Intégration naturelle avec tout l'environnement google et les appli bureau / téléphone ainsi que la facilité de configuration.

Inconvénients

Peu de fonctionnalités en définitive, il y a plus d'options sur une simple ligne OVH côté téléphonie et la vue des contacts est perfectible, par ex impossible d'ouvrir une fiche prospect complète depuis google voice.

Avantages

Transferring existing numbers was a breeze, we had zero issues setting up new lines, linking mobile phones to numbers and with a Google integrated system, our IT Management was easy as possible.

Inconvénients

Be aware - CANADIAN users - Google Voice doesn't support SMS or text based features for Canadian phone numbers.

This means no access to authentication systems required for mobile and remote work.

That made the product a none starter for us, and after moving our whole system over, we had to move it right back to a competing service that offered SMS features.

Avantages

It allows me to have a work number that keeps my work communication separate from my personal. This is very useful for me. It is easy to use and functions how I need it to, especially for my role.

Inconvénients

It does not give me caller ID very often. It also does not let me create contacts within the app; I can only create them through the website on my computer which is not as efficient as I would like.

All you need is internet access to use Google Voice, which produces clear calls.

The majority of my clients are in the United States. It primarily calls the USA free.

I enjoy the aspect where I can receive calls on various devices. For someone who works occasionally remotely from the outside, it is crucial to use this product to separate my private life.

Inconvénients

Call recordings are not available. As I use call recordings to ensure that proper services are calling purposes it is crucial to have a recording feature which Google Voice does not have. Due to this reason, I constantly have to resort to utilizing a third party feature for recording.

Avantages

Google Voice is easy to use, a simple interface. It is great that the user is able to also access Google Voice online and call from the computer as well as text. The user is able to listen to voicemails and do everything that one would do on a phone, from a computer.

Inconvénients

When used in conjunction with a phone and receiving a phone call, it only shows the Google Voice number, not the caller ID number. The user is able to see if after the call has been completed but it would be great if one could see the number in real-time.

What I like the most is the ease of access. The app sits on my phone and I can literally access it as I access my regular communication tools that I use for my personal life. I don't need to carry around a second phone nor I need to do anything special or complicated. Really makes things easier and convenient.

Inconvénients

At the beginning I had issues with connection of the phone calls. It was hard to identify whether it was a call on my personal number or on my Google number. But I have learned how to use the app better and the app has improved since them. That'd be my only con. User experience and interaction, I guess.

I have been using Google Voice since they had limited invites and from the beginning until now this is probably one of the best tools created in the last 10 years to be honest. The ability to have a free number that forwards to any number is great you can even use your laptop, tablet, or phone for free as an option as long as you have wifi enabled. My calls have never dropped, sms and mms is efficient and you can literally have as many numbers as you have Google accounts.

Inconvénients

Major con would be somehow you get random calls from people who may have purchased your number somewhere. Also the call screening message lets people know you are using a Google voice number when someone calls you if you dont change it

We love that it's integrated with other Google services. Our business really runs off Google, and it makes it easy to add this tool to the mix. The app is simple and easy to use, not extra clutter. It's crazy easy to set up, and it's hard to beat the price!

I think with any virtual number, there are some tricky aspects to getting the calls to come through to the device correctly. Not sure if this is a Google specific issue at all, but I've always struggled with any virtual number to answer the calls in time, sometimes it only rings once.

It is very useful to have Google Voice as an additional phone number for your business and forwarding calls to your phone, but it has some downfalls. I love only getting emails with the transcribed voicemails and not having to listen to them.

I love the functionality, but hate the constant spam calls and spam voice mails. Within a few days of getting a Google Voice through a company I work with, I was getting 2 to 4 spam calls/voicemails a week, which was extremely annoying.

Google voice is invaluable to our business in that it is a free resource for us to use which helps us be cost conscious in addition to the fact that it is integrated with all of the other Google suite of products which only adds to its value.

My one and only complaint about Google voice is the fact that it is not a “free for life” phone number that you can link to your business. If you don’t have incoming calls after a certain period of time, Google will cancel the phone number.

I think the best part about google voice is that it offers you free numbers. It is a very easy software to use and you can even port in existing numbers as well. This is a great service for a business.
