I have had a good experience and I would recommend it to peers

I think Salesforce is very intutiuve and user friendly it is very easy to use even after using it just one time
Inconvénients
No complaint in particular expect maybe adding more FAQs and the ability to contact customer support easier

Once our team was trained, we loved the information available in this software.
Insight into our sales data, and the ability to share that information quickly with other managers.
Avantages
The amount of information, and number of ways we can report that information, is fantastic. We have new insight into our sales data and can easily import into Excel files that we can share with the rest of the company.
Inconvénients
The software is not very intuitive. It took some training and one-on-one time with a SalesForce rep to really appreciate everything the software has to offer.

I use it at my work
Avantages
Very easy to use. Can track data everyday and create some charts based on the sales data. Data that is wanted to be tracked can be customized.
Inconvénients
The reporting chart is not complete so we still need to get data from Salesforce and create chart with other software.

It was a good way to document sales transactions and track the completion percentage of potential leads

It caused a lot of difficulty with tracking our sales funnel if reps weren't following proper procedure of tracking their sales and closing them out.

It is a great suite. You can use it send emails and monitor. There is a lot you can do. One of the things i like about is that it is cloud based.

The only con i can think of is that it is cloud based, for people who want to host it on their own servers

Great potential, but...
As a SRM product salesforce is top notch. The problem I have is you need a full-time dedicated person or people in order to properly manage it. For a small outfit such as ourselves this makes it a bear to utilize to it's potential and a waste of resources.
Avantages
The interface and functionality on day-to-day activities is straight forward and easy to understand... intuitive.
Inconvénients
It needs to be babysat. I understand garbage in garbage out but this product requires an expert to utilize to it's potential.
