My life would be TERRIBLE without Ziprecruiter

I personally adore this job board. Like I mentioned, it has bought diversity of applicants through our office doors and made our business a lot more like a family environment given the fact that we have different levels of experience that we are hiring. I think it is great and makes my job extremely easy.

Avantages

Ziprecruiter is my go to Job Board as a Hiring Manager. Ziprecruiter not only has great affordable plans but they truly cast the widest net when it comes to applicants. Coming from a place where I was only budgeted for Indeed, Ziprecruiter has opened up doors by advertising to every board from Monster to Linkedin. It has truly been a game changer and we have seen numerous people come through our doors that have been sharp and well qualified individuals. Each applicant has their own story and we have met great employees through this software and that is because Ziprecruiter leaves no stone unturned. They really are the best contenders in the job seeing world!

Inconvénients

The one issue I would say would be the "Quick Apply". From my experience, sometimes the quick apply is so easy for applicants it makes my job as a Hiring Manager a little tough. This is due to the fact that when an applicant is on a job application frenzy, they will apply for anything and everything meaning they do not necessarily remember applying/apply by mistake. This results in a lot of confusion and wasted time when reaching out to applicants. If there was maybe more of a screening process involved so the applicants are required to read and check what they're apply for, it'd make a huge difference!

For when you need a job, or a new employee, in a zip...

It gets exhausting submitting applications for available positions now that virtually all employers application process is now online. Having to enter the same information, over and over, turns the job hunt from being a propitious event full of hope and promise into a dull, dreary task full of monotony. Many times I have found a position I am very interested in and would qualify for, but end up not applying simply out of dread. As a result, many companies have missed out on the best employee for the job: me!

ZipRecruiter turns the job hunt experience around on its head. It's based on the premise that today's fast-paced business environment leaves prospective applicants little time and impetus to apply for the open positions employers need to fill. In order to attract the best candidates for listed openings - many of whom are already employed and have time constraints - the new user on ZipRecruiter's platform "applies" for a "job" in the form of filling out their profile. From there, the user simply needs to peruse job listings, and when something of interest is found, he or she clicks on "apply" and for most positions, that's it, they are done - in a zip! Employers receive the profile data which serves as the application for the posted job, and their unique approach facilitates finding the best candidates for the position.

Avantages

As a project work employee that relies on my employer being awarded relevant contracts, my job search for more permanent, suitable employment has been sporadic but ongoing for several years now. ZipRecruiter turns an otherwise off-putting chore into a simple, easy task, that lets the busy professional apply for job openings with one click and that's it for most listed positions.

Inconvénients

ZipRecruiter's algorithm for recommendations matching job seekers with job openings could use some fine-tuning.

The best tool to recruit the high callibre candidates.

I have gained much of the benefits from the whole recruiting procedure which had allowed me to gain more insights about the right candidates and connecting me with them. It allows me to filter the high caliber candidates in a more efficient way rather than the standard channels which only brings out the available individuals. It always led me towards making the right choices for me as well as for my company.

Avantages

The overall effectiveness of this tool depends on whom and from which industry sector you are trying to hire the candidates. There are some productive results from few campaigns and quite low for the other ones. Well, it is quite easy to post the required position without any kind of struggle at all and within few minutes its starts infiltrating the appropriate candidates for you. The ads are most visually pleasing and attracts more audience with creative content lines. We can also filter the right candidate for us by targeting specific candidates, location, education and experience. It is great recruiting tool specifically for the recruiters allowing them to improve the efficiency of their work.

Inconvénients

This tool brings itself some serious issues that requires the attention of the users and the management. The foremost thing that requires utmost improvement is their own customer support which always doesn't responds to us in more directly way. They always try to lure us with some hefty pricey plans which are not even required at all. There's also abundance of notifications and alerts that we have to sort out manually. The recruiting process is somehow simplified with this tool but it is mostly same like mailing approach and not anything much better.

Good but not Great

I've stopped using ZipRecruiter do to Customer Service related issues. I was offered a lifetime discount and so many resume views per month upon signing up and then a year later was told that they were no longer honoring their initial offer and I should never have been offered that in the first place. That was it for me, I had a generally positive experience with them, but I can't pay money to a company that doesn' t keep their word, and they didn't care about keeping me as a customer either. No apologies or another form of compensation was offered, just a simple shouldn't have happened, sorry about your luck (without the sorry). So, I took my business elsewhere.

Avantages

ZipRecruiter is a good product, but it also depends on who you are trying to hire. Some industries get a better response rate than others. I like the overall quality of applicants. It's easy to use the self-explanatory system. You generally start receiving applications within seconds of posting jobs, if it's in the category that does well with their audience.

