24 who in part works with us as our Vendor.

Avantages

The ability to have 2 platforms to host and support our Webinars/Webcasts as well as Library for our In person events we have stored

Inconvénients

Not being able to toggle between the two platforms. I feel like we are on one platform with 2 users IDs so that we can actually use the features of one and the other is just a storage base - they should be integrated

Smooth Sailing with On24 Webinars

One of our key goals with thought leadership is creating an audience network that builds mind-share, over market share. ON24 webinars has been instrumental in achieving this. As an organization, we've increased our yearly share of webinars and now use 3 webinars per quarter. All our stakeholders who've used ON24 are very happy with the output and its ease of use.

Avantages

ON24 has been our primary webinar hosting software for over 3 years. The Pros we've had with using this software include:
- customizing the webinar registration page with brand elements
- round the clock tech support
- audience engagement score
- customizable audience console

Inconvénients

We like all of what ON24 offers, but there are some additional features we'd like to see in the future:
- integration with CRMs
- allowing files larger than 2GB to be uploaded in the Presenter Media section
- allowing surveys after a webinar recording ends

My ON24 Review

So far it has been pretty good. Other than some of the things I outlined like being able to have a more interactive webinar that is podcast style. The platform is easy to navigate and creating things are very easy.

Avantages

I like the ease of setting up webinars. Super quick and easy. Especially the duplication of past webinars.

Inconvénients

I wish that It was a bit more robust as a podcast would be. I would love to have Multicam functionality with hosts and attendees and the ability to easily have audio for both hosts and attendees.

Best platform to use

We've seen an increase with attendees and on demand attendees since moving onto On24. We're able to provide our users with more insights than we have been able to do previously, and our community are now more engaged than ever before in our webcasts.

Avantages

Ease of use, always being updated with new features, listens to the community and introduces new features/products or services based on what we need.

Inconvénients

Costly compared to others platforms in this area, have had a few issues with on demand version not downloading, but has been quickly resolved so not a huge deal.

ON24 Webinar Software

Overall, the experience has been very good. The support is excellent, the product is easy to use and has a lot of fantastic features, that have been lacking in other pies of software.

Avantages

Ease of use, many great features to help engage with the audience.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the quality can be lacking in the video, this could be a problem on our end. I would also say that the delay between the speaker and the audience can be a little frustrating at times.

On24 - Great Software

Avantages

I'm been using ON24 for over 4 years now and I find the program to be very easy to use and beneficial to our organization. The reporting is something we admire and benefit from and our clients appreciate the fact that we can monitor who joins, for how long, ask questions etc. I'm also happy that ON24 can be incorporated into Act-On.

Inconvénients

There always seems to be an issue with the console builder. I'm constantly asking support to fix my background colours.

Consistent quality

Higher quality than other options tried

Avantages

The platform is regularly updated and offers a lot of features not available with other options. Especially good for larger virtual events with more than 100 attendees. Great customer service. Good thought leadership events.

Inconvénients

Some trouble with audio quality - though that's pretty rare and bound to happen. Customer support team is assigned at random, so a little inconsistency there.

ON24 takes webinars to another level no other company is on

It's been great, I just wish I could double the size of my team becuase with a very small webinar team, I feel like we are only scratching the surface.

Avantages

ON24 has countless features, options for customization, branding, tracking, CRM integration, content gateway, great audience experience, etc. we could go on and on!

Inconvénients

the more robust the software, the more can go wrong. If the webinars are not set up perfectly, the webinar will not run smoothly. You can not make changes on the fly (if you set the webinar up with no screenshare, you cannot change your mind on the live webinar) if you need to change the console, you cannot do so when the webinar starts, etc.

No dial-in number as a standard offering for webinars

We also wish that ON24 could be used for demos and 1-on-1 calls but the audience lag doesn't allow for that.

Great webinar tool

Avantages

The On24 platform allows webinars to be more than just slides and a voice. I like all the different widgets that promote audience engagement. Their annual user conference, Webinar World, was a blast and great for an intermediate user like me.

Inconvénients

There isn't an option for dial-in/phone audio without a costly phone bridge from my understanding. We often hear from attendees that they couldn't watch live since they didn't have headphones at their desk.

