It really allows you to take control of your time. You know what you are doing and for how long. It allows you to manage your time better as well. After using it for some time, I quickly notice how much it empowers me to stay on track in order to keep my mental health and productivity aligned.

Inconvénients

Super detailed if your employee care too much over their privacy. I think that using it requires maybe both parties to sign something first.

We are using this app to track the offshore working team, what they are doing time to time basis and thereby improving the productivity of the employees. Its very useful now-a-day to monitor employees while the management is out of work environment.

Still the price can be reduce with a bulk purchase of this app. Need to send the important screenshots when employee is not working

I love that the trackers can float on top of your screen, so you always have a play/pause button right there. Adding new users (freelancers etc.) is a breeze. It's also pretty good-looking and they have reports on web/app useage!

Inconvénients

I still struggle with organizing and deleting tasks. While the app and website look sleek, this very basic function has been made sluggish in the process.

This can be used as a monitoring tool for a company management team to monitor the work of their employees and that will speed up the productivity of that company. Apart from monitoring, time doctor track time of the tasks and generate reports.

As I said I used it two times, I felt like monitoring will destroy the privacy of the employees.

what i like most about time doctor is that the good UI in web portal, supports multiple integrations like jira cards/tickets. automatically jira cards are shown in the timedoctor app.

what i like least about the app is the transitioning the apps' shortcut control from vertical to horizontal or vice versa. its not that very comfortable to switch.

In my previous company, we used Time Doctor for real time monitoring. While most of my co-employees hated being monitored, I loved it! Serving 3 clients in a day, Time Doctor helped me easily categorize each time spent for a specific client. I never had to manually log my hours used for a specific task for a client, Time Doctor does it for me. Although camera shy, I liked the random camera shots and screenshots. My clients and the company can see if I'm really working during my shift. It is especially important that I gained much of my clients' trust because they can see that I've been working hard for them.

Inconvénients

There are times when the stolen camera shots were just embarrasing. If I can only always smile while working, my clients wouldn't have to tease me with my big forehead. Haha! But nevertheless, Time Doctor had been very helpful.

The team needs to work on customer service, they could be quite slow to reply to requests.

Our company have been using this software, specially during campaigns when we hire new support members (freelancers) help you to track the activity that your team is having, like which websites they visit and spend most of the time.

Time Doctor is a great product for all the tracking purposes. But it is lacking integration with some other SaaS'es. Once there is more Integrations Time Doctor will be irreplaceable time tracking app in my daily usage.

I absolutely love the simplicity of the design, setup, dashboard, and ease of use. I have enough to do on a computer. I don't possibly need more to do on a computer so the quick setup and lack of confusion make it so nice. Just a breeze. The dashboard is solid and has just enough info, organized just how it should be. Love it.

Inconvénients

It auto starts occasionally which is a tad annoying. That was the only flaw I found.

The interface could be updated a bit, as it can sometimes be difficult to navigate. Also, the options are very limited without a paid plan.

Everything! The way the product is created its super helpful to track your time and its feature for showing top apps and webs used during your work is something I was looking for. The time flies so fast and not tracking will lost your days and weeks. Honestly Time Doctor have made me the pilot and have given me controls to take care of my time. I have used other free software before to save money but putting money to buy Time Doctor is worthy.

There's nothing I disliked about the software but the experience with support team for me was awful. Wait for so long to get their replies and their behavior is mostly they try to convince you even if its their mistake. Sending them direct email have no benefits as no one respond you back so you don't have option to talk with the superiors and sort the issues.

I like that it has screen shots and measures your productivity so that your employer can see clearly that you are doing your job efficiently and not wasting their money!

When paused for a break it pops up and says are you back after 10 mins .I'm sure there is a way to change this time but I haven't found it yet.

Sometimes the software will interrupt me to ask if I'm still working in the middle of my work if it thinks I'm using a product that isn't work related, even when it is work related or I switch into Spotify for 2 seconds.

One of the best features of this software is the ability to check the timeline of an employee where you can check their activity, logins, logouts etc. It is also an easy to use software (user-friendly). I also love the name of this software.

I would only say, would like to have a better reporting system of exporting reports directly and quickly.

The best part is that it does all the work for you. Provides details of where time is spent by any employee. Keeps track of time, logs hours, and all data entered into software by any employee at any time! Keeps track of all your employees and what they are doing makes it easier for you to spend time on other more important task. Keeps an eye on the productivity of your employees.

I honestly can not think of any negative things to say about this software program! For the use and the price you are not losing anything! Only gaining wonderful insight into company!

There is a problem with the browser extension. The extension sometimes does not work well with certain websites. So many times I have had trouble integrating it with Asana.

Also, using keyboard shortcuts speeds things up so much it's not even funny. Ctrl + Alt + T brings up the Time Doctor menu, you start typing the name of the task (case sensitive!) and hit Enter. That's it. Love it.

Inconvénients

The reason "Ease of Use" got marked down is because Time Doctor menus are unreadable with high contrast settings in Windows 7. This theme is easy on my eyes so I'm not gonna change it. But once you set all the options the way you like it it's basically smooth sailing. I never have to touch the menus so I no longer care. I can live with that.

The ease with which one can accommodate to the app and make use of it. Great at capturing time taken for a specific project. Very User-Friendly.

The Screenshots which are captured every 3 minutes. Not that one is not doing their work properly, but being questioned about a Screenshot of a page which is not work related becomes a big issue. maybe give a warning before taking the screenshot. ;-)

Time tracking seems like it'll be challenging and difficult, but if you have the right tools, it doesn't have to be. This works great. Our group has been testing different time tracking tools, and this one is definitely one of the best. It's organized and easy to understand.

They will never let you cancel and keep charging you month on month even after your cancellation. I reached out to the support through mail and they even sent me an confirmation email that the account is cancelled but I keep getting charged every month.

It is hard to find projects and tasks from the app. I would like to use it daily, but it is so cumbersome that I don't use it despite paying for it every month.
I did not cancel my subscription because I still hope I will use it, but am not very successful so far.
Skype and other communication apps integrations are missing. When I make a Skype call, the system should track it and then I can assign the call to a project.

I only used Time Doctor once as an employer for a small Python project Java project but I have to say that I'm really satisfied how good accurate it was. I like the fact that the app is taking screenshots of the workflow and thus even you your employee is slacking you will know about it. Another great thing is that you can break the time into components/tasks and easily monitor the whole process.
Oh yeah, and it has a really nice web dashboard :)

The popups can be annoying sometimes, it would be good if there was a better customization option for those.
