Lost my customer base and gift certificates

I Feel tech people want to help but no one has returned my call on the issues of loosing all my guest information, emails for promotion and loosing all my unused gift certificates

Lost 27 years of guest history

Does not have an area to put notes that would show up to identified staff

Great Home Office Staff! Complex System

We have been using the system for a year. Still learning. I don't know if it has increased business, but it has certainly made us more professional looking and efficient.

Avantages

Support staff seem to know everything about the system, and there is so much this system can do. It really can handle all of your booking needs, but there is a lot to learn.There are videos and instructions on the help site, but it's nice to have real people to walk you thru the steps when you aren't computer savvy.

Inconvénients

The overseas team is very kind, but not completely knowledgeable about the product. They know the basics, and can certainly help, but the weekday crew is much more knowledgeable if you are really confused about something.

If you want the best software out there…InnRoad!

Avantages

InnRoad is super easy to navigate, even if you think you are not very computer savy.I Never have any issues with the software.

Inconvénients

I really don’t have anything negative to comment on about the Innroads software.

Not the cheapest booking system, but you can't beat the customer support

Every booking system seems to be complicated at the beginning. But once you get it you are all set with InnRoad. And if you have any questions, their 24/7 phone support is there for you.

Avantages

Customer support is just outstanding. Not only they resolve issues rather promptly, but they are always super helpful and polite. Latest changes also improved software for user.

Inconvénients

It is not the cheapest option out there. But you get what you pay for. It takes a while until you utilize all features, but I believe that is the result of pretty nice flexibility of the system.

Innroads

Overall its been a positive experience. The costumer service is great and can help out with any problem.

Avantages

Once you know the software its very easy to see my reservation and know what is coming up.

Inconvénients

I need something that works on my phone. As the only employee often times I need to take reservation on the go and Innroads is not mobile friendly.

Efficient right hand assist

It is sufficient enough to run daily operation and I am happy with the support staff who are always helpful

Avantages

The system is extremely easy to use. Lately there are some new improvements to the software. Customer service by far is the best of the system's feature. I usually get the same group of people to help with technical issues. They can do remote support, so I can watch what they do on my computer screen. Best feature.

Inconvénients

There are still some glitches exist, some reports I hope to run that they can to tailor to my needs.

Management of hotel

I can see where some updates were well meaning but way over complicated

Avantages

I like the option to see 1-30 days at s time on the tape chart. Also like you can stay on a future date and input several rooms rather than going back to today’s date between each entry as the old system did.

Inconvénients

Since the last update it is very confusing and difficult to use. It’s unclear and overly complicated. You have to be a rocket scientist to check out a guest. Once on a future date there is no simple way to return to today’s date.

The Right Path.

Avantages

As a resort manager using Innroad reservation systems for more than four years. I can say this.. Since we started using our beloved Innroads system, my life has been a lot less stressful and a lot more enjoyable. Innroad has taken our bookings, billings and customer satisfaction to another level. No more overbooking, paper work free and booking on line. Freeing up more than 1/2 the phone calls. This means, we are spending more time with customers in front of you.. We all know how important that is for your social media and reviews. A lot more smiles and laughter around the office now days..

Inconvénients

Not being able to thank them personally. They give that 100% everytime. Everyone at Innroads has just the right touch to close a conversation with a smile. Thank You all!

Be Very Careful

I switched from another company to InnRoad last April. The company I switched from had the ability to give me exposure , and secure reservations, through Expedia. InnRoad had me sign a service agreement that stated they would also give me exposure, and the ability to secure reservations, through Expedia. I realized the first part of August that I did not have exposure on Expedia. Because of this my B&B has suffered great financial loss. InnRoad claimed I could save time by using their system, and to be fair, it was saving me time, and their customer service was quick to respond with most of my inquiries. However, I have not been able to get any satisfaction, or recourse, from InnRoad concerning this huge oversight on their part. I signed on with the expectation that my representative would be committed to following through with all of the services they claimed in their sales pitch and in their service agreement. My season is only 4 months long, and by the time I realized I was losing business, the season was nearly over and there is no way for me to recoup what I have lost in potential sales for this year. It has been financially devastating and InnRoad will not agree to compensate in any way. Lesson learned, and please, don't depend on anyone in this company to follow through on your behalf. I did and now I'm very sorry!

It was fairly easy to use.

I had an issue with the booking system, it was dealt with quickly and professionally the...

Avantages

awesome customer service, they are quick to respond and always find the issue. They are friendly and patient even with those (like me) who are not as quick with a computer as others

Inconvénients

There is a lot of extra "clicking" to get to where you need to go, it can get frustrating when trying to just see the tape chart but have to go to reservations first then to tape chart, also when making a payment there is A LOT of steps that can seem time consuming when the guest is waiting

Review

Overall it is has been fine. Innroads customer service is great.

Avantages

Once you figure it out, it is pretty user friendly. Some of the back end stuff is a little complicated though.

Inconvénients

I feel as though sometimes there are a lot of steps to get certain things done. Like group bookings for example.

Worst software I have used

Avantages

I did not like this software at all. The company is very unorganized. They will sell you the PMS with so many great things they have but he people who help you set it up are not nearly as helpful. Our programmer quite working for the company in the middle of our switch over and no one told us!!!

