Fantastic automation for drip email campaigns, very simple to use. At the basic level it is a fantastic tool for small businesses to build proper email marketing campaigns using automation.

Inconvénients

There is nothing in particular that I truly dislike about this product.

I'll admit I am a little new to this and so it was very easy to use for a first timer and I love the templates it offers.

Inconvénients

It can get a little pricey for basic features. The customization can also be improved for the price given.

Not sure how I feel about the long term viability of email in general. Lots of clients want to have me text them vs. email. But the product works well enough!

Man kann Nutzerinnen nicht von einer Liste in eine andere kopieren. Die Formulare zur Einbettung in die Website sollte man deutlich cleaner vom Code gestalten.

I feel like I've tested nearly all of the email marketing software out there and Campaign Monitor is easily one of the best options out there. Great UI/UX, easy to use, and lots of integrations and templates. Highly recommended!

Inconvénients

Getting used to the software was really the only small issue some of our team ran into. I was pretty used to Mailchimp and SendGrid so getting used to this wasn't too much of an issue. There is also lots of online tutorials and they have quality customer services as well.

Campaign Monitor is incredibly easy to use. From importing and managing addresses to designing the emails themselves, it makes everything as easy as it should be. In fact it has been so easy I felt like I must have missed something when running our first campaign. Fortunately I didn't.

You can get up and running in a matter of minutes.

I'd love for there to be more templates for the emails.

The focus on great user experience and effective design throughout the backend is second to none. It actually makes using Campaign Monitor a pleasure to use.

Off the top of my head - nothing! Possibly, during the transition to the new templating system a few years back, it took a little while to get used to it. But that's more a user error. Now I'm so pleased they changed things up.

Campaign Monitor is great for creating e-mail marketing campaigns, but the ability to test and preview and the documentation for best practices is what I like the most about this service.

I really like this service, but they could offer a free plan like MailChimp does (which is pretty robust in fact).

They have some great features within their system like social sharing buttons in campaigns, an easy to use point-and-click editor, and nice analytics.

Though, it lacks though compared to other email automation services such as Infusionsoft or Hubspot.

Simple to use templates for any kind of email campaign make starting a business so much easier. I spent tons of time trying to create my own from 'free' templates but once I started messing around with apps with which I wasn't familiar it took time I didn't have. At this point in time all I want is a generic template later on I may customize.

On the template it wasn't exactly clear how to insert a logo that included a picture with text if the logo wasn't print ready.

The software is classy, excellent looking, has great analytics, is very reasonable, is easy to set up and manage AND if there is any trouble, CampaignMonitor has an outstanding customer service team. We have been using CM for several years now and from the first newsletter we sent out we were impressed.

There is nothing I dislike. The software is easy to use.

Although testing on the likes of litmus is great, Campaign monitor gives the ability to test emails EXACTLY. This has been excellent for development and my learning about email code

Inconvénients

None come to mind, this has been quite easy to use and navigate and has helped with the amending and checking of emails. I'm not a QA expert though so feel I can't comment completely on this.

It's pricing is really reasonable. Since I had to juggle around a couple of mailing systems during last years, I was able to get an overview and compare it with competitors. At CampaignMonitor you really get your value in money even if it's simple solution.

Inconvénients

It does not give you a lot of options to play with - so if you want to add some conditions etc you'll find yourself looking for other solution. Reporting CM providers is too simple and send over as graphic image with not many options to narrow it down.

You can easily make a good looking email in a very short amount of time. The features make it very easy to create something.

Building and maintaining email distribution lists isn't the best feature I've seen. It's also cumbersome at times to go through past emails sent.

Super easy to use and there are a ton of templates to build off of. Stats are also easy to read and report off of.

Intuitie UI, Easy to onboard & setup, Ubercool email editor makes this tool really stand out amongst competition. Support and pricing is really good and are at a different level.

Campaign Monitor is a really great app, it does everything it promises and has a ton of variety in layout for emails, buttons, links and everything you would need to make a great campaign email! It organizes our lists very well and is definitely one of the better solutions out there!

Inconvénients

The thing I would like to see improved is the interface. It is a bit difficult to understand and really not very intuitive. Once you have a grasp on it though, you can manage!

It has some nice built in engagement segments (wish they were customizeable), and a decent set of basic integration capabilities. For the price, it does ok.

The custom HTML email editing is a pain, you can't actually edit the HTML in the platform, so you've got to constantly upload, test, and re-upload changes.

The built in forms are extremely basic, and it's workflows could use a bit of modernization.

Each stage outlines exactly what is required before you launch a campaign which is a great help when smashing out campaign after campaign. The HTML editor that converts CSS inline is also very useful. Currently use if for all my larger clients.

Inconvénients

A prettier UI would be a benefit. Mailchimp has got this bang on. Campaign Monitor feels a lot more stripped back (not a bad thing, just a personal preference)

It is easier (than Mailchimp) to build templates and it's advanced enough to create customizable templates. One can generally tell if an email was made in Mailchimp because the UI is so basic. One can't tell if they made it in Campaign Monitor because you can make a template look very unique, advance and sleek. I also like their advanced personalization features such as automating dynamic content into an email based on segmentation.

Inconvénients

It is more pricey than other services. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner with a low budget. Campaign Monitor could be an overkill if you're just starting out. But Campaign Monitor is something you would want to eventually progress to.

The data that CM is able to extract is pretty elaborate. Helps seeing the performance of campaigns and how to plan them better.

I've been using Campaign Monitor for two years already. It's efficient, great for tracking and it's not fully integrated in our email marketing strategy.
It's simple and straight-forward and compared to other similar platforms, it's great value for money.

Some other platforms are more competitive on pricing, but i always found that Campaign Monitor was my preferred email marketing platform.

I absolutely adore their professional templates, I guess it is around 50 of them and it is way more than I have seen anywhere else. They look great and are huge time savers. I also liked their dahsboard - it is very easy to use you just need to drag and drop elements you chose.

Sorry guys, but you have no free trial! How come? You were lucky my company was using this software before I joined them, otherwise I would never choose a software without trying it out first...

This product does allow you to monitor and track about any campaign you can put together. It is quite good at avoiding SPAM.

It does take quite a bit of learning to setup and work with this software. Once you understand it, it works well.

Very easy to set up campaigns, with many information points to help if you do happen to get stuck, paired with Gravity Forms it's really easy to get set up and start data capturing.

Have trouble inserting Pictures into an email and have to structure the communication to add any pictures at the bottom under the text

Avantages

It is easy to upload contacts and to create and edit campaigns. This helped me to track open rates for the emails we send and to be able to follow up with those who have not opened the email yet which is better than mailchimp.

Inconvénients

The payments and the editor are the things I don't like about the software. Also integrating the plug-ins is not that easy.
