A Great Tool

Avantages

The ability to program workouts with a wide variety of movements archived in the system helps keep the workout creative for clients

Inconvénients

The workouts I create become locked after a couple weeks, so I cannot go back use the same one for another client once it's locked

best program in the fitness industry

Having this program has helped me to expand my clients

Avantages

What I liked most about this program is the large amount of exercises. The application of training and nutrition are fantastic. Customers will be really happy.

Inconvénients

What I liked the least is the time taken to build a training card. It can be improved.

Good product to help clients when you are not with then

Avantages

The demonstration videos for each exercise are accurate and easy to follow for all my clients

Inconvénients

Some exercises are difficult to find when building a workout for my clients. Very rare but it has happened.

Making training easy

Great tool to use!

Avantages

I love how easy it is to navigate and the videos make my clients feel confident in the gym when I’m not with them :)

Inconvénients

When I upload workouts using my phone they don’t sync quickly or at all to clients or the website version.

VirtuaGym Review

Again customer service is very frustrating. You get "on-boarded" then dropped after your "on-boarding" time is up. Then you have to deal with waiting for answers. Many times you are just directed back to their "help" webpage, which is not very helpful. If I am contacting you that means that I want to speak with a person.

Avantages

We like the fact that there is a fitness and nutrition aspect and that it can be individualized for each of our clients.

Inconvénients

Customer Service is AWFUL. You get different answers from different representatives. Questions are not answered in a timely manner. Sometimes you do not even hear back. Also there are many things that are in the process of potentially being integrated, but should already be set up (ex starting a week on Monday).

Great application

Avantages

the mobile application is very user friendly and the portal is stable with almost no downtimes

there are few bugs regarding member's activity and also with the time that notifications are sent

Very disappointing

I am highly disappointed in the services I have received thus far as a member with Virtuagym. There is no IPad supported app even tho the picture on your website suggests there is. The Netbanx payment system is extremely slow I’ve waited a full week for a payment and it’s still not in my bank account. Uploading custom workouts and video is very inconvenient and requires way too many steps. Overall dissatisfied and I wish I chose a different company.

Avantages

I like that you can assign workouts that are demonstrated by video.

Inconvénients

Creating custom workouts and videos require way too many steps. Everything is cloud based making the entire system move slowly. You have to log on to a desktop to perform most functions because the app only allows workout assignment and progress view. The Paysafe payment system take forever to deposit money into the bank. The list goes on and on. I truly wish i had spent my money with a different company.

Virtuagym Software Review

Ability to control access to the gym remotely as I manage my gym from overseas.

Avantages

Ability to schedule entrance times for different memberships.
Credit system which enables tp offer different classes to members.

Inconvénients

Hard to navigate at first, takes time to get used to it.

Superb assistance for customers

Avantages

This App is highly adaptable and effective in handling reservations, monitoring activities, and billing processes. Additionally, their response to any incidents has been excellent in terms of support and care.

Inconvénients

Since I'm new, I haven't encountered any drawbacks or downsides yet.

BEWARE OF ONE YEAR CONTRACT

They did not explain that it was a year long contract until after I had signed it. In the sales pitches and in my questions, they never disclosed that it was a one year contract.
It has taken me 6 months to cancel my service, and even then, I am not confident that it will be cancelled.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.

Avantages

I was excited that we could customize it to our needs. It took ALOT of work and training, but we were able to make it look very custom for our employees.

Inconvénients

HORRIBLE Customer service. In the beginning when they were selling me and training me - the rep was extremely kind and communicative - then they just dropped me. After I was "trained" she handed me off to someone who was supposed to implement some changes for me, and she never did. It took me months to get someone on the phone and by that time I was ready to quit.
Also- the software is NOT user friendly.

A user-friendly app!

I started working with the Virtuagym software a few months ago and I am quite pleased with the experience so far! It was important for me to get an app that was personalized and had the functionalities that I needed for myself and my clients. Virtuagym did just that for me! They took the time to understand my needs and offered me a monthly plan targeted to that; they didn't try to sell me extra systems or functionalities that I didn't need. I really appreciated that! Their customer service is absolutely A+++! They always get back to me quickly by email or phone (which is great; who calls people anymore right?!), they offer webinars when you get started and so much more! Everyone I spoke with was super nice, friendly and helpful! As the software itself, I like how easy it is to use and how quickly my clients understand how to track their food, follow their training programs (awesome exercises videos!), join a challenge, etc., thanks to the helpful tips you can find directly on the app when you first download it or on their support database on their website. The only thing I would like to see them add in the future is the option of doing all the admin stuff (professional coach account) from the app itself and not only from a browser. I would like to be able to send my clients messages, see their food diary, plan their workouts from my phone too via the app - just to make everything more accessible! But overall, a great app, great customer service and super easy to use!