Inconvénients

Their system algorithm is a bit off; I will get a candidate they recommend to me that either doesn't have the right experience at all or has terrible job tenure but will have a "High" rating. I understand that they are not a deciding factor based on Job Tenure, but anyone who is a hiring manager knows that job tenure is significant. Another thing I didn't like about using ZipRecruiter is they recommend your jobs based on specific information that sometimes isn't' allowed to be shared upfront, like salary or client name and based on this you get a lower view rates and lower recommendations. It should be based solely on credentials of candidates applying that jobs are recommended too, NOT based on those things. Another thing I didn't like about ZipRecruiter is that locations have to be exact; you were able to post as a "work from home" or "remote" opportunities in the location option. They did have a tag for it, but then you couldn't specify industry because you had to tag it as remote and not say "healthcare."

Real Person Real Review

This does the job at helping me staff. I couldn't ask for a better system to use, especially with my busy schedule.

Avantages

This is one of the better recruiting sites I utilize. The process is quick and painless, and I don't have to search all over for the information I need. It's all compiled for me and sits there until I update the status for each person based on my selection.

I don't have any!! I love Zip Recruiter!

Good Job Seeking Website

My overall experience of using ZipRecruiter is good enough for me to post job openings and to apply jobs from trust worthy employers. I understand that this software isn't all good for people because they have problems with ZipRecruiter, but for me, it's great. I get email from ZipRecruiter that I applied jobs instantly. To me, I would use this software to seek jobs all over again. If anyone wants to find a good job hunting website to seek whatever jobs the people wanted to apply, I recommend ZipRecuiter software for anyone.

Avantages

I signed up to be user of ZipRecruiter to find cool jobs that's very simple to use, and also for posting job alerts for anyone who wants needs notifications of upcoming job postings from companies in the country of United States of America. After using ZipRecruiter software for a long while, I believe this a a pretty well developed software. I liked that ZipRecruiter has an optional sign up social media feature for anyone who has their Google account, Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media account to be linked with ZipRecuiter. The software can send emails to users of any job postings that match user's Resume and Cover Letter. The integration with the current business I'm working really helped me recruit many people who wanted to work with me in any place. I also see that ZipRecruiter has a Safety Red Flag button to allow job seekers to identify suspicious job postings and report it to the Trust and Safety Department, so they can view the job posting right away.

Inconvénients

When I'm using ZipRecruiter software, I noticed that there are some features are missing that could've been used for the software. This software doesn't displayed the interview schedule availabilities set up for anyone who applied to a company and meet up for job interview. I can see that ZipRecruiters are working hard to eliminate job Scams posted by unknown employer of an unknown companies, but they still need to follow customer complaints about job postings that are considered a Scam. They should guaranteed they have a Verified Employer number and have Acceptable rating via Better Business Bureau. That way customers will be able to apply to jobs in all confidence realizing respected companies and will help benefit job candidates.

Sometimes Frustrating

I found that there were some different jobs on this site that weren't on others (careerbuilder, indeed). Applying was frustrating as described. There was no way to follow up. I felt like I applied and my application fell into a black hole. I never knew if the employer received it. Looking for a job is very frustrating and time-consuming. Better search criteria are SO helpful to narrow down opportunities and focus on the better fit opportunities. I did not receive one single "call back" on my application for the 2 + years I used this site to apply for positions. I had better luck with Indeed. (Additionally, Indeed is more favored by employers and I found more listings on that site.)

Avantages

the job descriptions were usually clear and the "ad" was nicely laid out and visually appealing. Information about the job hours and benefits were clear so I didn't waste time applying for a position that I later found out didn' fit my needs. There was also the option of requesting a salary range if none was given. However, I found most employers did not respond to the request. The option of getting more information on a job is very appealing and it would have been a great feature to be able to offer that.

Inconvénients

When you click on the apply, the site automatically sends your last saved resume and cover letter. Since I feel it is very important to customize the cover letter for the position, I was frustrated that if I clicked reply, my information was sent and there was no way to resend a cover letter. This was a big negative because I had a varied background and needed to emphasize why I was a good match. I also needed to explain my decision to switch careers and except a position that was a lot different than my previous one. Also, there was no way to follow up on jobs that I applied for. The information on some positions was not enough to make a decision whether to apply. I realize that information depends a lot on the employer but sometimes, the job description needed more "meat". I am an older professional and was not interested in applying for every job that listed in my field.

Avantages

ZipRecruiter does so much, for so little money. I will never go back to hiring without it. ZipRecruiter frees up so much of my time to do other things. Try ZipRecruiter and set yourself free of the of the old fashion recruitment process.

Inconvénients

I have been using ZipRecruiter for approximately 7 months. I can't think of any cons yet, however, I will update this review if I find some. I am pleased with the efficiency of ZipRecruiter thus far.

ZipRecruiter rocks

My experience was it recruiter has been extremely positive. When I first started using it I didn't quite understand everything about ZipRecruiter but you don't when you start anything. As I used it over time I learned real well how to find jobs. How to search resumes how to find Pacific employees it's just so positive how you can find what you're looking for and one single place and that ZipRecruiter.

