Workable is definitely what every talent acquisition specialist need for their talent pipeline. its easy to navigate and contains suitable features that are effectively in their functions such as the job posting, candidates profile and application tracking.

Inconvénients

I think workable has to work more on the interaction between add comments to a candidate's profile and sending them email. It is easy to send emails candidates when actually the intended purpose was to add comments.

The collaborative options are limitless, and the UI is simple to use. It offers all the information necessary, to begin with, reporting and visualizations, and understanding the fundamentals of the hiring strategy and recruiting metrics. Additionally, it offers incredible interfaces with LinkedIn, job boards, mobile apps, and many others.

Inconvénients

I wish Zoom or other virtual conferencing services were compatible with the platform for scheduling interviews. Emails from your inbox do not automatically sync or appear right away on Workable. Once a candidate receives an offer letter, the workable's functionality is finished.

Workable has a simple, clean layout that was easy to customize and train my team on. It did exactly what we needed it to do and allows for a good deal of customization for our somewhat-unique hiring process.

The sales team are vultures. We planned to renew our contract after one year, and confirmed so via *email*. After some discussion, we realized we were probably overpaying; we included People Search in our initial contract (which is terrible and doesn't work reliably at all). We asked our sales rep, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], if we could remove that from our invoice, and were told we already had "a grandfathered deal" and should be glad we weren't paying more. The tone was downright rude.

Because we don't need anything too complicated, we decided to move to another ATS with a slightly lower cost. When Workable sent us the invoice to renew, we notified them that we would not be doing so- 2 weeks before contract expiration. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] *so rudely* replied that my verbal acknowledgement a month before was binding, and that we were stuck with another year. Obviously, we're fighting that, but it's really shocking that Workable is more interested in roping customers into contracts than understanding why they want to leave in the first place.

Lack of crashes and quick plataform, easy to integrate and takes minutes to create profiles. We are able to delete status etc. Great

The process was very easy and its intuitive.

It's a very good product with features to support organizations that are SMB that are hiring or enterprise companies that are growing.

We found that to integrate with our HR system, we couldn't get certain aspect to work they way we wanted (eg hire date/start date was pulled as the date they were offered).

In the end we disconnected the systems from each other. Hopefully future releases will solve this issue.

Job Board Integration: We get tons of organic applicants just by posting jobs through Workable. It saves us time and means we don’t have to pay for extra job boards or sourcing tools.

Self-Scheduling: For a team without recruitment coordinators, the self-scheduling tool is a lifesaver. It makes booking interviews so much easier.

AI Sourcing: I’m using AI sourcing more and more. Sometimes the perfect candidate is already sitting in your ATS—you just need to find them!

I’d love the option to export reports in Excel. The current formats, PDF and CSV, aren’t great for analysis, so I end up having to convert them after downloading

The User Interface and Experience is stronger than most of the ATS that I've used. It's highly intuitive with some quirks. My hiring manager's like the ease of use for interviewing and evaluating candidates.The speed of the site and app are also great. I also really like the customization of the careers page.

The migration and implementation were a total disaster. The sales team did not explain that I would have to import 19k files from my previous system into a single Excel document on my own. No help was offered, only finger-pointing at my previous system or an offer to upgrade to a higher monthly subscription. I've had several issues come up where I've reached out to Customer Service and was only provided with 1/2 of the solution. I raised my concerns and was met with zero interest in ensuring that I had a better experience with Workable. I've yet to speak with a person who really seems to care about the customer experience now that I am actually a customer.The "people search" function is cool, but there are only 4 filters, so it's information overload. Using AI to create job descriptions is great, but there's no way to adjust the prompt. If you want to look at the candidate's full profile, you can't do that from within a job, you have to open another screen and look at the candidate in the database, outside of the job. The self-scheduling link has confused several of my candidates. When I raised my concern over this, I was told that if my candidates were too stupid to figure it out, I should use that as a barometer for hiring.Like I said earlier, there are just so many strange quirks that could be easily solved.

