Great app

Avantages

The software is realiable and user friendly. The customer service team try their hardest to help in any way they can. When purchasing I felt no pressure to get locked into a contract unlike other companies which can really affect your experience.

Inconvénients

That I cannot view a weekly schedule on my mobile app. And my members of staff do not see the same coloured schedule that I see. Its also not clear how to set staff privacy settings.

Get to know your members

This is a wonderful tool. I love that I get to see who has signed up for class. I also get to know new members and if my regulars don't show I can check up on them to see if there ok.

Avantages

Checking people in and getting to know there names in your class

Inconvénients

Once you submit your class attendance you can't change it if you made a mistake

Worst experience with customer service ever

Absolutely Nothing

Avantages

I have literally zero good to say about this program as I could never get a customer service rep to give me a clear price on how I would be billed.

Inconvénients

I don't think they even know how much this product costs. They sent me pricing links that did not work and then when I told them they didn't work, they said that was because they didn't have set prices. So I asked why anyone sent me pricing link pages to start. Then I never got a reply back.

Ik zou graag de mogelijkheid hebben om het platform nog meer naar mijn hand te zetten. Denk aan bijvoorbeeld instellingen om uit te kunnen schakelen dat klanten onze schema's kunnen uitprinten en verspreiden.

Excellent program! Definitely improved membership!

The exercise portion is great for helping more at-risk members to have a plan, the nutrition app is a great IIFYM calculator, and the NEO health trackers tie it all together to give a picture of where members are and track their progress along the way to improve retention and increase income. I would like to see the payment side more Americanized for us in the US. We don't have bic codes and such.

Avantages

Exercise programs, nutrition, and NEO bracelets. Haven't used it for membership yet.

Inconvénients

Needs to be more American-friendly in payment portion.

Virtuagym is a costly program that doesn't have the functionality to work with our business.

Avantages

The user interface is very aesthetically pleasing, especially the nutrition app. The training app exercise animation are pretty good as well.

Inconvénients

Cost. Very expensive compared to others. You can't build workout programs for a period of time. For example, a 6 week strength training program with progressions in weight/reps/sets.

The Best!

The fact that its exactly what I was looking for but couldnt afford to design it from scratch and didnt have the time to wait.

Avantages

3D Animated Exercise Library, Measurements, Heart Rate Monitor and Sync with App, Nutrition App and Journal, Challenges, Community, Workouts and this is only naming a few things. So much more

Inconvénients

Not much to say here but I would've liked have a female trainer also showing exercises.
Theres nothing else believe it or not.

Happy clients because of Virtuagym

I was starting my company VITAMIND when I saw an other trainer who was using the online system from Virtuagym. I loved it, it had exactly the features where I was searching for as a trainer to complete the request from my clients.

What I personally like is that it's a very complete software, as it includes both client-engagement and membership-management. Assigning workouts and meal plans is easily done and the support from Virtuagym is very fast and friendly.

I think Virtuagym offers a complete system to give your clients full online support to manage their (new) lifestyle.

Depending on what you're looking for, this is definitely a software I'd recommend to trainers and also to big companies as your employees can also use it for their health-measurements and -competition. ;-)

Great software to help grow my business.

Easy use for my clients to track their progress and helps me interact with them virtually.

Avantages

That is has challenges, badges, build in workout videos, and tracks your progress all from your phone!

Inconvénients

That you can't create carb cycle meal plans and you can't save meal plan templates in the app for clients.

The personalized features! The service was fine before I signed up

Inconvénients

The app is faulty. None of my videos work for iOS I have been asking for help for one month and this company does not care to give service! Absolutely shocking!

Excellent experience thus far in setting everything up. Support has been great to work with.

All the functionality I need - apps, billing, store, etc.

Avantages

Lots of options and tools within the software, yet very user friendly. Very easy to navigate through and change settings.

Inconvénients

Have to pay for it before you come online & active with clients. I wish it would start billing when I started with clients.

Terrible, pushy sales people, unsolicited deductions from credit card

Does not work as easily intended by the sales staff. Stay away and save yourself the hassle. I have just had a payment taken after confirmed cancellation, while also ticking the box for please do not store my card details for next time. SCAM

Flexible system, love the service

I am owner of Bodytec Lounge, a luxury gym with currently two locations in Amsterdam. We offer 20-minute full-body workouts using EMS. I needed a partner to share my vision regarding ease of use, efficiency and client focus.