What I like most about ZipRecruiter is there's professional they help you get employees. They help you get the employees that you're looking for specifically. All you got to do is tell ZipRecruiter what kind of employee that you want what kind of experience they need and they hook you up. Also if you're looking for Pacific jobs the job board allows you to do that I've got work from ZipRecruiter not only employees but work I've made money from zipper true it's awesome I highly recommend ZipRecruiter without a doubt.

Inconvénients

There's nothing I can really say that is least liked about ZipRecruiter. ZipRecruiter has been nothing but professional honest and helpful since I started using it recruiter for employees or jobs. The best thing I can say is thank you ZipRecruiter two thumbs up.

Zipping Your Way Into a New Job with Zip Recruiter

Zip Recruiter|was so easy to use and provided me with so many options for employment, it did not take long for me to be able to find temporary contract work to hold me over during the Covid-19 crisis until my place of business was ready to reopen. It is so very easy to use and upload your resume, check off your preferences, select your salary preferences, your pay hourly preferences, and if you wanted to work remotely or at a physical location. It also allows you to set physical boundaries of how far you are willing to commute from your home, if you're looking for part-time or full-time or contract work. And the ZipRecruiter platform takes care of all the rest. I highly recommend this software for anyone who is hunting forehead job and does not want check the job boards daily, they also will let you know how many people searching for that position and how many spots are available. Definitely job hunting has become world's easier with this awesome platform. And although I have found new employment, albeit temporary, I will continue to use ZipRecruiter on a daily basis going forward until the next best thing comes along.

In the very unfortunate and trying times if the Covid-19 pandemic, many of us found ourselves either out of work or with extremely reduced hours or pay. Which unfortunately meant the dreaded thing no one wants to do, looking for a new job, a second job, a third job or a temporary job to fill the time until our old positions were back up and running. Not only did this mean job hunting, but considering the amount of people out of work, it often meant looking for jobs that were nowhere near your wheelhouse or for safety sake, were remote positions. ZipRecruiter made this as easy as one click on your computer or mobile device.

Inconvénients

The only con I found with this software is really one that is self-imposed and can easily be turned off with the click of a mouse. And that is when Zip recruiter funds a position that based on your resume and your personal preferences. It got to the point where my phone was continually dinging or vibrating to let me know that a job was available that matched my preferences.

The name implies it all, ZipRecruiter will find you qualified candidates quickly

ZipRecruiter has helped us fill many positions and when needed, customer service is very good.

Avantages

The pricing for ZipRecruiter is significantly less than their direct competitors that use job opening posts sent to the over 100 job boards. Your ability to add qualifying questions for applicants has been very helpful in determining who is really meeting your prerequisite interview status and if they pay attention to detail and answer your question(s) as you have instructed. The amount of applications received is significant to eventually get enough qualified candidates to schedule consecutive interviews within one week.

Inconvénients

If you cancel a job post for any reason you must still contact them to cancel their auto drafting of monthly fees. Although their customer service is good, an employer should be able to say I am finished using your service and restart again when necessary and then resume with monthly billing until not needed once again. There is a feature to pay a minimal amount to keep your applicants on file and that should be able to be put in place by the account owner when that is necessary without having to call into customer service.

Not biting the bait anymore...

Honestly, if I need to look for a job or offer one, I will definitely go to another application. I would not like my job offers to be sent like spam messages and I would not like anybody to link my business to a company that sends bait emails and texts.

Avantages

The things I like about the ZipRecruiter software are probably the obvious. I can search for jobs, within my desired zones, my field of expertise and then filter it using distance, salary and conditions.
But apart from this, services are average.

Inconvénients

Sadly, the list of cons is larger than the list of pros.
1- I really dislike the bait messages I get from them. Like: "Interior Designers needed in Garland" or "This job offers $72K per year"
You open the message and there are no jobs in the area selected or with the salary shown. But hey, you have opened their message and sometimes what they probably hope is that we click on it just because we are there already.
This is very disappointing and uses the methods all spammers do.

2- I have also tried the texting options. Same thing. Whenever I get the "Hey, found a job you might like" it rarely has something to do with my preferences.

3- The aspect of the app and website when you open it, although it is clean and easy to read, lacks personality and sometimes it is hard to know where you are standing.
Most job offers don't show a proposed salary. You need to click and a message is sent to the company offering the job.
My question here is: do those companies get a message like: "Carmen would like to know how much does this company offer before applying" because if this is the case I just don't like it.

Inconvénients

There are many features which I feel are missing such as direct contact with recruiters and the companies which posted the jobs. In addition to this, the premium and advanced feature could be improved so that users will get much more benefits of finding jobs in the paid version.

Moreover, there are no aspects of the product which I feel are difficult to use. Any user with simple computer and mobile knowledge can easily use this product.

In addition to this, the integration of this software is not difficult with our existing business processes. People can easily integrate the software with multiple platforms in a business.

Making job applications a breeze!

