Great Booking System

For quite some years we were taking bookings with PayPal in a very time consuming and not really professional way, but we dealed with it. But once we tried to upgrade to 'Business' incredible problems rose. Customers service at PayPal have no idea what they were talking about. Everytime you try to contact them again for the same issue, you alway deal with another person. As many persons I spoke to, as many advises I got. Eventually they simply blocked my account and just left me and my company without any means to take online bookings. So for PayPal, less than zero stars.

During research on the Internet for an alternative booking system, I quickly found out that it's very difficult to get a Payment Gateway setup if your living and running a business in a country such as Cambodia. I also found out that so called 'Free' online booking systems are very limited in terms of possibilities and terms & conditions I did not felt comfortable with. Than I came across Trekksoft. I was completely surprised of the 'customer care'. They are very knowledgeable, very friendly and usually replies on various questions are almost instantly. My biggest concern of getting a Payment Gate setup was solved in less than a second. Actually you do not need one and can simply use Trekksoft Payment Gateway. No questions asked and no need to send tons of business documents. The Trekksoft account was setup very easely and after a couple of days, we were online again.

Avantages

Even for the 'Standard' account, lots of possibilities. Very professional appearance. Incredible support team. Not free, but also 'No' worries. Very easy to obtain a Payment Gateway. On the fly tracking of bookings and block dates. Literally taking your business in your pocket.

Inconvénients

It has a fairly steep learning curve but very well balanced out with the amazing support. Not yet flawless intergratable with Joomla. No Android App available yet. Payout only once a month.

Sometimes misunderstanding of the questions, then the answers are not relevant for the...

Quick feedback of the bookings.

Avantages

I like to have the fast reply from the help-desk, much appreciated. But sometimes they misunderstand the questions and gives wrong answer...

Inconvénients

We want to have the possibility for our customers to do booking at TrekkSoft 2-3 years ahead of the expeditions. Today it's not possible, why?

contratei a versão gratuita, como não vendia passei para versão PRO...não ajudou
então voltei para versão gratuita...eles simplesmente tiraram meu site do ar ...sem comunicação antecipada
para recuperar o conteúdo do site tive que pagar.....
ENTÃO VERSÃO GARTUITA É PARA INGLÊS VÊR.......

A good product which is constantly evolving as they add new features. Not perfect, but we are...

Avantages

(1) Easy integration with some of the biggest booking systems like Viator, Get Your Guide and Expedia.
(2) Simple to learn and use, whether just using the booking software or also using the website builder
(3) Quick response time from the customer service team

Inconvénients

(1) It seems that TrekkSoft has prioritized developing new features over improving the current product and fixing bugs. I think that is now changing as they seem to be working on tightening up the entire quality of the software, but it still needs work to be more stable and bug-free.

Easy & Intuiitive

We have the Office in our smartphones at any tone!!!

Avantages

Is a very useful system to conecting and displaying booking options. The info actualización is very easy and the notification way by Google calendar is efective.

Inconvénients

Some time we have problems with the booking notifications by email. But maybe, is an conecting problems.

Expensive / bad crm / not good features

Avantages

It's supposed to be taylored-made for tourism, although it's far behind the real situation, often we find ourselves adapting to the system...

Inconvénients

Horrible CRM - Takes weeks

For simple things, such a banal thing like: 'know who is or not in today's tour' - it's an added feature --> Scammers..

Expensive and worse than similar products on the marke such as Xola cheaper and better

DRIVING CHANGE AND INNOVATION IN A TOUR COMPANY

SALES!!

Avantages

- Customer Support: Customer Team is just incredible. They are fast, effective and generate notorious value when needed.
- Booking Engine (Intranet): The backend of the booking engine has endless features and options and is very easy to understand and use.
- Sharing Knowledge: Personally, their tips, blog and webinars are just great.

Inconvénients

- Lack of Features (Front-End): At the moment, front-end customization is a bit limited as we need to adapt to the standard (and awesome) booking engine they developed. However, I'm sure that TrekkSoft will improve their customization process and features very soon.

Great tool that makes our jobs easier!

A positive experience overall!

Avantages

It works great It works well, fast and securely. It's proven to be very reliable.

Inconvénients

I believe the overall interface could use some tweaking, and the platform itself could potentially be a bit more improved and user friendly - for a better overview of reservations, less steps to take to get to a file, etc.

