Revolutionized the application process with our clients

This lets us become efficient with our clients digitally.

Avantages

I like most, the process of Indio taking a difficult to read and understand application, and putting it into paragraph form to the client can more reasonably properly complete it.

Inconvénients

I have to add multiple submissions to get multiple Property forms, where I'd just like to have say 3 Property forms in one submission. Every time I add a second form, it replaces the first.

Indio - Insurance Apps are Easy!

Indio has made my job a lot easier and has allowed for much smoother renewals in general!

Avantages

I like how easily I am able to find an application for my clients to fill out. Before Indio, you had to search through tons of files and find the proper app, now they are all in one spot and can be sent to the client in seconds.

Inconvénients

I don't like the access levels for the client. it is confusing to me who can see what when I give someone full access versus partial access.

Consistency, Ease of use

Avantages

Ease of use. Parts of the program are intuitive. The carry over of the information in the renewal year.

Inconvénients

I do not like the way the Schedules and the SOVs are formatted. Sometimes, when the client has made changes after submitting a schedule, it is not clear at my end what changes have been made or if the changes made are final. It is not intuitive to the client that they need to hit the "Submit" button.

It would be nice if there is a way in which the changes that are made on Indio forms and information that is updated - once verified as correct - are able to be updated in the system (AMS/EPIC).

Indio is awesome

Less paper (paperless), signatures, submissions are easier to compile.

Avantages

The marketing capabilities are off the chart. Very quick digitizing documents, ease of use. Support is very helpful and available. I really like it.

Inconvénients

Moving documents around in the system could be better. A little cumbersome with document changes while being digitized.

Indio Review

Avantages

That the client can automatically sign documents without having to print and then scan/fax/mail to us.

Inconvénients

That we are unable to use our original spreadsheets (mapping). Having to copy/paste all of our current information is very time consuming and leaves room for error.

Avantages

Absolutely nothing it’s a complete waste

Inconvénients

Applications take 10 days to upload? Then when they are uploaded all numbers to questions are gone, some wording differs and you cannot see what was loaded for the same document previously, but they want you to click “Verified” to a blank document. Complete garbage.

Not perfect, but a huge improvement

Avantages

I love the simple and intuitive UI. IndioSign is a great feature. Almost every client that uses Indio raves about it to us!

Inconvénients

I wish that Indio would pull completed Acords from Epic. I would also like to see the ability to clear notification from the dashboard.

Avantages

I have a quicker response time from insureds when I send applications via Indio. Sometimes I get the renewal apps back within minutes depending on the individual.

Inconvénients

Nothing, so far it's worked out really well. The only issue was in the beginning adding our Agency specific forms. Occasionally our forms didn't match well with the software, but we found ways to work around it.

Great resource

Love that we can send these to the client and have the signed documents back shortly thereafter!

Avantages

I like that the client information flows over from the agency management system and the ease of dragging the document over to set up the signing process. I also like the 'alerts' we receive so that we know the client has signed the documents.

Inconvénients

At first it was confusing to navigate the site.

It has been awesome, it's nice to know each year at renewal that we will have the applications stored in Indio so we can use them to reference off of for the new application and that the information that was inputted the prior year will carry over to the new one if the questions are asked the same way.

Avantages

The supplemental applications; how easy it is to download them and complete them. It's very user friendly and our clients don't have any issues using it. It's self explanatory and requires them to sign it once completed which is great.

Inconvénients

How long it takes to get supplemental applications uploaded into Indio to be used.

Excellent Tool

I am still fairly new to the software, but it is preventing the repetitiveness of filling out Acords and supplements, which allows us to get accounts to market much faster.

Avantages

The biggest Pro is the overall streamlining of our information gathering and renewal process

The only downfall so far is the inability to create templates that can be assigned to clients

New Set Up Stage

Avantages

We are only in the new set up stage so clients have not been migrated and implementation started. I have logged in a few times to explore and review forms in the library. So far it appears the site will be user friendly. I am anxious to get my hands on it once our clients are in the system.

Decent Experience

Overall, it has been a good experience, but wish it was better to make up for the overall cost for the services.

The time our staff has saved by using digitized docs.

There were some docs that came back finished quickly, and others that took over a month; almost as if the doc request was forgotten or misplaced.

sometimes there are glitches

The support staff is always willing to check into the glitches or problems I'm dealing with- which is great!

Sometimes their are glitches. I wished the software was compatible with internet explorer & Microsoft edge. Some of my clients do not know what browser they are using & this gets confusing for them.

Great Experience Getting to Know Indio

Avantages

Easy to use ... clients like the experience and it allows us to keep their application for us, and avoid having it sent to other brokers for outside quotes

Inconvénients

Getting started is always a bit of a challenge in changing the way we collect and send information but once I got going, the speed of use increased and is not a burden anymore.

Everything is intuitive. It really helps streamline the application process by prefilling information from app to app. Very nice system for receiving electronic signatures as well.

Inconvénients

Occasionally I still run into applications that are not already a part of INDIO's collection. I usually don't have time to wait for it to get added.

It's hard to use at first but once you get a hang of it, it makes the job much easier.