If you are looking for a fast and easy experience for looking/applying for jobs, ZipRecruiter should definitely be the first place you look at! It is one of my favorite job search engines out there, as it allows me to look at numerous job openings all at once. Saving some positions to apply to later can definitely come in handy when I need to be somewhere else, but if the quick apply option is there, that cuts down on my time and with just a click I am all done.

Avantages

I have used ZipRecruiter to search and apply for many jobs, not only for me but for my husband as well. Here's what I love the most about it:

- The ease of finding a job and location using the search tool.
- The positions recommendations it gives (which leads to many other potential positions I may overlook), even in nearby locations of the zipcode I input.
- The "Quick Apply" feature which saves me a ton of time of not having to enter my information again and again.
- The ability to check back and look at all the "Applied Jobs" I've applied to. This gives me a way to check on the status of my application. Most importantly, I am able to see if the employer has or has not viewed my application.

Inconvénients

Personally, I don't think the "Am I Qualified?" button is very helpful. I've tried it before, but it would have me enter my email and yet I wouldn't receive anything. Also, many times I would get an email that says that ZipBot has a message waiting for me and when I press on the link to check my messages on my account, I don't find any. Even when the message icon is clearly showing me that there are messages waiting for me, I can never seem to find any when I press on it. Also, I used to get a lot of emails about job recommendations which would completely overload my inbox. Yes, I would like to receive job recommendations to apply for, but not the amount that I was being sent on a daily basis. I wish there was an option to limit those.

For me, ZipRecruiter features stand out and rise above the rest.

I am still evaluating the benefits, however, based on the features I have seen so far, and the ease of use - compared to the rest, it is currently the goto job search/employment application.

Avantages

Like most job search sites, ZipRecruiter has the expected features for filling out a profile and uploading a resume. It does, however, have some really great standout features. The tailored suggested job notifications seem to really be in line with the types of positions that are appropriate based on recent searches or key-words. Far too often job alerts from other job search sites are a bit or way off-base from what the intended search goal is. The feature I like best is the notifications that alert you if your resume has been viewed, or if a viewer has given a thumbs up. Additionally, the metrics offered when a resume is viewed multiple times is great. For example, an alert may say "Your resume was viewed a second time - only 25% of applicants have a second view." I think this helps applicants keep a positive outlook and return to using the product. With other job search sites, after sending a resume, you are left in the dark. To top it off, this information is available whether you use the website or the ZipRecruiter mobile app. I use the Android version of the app, and the ZipRecruiter notifications are notifications I look forward to.

Inconvénients

ZipRecruiter offers quite a full-featured job search product, and it is my favorite. If there was an area for improvement, I would say it is the references section. It would be nice to be able to either link to existing references and carry them over (for example via Linkedin) or copy and paste a reference with contact info for verification as an additional option rather than only having the option to ask for a reference.

ZipRecruiter is still going strong!

ZipRecruiter is great for assisting our clients in smaller to mid-size markets where we don't have a large candidate flow already in place. ZipRecruiter lets us target candidates with greater detail than other services. Example: Targeting a specific suburb or zip code of Chicago instead of (LinkedIn) "The Greater Chicago Area" - This ability to dig into locations and source from the database is outstanding!

Avantages

Overall ZipRecruiter seems to be experiencing a resurgence in attracting high caliber applicants within the service industry from what I've seen overall in the last year. The database is another great tool that gives us access to candidates that we wouldn't get on other platforms such as Indeed. Not only that, but I feel it's a higher level of professional candidates across the board. The user interface is very easy to learn and you can customize alerts to your liking.

Inconvénients

I felt for a while the site was a little dated, but it appears that they've modernized their look, user interface and are still able to attract top-notch talent. I think the value for service is greater when you're able to buy in larger quantities than on an individual basis, but that's the nature of the business.

The Best Job Posting Software

This is the best software which we can use. I respect the customer service as they give you instant solutions for the problem faced at any time. Its lot worth than what is paid. Using it for a week you will be an expert in this. As i told you u’ll get a notification if a candidate applies for a job posting. We have a lot of such candidates who have got job in top 20 companies in US. If the above mentioned problem is sorted out i would like to give a rating of 10/10

It has a customised job posting format which can be made use of because of this a lot time is saved and the way the job is posted will make a candidate go through the Job discretion easily. It has a lot of option in it like the addition of key skills, address, and the title of job, salary range, client name and the interview details. As so much of information is given about the job, candidates refer to Zip Recruiter due to which you can get a lot of candidates who are in search of job “more candidates give you more business that’s the logic". Arrangement of the options in the software is arranged in an excellent way. So it’s easy for a new user to understand the format and the process. Good customer service which i appreciate. As soon as you have any problem over software you can go through the help option were u’ll get the customer service support instantaneously which makes this software rank 1 compared to other.

Some candidates who are not relevant to the job posting will apply for the job that’s the main disadvantage. When a candidate applies of the job position we will get a notification but certain candidates profile cannot be viewed.