Great booking system

Connection to channels really safe us a lot of time managing bookings from different channels, and avoiding mistakes.
Very responsive customer service that solves problem very quickly.

Avantages

- Can be connected to many channels
- Easy to use
- Super responsive customer service

Inconvénients

- Glitches happen
- Minor shortcomings, such as payout report doesn't give detailed information such as adult / child

Positive and quick easy to use

its a full service tourism suite.

Avantages

this software if full service booking suite with all the bells and whistles that go with it. Trekksoft have not left a stone unturned if you need it to run your tourism based business then Trekksoft has it covered.

Inconvénients

The only thing that I found frustrating is that on the start-up package you have an initial account agent for the set-up process but once you have set-up you needs to email support team for answers and to assistance. Although I do agree that with the low their packages and account manager should not be an ongoing thing. I think it would be best to have a point of contact for at least the first 6 months of signing up to allow for further training and questions.

Easy to use. Work well. Good customer service.

Avantages

The software is really easy to use. It has an great app for smartphone which is really handy if you are on the go while using it.

Inconvénients

Sometimes there is some bugs that happens when customers pay, where they show up as "ghosts" with no personal info.

Tool that helped the success for my business

I started using Trekksoft shortly after we just opened our tour operation business and we where in a big need for a tool to make us visible and also manage our guests. Since this day- no regrets. As we are a small company and back in the days had no money for hiring someone to build our web, handle our systems etc. Trekksoft offered it all for a reasonable cost. Also it is really easy to use even for someone who has no idea in building websites and handling back office. Also communication with them has always been really fun and everybody is always really helpful. They also organise different interesting Webinas and have an interesting blog I would recommend to follow.
Would always recommend for anybody working in tour business.

The product is not even half developed, it is slow and you will never hear from them after you...

No benefits at all, too slow and to complicated to use not to mention the price.

Avantages

Nothing, because they ripped us off, took our money and dissapeared. Nothing actually worked for us and I don't need to mention the worst customer service ever, they don't care about customer and I can just say it is a SCAM! Be careful.

Inconvénients

No customer support, slow and too complicated system with too many featuers. They worst customer service ever, after we paid they dissapeared and never delivered anything! The system is not worth a penny! SCAM!

The most versatile booking system software for tours and add-ons.

Avantages

I like how easy it is to use and all the great functions. Being able to schedule pre and post trip reminders using both e-mail and SMS is great, and being able to fully customise pdf tickets and reminders is really nice.

Inconvénients

The only thing I don't like so far is that it is a bit expensive. We only just started using Trekksoft, so hopefully it will prove it is worth the money.

The Biggest Headache in My Business

Avantages

Relatively easy to use and to set up compared to other products. It also had all the features that I was looking for.

Inconvénients

In theory Trekksoft does everything it says it does but the reality is different. I collect a deposit, then send out a second invoice for final payment closer to the tour. It was so confusing that even my account manager from Trekksoft had difficult saying how much the customer owed.

Then, the amount showing wasn't even correct. I waited for over two months for this to be fixed but it never was.

It's the worst customer service I ever had and the product bugs are huge.

Trekksoft helps me make my bookings and reservations efficiently and smoothly.

Nothing I haven't already mentioned.

Avantages

Trekksoft is great. I can quickly search what I am looking for and do what I need to do. The colour scheme makes it easy to read.

Inconvénients

The basket details page sometimes has too much info in one place and when some articles are updated I still have to update the others manually.

Good - practical for tours - to be improved for bike rentals

It is easy to send payment links to customers, customer support, mapping with plenty of agents possible and easy to process

Ease of set up and customer service, additional features being added each year as they continue to improve.

Inconvénients

Since we run multiple tours at various times of the day, it would be ideal for our customers to see what is available on the day instantly, without having to contact us first.

High quality software with excellent service!

We have integrated it to handle all our bookings in our treetop parks and our bow tag and paintball activities.

Avantages

We had some requirements that this was one of the only booking software to handle. The training and integration team is one of the best I have experienced

Inconvénients

We lack a sales platform for merchandise and shop items without a booking attached.

Customer Service Help

Avantages

Often quite self explanatory and easy to use

Inconvénients

Has some glitches in search functions, when searching for a name or an email address it is not bringing up all options. EG, when I search a name and then search the email address that is coming up for a booking, the booking I took the email address from does not come up

The every day running of our activity business has completey changed to the better after...