The best webinar software

We've had a great experience for two years now. The platform is used by marketing and customer support teams. No plans to switch. We should use more of the integrations with Salesforce - haven't fully taken advantage.

Avantages

When I bring speakers on to On24 for our dry runs, there's always a lot of questions about how to "launch polls" and stress about things going awry. These frequent webinar speakers must have had a bad experience elsewhere - in On24 you launch a poll simply by advancing the slide, and you launch results by simply advancing the slide one more time. The tool is incredibly intuitive.

Inconvénients

I've requested a better way to get the video file delivered following the live presentation. We put on-demand videos in Wistia rather than using On24's on-demand capability, so this creates some work on my end, but it's an edge use case.

Great software - robust, but still simple to use

I have been using ON24 for nearly two years now. I was using a competitor before that, and I much prefer the interface, and functionality of ON24. When I train people on how to present they basically teach themselves. It is easy to learn, and easy to use as you advance in more features.

Avantages

ON24 has many great features built right in including screen sharing, PowerPoint deck sharing, Q&A, polls, call-in audio, streaming audio, and sharing video over presentation.

Inconvénients

There are a few features that are pay-to-play. E.x. if someone registered, and you want to delete that registrant you need to pay for the customer support team to remove them. Many of the analytics are free, but other analytics cost extra.

Best in Class

ON24 is very professional and always respond immediately to any and all requests. They are truly experts in webinars, and are great about sharing data, best practices and training. Customer service is fantastic and speedy. ON24 has completely changed how we implement webinars and increased our leads and acquisition immediately. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ON24!

Avantages

I love the registration and event email features, and especially the engagement/attendee data that is captured. The ability to brand your console, link to social platforms, and share resources is also a huge plus. Customer service and tech support is phenomenal.

Inconvénients

Webinar set up can be a bit complex. I recommend completing all of the training modules ON24 provides. I would love to see an option to download a full data report in one PDF.

Avantages

The ease of use to produce a webinar is incredible. I did not know much about webinars when I got started, and this platform made it easy for me to create and access what I needed to know quickly. It provides a good customer/attendee experience and I wouldn't use anyone else.

Honestly, the one thing I get frustrated about is how long it can take to upload our slides or files.

ON24 Review

It has been positive. We were offered some additional training on how to further customize the background but have not received that yet.

Avantages

This software makes creating an event so simple and there are many tools to help enhance the webinar experience.

Inconvénients

That there is not an audio function were participants can speak. We use this a lot as a virtual classroom but for some of our more advanced course we have to use Skype for business as students in multiple locations need to communicate. Our previous vendor "Go To Webinar Suite" had this technology.

ON-24 is our GO-TO Webinar Tool

We use this tool for mainly systemwide webcasts to "boost morale" and communicate key messages.

Avantages

We like that multiple people from different departments can utilize the system. It's intuitive to use and the upgrades to the operating systems have reduced the complexity and made it easier and faster to use.

Inconvénients

The fee for a "hosted operator" is rather expensive, so we use these selectively.

A platform that encourages engagement

Inconvénients

Presenters sometimes complain about having to call in on the phone and access via the web. They would like to be able to just access via the web.

Our ON24 team has provided exceptional support. We've had a great experience and have had great success with our webinar program.

Avantages

User Interface enables engagement with attendees through social sharing, polling surveys, and resources.
The on demand engagement provides a professional and virtually live experience for attendees when they are available to watch it.
Integration with Salesforce delivers attendee contact info, engagement activities, and answers from polling to enrich follow-up conversations.
Analytics data provide detailed performance metrics.

Great platform for publishers

Avantages

It's rock solid technically. The ability to customize the console is excellent.

Inconvénients

Pricing can be much higher than other webinar platforms. This is the Cadillac though, so you expect it will be a higher price.

Easy to use platform

We have had a great relationship with ON24 for many years. As an events company, we need to provide quality and seamless events for our attendees and ON24 helps us accomplish that.

Avantages

The ON24 platform is very user friendly. We run quite a few webinars in a month and the setup for each is quick and simple. The webinars themselves run smoothly every time!

