The best chat system I know

Installing Chatra on our website has not only changed the way we directly communicate with the users of our website, but also our approach to user research and email collection.
It's obviously great to be available for our users at any moment to help them find a better way to send money abroad or to answer any questions they could have on a money transfer provider, but we also use Chatra pro-actively to ask targeted questions to users matching certain criteria. When we launch a new feature on our comparison platform for example, we'll start a chat with the users using it for the first time to ask them if everything make sense to them.
Even when we're not online on the chat, we configured offline messages in Chatra which help us collect emails of potential leads.
Thanks to Chatra's flexible API, the app is well integrated with our analytics and support software. The chat is now definitively a key part of the user journey of many of our users.

Easy to use and modern chat agent

This is very good software that continuously improves with time. It would be great to have Tags and Statuses for easier tracking and tagging of chat requests. One more option that I am looking for in near future is FAQ section within chat agent.

Avantages

This software looks great and it is very easy to use. Their mobile app is also very nice and can completely replace web version - all functionalities are accessible through mobile app.

Inconvénients

It is not very easy to find some old conversations and to search by status. There is no way to restrict what each chat agent is allowed to see. Everyone is able to see everything.

Best Chat Plug-In

From the very first day I installed Chatra, it simply worked! We started to receive chats from customers on our website, and our customers really appreciate receiving instant answers to their questions.

Avantages

The many features, and ease of set-up and use.

Inconvénients

Can't think of a single bad thing to say.

Avantages

it is easy to set up, making chat bot is easy. very intuitive.

Inconvénients

firstly it is not accessible to large quantities of people. and sometimes it hangs but not often.

Very nice support chat

I have used it for quite a large group of websites and I usually use it.

All-in one chat engine for solo or team.

I love the simplicity and integration capibility. Just add the code to footer and thats it now my site has a live chat. Free forever helps me to try their service and it really good chat engine,

Avantages

I love the simple arrangement of it. Register login and start using the software. Just paste and use it any of your website. No need to validate and less hassle. I love the forever free plan for one persoion free chat enable. Lots of my customer just need one agent to use be used with their site. This just solve lots of my problem. Sometime app stops working but the app is simple and update fast. There is kind of delay to reply but it is not that much. Awesome and very good featured chat engine

Inconvénients

The chat is laggy and takes some time to update. The app when using with VPN is really takes time to show online and chat update.

Better Communication

If you need to implement chat, try Chatra first.

Avantages

Our company has struggled with communication (we're a bit outdated), but Chatra changed the game for us. Immediate responses, no hold time (for the phones), canned responses, and no neglected customers. We see the chats when they pop up and don't lose track of conversations. It's awesome!

Inconvénients

We haven't run into anything yet that's been a deal breaker. It's a great tool and we love it.

Best Chat App Around!

Chatra was a simple install and very easy to customize to match our theme. Best of all, it converts 99% of our (chat) visitors into customers. When a visitor can chat directly and instantly with us about a question, it's an opportunity for us to meet their needs in real time. They are more confident doing business with us because there is a level of trust they experience while speaking with someone directly. To be able to see what user is typing before they hit send, helps us to respond quickly and efficiently. We love the fact that it works just as well on mobile, and we can answer questions on the go! The personal service we receive from Yaakov is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Simple, beautiful, Love it

The best Live Chat Software I found so far! Told it it all my friends and I‘m using it in every project.

Avantages

I really like the modern look of the chat Chat Client and also the functionality and also the functionality convinces me. I have been looking for a good live chat for WordPress for a long time and Chatra is exactly what I was looking for. Also the Smartphone App enhances the whole project.

Inconvénients

The functionality of the free version is unfortunately limited to a minimum. But I can live with that. Chatra is still unbelievable.

Chatra Can Help Any Business Improve Their Customer Service

Overall Chatra has been a pleasant experience. I personally have not had to pay for this service so it may be different if you have to pay out of your own pocket to use it. You should compare with other software if you are not sure about Chatra, but you can try it for free if you go to their website.

Avantages

Chatra is simple to use and makes customer support very easy. If you want the customers visiting your website to have proper guidance, you should try Chatra. The capabilities of this software far exceed any other like it and you can get started for free! It's free to get started so the least you can do is check out their website.

Inconvénients

There are some services that you have to pay for but, like stated above, you can get started for free. Since Chatra has so many features, it can be a little overwhelming at first. But once you figure out how to navigate the software, it makes everything much easier.

Easy to use, good value

We've had a good experience thus far with Chatra - the product is easy to use and gets a fair amount of engagement on our website. Chatra's customer service reps are always available to help with questions. I like that I can answer on my laptop or phone, and that it remembers past conversations when someone returns to the website.

My two complaints are that they do not take AmEx, and that you cannot export a spreadsheet/etc. of the contacts and conversations you have on Chatra. However, I'm told that both are coming in the future.

Overall, good value.

