ChurchTrac software is easy to navigate and intuitively laid out.

The search bar attempts to correct spelling of names and then loses the names that have already been selected.

It would be very helpful to be able to download reports especially Mailing Addresses and the Church Directory.

When we archive a person, they retain their groups, for instance they still show up in the birthday and anniversary lists.

If there is one family that has some members living in one location and some living in another location can we add two family addresses?

It's an efficient program that has about all you would need for keeping the church's financial records accurate and in order and yet it is rather simple to do so with the features it has.

Memorized contribution amounts for regular tithers would be very beneficial. Nowadays most budget their tithes so they give the same amount each time and a memory, as I have seen in other programs, that would suggest the amount would be nice.

Avantages

ChurchTrac is specific for churches and their unique needs. Their support team is outstanding demonstrating that they understand that their clientele are not CPAs nor IT geeks. I've always found a solution to my issues either by help topics, support request or phone support. I love the integration of giving, accounting, messaging and still learning

I'm the only one in my church using it. Got to get others onboard with administration of the system. Volunteering has its limits.

The ease in which I can do all the things my church needed. From people managements to accounting, worship scheduling, online giving, a church website, and attendence check-in. It's all included for a very low cost to the church. And the fact it is so user friendly in all modules!

While there may be a few small items missing or I don't like, the developers are always doing upgrades to make the entire program better and if you submit ideas they really do take the time to look at that and see if that is possible.

The totality of tools that it provides. Church Connect is a remarkable app that is provided for free. The awesome classes and help videos are fantastic.

Being a small church we needed the payroll help that was included. Because of the tax law changes that part was dropped. We miss that very much.

This is a great, all-in-one software for our church. As the financial and clerical secretary, I was responsible for finding it, purchasing it, setting it up and getting the accounting end of it rolling. It was very intuitive, very simple to use, and is exactly the right fit for our church's needs!! Also, wonderful customer service, and a great YouTube tutorial library.

Inconvénients

The only con I can think of, is that some of the reporting features aren't quite what we need. The annual budget reporting needs some work, and it would be great if it exported to XLXS rather than CSV only. But in the grand scheme of things, those are mild complaints.

Not only is ChurchTrac user friendly for an individual with no finance or business background, but the support and response time is phenomenal.

I love how easy it is to maneuver the software. The accounting portion practically runs itself and works great with our bank and our giving platform. Whenever I've had any questions, the support is very responsive and helpful. I also love that there is a whole community on Facebook who supply a lot of valuable insight, not to mention the webinars that are frequently offered through Churchtrac, along with video recordings on their YouTube page.

I wish that we could enter visitors and not be counted toward our membership total. It makes it difficult to have to continually go through names and try to decide who to archive so that our annual costs are kept down.

Churchtrac covers all the bases and is constantly upgrading its capabilities. It is design specifically for church.

Sometimes your videos get ahead of a first-timer raise more questions than we can comprehend. Then we have to wait for a response or struggle through it to find out what will happen.

Avantages

ChurchTrac makes it extremely easy to manage members on mobile as well as desktop. The notification features for roll assignments for events is extremely fast, simple to understand and effective.

Inconvénients

Sometimes difficult to navigate directly to an area that would seem obvious as an oversight. For example, quickly going to an event where there are people who have rules this takes about 4 to 5 clicks. Additionally, getting a quick summary of historical and current role assignments is very difficult. This is 4 to 5 clicks for each of those events. a summary of past and or present and future would be great. No API limits the ability to use the data outside of the ChurchTrac system.

I love how easy it is to set up and use the product. There is an app that church members can use. I also love that they can see their annual giving online and that they are grouped by families with individual profiles.
I set up the whole account on my own in a day.

Inconvénients

Not having a phone number to call when I needed help. You can schedule something for a future call but that wasn't what I needed. I figured stuff out on my own but a support line would have been helpful.

The system is easy to use. Has a lot of great functions under one system. I can manage communications, online giving, email and text alerts and use it as an all function.

I wish there was a different option and using just Twilio for text message feature. But once you get it set up and jump through all the Twilio’s hoops it’s not that bad. ChurchTrac makes it very easy though once you get it going

Avantages

The people management works great, and there are many ways to message people. The donor management and accounting features integrate well together. The scheduling of volunteers has made the process much easier. The distinction between accounts and funds makes it easy for churches, and running financial and budget reports is very easy. Overall the software is amazing and the customer support has been very quick and SO helpful!

Inconvénients

There are a couple of little quirks. For those in Canada, it does not use double value entry accounting, so I have to enter the HST amount in the note line, export it as a CSV file, and then add it that way. It can still be tracked but it takes a few extra steps. Our worship team does not like it as much as previous software when it comes to using it on the platform in a service.
