Easy to Use

Avantages

Very easy to use and get setup. Had no problems getting signed in and started.

Inconvénients

There wasn't really anything that I liked least about the software. It was very easy to use.

Good Product But..

Avantages

It's an easy to use product and good integration with Expensify.

Inconvénients

Checking into an airline, specifically SWA, the attributes do not transfer. For example, I need to copy the confirmation code, first name, and last name in order to check-in.

Simple, quick, easy.

It has been great, I would recommend this to anyone.

Avantages

TripActions is an easy way to book business travel. The company card is already attached to my account and gives me many options for hotels and flights. Their customer service was excellent as well, I had to change my flights last minute and their team was able to help me adjust without any issues at all.

Inconvénients

Nothing so far. I have used TripActions with my company for the last few months and it has been the easiest way I have seen to book corporate travel.

Great Customer Service

Mostly pretty good, good integration with expensify.

Avantages

Tripactions customer service always feels like they're there for me whenever I have a question or issue.

Inconvénients

Price discrepancies from other mainstream travel booking sites exist.

Just easy to use

Keeps costs associated with travel down.

Avantages

UI and setting up profile is simple. Search function set up and changing a search is simple too. Credits for Amazon are great too.

Inconvénients

Nothing comes to mind with the use of the software.

User Friendly, Plenty of Perks

Avantages

Extremely easy to use. Love that there's a user friendly mobile app as well. On top of all that come some pretty great perks that I don't think anybody could possibly complain about.

Inconvénients

Maybe this one's on me - but it automatically (or I didn't read the fine print carefully enough) booked a hotel for me with the non flexible option (the cheapest). Usually my team and I need flexibility so I never choose this option, and in this case, I needed to cancel my last night with the hotel I chose. I couldn't because I was unaware I was booked with the non flexible price. If the platform could make it a little more clear which option you're diving into, that'd be ideal!

Rock Star Travel Service

I feel like always have a travel assistant in my pocket because of TripActions. The mobile app is so easy to use and I never worry when flight delays happen because I know TripActions agents will help me out and save the day!

The dates don't automatically match up with your itinerary when booking a car rental

Tripactions saves our company lots of money by incentivizing booking cheap flights/hotels while traveling which we do a lot.

Avantages

Love that you can get rewarded for saving your company money. Makes compare and contrasting rates very easily.

Inconvénients

Have experienced a few glitches or hiccups when booking but nothing too crazy and have always received good support and got it taken care of.

Great way to book travel

Avantages

It’s been easy to book or reschedule work and personal travel. The support team has helped me numerous times with booking or rebooking with last minute changes.

Inconvénients

I understand there are some limitations set by company on types of flight tickets or rooms but I do wish I could still book them from tripactions and simply not expense the extra amount.

Simply and easy to use!

Avantages

I love that TripActions makes it easy to book travel for work while also showing me what flights my colleagues may be on.

Inconvénients

Canceling and rebooking a flight can be a pain but then again it is a pain no matter what app you are using.

Easy, efficient and awesome!

Overall, TripActions takes all the stress out of travel, the booking is seamless and they can accommodate any request you have!

Avantages

It is super easy to find flights when you want go leave, at a price my company is willing to pay. I love that you can filter for in policy flights/hotels so you don't wait your time trying to book something out of policy. I love the map feature on the hotels so you can easily book close to where you will need to be in any given city.

Inconvénients

I have not yet found something I do not like about this software.

Great job guys!

Great job overall. I became familiar with how to use the program very quickly and it is still my preferred method to book business travel.

The whole process feels very streamlined and simple.

Sometimes the cost is just sliiiiightly more expensive that other softwares that we use.

Get paid to save money!

I appreciate the real-time customer support via chat. The site is very easy to navigate, my personal information is easy to update (plus add new memberships), and it's clear to see if your searches are within company's pricing policy.

Avantages

Rewards, I've never been incentivized to save money by choosing a cheaper hotel or flight. Also, the integration with the iPhone app. I love that all my flight tickets, hotel and car are in own place, easy to find.

Inconvénients

No price matching. I've found hotels that are a few hundred dollars less and I wasn't able to buy for the price on TripActions.

Overall experience using TripActions has been really good. I would definitely recommend it to my colleagues.

It also has rewards for saving employer money.
It has the ability to customize the trip to our preferences such as departure time or airline.

Inconvénients

TripActions needs to increase its partnership to cover more major airlines.
Would be better to have more information regarding places to stay that can justify their ratings.

What an amazing travel tool!

Avantages

TripActions has made booking travel so much easier! It is amazing where I can earn Amazon Rewards while booking travel I normally would take for my business trips. I am also a fan of how they can ingest all of my Frequent Flyers, Hotels, etc. to match up where I will get the best pricing for reward.

Inconvénients

The initial set up of inputting all of my rewards cards was a pain and I have found the customer support chat NEVER works.

TripAction is a must

We were running through the SF airport and our gate kept changing and the TripAction app didn't skip a beat... always updated the flight into in real-time.

-The real-time updates (flight status updates, gate changes, etc)

Beautifully designed travel booking site with performance to back it up

To date, TripActions provides the best online travel booking experience.

Avantages

The user experience is excellent, from the fast onboarding time, to searching for travel options, to the friendly and omnipresent support chat. There's even a gamification aspect where you can select lower cost options and get rewards for saving the company money. Most importantly, the search is very comprehensive and there are many selections to choose from. Support is also amazing and can help with booking or other issues.

Inconvénients

The expensify integration is pretty basic, would have liked to see deeper integration. Occasionally you'll see some oddities when it comes to pricing. TripActions pulls from a number of different sources to find hotel options, it would be nice if you could filter the sources from the options page.

