Overall, DataForSEO software provided satisfactory results for my needs. However, what I liked least was the lack of customer service and technical support. There were several occasions where I had difficulty navigating the system or executing a specific task, but there was no means of having an expert answer any questions I had about the features or how to use them. Additionally, customer service was not great when it came to resolving issues from past usage; in these cases I had to manually seek out the solution online rather than interrogate trained professionals in the field.

As a creator of SEO software, we are using DataForSEO in our daily routine for different cases. To make it more cost effective, they have different types of services (live/queue/slow queue) - they are adding new services every quarter. I'm very excited for backlink index.

Their pricing module was quite complex in the previous API version (v2) but they have fixed the problem by following v3 API. The only parameter is the credit that we pay for.

The quality of the data is very good and at a price that allows us to scale our business affordably. Their customer support is always very reactive meaning we only have to wait less than 30 seconds for a response, any day of the week at any time!

DataForSEO has a great analysis tool, an easy on the eyes dashboard. The keyword research tools have a great deal in part of my business and are very helpful. The software also has keyword rank tracking which is also a great feature.

The website might be a bit slow at times because of the large amount of data on it but other than that all is good.

DataForSEO offers high quality APIs for Google ranking checks, keyword and competitor data. The API documentations is very readable and comprehensive. Best of all, everything works as advertised. The customer support is quick and helpful.

Inconvénients

The competitor data API could return more results and it's a bit expensive. Don't we all wish the pricing was more affordable?

Avantages

We like that the data seems to come directly from AdWords API. Coverage is great.

Keywords that are unavailable in other static databases can return results when it comes to DataForSEO. It almost feels like we were calling AdWords API directly.

Inconvénients

Even though there are documentation on line, the web page is a bit sluggish and slow. Also, there is a lack of documentation when it comes to simply making a CURL call to the REST API. We didn't want to use the libraries/clients provided. It took a while, but we eventually figured out how to hit the REST API with simple curl (without DataForSEO libraries/clients).
