As a first time user of a ticketing event software platform I really appreciated the logical layout of setting up and the ease of use. Responses from customer service were always prompt and detailed. I like that while there were many other functions we didn't use (Seating charts, group notifications, ect) that we didn't have issues with just using the ticket tracking and sales functionality.

I'd like to have had the opportunity to more directly link non-support payment systems (Venmo) with the Offline payment. Mind you we didn't have any issue having people pay that way but being able to link more payment systems would have been a nice to have

In the reviews we did I like the smaller company feel of Ticket Taylor, made ups feel like we would be seen as a valued customer not just another revenue stream. In addition the price was the best for the services we needed.

I love that Ticket Tailor have a mobile option. This allows us to easily manage event tickets even when we're working remotely.

Inconvénients

The minimum and most affordable package option only allows hosting of 5 active events. This was a challenge to us during the festive seasons where we had multiple events and we had to upgrade to another package which cost more than our initial budget

I have tried all the major ticketing sites for my film festival and found Ticket Tailor to be head and shoulders above the competition. The site is exceptionally user-friendly and the monthly package - as opposed to hefty commissions charged by rival sites - is advantageous to my business model. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending it.

We get the charity discount with Ticket Tailor and Stripe and only pay for the months we are actually selling tickets - that means it works out much better for us than all the other platforms we looked at who take a percentage of the ticket price. The functionality is also great - we can customise the checkout process easily to ask for menu choices, allergies, attendee names etc etc. Our parents love the ease of paying online and we have definitely sold more tickets as a result. It saves our treasurer a huge amount of work as they no longer have to reconcile bank payments and cheques. I also use Zapier to automatically send ticket sales to our Wave accounting system.

As a nonprofit organization, there is a charity discount that ticket tailor offers subscribers. Their model is based on a monthly subscription, but you can pause it! We are a non-profit theater company, and do not produce theater all year round, so the ability to not only have a discount but also to pause our subscription and maintain all of our data until we need the software later on in the year is spectacular! It captures purchaser data, provides a clean and analytic landing page for ticket purchases that you can easily integrate into your own website, and is intuitive for ticket purchasers.

Inconvénients

It integrates with stripe and PayPal, and the percentage taken by those two organizations to process payments is our least favorite aspect. That being said, it's the best that we've worked with!!

After looking at alternative online ticketing solutions we were initially drawn to TicketTailor by their competitive pricing, but they have proven to be great. Their platform is stable, easy to use and very customisable. They even offer a charity discount on top of their low pricing! We weren't sure about choosing someone other than the brand name for organising events online - let's call them Shiny Events - but TicketTailor have met all our expectations.

Inconvénients

The only inconvenience we've found is that TicketTailor fees are paid to them via credit card, whereas card transaction fees are debited by their payment provider (Stripe) from the remittance. This has caused our accounts team a few challenges as the bank account we're having the remittance paid into isn't the same as the bank account with a credit card! Not a show stopper, but upset our finance team a little!

Cost effective and easy to use platform. I don't have much experience setting up event registrations so appreciated the step by step check list and quick responses on the chat function. Looks clean and professional and has lots of great features like customised invoicing and email templates.

I love the simplicity and how easy it is to create an event. It’s also great that it supplies me with the widget code so I can embed the ticketing directly onto the website, allowing all traffic to be driven there. The flat monthly fee is insanely smart and saves us lots of money

There are a few things I wish I could add to the ticketing site, like add-on options for guests to order merchandise or multiple choice questions about food options, etc.

I’ve recently started using Ticket Tailor for my dog training workshops and classes. It’s simplified everything! I no longer need to spend time emailing clients, trying to match bank payments, chasing for payment. Tickets are bought, money comes in! Easier to use than others I’ve tried, I like that I can personalise the booking form, clients emails and add my terms and conditions.

Ticket Tailor has proven to fill a void that large event management software has failed to fill: the need of a small business/venue. They have pricing plans that are not out of reach and are appropriate for the size and type of event that is being promoted. The customer service is top-notch as well, which adds the icing on the cake!

We leveraged Ticket Tailor for our new paint and sip studio. It was very easy to setup and integrated with Wix seamlessly. Our clients have had positive feedback on the end user experience.

Ticket tailor may end up being a bit overkill for our business model, and we may move to a different reservation platform. The biggest con for us is being limited to Stripe or Paypal. We have a different merchant service provider that we'd prefer to use so that we have a single payment processor involved. The cost per ticket is probably more warranted for larger events (we have a 40 seat max). It would also be nice if the event page could be organized in a monthly calendar look.

If you use Stripe for payments (which is the cheapest option), all events have to pay out to one bank account, which can be annoying if you run multiple events with different people. Also it doesn't have a mailing list like Eventbrite to promote your events, but otherwise very good.

I like the immediacy of it and the fact that it easily links up to Stripe for fast payments.

Inconvénients

I always need to do print screens of the events I've held and the total amounts made for my accountants, because there's no feature to have a summary of the income for each product. I've asked the question but Ticket Tailor has referred me to Stripe, however Stripe don't show you what you've made per product, only money coming in. So it's a bit of an annoying vicious circle.

Does everything we need it to do to sell tickets to our fundraiser events. Don't charge a fee on the sales, just a modest monthly fee that can be paused when we don't have active events. Continuous improvement in services offered and excellent support when I've had questions.