The Gym that goes anywhere with you

I have ben using the app now for almost 4 months and my community has really embraced it. The learning curve was small and it is fun to use.

Avantages

The app is straight forward and built for novice users as well as daily users. One key feature that it excels at is the workout plans. The workout plans help you achieve goals from a novice level and up. If the preplanned workouts are not your fit you can build your own and share them with your club or community.

Inconvénients

The only main con that I can think of is if you want t track your nutrition you need to have a separate app downloaded to do that. This is cumbersome. It would be nice if this was tied into the main app.

Great support and large exercise database

Avantages

Customer service and support is quite excellent through their live chat! It's an extensive system, lots to learn still.
I enjoy the endless possibilities to create workouts from a huge database of exercises and the ability to create and track meals. It is very handy that Virtuagym syncs with my fitbit.

Inconvénients

It has been working great for me so far! Will report back once I have used it more in depth.

Gebruiksvriendelijk, uitstekende klantenservice en professioneel design en werking van de app is top!

Avantages

Alles is overzichtelijk, professioneel ingericht en de klantenservice is zeer klantvriendelijk. Weinig klantenservices kunnen hier tegen op. Bellen of mailen je terug met re-actieve service (nemen dus ook achteraf nog contact met je op als ze ergens niet uit komen)

Inconvénients

Eerst kon je nog in het oude rooster (via je mobiel) klanten toevoegen aan een les, dit kan nou helaas niet meer en moet alles via de computer.

Best Small facility software!

At first I was frustrated with people not using the product I was giving them. But now I am super happy with what I have.

Avantages

The business truly cares about if you are actually making money. They may put you on a higher scale but it is to see how well your business will boom with the product. If it doesn't they lower the amount! Great people for sure!

Inconvénients

Some things are hard to understand the function of. But they give excellent support!

Love the booking feature for group classes.

Inconvénients

scheduler doesn't allow you to cancel/reschedule appointment without completely deleting it in the scheduling feature. Scheduler doesn't allow to confirm that the appointment happened or not.

I love using virtuagym as a trainer, but even more so as a business owner. It has made my client management so much more efficient. My absolute favorite part is the simple set up of the body metrics! As a trainer, it is imperative that you keep good notes, as well as document accurate changes in their body, strength, cardio, etc. And since we do this weekly, the paper stacked up fast in each client folder. Now, I save the paper cost, and purchased an additional laptop for the gym. We can't say enough good things about virtuagym and their staff! Happy to be a part of the team!

the workout builder needs to hurry with the options of circuit workouts, and drop sets.

Virtuagym is allowing me to better manage my business as well as my clients to earn better monthly profits!

Avantages

For my business, the appointment schedule and check in system is the most impactful. The software is user-friendly and the customer service is excellent. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] walked with me every step of the way until I understood the system!

My clients sometimes have a hard time understanding the nutrition portion of the mobile app.

Great software i could not imagine going back to the old way of doing things after using...

Avantages

The mobile app online portal is great it has saved me so many hours designing plans and I can check and change a client's diets and training. I can also add training plans straight to their account so they have something to follow between one to one sessions as well as giving clients all a printed copy or training plans. I have always had a great service from the virtuagym staff members have always been very helpful and quick to respond to any issues I have had. I have enjoyed using the software so much that I have even referred a few other personal trainers and I could not imagine going back to the old way of doing things after using virtuagym.

Inconvénients

Can be hard for new users to use the app to the full potential but if you take the time clients will use the app and get more benefits from it once you show them how.

Group Exercise Scheduling

Helps manage our entire group exercise schedule in one place.

Avantages

Quick and easy to make any changes on the schedule, time of class, instructor, location of class. I like that we can email members asap with any changes too.