If I'd want to upgrade to a paid plan, it has a lot of great functionalities and very cheap price

N/A . I'm very happy with it. If I were to say something, that the message sound it makes when someone talks to you, can't be changed, and it can be very annoying during night time

Tried Drift and other first before Chatra and I was blown away with the quality

We are using Chatra to easily communicate with the customers on Sprintbooks.co — we suggest various notebook layouts on the home page, but we then have a call to action to chat with us if they are still unsure which notebook would be best. Chatra ticks all the boxes for our sales pipeline.

Avantages

It's super simple and easy to use, without confusing dashboards and clutter or features you don't use.

Inconvénients

I literally can't think of anything I would change or do better.

Inconvénients

I wish there was a way for them to always include their email so you can respond. If they forget to include their email, you aren’t able to respond.

Thanks for the feedback, Cyndi! Please make sure the email field is "required", and also check the "Get offline messages only once the contact form is filled" option in the Chatra bot settings. In this case, visitors will not be able to proceed without leaving their email address.

It's pretty good!

Used it for a while, then switched to another tool...

Avantages

It's a pretty good tool for communicating with customers.

Inconvénients

The UI isn't as good as competitors, but it gets the job done. Sometime, I did not receive notifications that someone has sent me a message.

Awesome chat software for a small business!

Overall an impactful software that lets me manage customer inquiries or questions effectively.

Avantages

Navigating through the application is a breeze and fast. Integration with Shopify is a plus and this software is one of the only ones I use to communicate directly with my customers for my small clothing business.

Inconvénients

With the free version which I used up to a certain point, I wasn't able to change my online activity status.

Tested over Intercom and much cheaper!

Avantages

We tested this over Intercom and were wsurprised to love it so much considering I love Intercom. This is cheaper too and we get more customer engagement c. You can have a chat with more than 1 person which is nice and we got great feedback from the customers, seems like they really like it.

Inconvénients

Our sales didn't go up as much as we wanted but that was also expectedat the beginning...

A great chat interface

Great customer service tool

In a world of constant gratification and customer is king mentality, this product allows a company to reply, attend to, and problem solve immediately.

Avantages

An online messenger service that keeps a company in close contact with their customers can only create a better team feeling and overall customer satisfaction.

Inconvénients

I have only been using this product for a few short months and only have good things to say about my use with the tool.

Great app and great customer support

Old messages

Good surprise!

Avantages

All works very well.
It was a really good surprise. I disn’t know that I could have our chat in my iphone.

Inconvénients

When we receive an old message from somebody, and we are closed in that moment. There is no way to reach that potential customer again.
Could you request his email or say something like “if you close this window, the responsible will not be able to reach you again. We recommend to leave that open”

Hi Luis, thanks for the feedback! If a visitor sends you a message when you are offline, our Chatra bot should pop up and ask their email address. And to make sure they don't skip the contact form and stay anonymous, you can check the "Get offline messages only once the contact form is filled" option in the Chatra bot settings. However, I'm not sure what you mean by old messages. Could you send us more information to [email protected]?

It's a wonderful tool to connect with customers!

Avantages

Chatra provides a way to connect with customers and is easy for both of us to use. I can provide feedback for their questions and concerns in real time and it allows our relationship to grow even further. When I am unavailable, there is a way for my messages to be waiting for me.

This has reduced customer cancellations by 25%!!!

Customer retention increased, our representatives love it, and our customers love it. Chatra is awesome, and when we have any issues, their support team is responsive and helpful.

Avantages

Chatra is amazing. Easy to use, responsive customer service, great design and functionality. Our customers rave about Chatra, and since implementing it last year, we have had a 25% drop in cancellations! Our customers find it easier than ever to get help with our programs.

Inconvénients

No real cons about Chatra... Maybe one improvement would be allowing our reps to have a chat section, to communicate with one another separate from the customer chats.

Chatra helped improve my site via customers feedback

Avantages

There was a lot I could do on one of my website after installing Chatra, helped improve my site via customers feedback hence I was able to gather leads and improve sales too.

Inconvénients

The automated messaging function was quite difficult for me at first, but with time I got to understand it.

Simple and easy to use!

Avantages

I love how easy it is for my customers to use and it’s basic features. I love that I can respond to the customer right from my email or the app instantly. It allows me to assist my customers right when they need me. I love this app!

Inconvénients

Really it comes down to the upgraded features. As much as I would love to use them, I can’t afford the monthly plan for the next upgrade.

Chatra is a great way to connect with clients in real time

Avantages

I like that this software allows me to communicate with my clients in customers in real time, without having to rely on phone calls or email.

Inconvénients

Occasionally it feels like there may be a slight delay between communications, like a bit of a lag. This is minor and doesn't negatively impact my experience.

good software

the software has geo targeting and proactive chat. For my business is very importan offline form of the chatra

Avantages

is fully functional, the aplication is very good, you can sends phone alerts when the converstation is started, works very fast.