Easy to feel productive

I used this app for a while and it is amazing how easy it is to apply for jobs. It takes maybe 2 clicks and your application is submitted. It makes me question the point of a lot of employer websites that have a 30 minute application process just to reply “we have carefully reviewed your submission and we have decided to explore other options.” It makes me frustrated knowing I spent so much time to find the HR department’s phone number of my employer from 6 years ago because I couldn’t submit the application without it only to receive the same denial letter I received from a ZipRecruiter application that took me all of about 4 seconds to submit.

Which brings me to my next point: what good is an easy application process if I don’t get the job? For what benefit is it to a man to gain the world but lose his soul?

No, seriously, though.

I’m asking: is this truly a “better” job search app (for me) if I did not get a job from this app? It’s great to be “efficient” and all but the end result is what matters. I ended up getting a job elsewhere, without a job search app or recruiter or anything. so perhaps this app is good in other ways than getting a job, because in the end it only made me feel productive.

Avantages

The ease of use for this product is like no other job search site I’ve seen; it optimizes your time.

Inconvénients

It may be a bit unfair to evaluate an app based on my own success or failures (which have many factors), but it is important to note that I never got a job through this app.

The best to find your next job

I have be using them for year but I feel I good update of the software could used and upgrade. Other then that there is always easier ways to find a job and a employee

One of the most important features is you can link your resume or use LinkedIn. They have matching job features and one time apply. This gives other employter a much easy way to find their next employee.

Inconvénients

It can sometimes to very overwhelming when they have the same repeated job looking for employeer or the application. It would be so much easier if they could add the employer hiring manager name and phone number .

Hiring Process: Sticking with the old

This is a great tool to utilize for reaching other audiences but if you have strict hiring guidelines for posting, brand standards, tracking, etc, it may be better to stick with an already internal system for posting.

Avantages

ZipRecruiter was a product that we attempted to use to post hiring opportunities outside of our normal HR pages. I will say that customer support was absolutely amazing at connecting with us and working with us when we encountered things we didn't understand or had posting difficulties. In our local area we unfortunately have a lot of jobs posting so this didn't work for us to reach the audience we intended for it to reach due to qualifications we required.

Something that really stood out about this product is how mobile and device friendly it is. Unfortunately we have used sites or products before that aren't really accessibility friendly, but this was a dream for viewing on phones especially. You can also create pre-screen interview questions. This really helped us kind of eliminate candidates that were not good fits; it really helps as a pre-screening process so your ad or posting doesn't have to contain so much information or qualifications/requirements that it's almost overwhelming to read.
This was very easy for our marketing staff to utilize with posting on social media as well, so that was a cool feature to use to reach other individuals outside of the immediate product posting where people would search for jobs.

Inconvénients

The interface was hard for me to use personally just because we are so familiar with working with our own HR posting sites which already have pre-designed templates and brand-standard posting options. While this wasn't personally my cup of tea for a software, I did appreciate the job board options you can use. Rather than having a kind of physical job board for posting, you can search lots of options. It's easier to reach a larger audience, and applicants can use this to post multiple things at once or submit multiple apps at once.

I applied for hundreds of jobs on ZipRecruiter. I only had one company actually reach out. When they did, things seemed very off. Almost like it wasn't even a person at the actual company. The person couldn't answer basic questions about the job or company, and quickly ended the call when I got too inquisitive.

I was also "invited" to apply to hundreds of jobs. Many times supposedly by companies themselves, only to never hear back.

Here's why it is a scam to get your personal info, without a doubt. After applying to many jobs and never hearing back, I'd find the exact same job (same description, company, etc.) and apply for it on LinkedIn. More than 50% of the time, I'd hear back from a recruiter with the company within 72 hours. I finally started asking recruiters about the situation on ZipRecruiter, and every single time they indicated they never saw my resume come across. Almost every time the recruiter I was speaking to was the only one that would have gotten the resumes. That tells me right there that it's a scam. After that, I never used it again and deleted my account.

Stay away from ZipRecruiter unless you want them to have your personal info.

Easiest Job Application site I've come across

Overall this software is a 10/10. I have never had any problems locating employment since I have begun my search using ZipRecruiter. I use this software to locate potential jobs I may be interested in to review requirements and jobs I want to apply to right away.

Avantages

ZipRecruiter interface is super easy to use. From personal experience I can say ziprecruiter is reliable and a very legit job search engine. Compared to the other sites on the market, I have gotten more responses from submitted applications here than anywhere else. I like how applying is as easy as 1-2-3. ZipRecruiter has an amazing one-click apply function on the website which submits your resume automatically, saving you the headache of retyping or refilling out applications with the same information provided in your resume. The trending searches is also a favorite of mine because I can easily find jobs in seconds.

Inconvénients

Honestly I feel if any changes are made to this software it would be more of a downgrade than anything. I absolutely have no complaints in regards to ZipRecruiter. I rave to all of my family and friends about the successes I have made since using this software.

