I am happy with the accounting. I recently joined and stepped back to Dec 1, and have process though December and Jaunary Checking accout, and plan to do Credit Card and Brokerage Acct (to accept gifts of Stock)

Not finding great value ChurchTrac youtube video. I have yet to be able to load Church Connect app, I really do not like the access to accounts and giving must go through the Connect app to configure for ACH

User interface is really great. The training videos are best in class for an online system.

Reporting functionality is limited on the accounting side. We are having to export info and use excel more than I would care to.

The ease in which I can do all the things my church needed. From people managements to accounting, worship scheduling, online giving, a church website, and attendence check-in. It's all included for a very low cost to the church. And the fact it is so user friendly in all modules!

While there may be a few small items missing or I don't like, the developers are always doing upgrades to make the entire program better and if you submit ideas they really do take the time to look at that and see if that is possible.

The totality of tools that it provides. Church Connect is a remarkable app that is provided for free. The awesome classes and help videos are fantastic.

Being a small church we needed the payroll help that was included. Because of the tax law changes that part was dropped. We miss that very much.

Avantages

ChurchTrac uses tags which allow you to sort information in almost unlimited ways. It's easy to create lists and filter users based on the criterion you select. It's also one of the more affordable products.

Inconvénients

While you can have an unlimited number of users access Church Connect (what I call the 'front end' of the system), the ChMS 'back end' is limited to 10 user accounts by default. You can request more but this limit is mainly for security. I feel like it would be useful if CT included some more fine-grained security settings so we can allow more of our users to access parts of the backend, particularly worship services and documents.

We have only been using ChurchTrac for 3 months but it has replaced an old, outdated system that was no longer functional. ChurchTrac was easy to update and we were able to go back to January 2024 to get our books on track. ChurchTrac offers a wide variety of reports that satisfy all of our financial management needs. ChurchTrac is fantastic!

So far, there hasn't been anything we didn't like about ChurchTrac.

ChurchTrac is specific for churches and their unique needs. Their support team is outstanding demonstrating that they understand that their clientele are not CPAs nor IT geeks. I've always found a solution to my issues either by help topics, support request or phone support. I love the integration of giving, accounting, messaging and still learning

Inconvénients

I'm the only one in my church using it. Got to get others onboard with administration of the system. Volunteering has its limits.

Our church loves how easy it is to use ChurchTrac and the products it offers. From entering in giving records to keeping track of members, ChurchTrac is by far the simplest church software we have used.

It is hard to be critical of ChurchTrac which does everything we need and then some and is the most affordable of all the church apps available.

We are not a point of accessing everything available to us. So much capability with ChurchTrac, but we are not to the level we need to be in order use them all!

I felt like doing the "cards" were fairly easy but I have encountered a few hiccups!

I feel like the actual help questions want to direct you to a video a lot of the times and I think for new users they would probably have many of the same questions! Plus, I would like some more instructional type webinars/maybe on a more regular basis and maybe do to smaller groups on Zoom where we could ask questions if this was possible!

Sometimes your videos get ahead of a first-timer raise more questions than we can comprehend. Then we have to wait for a response or struggle through it to find out what will happen.

Avantages

As the Treasurer, I love the Accounting module. It has greatly enhanced our ability to manage the church’s funds in a clear and concise manner.

Inconvénients

I have no cons about the system as I personally only use the Accounting module.

Avantages

The people management works great, and there are many ways to message people. The donor management and accounting features integrate well together. The scheduling of volunteers has made the process much easier. The distinction between accounts and funds makes it easy for churches, and running financial and budget reports is very easy. Overall the software is amazing and the customer support has been very quick and SO helpful!

Inconvénients

There are a couple of little quirks. For those in Canada, it does not use double value entry accounting, so I have to enter the HST amount in the note line, export it as a CSV file, and then add it that way. It can still be tracked but it takes a few extra steps. Our worship team does not like it as much as previous software when it comes to using it on the platform in a service.

Avantages

ChurchTrac makes it extremely easy to manage members on mobile as well as desktop. The notification features for roll assignments for events is extremely fast, simple to understand and effective.

Inconvénients

Sometimes difficult to navigate directly to an area that would seem obvious as an oversight. For example, quickly going to an event where there are people who have rules this takes about 4 to 5 clicks. Additionally, getting a quick summary of historical and current role assignments is very difficult. This is 4 to 5 clicks for each of those events. a summary of past and or present and future would be great. No API limits the ability to use the data outside of the ChurchTrac system.

The system is easy to use. Has a lot of great functions under one system. I can manage communications, online giving, email and text alerts and use it as an all function.

Inconvénients

I wish there was a different option and using just Twilio for text message feature. But once you get it set up and jump through all the Twilio’s hoops it’s not that bad. ChurchTrac makes it very easy though once you get it going

Friendly user, easy to navigate. Doesn’t give you run around to use. Brethren easily get to use it at one shot training

To be honest with you. Nothing. I only wish when you enter brethren name, you can drop down the menu for the tithe and enter it, then drop down the menu of the offering as well and enter it, instead of going all over to re enter the name again before you can enter other donations the individuals made.