Avantages

The way it frees so much time for us by having customers do most of their booking themselves. This makes us able to focus on improving our products and being innovative.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it takes too long time to get answers through the TrekkSoft-chat. The app is not optimal, especially taking payment from the phone hardly works.

Great app

Online booking is automated and keeping track of bookings and guest requirements is available at my fingertips. Organizing resources and automatic booking close-off eliminate over booking. The customer service and assistance is very professional and willing to help resolve any issue. You are never left alone but feels like i have my own office staff right at my finger tips. The best thing of all is the cost, surely value for your money. I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to improve their booking system and grow their business.

Avantages

What I like most about the app, is the fact that as a small business operator this app give me the flexibility and freedom to concentrate on providing high quality service while the app take care of my schedule and bookings.

Inconvénients

Not much there not to like about the app. How ever the default currency should be in USD since that most customers prefer to trade in USD.

More front end templates with potentially display advertising as idea.

Avantages

Simplicity and flexibility. Adaptable to most real world requirements and tour offerings. Well thought out work flows and seemly intuitive.

Inconvénients

Currency and some fees. Not clear on enrollment. Still trying to figure it out. Some processes need to some refinement and occasionally we run into minor software issues.

Great Customer Service

good service

Avantages

customer service was accurate and to the point, using photos and other illustrations to for better understanding

Inconvénients

may take a few hours for first response. they require at least twenty four hours to get back to you.

Avantages

I like the very efficient customer support.
Features are getting better everyday; they listen to their customers.

Inconvénients

Not being able to make bundle changes. I have to make a change to each item.
Prices are not on the cheap side; it could be priced a bit more positively for the small business owners.

Great Service and Easy to Use Comprehensive Tour Booking System

Using TrekkSoft booking system has brought our business operations to a new level and saved us hours of everyday tasks to keep our business flowing and prevent overbooking. We provide speedboat tours from Split to the nearby islands and what we needed was an easy to use booking system which will help us monitor available capacities at all times no matter where we are at the moment.

The biggest advantage of TrekkSoft booking system is the ability to integrate booking buttons right on our existing website . This was very important to us as we spent significant amount of time designing our website and making it easy to navigate and use.

The second big advantage of TrekkSoft system is of course its mobile application which enables us to instantly check and if needed change the capacities of each tour we provide on any available tour date. Application also enables us to scan our customer ticket making it very useful when our guests arrive at our office as we can find their ticket details in a blink of an eye.

Finally we really love the partner network which is another great feature of TrekkSoft which enables us to connect with different tour operators in the area and promote their tours on our website without the need to call them to check for the available capacities of a particular tour. Everything is automatized and connected making the booking of our partner tours as easy and fast as if we were booking our own tour.

All in all TrekkSoft is a great tour booking system but the great customer service they provide and the help that they offer regarding any question we might have makes it even better.

Getting a Professional Edge for a New Walking Tour Service..

Having seen the site a fellow travel guide in the UK had built based on one of Trekksoft's templates I decided it was high time I 'pimped' my internet shop-front - so many tour guide sites are purely functional calling cards, which make no attempt to visually attract tourists their direction, and are merely there - in a perfunctory way - to make information available for prospective customers. Much of Trekksoft's approach on the other hand, seems to revolve around the simple philosophy of enabling the client to upload photo's which will make up a large part of the homepage and/or other pages, and of providing various templates in which the uploaded content can engage prospective users of the service. I found the initial training to be very straightforward - where questions arose further along the line, follow-up assistance was prompt and clear. Thanks again to Olan in Dublin and Jordan in Trekksoft customer service who helped get my one-man walking tour show off the ground!

Avantages

Provides a wide range of well-designed templates to suit a large variety of client priorities and requirements.

Inconvénients

Could do with a site map or a help function to enable the client to chase up on questions which might not fully necessitate a call to the customer service centre.

i like because you set it once and it works with all necessary procedure...yo send automatically confirmations and everything. Back up of sistem is always there.

Inconvénients

it has some things about rental that could be better...you are not alowed to count from hours days automatically, only you could choose daily or by hours counting...

Easy to customize. Easy to navigate admin portal. Works great with WordPress.

The Admin portal is easy to use and Navigate. Support is always available and helpful in creating ideas for your company.

Support was able to offer suggested method used by other tour companies which gave me great insight as to what is possible with Trekksoft partnership.

Inconvénients

The transactions fee are slightly more than my ATM card machine. Both speaking with support I was told that fee can be negotiate depending on the amount of transaction being made. So hop when I continue to grow the business a better transaction rate can be offered.