Virtuagym helps us to offer a complete service model to our busy clients. Clients want to come in, change into their clothes, do their thing, and leave again. With Virtuagym's booking options that's easily possible. We don't have to waste any time with phone calls.

We offer a simple concept which is of high quality. Thus, we also needed a partner that offered simplicity, good service and a solid product. Virtuagym had all of that. Plus, the team really helped us out by thinking with us to solve problems. Loved that personal touch.

With Virtuagym we were able to start a partnership without any trouble. Since we didn't need the complete Virtuagym system, it was great that they were flexible and offered us a tailored version.

The Online Coach

I think the virtuagym system works great and amazing and I believe the system is well thought out and great for clients to keep track of their progress and I believe that there are some areas that can still do some work. I think if virtuagym can be combined with a service like PT distinction it will be mind blowing. But I believe the Virtuagym system has been designed for gym owners and larger scale facilities, the system is good but I would use a more specific online coaching platform.

Virtuagym make my business easier to use!

Im Very happy with using virtuagym in my business. Its a easy way to boost your business to the next level!
For me is the excersise data base for make fitness scheme for your costumers very usefull. Also im a big fan of the Nutrition! You can see how many kcal you eat and shows you a amount of different products. The costumer service is really fast with helping you if there is a problem they Will fix it.

The easy way to Use this system and the opportunity where you can use it for.

Inconvénients

Somtimes i lose my workout progress and need to make a new one. Because the page had refresht.

Gebruiksvriendelijke software

Je Facturatie wordt voor een groot stuk vereenvoudigd. Je klantenbeheer is mooi gecentraliseerd. Je krijgt mooie statistieken over de groei van de je bedrijf en je klantenbasis.

Avantages

Klantenbeheer en facturatie worden mooi overzichtelijk

Inconvénients

Dat je een extra module nodig hebt en de kosten dus oplopen om je klanten zelf hun beurtenkaarten te laten aankopen. Beetje jammer aangezien je de kosten als starter natuurlijk nog wilt beperken.

Very complete and affordable software

Avantages

That it is everything in one system: backoffice, support for your clients and CRM. It's very complete.

Inconvénients

The lack of flexibility to (for example) delete certain activities. It makes it a it unclear in some cases, especially in the beginning.

Fun product with great tools

Avantages

I like being able to track my food and fitness! The tools are easy to use and have helped me lose weight.

Inconvénients

Harder time getting a virtual group to adopt. Would work much better if we saw each other every day to reinforce good behavior.

Virtua gym has some positives, but it didn't fit with my business needs.

Avantages

The nutrition app is wonderful. It has a gorgeous design and is easy to use. Look out myfitnesspal!

Inconvénients

The training app is a bit cumbersome to use, especially the program builder. You can't build out programs for say a 6 week training block with target reps/weights/sets for your client to hit. It is too expensive for what it has to offer. Other software is better at a cheaper price.

Scam Alert

They are a scam. They lock you into a contact, tell you that you it’s your fault if they don’t hold up to their end. Promises will be made and not up held and then will let you know it’s not their fault because of the influx of new clients.

Avantages

The ideas and concept of the product is good. It could have been useful

Inconvénients

The usability is not user friendly. The “step by step” instructions only do so much.

Still learning the system

Learned pretty well with the program. Still have some features I haven’t tried or learned. It’s going good so far with what I have.

Avantages

Access for my patients to follow my programs and products on their app.

Inconvénients

I have to manually do the month to month memberships since it doesn’t automatically charge monthly.

Great tool for organize clients and increase your revenue

My first month using Virtualgym, still under process of learning and working on the design membership type, I have discover a wonderful system to make your services 5 start. My "request" is would look better is the videos of the exercises doesn't look robotics. A natural look makes the people feels that the exercises are possible and real. Upgrade the food system in same app would be 100 best seller. All in 1

Simple Tool for communicating with trainer.

Avantages

There are a lot of options and features to use in the tool. It's relatively easy to use. Nice way to communite between trainer and client.

Inconvénients

Not an easy way to upload pictures. Need more options for creating meal plans. Lacking a dashboard feature with management overview and high level reporting.

Going Well

We are still in the implementation process. Normal hiccups but the support team is extremely responsive. Our members are already getting good use out of several of the features.

cons
- not enough Yoga exercises
- looks a bit to 'sporty' to me. Would like it to be more mindfull
