I think that drag and drop features could be included to assign playlists to devices. At the moment it is quite awkward to configure the order of these. I would also review the options for naming lists or duplicating them, we have had occasions where the menu closes without any apparent indication.

It's really easy to upload and schedule content. The scheduling part is probably my favorite - it really helps with planning. We use it primarily as an announcement board for our customers, so we always want to be timely.

Inconvénients

It's hard to troubleshoot issues sometimes when it occasionally just stops working, but staff have always been incredibly helpful. I also wish there was a way I could preview how it will look on our specific device.

We recently expanded our use on TTV to not only monitor and control our media players at several thousand locations, but we also started using it for our touchscreen exam room devices. I love the versatility of the Telemetry platform.

I wish it retained the ability to toggle back and forth between the two different networks we use it for.

The versatility and ease of use is unparalleled. It simple to learn and administer. We tie all of our digital media to this product including our roadside marquees.

TelemetryTV takes care of all my needs for my school's digital signage. It is seamless and easy to implement, and secure. My district allows this product over the many other that it tends to block.

Canva used to have full support, but I can no longer create new Canva pages, and can only use the page I have previously produced.

We have three different school campuses. It is so easy for us to update all campuses from the comfort of one office. We also LOVE that it works with Canva.

Inconvénients

It would be a lot nicer if the animations with Canva would just sync over to Telemetry. Instead, we download it as a gif and then upload it. This is not a big deal, just an extra few steps.

Ease of use and deployment was super important to us, and Telemetry met all those needs.

I am tech savvy but not trained in any educational technology. However I am able to use this platform to display weekly calendar, events. weather in a welcoming way as people enter our school.

My only issue is that the more devices I stream to the more I have to pay.

It just works. We use this in almost 50 devices all around our campus and are expanding each year. The ease of use is amazing for all my team to work and make edits to all of our signs.

Using Telemetry we're able to share her story through picture at our Event Center. The Center can hold over 1800. so her story is told. [sensitive content hidden] was a teacher in our district who taught Kindergarten for over 42 years; almost in the same classroom;
Imagine the generations of students she taught. Telemetry TV gives us the tool to tell her story.

You do not have to purchase their hardware. It is very flexible. We use a Fire Stick, so it was a very affordable option for us as a church. It has a fairly intuitive interface. It was easy to install and set up. I can control what is playing on all of our TVs from home and change it on the fly. It's been a great option for us.

There is always a learning curve to learning a new system, but that's the only con I can think of.

Easy to implement and full control of multiple displays from one application. It works as promised, that's the most important thing. Adjusting content is fairly easy. As a result, the content is actually adjusted weekly and we always show reliable information. Result? a lot of positive feedback from visitors and employees about the content on our welcome screens.

Use of HTML formating would be nice to get full control of text elements. Date/time scheduler is not realy handy, could be done better. Having said that, nothing to worry about!

I like that you don't need a on premises server, only an app to install on your device and you are ready to share contents. Content are update instantly and you can manage everything , you just need to have an internet access.

Sometimes PC struggles to manage to play content (looks like required more disk speed or bandwidth), not all the content found on web (youtube or other streaming source) works well. Unfortunately i cannot use it inside our local network (maybe reading local power bi content) for company security policies

Very Easy to Use! Lots of Options to enhance our daily communications. Being in an Elementary/Middle School situation, the kids love the visual impact as they pass by each day.

The ease of deployment and flexibility of devices to utilize was a huge sell. It was extremely easy to test with the free single license and the ability to run on said devices to see if it was a good fit. No need to wait for demo hardware. While an online demo was nice, being able to dive into the system helped make a quick decision in our limited project timeframe.

Inconvénients

There is room for improvement with slide transitions where they are too jarring, e.g. a crossfade will fade to a background but not the next slide, then the next slide just appears. Really affects a large number of the selection which is a tough sell. There is no customization on transition timings and they all seem a bit fast.
Android support was touted as a primary preferred platform, but any of the preferred devices (and we tested many) all failed to perform well over 24hours to the point of failure. Hoping that gets improved, but Windows 10 devices are working great!

We originally were going to go with the Tightrope Systems Carousel product, since we had internal familiarity and had deployed that in the past, but after having hands-on opportunities and with costs seeming to go higher for hardware/server/licensing on other products, Tightrope really stood out. Pleasantly surprised.

TelemetryTV is constantly improving. They continuously release new features, enhancements and fixes for their software. The solution is fully cloud based, so these new features are delivered in real time. The product was great when I first started using it, but it has improved dramatically over the 14 months. You're not just paying for what the product is today, but you're investing into something that will be improved over time. That gives me more confidence as I continue to put time into the product. I don't feel like I'm poised to outgrow this solution.

TelemetryTV has a very short learning curve. It is easy to use, change and adapt. I appreciate the fact that you can quickly use the simple features, but there is a huge amount of flexibility and options that you can grow into as you move forward.

When I first started with the product, I had a few issues getting things going. There are so many options for devices and slide design that I wasn't really sure where to get started. What really helped me get over the top was reaching out to support and the extensive help library I found.

Powerpoint + page choice
Google Slide ... should be possible not to share in public (but with an account)
Read Excel or sheet file to show dynamic screen.
Exemple : timetable for a train, the plateform number could be changed by reading an sheet file
Other exemple : a list of anniversary in a excel file or a database to show the birthday of the collegues

The cloud based nature of the platform allows the users such ease in producing digital signage without any limitations to a single work station with special software installed.

After experiencing reliability issues and poor support with our existing Digital Signage solution, I decided it was time to invest in something different. After trialling a couple of solutions I came across Telemetry TV, I am so glad I did! Telemetry TV is very simple to setup, easy to administrate and allows you to deploy rich content to your screens in no time. I really like being able to see snapshots of what my screens are doing in real-time, overrides, the multitude of app integrations and most of all the instantaneous screen updates once a playlist is updated.

I love this product but TelemetryTV please create an Admin app for turning on overrides and making changes on the go.

TelemetryTV makes it easy to set up and deploy digital signage across our campus. Thanks to TelemetryTV my team and co-workers have been able to spread important transportation information and news while providing welcoming signage. The customer service is quick to respond and the various forums provide helpful information. Plus the development team listens to user suggestions and provides regular updates.

I wish the updates provided detailed informatio on what was updated or removed. Currently, the updates only alert users of the availability of an update but provide no other information.

Ease of use, right out of the box. You get a proper look-n-feel from the trial, and although there is a learning curve the UI/X is friendly and intuitive. Able to project rolling production/shipping/receiving schedules and seemingly limitless other content using an extensive apps library. Non-proprietary broadcast appliance is essentially a miniaturized computer that can be easily upgraded or repurposed for other uses on our factory floor. EXCELLENT customer service.

Inconvénients

Workarounds for broadcasting Teams/Zoom calls, but not yet natively supported. It will be awesome if the appliance can interface with the TV itself e.g. turn it on and off - that will truly make the platform a one-stop shop.

The ease of use of this product is key - there is no barrier to creating quick content for our team. If we think of something, 3 minutes later it's up on our screens.
