L'ergonomie est un peu vieillotte. La bibliothèque de modèle est bien fournie mais pas très jolie !

Avantages

Being able to access it from anywhere I can sign in and to have it update in real time makes this app really great. It eliminates emailing while collaborating because you are "with" everyone.

Inconvénients

When Microsoft changes the functions, you have no choice but to adapt. It's cloud based so you have to live with that to get the other benefits.

I really like how easy this tool is to use, you don't need to be super techy to learn how to use this tool quickly. I train a lot of people with a wide range of different roles in our org and this has been a tool i am heavily dependent on. Training for people especially visual learners have been proven effective with the help of Whiteboard.

Inconvénients

There is nothing to not like. It's free to use.

Avantages

The core features are competently executed--it's mind-numbingly easy to create a new whiteboard, and there is no confusion possible as to what the (very few) available tools in the toolbar do.

Inconvénients

The list of missing features is extraordinarily long, so I'll focus on the most glaring omissions and limitations. The tool palette is quite limited; while at first glance it appears there are four different "pens," they are in fact just four copies of the same pen, all of which can be configured only minimally (width, from "1" to "6," and your choice of 15 colors). There is a highlighter tool which has similar configuration limitations and doesn't even include opacity adjustment. The eraser tool is overzealous; one errant click and giant portions of your diagram vanish. The text tool has one pre-set "handwriting" type font that I find to be practically illegible; this can't be changed. There is also a redundant "note" tool that mimics Post-It notes, but it is unclear what the purpose of these notes is intended to be, since there is no visibility control toggle, etc. The drawing experience is awful as well; the interface automatically attempts to "smooth" your drawings (you can't disable this either!), meaning that any fine details that you draw that Whiteboard interprets as errors are obliterated.

It's best to be paired with colleagues and friends to share our ideas and for weekly meeting with team. We can share our understanding and progress in our project in an easy way that I think writing is more clear way of description.The software allows multiple users to draw and write on the same whiteboard simultaneously and perfect for training session and team meeting.

Sometimes drawing with mouse is difficult compared to tab and I sometimes face issue with inserting the icons and resize the options.

This product is wickedly AMAZING. Being able to share your board in real time and have it update for the other employees as fast as it does is very impressive. The amount of functions it has is also very impressive.

Main complaint. Low choice for colors. Come on, its 2023 we should be able to select a color wheel or something to broaden the color choices for coloring and stuff.

With virtual classes this tool has become indispensable, it is an interactive whiteboard, and it may sound very simple, but there is a lot of work on the proper functioning of this tool. Integration with the entire Office ecosystem is great, especially with Microsoft Teams. For collaborative work it's great, the whiteboard works fast, it has a lot of options to customize writing and many different users can write at the same time. Whiteboard is a tool that is here to stay because it is part of the present and future of virtual collaborative work.

I have not had any failures with Microsoft Whiteboard, everything works correctly, maybe sometimes in meetings it can slow down, but it is normal when you deal with meetings with many users, as was my case.

Avantages

I have a brand new HP Spectre (1TB) that comes with a digital pen and MS Whiteboard came with the device. I'm pretty tech savvy and the interface is VERY simple (for me too simple) - so if you want it just for scribbling notes during a meeting or sketching out something to illustrate a thought, fine. It can do that. There are different basic colors, a rainbow color, and two pen tips, an eraser, basic shapes. You can invite others to collab on your board (but honestly it didn't make it that far for me due to performance issues). The lasso shape is useful to separate items layered on top as there doesn't seem to be a "layers" option.

Ah, mostly everything. This is not drawing software. This is literally a digital whiteboard, so I got frustrated quickly with it wishing it could do more. When trying to export as an image, it only allows .png and. svg, and neither format worked in any program after exporting. I'd have been fine with the simple tools, but then it started lagging. For every. single. edit. A quick search shows that this is common for the program when you are not plugged in, even if you are full battery. So it's basic, but also a power hog. It didn't improve after plugging in though. It got to the point where I had to completely shut down the program and reboot because it just kept freezing. I'd say if you are contemplating using this, don't. Your IT team will thank you.

Avantages

The sharing and integration across M365 is very strong - they have done great work providing a seamless experience across the web, app, and in-meeting experience in Teams. Good, basic whiteboard functionality for planning, brainstorming, mapping, etc.

Inconvénients

The features are pretty bare-bones and the UX can be a bit counter-intuitive at times. Compared to e.g. Miro, there is a LOT of room for improvement (e.g. huge text limitations - single font, with no formatting options, lack of shapes and diagramming objects, etc.).

We used with an actual smartboard and had the ability to draw on the screen and automatically save presentations and brainstorming sessions to Office 365.

Inconvénients

Learning curve to a little bit as well as setting everything up with the actual smartboard.