Not as intuitive as Glassdoor

Avantages

This is the first app I've used for job searching and that made it fun. It had a pretty easy to use interface and straight forward, in that you're scrolling down and applying for jobs you like. You get text messages from their virtual recruiter with jobs that may be a match. There are some cons though.

Inconvénients

- The jobs that I would get notified about where not at all relevant. If they're going to ping me they should figure out an algorithm that picks up on jobs you've applied for and makes sure that the other jobs are at a similar seniority level. After several notifications only showing entry level jobs when I was applying for management level, I stopped paying attention.

- Unlike Glassdoor, there's no way to hide a job you are not interested in. So every time you go back to your search results (to see if there are new jobs or continue the search) you have to wade through all the other jobs that you didn't find interesting last time. It was a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack.

- Their easy-apply automatically applies without any confirmation. The first time I tested it I was surprised that it sent it off. I was also not able to customize my resume. Ideally I'd want to upload several targeted resumes and have them give me the option to choose which one before sending the application.

- I wrote with some of this to their team and got 2 stock responses, the first time they didn't understand my question (or perhaps didn't read it carefully) and sent a stock response on a different topic.

Great software to help get resumes quickly from nearby candidates.

I would continue to use this software, I think it is vital in recruitment and for employees searches as well.

Avantages

It was easy to use and it was very efficient on sending me resumes that were of use. Not too many spam resumes, seems like they investigate to some degree to make sure they resumes are real people.

Inconvénients

I don't really like to see that someone read my resume, it feels like to many messages coming through during the day, I would only want to receive messages from employers on their app to set up interviews and I do not see that option yet.

Great Recruiting Platform, Would Recommend

My overall experience with ZipRecruiter has been great, as I was able to land a great hire every time I used this service to search for candidates. The resume filtering feature is fantastic and makes for a very efficient and simple process. Overall, it has saved time and effort for me and, as such, I would absolutely recommend it to others.

Avantages

What I like most about this software is the clear-cut ease of use when it comes to being able to post a job listing. The questions asked during the posting process all seem reasonable and provide for a thorough posting which will attract proper candidates while excluding most of those who probably would not be the best fit for the position. I also very much like the fact that this is a popular site used by applicants when they are in search for a job position, and as a result, you receive many, many submissions to choose from on virtually a daily basis. In short, being able to find the right hire tends not to be a problem when using ZipRecruiter, and that of course is the bottom line. As a result, I have nothing but high regard for this service.

Inconvénients

I find it difficult to point out anything negative as it relates to what the service is intended to do, but I do think that the pricing could be a bit more reasonable, as similar services tend to charge a little less on a per-posting basis than does this particular service. I do have to say though that the slightly higher charge might be worth it based on the amount of prospective hires you receive, so it really depends on the users' perspective on whether they feel the charge is appropriate for the service. I think it is more or less reasonable, but still could be made more cost-efficient, if at all possible.

User-friendly and very easy to use recruiting automated tool

My search needs are catered to by Zip Recruiter. Only positions that match your search parameters are displayed to you. They provide you with valuable information about how well your qualifications fit the position you are looking for. This tool, which is easy to use and comprehend, has greatly helped me in improving my resume and learn what makes a good one.

Inconvénients

The negative is that it is not available in every country; otherwise, I find it incredibly useful. Finding the information you need to contact possible future employers might be tough. The amount of time it takes for a recruiter to contact you after you apply for a job.

I have no regret using ZipRecruiter

It's simple to use, and the customer service is excellent. I also like how simple it is to access the portal.

The website features a one-of-a-kind dashboard that makes it simple to keep track of all positions I applied for.

I like how I get notifications when someone looks at my resume and how many times they look at it.

Avantages

Ziprecruiter has given me to many good-paying jobs out there that I can do from the comfort of my own home, and for the price, it is the best option available.

ZipRecruiter is one of the most effective job posting websites. When it comes to job postings, it gives you access to hundreds of customizable templates that make it simple to write the position's details, such as the job description.

I haven't found anything I don't like about the application. It saves me time and is simple to operate.

Among the best!

Over all, I have benefited from using ZipRecruiter and it is easy to use. Navigation between pages is smooth and easy to navigate. I Have gotten many job contacts using this software.

Avantages

This software is very easy to use. It works pretty good with other apps on my device and it has helpful features such as notifications of when and how many times your resume was looked at by a potential employer, I really like the messaging center too, which enables employers to communicate with me. My favorite thing is the notifications. I am informed of every step... submission, receiving, 1st 2nd & 3rd viewing, and interview contact. This is helpful because your are aware of where your application is in the process so your not just sending out a resume into the abyss and then left to wonder what is happening with it, was it even looked at.

Inconvénients

I would like to see more integration with other applications, such as the ability to pull your resume from zip recruiter to apply for positions on other job sites and not just zip recruiter. Also I would like to be able to save my zip recruiter resume on my computer for use outside of zip recruiter. Indeed does a good job with this.

