I love the analytics that Campaign Monitor provides! In world view, you can watch as people open the email and where they are located!

I can’t really think of any cons... I haven’t come across any at least.

It's really simple and affordable for getting a basic mail campaign going when it's for a smaller mailing list.

Inconvénients

It's somewhat frustrating to use once a mailing list gets on the larger size as the segments can't be generated and instead have to be manually filled so any new segments take ages to fill.

Avantages

- The software presented as a cheaper alternative to Mailchimp for our medium-size business.
- The software offered most of the email functionality we required.

Inconvénients

- Pricing staggers up quickly.
- Offers less features then alternatives like ActiveCampaign.
- Customer Support is not quite as accessible and helpful then ActiveCampaign or MailChimp.
- MailChimp is more user-friendly, especially for beginners.

Avantages

The customer support is top-notch from my experience. Quick, explanatory and complete. I had no holes in my interaction with them. Templates are really nice.

Inconvénients

Not as much freedom as a customized design platform but a great bang for your buck either way.

Avantages

I love the ease of using this email program! Lists are easy to sort and adding in new contacts is a quick process. Things are laid out very well and it doesn't take a lot of work to be able to learn to work with the program easily!

Inconvénients

I have found that the templates that they have are a bit difficult to work with and maneuver, but overall this is still worth working through because of the upsides of this program.

Campaign Monitor's email automation works fine but lacks some advanced features.

Australian Made. Easy to use, lots of features. Constantly being updated with new and useful features. Amazing support - patient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Email editing tool has a few UI niggles and could do with a few fixes, but doesn't all software?
Could always be cheaper, but couldn't all software?

Avantages

It's easy to learn this tool because of how simple and straight forward the UI is. It offers a great number of templates as well and has a generally working API which can be used to integrate in websites specially eccomerce ones.

Inconvénients

I'd say it is a bit pricey and some of it's automation features only offer basic functions. Their free account also does not allow email sending so this is kind of a let down compared to other tools of the same nature that offers limited email sending for their free accounts.

Avantages

Easy to use and very simplistic. Love the UI, functions and features. Everyone including the beginner can shortly send out an eye popping email. They have brought my email campaigns to another level of professionalism.

Inconvénients

Software is on the pricey side compared to others. The support is good although not with live. Only so much you can do customization wise. Other than that it does the job.

Easy to use, very adaptable to different client needs, set up really well for organised isatio a, individuals or small consultant agencies like me

Some of the invisible formatting can be vexing, for example heading sizes can slip into paragraphs and you can think its fixed on preview but it shows up again in test emails, or, worse, the real thing.

Ease of use- you can set up an email campaign in minutes, and it's very user friendly. Works for basic email sends.

This is a great baseline tool for email marketing, but I wouldn't recommend it for complex nurture and lifecycle campaigns, as it is not as robust as other enterprise tools on the market.

One of the highlights of Campaign Monitor when I was using it was the split testing that allows A/B testing with mail campaigns.

Inconvénients

Although there is nothing outstandingly bad about Campaign Monitor the lack of a few features such as sales reports and CRM synchronization mean that it falls short of what other similar products on the market can deliver.

Lots of pre-built mobile-ready templates. If you require a custom one, the user interface for creating templates is simple as well. Lots of integration with popular eCommerce platforms.

Inconvénients

This is quite pricey depending on how much subscribers you're emailing to compared to alternatives. No live support unless you want to pay even more.

The built-in list management and report systems are top-notch. You could skip Excel entirely if were so inclined.

Inconvénients

There are a few operations that I wish we were able to do in bulk like copying emails and deleting lists.

Campaign Monitor has a lot of personalization options (conditional text, incorporating multiple data sources) that put you in control of your program.

Inconvénients

Because we were a smaller client for CM, but had a lot of security and legal requirements, our sales process took quite a while (around six months).

Inconvénients

Requires lot of time especially if you just started using the software. But one time only like encoding your contacts and making your first template.

As a designer, I confess there is very little I liked about using this software. Perhaps, I liked the ease of establishing different coloured backgrounds to adjacent sections of a newsletter campaign template.

Inconvénients

Having used this app as a designer to create templates for different clients, I think that it really does not compare to Mailchimp. It's style editor is quite clunky to use and the visual results one can obtain feel fairly limited

The software is simple to use and there are plenty of templates to choose from.

My client canceled several times and billing never stopped. They were billed for 8 months without using and couldn't get a refund.

Started using Campaign Monitor after a thorough search of competitors, and chose it and one more. CM is robust, offering many campaign options and integrations. It was a bit of a learning curve for me but for those who are already familiar with this sort of thing they won't have any issues.

Inconvénients

There is a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed on their ecosystem. Sometimes the interface can be a bit choppy, but effective overall.

Avantages

Perhaps we are a bit biased but this is the only tool that fits perfectly in our case - it has everything for an agency to design and send newsletter or communicate otherwise with our clients subscribers. Other tools are more oriented to somebody working insise companies.

Nothing really. It has everything other tool have and also has quite nice and clean interface, also easy to customize.

Especially liked the integration with Get Feedback. Super easy to use - appreciate that things stay pretty consistent so I don't have to look for familiar tools with every update. Nice to share real-time reports with clients. Great price-no mandatory subscription. :-)

Inconvénients

Would like to see some updates to editing, like more specific sharing options in each section of the email. Would also like to see an easy way to view and print small versions of the campaigns.

The interface is simple and intuitive, as you don't have to spend hours figuring creating new templates. Cost is pretty low compared to other alternatives and availability of advanced features such as A/B testing, data segmentation really add to the overall package.

Inconvénients

Limited ability to edit HTML once templates are uploaded. A more user friendly drag-and-drop editor would be a great addition to CampaignMonitor. Reporting could use improving, and better integrations for triggered emails would be great.

Templates are easy to use and you can accomplish just about everything you need to do with them. Customer support rocks. They're quick and accurate.

I wish they would allow the user to stop an A/B test or a campaign when it's in progress. Mistakes happen and this would limit damage.

I had to use Campaign Monitor for the first time with a relatively short turnaround time to set up an email marketing campaign for a client. It was easy enough to use that I was able to find my way around the software without much trouble.

It is a very robust software, but the interface looks a bit dated. However, it does the job as you would expect it to.

Our favourite thing was that it work in with our CRM.
