Functionalities are not hidden and one can easily discover them without additional sources.
Recruitment, calendars, tracking, all of these things are solved in Personio.

Some colleagues had their calendar days mixed up after an update.
However, there are not so many things to complain about, little tweaks are needed here and there.

You can customise the reports you want to create easily and add different conditions.

Would require some improvement to make it scalable for multiple locations. The tool is having very customisable fields but sometimes when you operate in a lot of different countries with central functions like HR analytics you require some local regulations features (13th month of salary, different working time, fields for local allowances).

One big missing feature is the absence of some dynamic fields, having dynamic dropdown in the tool would really help a lot to avoid mistakes when someone is entering some data in the tool

Very user-centered design. The frequently used functions are all accesible within one or two clicks.

It would be great if they would have templates for frequently used times when clocking the working hours. So that you don't have to enter the same times every day manually

It is very intuitive. I also love the dashboard that gives you a clear overview of the info you need.

I sometimes get confused when the absences are limited to the year (ie overcarried absences arent subtracted from the total).

It supports advanced automations which is fantastic because:1. The system largely eliminates human error and doesn't cause our HR staff a lot of issues.2. The data is sent over to our other tools very smoothly.

English support is a bit lacking. Also, there are recurring performance issues in the applicant management dashboard. We submitted a ticket but the issue wasn't solved for a couple months

The holistic approach of Personio. Therefore they can provide the perfect solution for small and medium sized companies. Personio has well-thought-out-workflows that are very individually customizable!

Inconvénients

There a still several features I wish to have (like the reminder function of applicant tags ;)), but these are only small things!

It has really good modules of Attendance and Leave management. No need for hefty long emails to Managers or HR for leaves request.

The user interface is a bit old. It needs improvement.

We greatly appreciate all of the features Personio offers, and actively use the entire range of tools and features. In terms of core HR processes, one of the most instant and most significant benefits of using Personio was the easy administration of personnel data and the absence management. Everyone in our company, from employees to managers to members of the HR team, has benefitted tremendously from Personio's user-friendly absence management features, which all our employees use regularly. Both our HR and Accounting departments profit from the extensive reporting features, which we use to create monthly, quarterly or annual reports on all relevant personnel data. This function is also appreciated by our managers, who can gain quick overviews on key figures with just a few clicks. Apart from the administrative features, it is mainly Personio's recruiting tool which has impacted our HR processes in an extremely positive way. Creating and publishing job ads, managing applications and communicating with applicants has never been so easy, and is enabling us to manage our recruiting workflows in a way that is sure to leave a positive impression on applicants. All in all, Personio has greatly improved our HR processes and, along with this, improved the working lives of all internal stakeholders.

Inconvénients

Since we are a global company, our aim is to roll out Personio internationally to all our subsidiaries in different countries around the world. In this regard, we are doing a certain amount of pioneer work, as the system is not yet completely perfected for international use and some features or special configurations are not yet part of the software. Therefore, we need to align the requirements of our international subsidiaries with the features currently available in the software and, in some cases, find workarounds. Personio has provided great support in this process and has been able to provide solutions to the vast majority of topics we dealt with.

It can be easily configured. The fast implementation. Good and fast customer service. All inquiries are answered within 24 hours (weekdays) and 80% of inquiries are resolved within 24 hours. Usually within 6 hours. The software is constantly evolving and is becoming even more customer-friendly.

Inconvénients

Partly the red thread through the SW is missing. For example, the date can only be recorded with 24/12/2019 at one location while it must be recorded with 24.12.2019 at another location. There are newer reports, especially in recruiting, where the figures are not correct. Further input fields do not always correspond to the same logic. So you have to be careful in the salary area if you overwrite a number in the salary field, an additional "0" is added. Just some small things.

It's really easy to use and implement the tool. And I really like the support material - you can find very good articles about each topic and question and if I cannot find the answer there - I get quick help from the support team

some features are only provided on the basic level - but telling it to the support can help, one of my issues is now solved and a new standard in the protfolio. but it would be great to have the possibility to set a date when I want to send a message to a applicant.

- It's easy to find the information we are looking for, the UI is really nice. - It can be adapted to different countries' specifications (ex: specific holidays for certain countries).- You receive email notifications when your absence gets approved

- We should be able to login with the SSO from Google/Microsoft account, it takes quite some time to log in.- Notifications should be more personalized and extended (example: being able to set up notification when a payslip is available).

Für die absoluten Basics wie die digitale Personalakte, reine Arbeitszeiterfassung oder Abwesenheitsmanagment ist Personio ausreichend.