Avantages

It is easy. Once you have one started, it is so quick and easy for future renewals for both agent and clients.

Inconvénients

There is nothing not to like. You can attach last year's application to use for reference. You get a notification of completed application when available.

Time Saver

Avantages

Indio has helped streamline the way we do business. I mainly use the e-signature feature, which helps me obtain signatures much quicker than before. It saves me time and that's invaluable.

Signing is easy

Avantages

It is so nice to now send more than one document in a single email. Indio makes my job of getting signatures so easy as we insure many people outside of our state.

There isn't really anything that I do not like. I work in personal lines insurance. Indio makes getting signatures so easy.

Use of Indio

Good system. Have not yet gone thru a renewal process, so don't know if it will make it easier or not. Always like to give the insured the previous year's application to look at for reference in answering questions.

Prefills information; alerts when application is completed by insured

Inconvénients

Having to wait when a form is not already in the system; not able to print out completed application without the client first having to sign/submit rather than just complete; delays quote process when sometimes have to wait for a signature

Inconvénients

It would be beneficial to be able to drag and drop multiple documents for esignature. It has been 3 weeks since we requested to add some carrier specific supplementals.

Implementing Indio

Adoption by staff is the only challenge we've had, and that's natural when introducing a new software.
Otherwise, Indio staff has been responsive and accommodating and very easy and pleasant to work with -

Avantages

The staff at Indio is incredibly helpful and responsive. We had many questions and really vettted many vendors, but by far their staff answered concerns and questions promptly and truthfully, so we decided to go with Indio.

Inconvénients

The first year where conversion to use is all done manually - selling "the change" to staff has been challenging.

Great Platform

Avantages

The software is fairly easy to use and help in getting those supplemental applications completed. I look forward to next year, when the information will already be there.
My favorite portion is how open customer service and the development team are. They take opinions and suggestions into consideration and implement them as quick as possible

Inconvénients

I wish the questions where numbered to match the form. That would make it easier to see if all the questions have been answered. Sometimes when I compare the previous form to the one I complete in Indio, I cannot find some of the questions.

Pros and Cons of Indio in my 6 month experience

In the 6 months I've have been using it I can see the benefits of the renewal process and filling out applications with the insured. I have only used e-signature once so far but really like how easy it is to use making the turn-around to get signed documents back much quicker.

Avantages

E-signature --ease of getting documents to clients with quick turn around time.
Selection of Supplemental Applications available.

Inconvénients

After I document for e-signatures has been sent to client you can't access it to view the email cover letter or resend if the insured might have deleted or can't find it. You have to reattach the files and start the process all over.

Timesaver!

LOVE the software and use it daily. Such a great resource to help streamline my workflow.

I love that it not only saves you time, but it saves your Insured's time by automating the application process and pre-filling various applications.

Inconvénients

For multiple applications, I wish that it could take all the requested information and create just ONE application so the Insured doesn't have to see we are using multiple applications on our end.

Great Product

sending multiple documents to sign.

Avantages

The ease of sending multiple attachments. Placing fields to sign etc is easy for the customer to complete on their end.

Inconvénients

A couple of functions could be reworded to be clearer.

Good Product

Going well so far.

Avantages

I like that you can drag and drop items for upload.

Inconvénients

Need to be able to use in word format, not just PDF. Word format would be helpful when a client needs to return items on their company letterhead.

Excellent Product/Software

Avantages

The ease of use, I can start a draft application and send to the client to finish.

Inconvénients

It can be a little confusing at first. Definitely take advantage of the training tools.

Easily send documents with Indio

Overall it has been very quick & easy to log into the program and send documents.
I am very happy with the process.

Avantages

It is very easy to upload documents to send to clients.

Inconvénients

So far I have not had any negative issues with the software.

LOVE INDIO!!!

Avantages

EVERYTHING!!!! It is so easy to use and extremely convenient.

Inconvénients

Not being able to use the same form multiple times under one submission without having to create multiple submissions just to use the same form.

Avantages

Client access capabilities are great, our clients love being able to view the documents we upload

Inconvénients

The software does not show the specific change that was made, it simply notifies you that it was changed

Have not used it long enough

Avantages

New user to the program. Have only started with a couple of accounts. Like able to enter client information easily. Locate apps.

Learning/remembering steps to find documents

Renewal Bliss

My insurance renewals use to take days or weeks to get all of the information gathered, with multiple emails back and forth with my client. Now using the Indio portal, the communication is much easier and quicker. Using this product I have been able to get my renewals completed in a day to a few days.

Avantages

How easy it makes it to gather renewal information and completed/signed applications. Really has made renewals easier and faster.

Inconvénients

The electronic signatures function is simple, but could use some more features. I think as the product keeps growing their will be added features and updates along the way.

Great Technology

Overall, Indio is great! Good customer support, all the forms I need, etc.

The software is very easy for clients and users to use.

Tech challenged people can find it difficult to get logged in sometimes.

Made my life easier

Avantages

Indio is very user friendly. You can navigate without any issues. The email follow ups help keep me moving forward.

Inconvénients

That I can not insert my own forms although that is a rare need
