Maintainx helped us lower or down times

It has been great they are super quick to respond, and even recently reached out via zoom to discuss how our implementation has been and if we had any questions

Avantages

All of maintainx features are very thought out when they are made! They listen to feedback and are quick to respond to questions and concerns! My favorite feature is the asset tracking, so I can keep tabs on what equipment is having a lot of breakdowns, and I never have to go searching for serial numbers because you can save them all in maintainx

Inconvénients

The notification system is a bit plain, wish I had the choice of what I want to be notified about,

Preventive maintenance review

Everything goes pretty well and flows great. We are able to use it to keep track of the data.

Avantages

It is easy to find work orders and arrange them in the order that thy need to be in.

Inconvénients

The reacuring dates of the work order are set to the original date instead of the date of finishing it.

Simple, Impactful, Reliable

Easy, Innovative, & Managable

From the sales pitch to today, the MaintainX team has been by our side and continuously helping us use the app better and to it's fullest potential. They helped me be realistic in rolling out the features in the app slowly and we are almost to the point of using all the features.

Avantages

MaintainX has helped us to track our repairs and preventative maintenance to the point that is miles beyond where we were. We knew we had some months where we spent a lot on repairing equipment but we could never look back and see where that money was going. Being able to track our expenses down to each piece of equipment has helped with how the team stewards our equipment by leaps and bounds.

Inconvénients

Integrating and changing our processes was the most difficult thing about this. However, the support staff at MaintainX were integral in assisting with this and giving tips about improving the buy-in process of key leaders. They even hosted webinars where they were able to show our team

This is a great product

I think it's a great product and all the years ive been a mechanic and like i said before i havent used all of them . it's a lot easier to use the Navigator it has not had any glitches and issues like we had but other complete management software I'm very impressed with this product and I'll be strongly recommended

Only thing I really it takes pictures sometimes as you're doing inventory and doing the procedure of work and I don't like sometimes how you have to modified things in order for the B work correctly even with modifications and I don't like the fact that you can upload videos nothing could be cool if it would integrate like you can add your card on file so that you can keep track of expenses and also track mileage as you started work

The CMMS that improves the maintenance effectiveness

Before Maintainx we used to use a simple Access file, almost useless. It is much easier than maintenance module of common ERP. After a few weeks after we start both the requestor (production) and user (maintenance staff) were very satisfied. The MaintainX staff is always supportive.

Avantages

It is very user friendly from desktop and mobile. It's ready to use and doesn't need long time for set-up. Easy to integrate with ERP and other tool.

Inconvénients

The way an expired due date for an acitivity is shown should be improved

Why I Use MaintainX

the best benefit on MaintainX for me is keeping up with what needs to be done, we have 37 locations over two states and it helps me stay informed and prioritize deployment of assets

Avantages

I mainly use MaintainX for the field supervisors to be able to request maintenance and to track and schedule maintenance of equipment and starting to use it to schedule and track preventative maintenance

Inconvénients

can't really think of anything i don't like at this moment except that it's hard to get employees to use it as designed

A Great Tool to have

Avantages

work order creation, the online help as needed, the ability to add to use different parts of this system almost seamlessly with time & cost tracking inventory make up being able to edit assets to the individual list of parts associated to that asset for how's that for easy?

Inconvénients

This app covers all of our basis of use & it is open to a lot more that I haven't started using yet.

Needs a little improvement.

Definitely a positive for our business

Avantages

The way we report maintenance jobs is very efficient and easy to use. And the simple breakdown of job status you can review progression.

Inconvénients

The crashing of the mobile app is the only con I have. I went into detail review the mobile app in the questionnaire. Essentially it slows and stops while entering Descriptions then you have to close the app and restart it.

Overall this has made our business process much simpler and has given us a much more professional look. The reviews are easily review and can embed to your website. I am a HUGE fan of this program.

Inconvénients

Integration with quick books online could be improved with tax rates and discounts being made their own line items instead of at the bottom like QB.

Smart helper

I like it. More training would be nice. I believe it should be something that maintenance tracking should be more organized. Parts list is vag

Fantastic CMMS at an affordable price

Everyone is very friendly and happy to help. The software is also very easy to use.

MaintainX Helps with our maintenance department

It has been great.

It made is so much easier to track service calls and the outcomes. We needed something that would work at the admin level, tech level, and store manager level. This fit our needs perfectly.

Great Program.

Customer service has be great. very responsive very helpful.

I use this to keep track of everything. Vehicle maintenance, building maintenance, assets, preventative maintenance, parts/ products inventory...

There are so many great things about this product that help me keep my day flowing.