An ganz vielen Ecken und Enden wurde der Prozess nicht zu Ende gedacht bzw. nicht von einem HR-ler entwickelt. Leider bemerkt man das erst im Alltag im Day-to-Day Business.
- Der Urlaubsanspruch bzw. das Salär errechnet sich nicht automatisch aus den Stellenprozenten sondern muss an mehreren Orten gepflegt werden.
- MA-Ziele bzw. Teamziele sind nicht mit Unternehmenszielen verknüpft, was wieder doppelten Aufwand bedeutet.
- Performance-Reviews: mühsam aufzusetzten, Feedbacks lassen sich nur bedingt dem nächst höheren VG geben, Reviews und Feedbacks werden nicht automatisch in der Personalakte gespeichert sondern müssen manuell einzeln gespeichert werden.
- Schulungen rudimentär
- Implementierung von Timr. (unsere Zeiterfassung) hat bis heute nicht gelappt (obwohl als Integration auf dem Marketplace beworben)

Intuitive Bedienbarkeit, sehr gute Übersichtlichkeit, individuell anpassbar, ersetzt viele manuellen Schritte, Checklisten und Workflows, erleichtert die alltägliche Personalarbeit.

Inconvénients

Der Bereich Performance & Entwicklung benötigt noch einige Entwicklungen wie z.B. Bildung von Cluster, Sortierfunktion und individuelle Anordnung im Bereich "Schulungen", Druckfunktion bei der Vorbereitung von Feedbackgesprächen, um diese mit in das Gespräch nehmen zu können.

Avantages

Ich finde das Tool sehr einfach und komfortabel in der Anwendung. Mir gefällt, wie klar es alle Funktionen anzeigt. Besonders gut gefallen mir das Organigramm des Unternehmens und auch die Verwaltung der Urlaube und die Möglichkeit, einen Überblick über die Verfügbarkeit meiner Kollegen zu erhalten.
Es ist auch besonders einfach, mein eigenes Profil zu verwalten und Zugang zu meinen Gehaltsunterlagen und Informationen zu haben.
Es ist ganz einfach zu sehen, wo jeder Kollege im Unternehmen sitzt und bei Bedarf die richtige Person zu erreichen wenn man was braucht.

Inconvénients

Das ist schwer zu sagen.
Vielleicht ein paar Dinge, die ich im Onboarding-Fenster nicht bearbeiten kann. Es gibt einige Informationen, die ich nicht bearbeiten kann, obwohl ich es gerne könnte. Das könnte allerdings damit zu tun haben, dass ich keine Administratorrechte habe. Ansonsten bin ich sehr begeistert.

I like that the usage is easy, quick to understand and that the talent management for recruiting pipelines has a nice overview.
In addition, the support reaches out to you asap if you need help and have questions in general - hence, I am never left with doubts.

Inconvénients

Unfortunately KPI tracking (for recruiting) is not a strength and a lot of data has to be drawn manually or cannot be tracked at all. However, Personio is currently working on this issue which will be a major upgrade for the future.

Die Software ist sehr übersichtlich und intuitiv bedienbar sowohl für Mitarbeitende und das People Operations Team. Personio erleichtert und automatisiert viele Prozesse und bietet Schnittstellen zu verschiedenen Tools für weiteres Automatisierungspotenzial.

Inconvénients

In unserem Fall sind die Einstellungen im Hintergrund recht umfangreich und teilweise sehr umständlich da wir mehrere Tochtergesellschaften in einem Account verwalten.

Avantages

Integrierte Lohnabrechnung, aber auch nur teilautomatisiert. Das war damals der Hauptgrund für uns von absence.io zu personio zu wechseln.

Inconvénients

Sehr unübersichtliche und wenig intuitive Software. Wir zahlen aktuell ca. 7.000 EUR/Jahr für ein kleines Team. Das Preismodell bietet wenig Flexibilität. Die Berechnung der Urlaubstage war immer wieder falsch und die Einstellungen zur Korrektur zu finden nur mit Hilfe des Supports möglich. Das Portal ist nicht mal responsive und die App einfach nur ein Scherz in Funktion und Umfang.
Hinzu kommt noch ein wenig kulanter Kundenservice.

The all in one solution for all our HR needs. The intuitive user interface also deserves praise, as it makes navigating through different modules effortless. Furthermore, Personio's customer support team has been exceptional.

Inconvénients

While Personio effectively manages fundamental HR processes, some features may be overlooked due to the emphasis on core functions. There are occasions where the system falls short due to minor details that are difficult to comprehend. As an HR professional, one may encounter frustrations when certain features appear to be hastily implemented without thorough consideration, leading to occasional setbacks in usability.

However, this is a minor drawback in comparison to its overall functionality and ease of use.