One of the best HR Apps

Avantages

I love the possibility of integrating it with other APPs.

Hiring made easy

This software makes creating a job description simple and searching through applicants takes no time at all compared to paper applications.

Avantages

This software is very user-friendly and allows the hunt for qualified applicants much easier and allows time to be used in other areas.

Inconvénients

The only downside is that for whatever reason we never received a lot of applicants through it. I am not sure if it is because they are not widely used or if there are just not many interested in the positions available.

ZipRecruiter and me

This is a process that will take so, time to analyze by how many recruits ZipRecruiter, attracts to the company.

Avantages

The list of partial new applicants is great; however, it will be great again if the algorithm reaches the right zip code area. The self-populated area merges where each candidate's name does not have to be put in individually for similar information about the company.

Inconvénients

The mail merge is difficult when it comes to add a person name you have to manual put each person name in it

It was alright well usable and a little bit handy.

Avantages

What I liked most about the ziprecruiter app was the ideal and the layout or or pretty much the overall purpose of the creation of the app.

Inconvénients

I did not like but the software and the zipper critter app had multiple malfunctions and lags as well as glitches.

Need good people for your company? ZipRecruiter is the BEST of the BEST

My overall experience with ZipRecruiter has been nothing short of outstanding. Our company has acquired 4 new software developers and 2 new sales members have been added to my team, all through ZipRecruiter! All 6 of these new employees have been crucial to the growth of our business. For that reason alone, ZipRecruiter has more than paid for itself and made our company a tremendous amount of revenue through new service and product offerings, as well as additional, qualified people to sell these new products. If you want to build a high quality team or expand your business, there is absolutely NO better tool than ZipRecruiter.

Avantages

What I liked the most about ZipRecruiter was the ease of use and automation....and the results! We implemented ZipRecruiter at my company, and the process was extremely easy! Setting up our Employer account was absolutely no hassle, and their customer support was extremely quick to respond, professional, and helpful when we had some questions about our account. Additionally, it automatically scanned resumes to bring us the most qualified people for our new software development branch of business. We ended up hiring FOUR new software developers that have made it possible for our company to expand into the SaaS industry. It's been an awesome team building tool for us.

Inconvénients

What I liked least about the software (which isn't a big deal) was their Employer Resource center didn't always work. Sometimes, we didn't want to go through the process of contacting customer service, so we wanted to access the employer resource center in their Support portal to find answers to questions for ourselves. Unfortunately, this page wouldn't load 30% of the time, so this meant delays in getting answers and requiring us to get on the phone to support. This was slightly frustrating a few times, but the performance of the software itself was outstanding and outweighed this minor nuisance.

Good, but could be better!

I like this software, but it could be and needs to be so much better. I get prospective job listings, but then those same jobs are also listed on all the other job boards too.

Avantages

The 1-click apply is a nice feature. I love that there is an app for the phone available. ZipRecruiter has teamed up with Google and ADP to allow the best possible results for job seekers and those needed to hire.

Inconvénients

Suggested jobs show jobs that (in job title) list keywords that do not exist in my resume (example: engineer). Jobs dismissed previously return when you search again. There should be an option to exclude jobs previously dismissed. Jobs I have already applied appear in suggested jobs, and it is not until I click on "1-click apply" that I then see "You have applied". There should be a feature to "tag" the jobs you have applied 1) at the company website or 2) from another job board (LinkedIn, indeed, etc,...). I do not want to be applying to the same role from multiple jobs, and most companies and/or recruiters post everywhere. On the mobile app (android), the jobs without the 1-click apply have issues loading the job description. I would like to be able to review the description, and then save the jobs I am interested in for when I can get to my computer and apply.

Could be better

It was okay they had some great offers for employment the website is fairly easy to use and navigate.

Avantages

The job matching wear pretty accurate it and the communication between candidates and employers is good.

Inconvénients

The fact that it's so many spam links on the actually job ad Itself is annoying but they are quick at removing the reported links.

Great for applicants and businesses alike!

I've used ZipRecruiter both as a job applicant and the operator of a small business looking to hire workers, and I had positive experiences on both ends. As an applicant, it was easier to use than most job sites, and I actually felt as if I was getting recommended to relevant jobs, rather than just being another number in the system. It's also far more user-friendly and less susceptible to spam/scams than, say, Craigslist.

As a small business operator, this was great for finding relevant workers whose background I could actually see, rather than just receiving an anonymous email from someone who may or may not be qualified for the job. It was easy to find qualified candidates, and I didn't have to sort through hundreds of people to find the right one.

Avantages

I love the user interface, and how easy it is to navigate both for job seekers and businesses. I appreciate that everything is categorized by job title, location, salary, etc., which makes it easy to find what you're looking for. As a business owner, it's nice to have multiple pricing plans based on your needs, and they're not too expensive considering the service you get.