TripActions Pros and Cons

Avantages

I like how your software has an app that makes booking trips on the go very easy. You always have a lot of options available. I was surprised by the number of high-end hotels that have deals. Makes traveling a lot easier when you are gone most of the month.

Inconvénients

When I need to book a multi-city flight, This is usually a complicated process with the times you offer. Booking hotels is easy, but I think flight options need to be better.

Wouldn't use another tool

TripActions saves me time which is the most valuable thing to me.

Avantages

I can't tell how much I value someone taking care of my travel. Last month I needed to change my reservation and within a matter of 2 minutes, TripActions had it taken care of. You hear a lot of companies that are "customer-obsessed" or "customer-focused" but TripActions is the only company to show me that.

Inconvénients

I wish I could book personal travel the same way I book corporate travel.

Honest and Quality

The software and the support is very effectiveness and helpful.

Avantages

I used TripActions for manage my trip. Me and my friends had 4 flights each one, so we need to contact the support to help us to mark our places, the support team attended us in an amazing way, with very attention, friendly and effectiveness. I am very satisfied with the service.

Inconvénients

The first time I used, I had some difficult to see my dashboard flights with an adaptation in the timezones, but it was quickly resolved.

Awesome booking app

My company uses this app a lot for booking of staff trips and I use it to book my trip to New York September last year. I can say the app is awesome and friendly.

Avantages

The software is VERY easy to use and intuitive. When I have had an issue with a hotel or reservation, the instant chat was most helpful and the customer service reps immediately took care of my issues! Great all around!

Inconvénients

Some of us have gotten a bit confused with the combination of trips... if you book a hotel separate from your air reservation, we got confused trying to combine them. Not a big deal.

Peace of Mind for Growth and Scale

I like it. I think it's a good way to manage corporate travel expenses. It's easy to use, customer services always is there to help and try to find you the best deals

The rewards program. I like the fact that I can plan my entire trip for all my coworkers on one platform.

Inconvénients

When I want to book a flight sometimes it shows up as sold out. I have to refresh the page or reach out to a Customer Rep for them to do the purchase for me.

TripActions is Fantastic

TripActions has been very easy to use and allows me, and my team, to stay within our company policies without doing anything outside of TripAction. The mobile app makes it extremely easy to access all trip information as well.

Avantages

The ease of access to my itineraries as well as the ability to book colleagues travel at the same time to ensure flights/hotels are the same.

Avantages

My job uses this for booking travel. It takes you from flight/car to hotel options seamlessly and links with your company's expense platform so you can get your money back quickly. I think it's great!

Inconvénients

There was hardly a learning curve at all. I wouldn't even count it as one. The software it great.

Amazing, but why not offer all the available price points???

Avantages

The mobile funcationality was great. I can easily make changes from my mobile app and get a chat going with a customer service rep in moments.

Inconvénients

At times, I was able to find better price points on flights directly from the Delta or Southwest website. That being said, I purchased outside of the app which defeated the point of using it.

White Glove Service

It's been great using TripActions. I used to book travel through individual airline, hotel, and car rental sites. This is way quicker and less stressful

What I like most is ease of use and its available as an app as well. I'm in the field a lot so I book from my phone and computer the same. Its great both ways.

Trip Actions makes everything simple, which in the world of last-minute bookings and searches, is greatly appreciated. The UI is very intuitive / small learning curve.

Inconvénients

Flights in particular don't seem to aggregate to the lowest prices seen on other sites - wish some of the more aggressive rates could be available here.

We have just started with TripActions, and it is pretty slow ramping up.

Tracking on travel.

Avantages

I love that it incentivizes more cost effective travel and accommodations. Creating better behavior in booking travel seems to be more rewarding for most people. I also enjoy that it is not a monthly cost that we are locked into, it is pay to play. With the size of my company, that makes a lot of financial sense.

Inconvénients

I think it would be great if TripActions could work on a sort of rubric for what limits/budgets they suggest for all major cities. This would help in setting up the any sort of limitations for travelers.

i like it

it was great

Avantages

- easy to use
- trip related itineraries in one place
- option to lyft to particular trip location
- checking in on the app and scanning app instead of paper when onboarding
- no papers were printed

Inconvénients

maybe that the lyft routes gave me weird routing?
it would be nice to see selections of routes before going on the lyft app

Easy to use with responsive customer service

Avantages

It's easy to use and find what you need and the filters are great. Also the customer service is prompt and very helpful and friendly.

Inconvénients

Having to log into another platform. However, once you're logged in it streamlines other websites and options, creating a nice experience.

The customer support is the best!

-Ability to have Corporate CC pay for trips, instead of waiting for reimbursement

TripActions Makes works travel easy

Avantages

I like the ease of booking on TripActions. I can easily use my personal payment or the company card and the information feeds directly into our reimbursement software.

Inconvénients

I have not had any bad experiences with TripActions.

Avantages

This software literally takes all of the stress out of my travel planning. It shows me the best value for my dollar and I actually really love that it shows me where my colleagues have stayed before. Best feedback is via word of mouth! To top it all all, the customer service is exceptional! I've had to chat in a few times to have some things adjusted for business travel and they quickly took care of EVERYTHING for me. It seriously was a breeze. 10/10 would recommend to any business. We are lucky to have TripActions!

Great tool for business travel

Travel booking is easy with TripActions

Avantages

Super easy to use, easy to book seats on air travel, great modern UI, and customer service is incredible.

Inconvénients

Nothing. A few of my colleagues have experienced customer service issues but I have not.