Inconvénients

i would like to test the version full to check all the features. i don´t access to the version full.

Easy to implement, works great

Avantages

I first implemented it on my own site and then helped a client of ours get it set up at their site. It was super easy to get it configured to start showing up. The software had the key points that I and my clients were looking for: attractive pricing, dependable, easy configuration, memorized responses, etc. I particularly like being able to see what the client is typing before they are done so I can begin my response. Oh, and I like that phone app so I can response to customer chats from my phone when I'm not at the office.

Inconvénients

I can't really think of anything I don't like about the software, but it's been quite a while since we implemented it.

Chatra Review

We use the free version - it is great for what we need. It would really help if we could make it so that each customer has to leave some contact details when leaving a message when we are set to away as it means some customers don't get answered if they don't come back to the website which could result in missing a sale.

Avantages

Easy to use and manage the site and chats.

Inconvénients

Not able to contact people if they don't leave any details and they may not come back to the site.

Thank you for the feedback, Karly! Have you tried checking "Get offline messages only once the form is filled' option in the Pre-chat form settings? This way you can avoid anonymous messages.

awesome source for companies!

I will always use this application and refer it to anyone who'll listen!

Avantages

This a new tool I've been idolizing it is everything i need for my website to help customers navigate threw it live if there having troubles.

Inconvénients

No downsides for me i honestly can say that I've gotten zero problems with this software i love love love it.

Chat is a competitive market

Great chat option, but not an option I'd switch to from my current chat options.

Avantages

Good chat option. Tried it out to see if they brought anything new to the table. Chat is competitive.

Inconvénients

Not anything special enough to attract me away from Intercom (current chat option) or LiveChat (previous chat option)

great for instant communication with customers

Excellent app, paid for itself within a couple of days. Helping customers through checkout in particular is great. Also seeing what they are typing before they send helps save time in replying, their location is visible - also very helpful in anticipating questions.

Switched from another chat service to Chatra due mainly to its deep integration with Help Scout - chats and offline messages are added into Help Scout as new support tickets, giving us a full picture of customer support.

So far we're loving Chatra! With native desktop and mobile apps, our team is able to help customers with their orders or product enquiries anywhere. Probably my most valuable app.

Quick and easy access for my clients to get information or book an appointment. When offline they can send an email.

Nifty app

Great, love it. I always recommend it.

Avantages

Love Chatra, can chat in real time with customers on my website from my iPhone. I was on the beach in Australia and could instruct customers how to get to my shop in Germany.

Inconvénients

I haven‘t found one yet, other than the price. For a small operation like mine with a very low monthly income i find the app too expensive for the pro version.

Great Live Chat Product

I installed Chatra during the holiday season last year and it was very helpful during that time. We continue to use the product on a daily basis. The free trial of the premium service was a very nice feature too. The customer service is great.

It was super easy to install and only took a few minutes to install.

No-nonsense hassle-free chat

I can respond to over 50 queries daily in under 10 minutes with Chatra which really helps in time management.

Avantages

Simple UI: Categorization of chats is simple and effective.
Effective UX: Any lay-man can use Chatra after ~30 minutes of training.

Inconvénients

A few features can be added more in the free trial version. Especially the option of saved/quick replies.

Easy to Integrate

I have integrated in my NGO site and its really helping me to raise fund and all kind of activities.

Avantages

I liked the integration process. I never expected it would be that much easy. I m happily using it.

Inconvénients

It takes much time to start the software once we open. It really frustrating sometimes. It also needs fast internet to run. These are some cons.

It is not yet complete and has potential.

Avantages

The intuitive and easy to understand chat panel and widget is quite good.

Inconvénients

It does not seem as if the automation's and few features are fully completed, Chatra seems like an beta version of an chat app with a lot of potential

Great for engagement & customer service.

I have been very pleased with Chatra. I started using it about 6 months ago and have found that it increases engagement both on my public facing site and within my web application. It couldn't have been easier to implement, just a couple lines of cope & pasted code, and is super simple to use there after. The design is elegant and simple. Really enjoy having the iOS app as well so I can provide service from any location where I have coverage or wifi.

Easy to use, easy to implement, easy to customize. iOS app allows for service & support from any location.

Inconvénients

I honestly haven't encountered any.

Streamlines Business!

Avantages

I love being directly connected to customers. I love that they can get an answer immediately without having to call. I especially love that you can see what the customer is typing before they send it.

Inconvénients

I don't care for the fact that they can enter Chatra without giving us any of their information, something, even just a name and an email should be required.

My Chatra Review

Customers are able to contact me 24/7, when I'm online we instantly chat, if I'm off I receive their message via email and can respond quickly.

Avantages

It's easy to setup and use. Customization so it can fit in your store's theme is easy to get done as well.

Inconvénients

That I have to open it each time manually instead of it just opening when I login to my store.