Inconvénients

I can't really think of anything I didn't care for about ZipRecruiter. I suppose I could complain that they're not a free service, but for the results and convenience you're getting, it's worth the relatively low price they charge. I mean, if you want a free product and don't care about wasting your time sorting through unqualified applicants, there's always Craigslist...

Twice the cost. 1/10th the value!

I work for a staffing company and have used Ziprecruiter for 5 years. They used to be great. But the last 2 years have been anything but.

Last year I had 50 job openings posted and in 5 days got over 350 applicants. In a middle of a pandemic! The same jobs posted for the same time period this year and I have 37 applicants. 1/10th of what they did last year. 18 of the ads have been viewed by no one!

Last year I was paying $1400/month for the ads this year they want $3000.

They recommended opening a new account. Did that paid $2000 for 20 ads. Barely any improvement. This company used to be great…. Now you should use indeed or Glassdoor.

Avantages

Cost. Until they doubled the cost this year.

Inconvénients

Job ads are not getting circulated. Literally 1/10th what it used to be a year ago in the middle of the lockdown! And that was half what it was in 2019.

For so much more than just hiring.

To start, nothing beats having a software turn out to be both easy and fun to learn, so when I came across ZipRecruiter as being a potential option for reaching candidates for open positions within the company I had to try it out. The entire process went as smoothly as you could imagine, with every step laid out with an incredible amount of detail and explanation to back it up. I was a bit nervous at first due to my lack of previous experience with hiring softwares, but that didn’t end up mattering at all because once I started to get into the groove of inputting all of the information into our company’s very first job posting, it felt as if I had known how to operate this program all along. I can’t begin to explain what a relief that was for me after having dabbled with other programs of the category and failing miserably at creating what the owner was looking for. I check in on our company account every day to see who has applied to open positions, which is another feature they have made to be easy enough for the newest of users to learn in no time at all.

Avantages

The best part of the software was how well it does with introducing you to the way it works and takes you through each step of the process so nothing gets left to your imagination. They send updates and notifications to your email inbox that direct you to leads matching the criteria you input into your search.

Inconvénients

I honestly feel as though it would be wrong to say that I have found something about this software that hasn’t hit the mark for me, because every time I have used it I have grown more fond of it and all that it does for me and for the company I work for.

All in one hiring platform

Having all my job postings in one place keeps me focused on finding excellent candidates.

Avantages

Easy to navigate the system. All your postings are highly visible and easy to manage. It prompts the applicants to enter pertinent information on determining factors. I like the alerts that you can receive that you have applicants. Allows you to activate and deactivate you job openings to fit your needs. Allows you to have a free trial to see if it fits your hiring needs.

Inconvénients

I haven't found any issues with the software at this time.

Zip Recruiter tool

The major problem this program is solving is time. It receives a lot of activity with relevant applicants, Zip recruiter sorts them and lets me see the relevant ones, which saves me time.

Avantages

This software is very visible to the public. We get more applications from Zip Recruiter than any other.

Inconvénients

I haven't found any thing about the application that I do not like. It saves me time and is easy to use. What more can I ask.

ZipRecruiter Rules

Our ads generally get the best candidates that apply, but sometimes the system should filter those candidates that don't have the experience we're looking for.

Avantages

The candidates are able to contact us directly through the site. We can make our ads stand out more, to get the right candidate.

Inconvénients

The software doesn't make the candidate attach their resume. Sometimes we can't get a good feel of the candidate's overall experience because we receive a one line statement.

An Endless, Ill-Equipped Search

Avantages

I liked the overall idea of ZipRecruiter. It was supposed to make my job search easier, more efficient, and that's exactly what I wanted.

Inconvénients

It did not make the search easier at all. Between emailed job lists that had nothing to do with my field and clicking on job titles that lead to another job search site, where I had to click at least once more (sometimes twice) to get to the company's application page, I was left frustrated and without any new, applicable leads for new jobs. I even reached out to complain about the results I was getting with my searches, but

I love ZipRecruiter!

Overall, I love ZipRecruiter! The interface is extremely easy to use and appealing, everyones profile is very customizable, it's really easy and time effective when it comes to applying for jobs, and there's a vast range of positions listed. I've gotten multiple jobs through ZipRecruiter and I will most definitely continue to use them!

Avantages

I love that you can customize your profile by adding things like references, desired salary, a photograph, achievements, etc. It's also really easy to use and the layout is very appealing. Nothing confusing about it! It's also soooo easy to apply to jobs with many of the applications being a "1-Click Apply". It can be so time consuming filling out applications with the same information every time, so I really appreciate that you don't have to do that with ZipRecruiter. It allows me to apply for more jobs in a shorter amount of time.

Inconvénients

I think it's really cool that they have a "Suggested Jobs" tab, BUT the suggested jobs are sometimes not relevant. I've gotten job suggestions for positions that I'm not even close to qualified for.
