Good choice for your vacation rental
Avantages
Price-wise it makes sense. Pretty simple to use and I would probably recommend it to someone who's just starting out.
Inconvénients
Channel manager has limited capabilities. We need more integrations with pricing softwares.

Missing the ability to allow for discounted rates when the guests are booking. For instance we offer our returning guests a 10% discount and 10% discount if they book more than one cottage, but there does not seem to be a way of handling this

Shame about the customer support!
Post the excellent support in starting up, the support function was at first "spotty" with inconsistent and sometimes delayed follow-up, to now, after 5 months of use, it has become "diabolical"! I have been trying to solve a problem with Googoe Analytics for 10 weeks. Today, with no answer to my last plea for help, after 5 weeks. I am beginning to question whether Lodgify is now as bad as VRBO et al in it's attitude towards customers.
Avantages
Software is good, if a little slow on Ipad.
Inconvénients
The support function is deteriorating by the week - now diaboilcal!

User friendly and very useful
Avantages
The messages system and the intuitive layout. The mobile version also works wonderfully. We work both with Mac and PC without problems. I have no complaints of the daily function of the software so far.
Inconvénients
If you create 2 rooms of the same type you won't have them outlined in different occupation lines, so you need to create both rooms separately if you really want to see directly which one is busy which dates.

Good experience so far. Takes a little getting used to as its quite a robust software.
Avantages
Integration of multiple properties was very helpful. Channel manager is easy to use. Good value for your money.
Inconvénients
Integration into Airbnb's promotions would be nice. Currently have to go to Airbnb to set specific date promotions instead of doing it through Lodgify.

Really Simplifies Rental Management.
Central management of property occupancy and availability. Easily set seasonal rates and closed periods.

It is simple to use, gives a central overview of property occupancy and syncs with all the major rental sites.
Inconvénients
Some of the synchronisation is calendar only, not full integration, but this is generally a third party limitation

Not synchronizing important features (e.g. % discounts, override rates for specific dates...)
Promising exposure on Expedia -- this is a bit misleading (although that's cause Expedia allows only hotels)

First time useer
Overall, it's been a positive experience. This is my first rental property and it's helped me start from scratch having so many features in one place.
Avantages
Initial set up of the property website was easy. It was also great to have payment receipt built in.
Inconvénients
I had an issue when I was trying to manually add a renter and generate a quote. I kept receiving an "unknown" error message and it took me nearly an hour to figure out that the rental period violated one my rules. Once I figured it out, it took seconds to make the change. I wish the error message had directed me to the solution.

Short term rental
Avantages
Very user friendly. Quick and intuitive setup. Final product/website looks clean and professional. Good exposure on google search. Our first guests found and booked on our personal site, rather than VRBO/AirBNB. Small issues with set-up quickly addressed by support staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to set up and run their own vacation rental site.
Inconvénients
The App is much less robust than the web version of site.

Website build review
I tried a couple of the big website builders but they were very difficult to use, the cost was never what was advertised and the customer support was non existent. Lodgify has been the answer for us and the book now and calendar features work great and the customer support has been superb.
Avantages
Customer support is excellent , book now button and easy Calendar functions are all pre integrated. There was no charge until the site was ready to publish and the cost was what was advertised with no hidden fees etc. So far it has been great.
Inconvénients
Perhaps a bit more personalisation in the design element would be good but compared to the advantages for an accomodation business this is easily acceptable.

Templates can be a bit restrictive on design and copy layout and could do with more direct links for channel manager listings.

Not Easy for Non-Tech Savies
Although I'm not a complete beginner with computers (Mac) and am a fast learner, I found setting up the website very difficult and tedious. Don't get me wrong - the instructions are well planned and extensive, as is the support, and the website is in good taste - but the technical side of things (footers, templates etc) were hard for me to master.
And now that it is up and running, I have not had a single response, even though I have read all the e-books and attended various webinars on how to hook guests, along with opening and cultivating facebook and instagram accounts on a daily basis. This is more a request for help, than a criticism of your product, because I think I am missing something. Cheers, Elisabeth

Not so easy to setup, configuration are spread across too many different pages
Not so many. I was hoping to organize bookings and finance (expenses, etc..).
Avantages
Final product is good. You can have your vacation home listed online. Unfortunately if you book via Airbnb it's easier to just be in Airbnb instead of Lodgify.
Inconvénients
It lacks a lot of UX features for a good responsive design. There are too many bugs in the admin page (I've reported some). Please hire an experienced UX designer and a full-time test team to find and kill bugs. Now a days, user experience is a major feature.
Mobile access is not so good also. A native app should be considered (React Native is a good choice for web teams).

I love having an option for friends and family to book directly, and the two calls I had with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] were game changers in my ability to use the software. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was amazing in telling and showing how to work the software, I am confident using it on my own now!

Great vacation rental system
I am using Lodgify to get my properties rented. We have vacation rentals and we would like to be able to do it entirely ourselves without having to depend on outside services

Good to great. I don't plan to leave any time soon.
Avantages
Sync across all platforms. Very involved set up. Great customer support. App is nice.
Inconvénients
User experience can be lacking in some areas. Accounting module not easy to use. Tough to make sense.

Great solution!
our new website and the hospitality team is loving the reservation system. We are grateful for Lodgify we were able to get a great looking website up with a reservation system that is working both for our innkeepers and our guests.
Avantages
Looks really great.
Easy to use reservation system.
Inconvénients
Customer support is responsive, albeit a little slow.

Sovrapposizioni di prenotazioni dovuto a sincronizzazione ritardata, che cmq mi sono costate commissioni a vuoto!!
Avantages
Calendario e schede di prenotazioni complete.
Inconvénients
Sincronizzazione con alcuni portali...inizialmente...poi risolto!!

Perfect for my short term rental business
I needed a one stop solution for hosting to managing calendars to e-commerce payments. Lodgify delivered all the above and allowed me to synchronize prices across my channels.
Avantages
Easy to understand, very flexible and configurable.
Inconvénients
Very little to dislike, however I wish it had the ability to use dynamic pricing from Airbnb.

Customer support takes to long. Even it has many languages, some thing are still missing translation. Missing raporting

Lodgify was easy to use for a total novice and provides the needed tools towards a professional finished product.
Avantages
Customer service is friendly and very thorough and helpful.
Inconvénients
Customer service is in a European time zone but their lengthy personalized attention more than make up for it.

Initial experience with Lodgify as Vacation Rental Owner
Needed a professional website of my own to display our properties and ours alone, as opposed to them being lost amongst the thousands on offer on the likes of VRBO, and Lodgify seems to perfectly fit the bill.
Avantages
The professional appearance and ease of us would attract potential guests and inspire the confidence to book via this site.
Inconvénients
Have not encountered any problems so far.

Very pleased
We signed up for Lodgify because we liked the search function allowing renters to search all our properties and the fact that the website is optimized for both desktop and mobile users. Both have turned out to be great. The Lodgify system is easy to use and customize; we used the pre-built templates and added snippets of our own HTML coding -- not that we are coders, just what we remembered from college and found online. Very pleased with customer service as well -- readily available, knowledgeable, and thorough. We're very happy with our website! Thank you!

Great, user friendly, and very practical website
Avantages
It is easy to use, support team is responsive and efficient, great tool for someone starting renting properties and does not have the knowledge, or capacity to build its own website.
Inconvénients
There are only a few tweaks that could be improved. Like photo size that adapts to website site, and the translation features can be tricky. But these are really minor issues.