Gostei pra caramba de várias coisas no Workable, mano! A primeira coisa que me impressionou foi a interface irada e fácil de usar, que ajudou demais na minha navegação no sistema. Além disso, achei muito massa a quantidade de coisas legais que dá pra fazer, tipo criar e personalizar formulários de candidatura, gerenciar todas as etapas da contratação e acompanhar as candidaturas.

Tracking links for the origins of the applications did not work all the time and was misreporting often with linkedin ads showing as website or google. Getting the information out on reporting was also hard as it had to be exported in order to work with it and link back to clients' paid ads on linkedin

Somer automations can make the candidate experience seem robotic. I have ran into some technical issues as well. There is limited language support for non-english speakers and the tool's pricing and bill processes are not easy to understand.

It's great that Workable integrates with all the different recruitment sites, especially Linked, which simplifies job posting procedures by our team without incurring additional costs. The procedures for receiving and collecting applications are done automatically, where I can extract status reports at any time, which show a summary of the number of applicants, their names, other years, and many other details that can be shown as needed. Workable helps us a lot during the screening of applicants to prepare a list of candidates, as we can exclude those who do not meet the conditions easily, and extract a list of the best applicants. Workable enables us to send acceptance and rejection notices to applicants, and we can also schedule and schedule interviews. It is also great that during the interviews we can create a file for each applicant and include all the documents he submitted with the interview evaluation.

I can’t believe the scorecard feature wasn’t in the standardized ratings! This is a great feature even though my team doesn’t utilize it enough.

Better scorecard- I wish a candidate could have one cumulative scorecard per user where hiring team could score them. Instead, there’s a scorecard for each step of the funnel for each user. If I forget to ask questions in the screen, I can’t just make them empty for the next round, I have to do a whole new repetitive card.

We love the simplicity of workable. Our business was dealing with approvals and candidates manually using docusign and our email. It is great that the business have fully onboarded using the system which we use end to end from approval all the way through to offer. It provides a seamless and quick response for candidates allowing us to maintain great candidate and hiring manager experience.

Inconvénients

We would like a little more super user functionality added within the approval and offer process to tailor it to our business but it does not create much pain. We are a small business that is evolving slowly and trying to build more mature capability in recruitment as a whole.

The customizability of everything that Workable has makes the experience for the candidate so smooth. We can find out what information we're looking for right in the application.
Reviewing, sharing, evaluating candidates have never been easier! The timeline tells you all the communication and actions taken with the candidate and the tabs organize the topic so that you can easily see all evaluations at once.
Integration with Outlook/Microsoft 365 has made my workflow so smooth as well.
Customer support is also SO helpful whenever I have a question, I know someone will be able to help me with it.

Inconvénients

There are a few features I wish Workable had.
1. while we are able to have the candidate's first name and last name, there is no placeholder for preferred names (Johnathan Smith's first name will always be Johnathan unless we manually type "John" or something else.)

2. A place where we can send a link to a sourced candidate's application instead of creating a separate google doc with their information or filling out the application on their behalf. ICIMS has a way to send a personalized link and login to candidates to see their application + fill in blanks.

One of the most useful features of Workable is the ability to take notes at any point along the way. You may use Workable to send and receive candidate emails through the system, including a notifications page that functions something like a telephone. It has several AI integrations.

Inconvénients

As Workable is still a relatively young ATS that requires updates and a little of effort, reporting and other more complicated functionalities are a bit limited. Workable isn't the best choice if you want a tool that can do whatever you want it to.

I liked about dashboard and bulk communication. We can easily communicate with candidates from the app and all the data shows in the dashboard in the end. It's very app to track each and every candidates information and communication.

Sometimes it stuck in between and we have to start from the beginning though! However, it might be our internet problem too! Rather than we didn't face any problems.