Inconvénients

Because it is so simple, we have run into a few limitations with the platform. In some cases we will have requests from our clients to include a feature on the console that is just not available.

Good product, terrible customer service

We have used the product for years. We like the product but hate the customer service. I would say 1 in 10 people we work with are good. The response is slow, or not helpful in nearly all cases (webinars, virtual summits etc). We are self service, which obviously has limited interaction with you and I think it shows that you dont value self service programs.

Avantages

It is a straightforward, easy to use product for our audience and our speakers. We like it mostly because it is simple. We also like the metrics/reporting features.

Inconvénients

There aren't a ton of new features added regularly.

User friendly platform

While I haven’t tried other platforms, on24 has been great and all our clients comment on how it is more issuer friendly than other webinar platforms out there.

Review of On24

I have used it for about 6 months and really like it. I think there are small improvements possible, but overall been seamless so far.

Avantages

Easy to use and gets the job done. I have never had a problem.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the back end is confusing during the actual webinar.

Why ON24 is the webinar system to use

Very good, i have not had a lot of issues with support and everything tends to be very easy to use.

Avantages

I think webinars look cleaner, and easier to view with the ON24 platform.

Inconvénients

i wish the reports were easier to breakdown or have more types or reports.

ON24 rocks!

We have speakers from all over the world and the biggest problem we've been able to solve is to host webinars with our speakers from everywhere --together! The flexibility allows us to record the webinar at different times and still give the audience a seamless experience!

Avantages

The flexibility of recording a webinar with multiple speakers in different places and at different times!!!

Inconvénients

the initial dashboard / filtering of all the webinars.

Have used ON24 at my last 2 jobs

ON24 tech support is awesome and fast.

Avantages

It's easy to customize and setting up the registration site is a snap

Inconvénients

You have to run presenters through a practice session because ON24 is quite different than what they may have used previously

Exactly What We Need

Avantages

It is fairly easy to use and intuitive. It fits the exact role that we need and doesnt disappoint.

Inconvénients

We need to be able to move audio from slide to slide. That is the biggest con for the way we use ON24

intuitive software

While my account manager has always been responsive, I find there is staff turnover in this position quite often.

Avantages

Intuitive; easy to use. I'm happy that I can evaluate the user's experience. I wish there was a way to test and evaluate in one widget. That would be a great improvement!

Inconvénients

In almost all my events, I serve up a certificate of completion to participants who meet pre-determined requirements. Though I've asked for the certificate to be automatically emailed to those who met requirements, the system isn't programmed to do this. It would be very helpful!

Big player on Webinars

I like the revamped interface, On24 is still a big player in the Webinars world, so it is always adapting and improving.

Avantages

On24 is one of the oldest players in the Webinar arena. It was the first offering a fully interactive space for share slides, polls, videos, etc. The concept was revolutionary when it was introduced.

Inconvénients

In this time, the best apps for events are HTML5 based. But if you want a really HTML5 tool you have to design it from the roots. ON24 is adapting to the times but is not a HTML5 native tool.

Great, customizable webinar software

Avantages

ON24 provides a great user experience to webinar attendees by allowing them to "customize" their journey. They also have a fantastic user community with lots of great tips and best practices for improving webinar programs.

Inconvénients

ON24 can have some challenging technical issues that are not intuitive or immediately clear that may lead to bigger issues during live webinars.

ON24 for Pelco

LOVE the customer service, top-notch! We like the reports feature, the analytics, and the ease of use.

Avantages

We like that our users can register for events in the platform and receive email reminders.

Inconvénients

Probably that there's no way to save a webinar onto my PC. I accidentally saved over a webinar once, before it was published and it was lost forever. We had to re-create the whole webinar.

On24 is a great Webinar Tool

We use On24 as our primary webinar service. You can easily upload your presentation prior to the webinar, which should help mitigate potential issues, and it's tiles & modules are easy to navigate & use. It has great interactivity with polls, chats & questions.

Avantages

On24 makes webinars easy. I love that it includes interactivity with polls & is easy to setup, save & run prior to the webinar.

Inconvénients

I wish it was live instead of 10-second delay. When you're doing live questions, that can be troublesome.