Requires device with data access. In my country mobile data is expensive. In the Americas or Europe I don t see this as a problem.

I am sorry that you couldn't move forward in the negotiation, but as you must know the platform is at your service under a paid suscription and not just under commissions. To my understanding our sales representatives did all that they could to offer the best deal possible to you but I hope you can understand that we can't just waive that payment and offer our services for free, that wouldn't be fair with all the thousands of customers that are currently using our platform and paying the normal fee.

Our pricing includes supporting calls with an expert to help you out in setting up the system, and unlimited email support, so if at some point you decide to accept the deal that was offered, rest sure you will have a great customer service team at your disposal.

Excellent Tool for Activity Providers

Trekksoft has been an excellent tool for us to continue to grow our business as if offers our clients an easy and safe way to book online. It has good features from the admin end and is easy to integrate into our websites. The customer service is excellent and responses are quick and full of answers.

Great booking software with many features

Avantages

The best about the software is that it offers many features and functions, you can use it in almost any case you have. The support is great and responds fast (email and telephonw). They also organize many seminars showcasing the industry and their product.

The software is a bit hard to use at first but when you start using it, it all becomes much simpler.

Well thought out software that has been an envaluable tool in enabling Therapy Charters

Avantages

Easy to use and allows for access on the run. Also allows for both great back end support to the end user who needs assistance.

Inconvénients

The time it takes for pages to load between searches. Once on the site and a new search has to be performed it takes way to long to navigate or open new pages. A quicker time process would greatly speed up processing.

Trekksoft make it easy to make changes and do my own thing on my website.

Avantages

That I am in charge and I can make changes when I like. The customer support is always around when I need and the styles of the webpages give a very professional look to my webpage. The quick book options on the website cut down on my emailing time also which is a bonus. I would recommend the product to anyone in the tourism business.

Inconvénients

Some minor adjustments could be made in things like bloging and ease when dealing with multiple languages.

Finally, have a overview for all our products in one place.

Avantages

It is all in one: booking system, payment gateway and channel distribution. Calendar Sync works just fine. No need for anything else. Customer service is above expectations.

A huge headache since the beginning!

I´ve been using Trekksoft platform for the last 4 months and we had a huge amount of problems since then. The person we deal with is a good guy but the technical support from the company is useless to correct the bugs that occur over the platform.

Avantages

I like their platform and it´s very convenient since I can add as many tours and services the way I want.

Inconvénients

Their Payment Gateway, which should be the best service available had an enormous amount of problems since we hired them. We missed lots of sales because of that.

Really great stuff

Avantages

Versatility and helpful staff. I can set up any kind of tour or activity for my rentals and manage the whole process.

Inconvénients

Wish it was free, but then it would probably not be great. The package with the APIs is really expensive, they need to work on that.

we think that the program will be very useful and simplify the processes as we understand it

with this system I have the control of my offer on the web in addition to being responsive on all mobile platforms, which offers me a payment system with a low commission and constant courses and webinars

The Perfect Solution!

It is an excellent product! I highly recommend it!

Avantages

The platform is excellent! It is a whole solution. I used to work with a webmaster who designed the website, but every time I needed a change, it required three or more days. Now I do it myself immediately! This gives me autonomy and versatility! In fact, it costs me less money!

Inconvénients

The instructions to operate the software are not always clear. I have to admit that these procedures were new to me. Modern learning techniques are very intuitive. Sometimes, older people need a clearer degree of explanation. The great advantage has been the excellent technical support I received. Fast and effective.

Quick and easy to set up and very easy for customers to book.

More bookings, and more partners!

Avantages

The way it is set up towards agents and OTA'S, you only need this system to keep control of all your bookings.

Inconvénients

The financial reports lack a little, but Trekksoft is working hard to improve that. In the high season it would be great with 24/7 customer support, but that is not a big deal.

Great start and supportivr to set up

Fantastic and faultless support at the beginning. Sales team were excellent. Support I received to set up was excellent. Very helpful and took time to help. Clear, easy and reliable. However, I had problems with the software and customer support was woeful. Misunderstood, passed around to various different people and I had to hassle to get problem solved. Teething problems took a while to sort out. It's working fine now but it was very stressful at beginning.

Avantages

Fairly easy to use. App good and responsive

Inconvénients

Have to scroll through for availability changes. But of a faff.