Inconvénients

the parts inventory is great for keeping an idea of what is on hand, but it would be great for the other employees with restricted accounts to be able to scan out parts when being used. We use this a lot to keep track of animal food inventory and the feeders wish they could just quickly scan the QR code of the product and punch in how many they are using.

Warehousing at it's finest

We have changed how we manage our inventory as well as evolved a way to track our goods transferred from our warehouse to our sites. Overall, the software is great for anyone that needs a mostly easy to use software to ensure accuracy on work orders, and parts tracking.

Avantages

The software allows for a simple solution to keeping track of inventory, even remotely! Using QR Codes within the software allows for my colleagues to ensure accuracy when they take items out of the inventory in our warehouse. Furthermore, it allows to track where items go, with photographic accountability as well.

Inconvénients

The software can feel a bit clunky and unfinished when using an Android device. It does take a bit of getting used to in order to navigate quickly and efficiently within the app.

Overall Experience

Great software that helps us keep track of work orders

Initial onboarding with our rep was awesome. Questions via chat or email get answered VERY quickly!

Avantages

The app keeps our guys on task and is great for our work order tracking. It also keeps us in compliance for inspections. Love that they are all tracked and signed digitally.

Inconvénients

Took some time to get buyin from the guy, but once they learned the software everyone got on board.

Easy to use

Amazing support from the MX team has given us insight into our team capacity and increased our throughput of jobs, all through this single program. Since implementation, there hasn't been any job that has been forgotten which has increased trust in our organisation.

Avantages

Straightforward to implement and easily scalable. Software is laid out logically with features easy to use. Filter buttons are simple and quick, with options to save current filters.

Inconvénients

It's not possible to create a job 'sequence'. If using the work order function as a task list with multiple tasks, other than giving them High/Med/Low priority, it's not possible to show that specific jobs have to be completed before a different task. In the app, there is not a 'sort by' function for work orders in calendar view.

Use of MaintainX in hospitality

Operation is more efficient, work time has decreased considerably, and we have better control on past, current, and future work orders.

It is really easy to use, and easy to learn. It has plenty of useful features and tools. Our staff got used to it really quickly, and it has an amazing filter system that lets you see custom Work Orders according to your role in the company

Huge amount of functionality

Huge amount of functionality!! Incredibly useful tool for managing our maintenance and general tasks. Although designed for repairs and maintenance we also use it to assign administrative jobs to members of staff or teams. MaintainX gives us a full overview of what is outstanding, who is working on what and the status of every task!

MaintainX is a useful tool

It is a good value for the price we pay. Great product for very reasonable prices.

MaintainX is very easy to use. It helps track all the work we do and we no longer have to keep as many paper records on file.

Inventory Management

It has been a wonderful program to use and implement internally

Avantages

I enjoy the user-friendly platform that it offers and the simplicity behind setting it uyp;

Inconvénients

I would love a feature that allows you to assign different quantities of inventory at different locations.

Good option!

Avantages

Very easy to set up and use. Other systems are difficult to setup without help but not MaintainX. They are upgrading new features very often

Inconvénients

Very slow to add pictures on comments, one by one. In general terms not many thing I would like them to change or improve

Absolutely the best tool for maintenance

With a 200+ acre campus and multiple buildings this is not only become an essential tool, but the most effective tool in keeping everything running smoothly.

Avantages

The ease of creating, assigning, and completing work orders.

Inconvénients

I have yet to find a feature I don't care for. We don't use the timer feature, but other than that it's a great tool.

Helpful and intuitive

Avantages

I like being able to manage my work orders in order of priority. The ability to have notes and attachments linked to my assets during and after PMs. Being able to have a dedicated line of communication for on going maintenance.

Inconvénients

So far for my application I have found no cons.

Great asset for sucess

Great . Ya all need to have some training with it . I've been using it 7 months and am just learning it

It will freeze up once in awhile in my old phone . It takes up alot of space and ram it seems like .

Good Product

Overall we are very happy with the software. It really helped us as we were writing all job in a call book and trying to keep track that way. This is much easier you see everything that hasn't been done yet and you can prioritize the urgency of the call.

Avantages

Very user friendly, you can assign jobs to technicians, you can set that technicians only see jobs assigned to them. Separate column for to do and done. You can clearly see which job is in progress. Nice filters. You can prioritize calls.

Inconvénients

There should be another option added for parts on order that way we would know which job we are waiting for parts.

My right hand

The wasting time having to call each team member and discuss the issue and when it's stated and then when it's finished. I get notifications of all that without really having to micro manage

Avantages

It's very user-friendly and all time communication without actually having to interupt my team for an update

Inconvénients

I wish it had GPS capabilities so I could use the app and find my teams location in one spot.
