I'm yet to find something I don't like, the system is only as good as the people entering the data, so its down to the end users

The product does everything it should and is very easily customisable. The candidates also have their own portal to update. The support team are also excellent.

There is nothing I can think of to improve the software however the team at Firefish do the thinking and come up with improvements that actually benefit the user

Being able to see all candidates CV's in one database. The system sends bulk emails to candidates which is a great feature.

Sometimes the software completely crashes or runs slow which means we are unable to use it to its full use.

Ease of posting new jobs via our website and other job boards, sending out mass job alerts, SMS etc etc. Massive change from our previous system which was completely not fit for purpose.

It isn't integrated with Indeed sadly so there is still a manual process we need to do for job posting.

General ease of use is very good. Helps speed up the recruitment processes by doing a lot of the hard work for you. It is a smart and modern system which is consistently improving as they are always developing it further.

The only one thing it doesn't do which previous systems have for us is allow us to search our individual jobs by distance from a postcode. We do volume recruitment so this would be very handy when searching multiple jobs for candidates

Firefish is generally very easy to navigate, the UX/UI design makes it easy to switch between screens etc.

There are no features off the top of my head that I can think of.

I preferred it and Firefish came back to me much quicker than the others, I felt they wanted my business. I had a demo that day and didn't feel that I was being pushed into a hard sell.

Avantages

What I really like is the fact that Firefish are so proactive at keeping you up to dates with any updates and give lots of guidance on how to improve the whole experience, they give daily videocasts on advice and constantly bringing out industry ideas. I love the frequent contact which is unusual for the recruitment industry which is usually so cloak and dagger.

Inconvénients

Very minor things - like we have the SMS package with firefish, I wish there was a more glaring notification when responses came through.

It is easy to use and can track my roles with ease.

Inconvénients

On the contractor side of things, it's a little less user friendly - ie. changing a start date, amending a contract without deleting the first one and not able to reinstate a candidate who has been terminated.

It has been designed by people in the recruitment industry, it is intuitive and there are multiple ways to reach the same goal. It understands people are not all wired the same way and you can play about with it so that it is efficient for your needs. I hardly required any training to understand how to use it because it was designed to make sense instinctively.

I have not discovered anything yet which I am not happy with.

The Web 2 interactive system has completely changed how people look for work and talent. FireFish use the advances in technology to completely change the way recruitment and finding the right job/talent is done. It is faster, more accurate, effective and fully GDHR compliant. It protects the personal data and still make enough information available to match the right candidates with the requirements of the job.

Inconvénients

As with any full-featured application, there is a learning curve to get familiar with all the features. Online help, videos, webinars and live training is available to assist and get the job done and shorten the learning curve.

Avantages

Since using Firefish it has been so much easier to manage our candidate database and active roles. The system is very intuitive and user friendly which was a deciding factor when reviewing systems. The support from the helpdesk if efficient & friendly. I find it fantastic value and would highly recommend it.

The pre-defined reports are great however I find the report builder a little difficult to navigate.

It offers easy to navigate, eye catching software that would accompany the businesses in house recruiting model in place. I felt Hiring Managers would benefit from the visibility and user friendly approach to recruitment that the Firefish system provides, something that was often over complicated by other similar platforms.

Not found it yet. I appreciate its core audience is agency side but it has integrated well with our requirements as an inhouse function.

The features that I use the most are the search functions, the talent pools and add new person. As an admin I also do a lot of work organising the database, so the new features such as merging are very useful. The system is easy to use, I felt comfortable with most of the system after a couple of days using it. I like how customisable some things are and it would be great if more could be customised.

I sometimes have issues with the system slowing down. It would be good if there was a way to bulk update candidates.

The ease of use when processing candidates through the interview process. The simple way to populate all candidate information directly from an email attachment. The fun updates on special days e.g Christmas/Halloween ha!

Nothing to note. Reviewing candidate CVs used to be a bit of a pain but an update rectified this where you can now simply hover over the candidate and get a CV preview.

Firefish is a fantastic bit of a software that puts other archaic recruitment CRM to shame.

I dislike the fact it is built into a browser rather than a standalone app. I appreciate this lets you use it from any device but as always you are at the discretion of the browser and not all browsers are built alike.

Interface is very easy and new starts to the company can be on-boarded very quickly! If you feel FireFish should make any improvements they have an open community site where ideas are talked through, shared and voted on and regularly updated.

Generating reports can sometimes be a bit confusing but this may be down to my own understanding rather than what FF can do. It is a powerful product with good analytics.

I have been using firefish now for almost 2 years, having used a number of different CRM/ATS in the past i like this one. It is very simple to use, has lots of features which I am sure i dont know all yet. But for what I use it for its perfect.

Frirefish is the most efficiant CRM system I have used in recruitment. The functionalities make your life easier and support less admin, which is always a bonus! The team are quick to respond to queries and I love how you can highlight recommendations to make it better and they listen! Everything all in one place with a papertrail that covers all your tracks. Highly recommended and easy to use.

I think a consultant visiting the office to provide training would be useful as I don't feel I know everything about the system and may be missing more tricks!

Firefish is easy to use, fast and extremely reliable. Their support team are also excellent - available, responsive and keen to provide the right solutions for you. And all at a very competitive cost in the market. We're a small recruitment business, and moved from a server-based to this, our first cloud-based system. The Firefish team were superb at helping make this transition as smooth as possible. Features I particularly like (which we didn't have on our old - and more expensive - setup): fast CV previews and links to LinkedIn for quick candidate updates; auto updating talent pools; and easy candidate mailshots.

Inconvénients

Firefish provides all the key elements that we need from a system like this. Yes, there are a couple of small things that we'd like to tailor but can't, however, I don't think any system will be a 100% perfect fit (at least not without far greater cost). The team are also great at exploring these points where they arise to find the most effective solution.

There is nothing on this system targeted for Temporary recruitment. Its very difficult to keep everything updated. Even features like an availability calendar would help (Some candidates can work Mon, Thurs and Fri. The system as a whole is great and i would love it as a perms consultant but i work a temp desk and the system does not help at all.