Not able to pull good reports for tracking

Great app, can use minor improvements

I enjoy the app a lot, I really like the workout feature. I would love it if there was a before and after feature in the app for clients and if they were able to keep up with body metrics. The nutrition app can use some updating as well. But all in all I'm really satisfied with the app in its features.

Avantages

The scheduler and booking features are great as well as the workout plans you can build. The coaching and workout builder is my favorite feature

Inconvénients

There isn't a way for the clients to post before and after pics. The nutrition app is kind of confusing for clients, it could use a update. The workouts disappear if you don't do them on the day scheduled.

Don’t sign the contract

It was bad, they don’t consider other people loss but their own profilt

Avantages

Good software but very expensive in terms of returns.

Inconvénients

They make you sign some contracts and you have to stick with them for year and they ll keep cutting you amount from your account even if in middle they stop their services.

Not bad admin side but client side is ok

Overall it can be a useful app but it's a bit much for the options considering the other alternatives.

Avantages

I like how easy it is for scheduling and the branded app options through the program. There's also the announcements which are helpful.

Inconvénients

From the client user end, it's an ok presentation. Clients found it to be a bit wonky at times, and a little confusing to use at times. However, signing up for classes went well.

Your personal training: anytime, anywhere

In general, happy. It fulfills what it promises and works.

Love it!

Avantages

I love that it is frequently updated, new exercise are added often, it's clear/easy/concise to use. My clients like the "in app" tutorials and I hear overall great things from my clients!

Inconvénients

I wish when creating a workout you could do more things like supersets, circuits, etc. I also wish you could do timed OR repetitions for each exercise instead of having to make a an exercise for each.

Not what I expected

Virtuagym did not deliver the product they promised and I can see a big gap between our sales call and what I actually got in return. Does not worth the price. Not recommended at all!

Avantages

The most valuable feature is the ability to customize almost everything and the freedom to control the design and the different tiles

Inconvénients

Customer service is poor, they don't have an office in the US. Onboarding process is very poor and very long while we are paying an unfinished product. Most of the built in features like 'workouts' 'challenges' and 'schedule' are very limited and not easy to use.

Too difficult to use.

Unfortunately not very good. I am still trying to learn it, while paying for it. I can't cancel my subscription so I'm stuck with it.

Avantages

The exercise videos for clients are precise and helpful.

Inconvénients

The ease of use is non existed. The team that is supposed to be on-boarding you is backed up due to the Corona virus and thus busy with helping their past clients. Their on line learning tools are all across the board with the explanations and help you very little. There was no trial period. The cost is so much more than listed here. Every time I go to implement something into the app and run into a roadblock, I can't find the solution.

Virtuagym is a very customer-friendly program, easy to learn, easy to use

Avantages

Good overview and access of all functions; easy to use app for members; nice tool for coaches to communicate with their clients;

Inconvénients

Too limited tolls for management-overviews:
- not possible to make printable periodical overviews (monthly - yearly)
- making specific queries is limited or even not possible (memberships, periodical results, products and so on),
- making periodical financial reports is not possible

Comments: Virtuagym delivers! Ever since I requested a demo, they have been on top of literally everything. From showing me what benefits and features the system entails, to using the system to its full capacity and updating me on new features, such as the web shop.

Pros: the organization itself is very professional, and I can tell as I've visited the office. Other than that I'm really liking the fact that it's such a robust system, with both coaching and retention tools. Lastly, I'd say the number of features they've been able to push through, with a community, a webshop and payment processing as some recent examples.
Cons: not that I was ever told this was going to be build, but I'd like to see a lead follow up section at some point.
Recommendations to other buyers: I'm positive you will save plenty of time and be able to retain your customers for a way longer period of time. Your members are going to like the challenges and community part!

variety of workout plans available, easy to use after figuring it oout

Inconvénients

took me a long time to figure out how to find the classes i wanted and learn how to do my own program, would have been nice to have a tutorial at the beginning to help learning curve

Functional, easy, up to date

Avantages

Little effort for a maximum of work. A lot of exercices. Good bookkeeping and administration . Food app is good

Inconvénients

Conflict in use with clients of basic fit. Some gsm's dont work good with the app's . For the rest Ok!

Virtuagym is the best!

We like the software very much. It helps us focus on the important things.

Avantages

Everything at one place, nice design and very much options.

Inconvénients

The health following possibility's. Wanted more options to connect with like garmin, polar etc.