Inconvénients

None of the departments talk to each other when there are software updates. The support team takes days to return calls. There is no natural flow to the software it is not innate. Loading rates or changing templates take forever and then making changes to those rates is almost impossible. I would not recommend at all.

Overall a good experience, quite a bit of tech support needed - at times the software kind of does its own thing and will not cooperate like it is supposed to

Easy to use program but lacks some fundamental features

Avantages

Overall the program is very easy to use and we are able to train new staff easily. We have not had any system down time.

Inconvénients

This program lacks some major features that we need to run our business. We are unable to have a downloadable calendar (to link with 3rd party reservations such as airbnb and vrbo), this does not have an app, our work tickets can be weeks (or months) in the queue, and the online booking calendar needs major improvement.

innRoad was the perfect solution for us!

Avantages

The selection of the right reservation system for our business was critical. We were new to the Bed & Breakfast industry and purchasing a property that did not have an existing system. We reviewed many systems and found innRoad to be the perfect partner. The feature that set innRoad apart for us was the seamless integration with third party booking companies (e.g., booking.com, expedia, et al). We had heard too many tales from other innkeepers of over-booking situations they encountered due to the fact that their systems did not. We also find that the innRoad platform marries well to our property branding.

Inconvénients

We have not come across anything that we do not like about this product. We are eagerly awaiting an app to be available, however. It would be so great to have access to our reservation system when we are off-property.

InnRoad is a very good program for reservations - easy to use and great customer service is...

to make gift certificates easier to make payment on when selling a gift certificate - it is a little confusing and also history on reservation like a users log to make it easier to see what all has happened with reservation from start to fiinish.

Avantages

being able to move reservations easily with drag and drop and also the color chart for the different levels of reservations it make it easy to know who is inhouse and who is checked out.

Inconvénients

would like to have more options for guest history - like to have a pop up come up with cons about a guest ( if we had problems or if there is something we need to know prior to booking them again or if we dont want to book them again)

Useful Tool

In the main, I am well satisfied with this system.

Avantages

Once you get the hang of it, the standard features are easy to use, and having all reservations come into the system from multiple booking sources is just great. I have found the customer service representatives to be positive, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, particularly the call center personnel.

Inconvénients

NEED MOBILE PHONE ACCESS FOR ON THE FLY USE. I also wish that setting the seasons and the rates was a bit easier. I have to get help from service reps to do this because it is a bit more complex than I think it needs to be.

Online booking made easy from anywhere

I have had issues I couldn't resolve that technical support created solutions for.

Avantages

I am able to remotely login and become aware of all items related to room status. I can also effectively make real time changes.

I cannot think of any immediate issues that cause me any problems

Will continue using InnRoad

Easiest software I have used in the 6 year I've been in hospitality.

Avantages

Product is very easy to use and easy for new employees to learn.

Inconvénients

Long loading time. Not sure if this is a software issue or an internet issue.

InnRoad support is there for you

Over all it is very easy to use. But if you do have a problem you can call or email them for support.

Avantages

It is easy to move guest around to different rooms if you need to. You can do it different ways through the parking lot or just by clicking on the name and moving to a different room.

Inconvénients

The unassigned rooms don't show up except if your on that date, so you could miss one and over book if your not careful.

Very user friendly, great customer service

InnRoad has been wonderful to work with. The customer service is excellent. Customer service is always available with little or no wait for help and every time we need help our issues were solved with one phone call.

Avantages

The ease of train people to use the motel booking software.

Inconvénients

Probably the discounting and putting sale prices on the system could use a little improvement but it still works well.

Makes my reservation work soooo much easier!!

I am so pleased with the innRoad reservation system. We've been using it for 16 months and I keep utilizing more and more of it's features. Customer Service is top notch! Whenever I have a question, I'm able to contact their tech support and get help right away with friendly and patient staff.

Details available within each reservation; with options for notes
Ability to move guests from one cabin to another easily

Inconvénients

Setting up the seasons and rates is a little tedious, but once you've done it a few times it makes sense.

Top Notch Software

Deciding to use innRoad as our reservation software was the best decision we made about our business. The support we received during installation was above and beyond. Even after being with innRoad for a year, their support has been always above par. Since we have been using innRoad, the software has not glitched one time and when they had the update we were notified well in advance of the update. I couldn't be more pleased with this software or with the service.

Avantages

innRoad is easy to use and user friendly. From installation to Go-Live, innRoad support can not be beat. They walk you through every step. Using innRoad has lessened my time spent behind the computer because all the reports needed are easy to find and easy to use. The tape chart is color coded so reservations and availability are known at a glance.

Inconvénients

I do not have a con for this software, and how often can you say that? If I did have one con for the software, it would be the Pet Fee. When a reservation is cancelled, the pet fee associated with that room is not canceled at the same time. It takes a separate step to cancel a Pet Fee. It is easy to do, but it does take a second step to cancel.

Best reservation product out there...the complete package...

Avantages

It is a very easy product to work with as well as train new staff. They are proficient on the basics of this software within 1 hr. The vendor is probably the most responsive and patient support staff. They are professional, resolve issues quickly, and always have your time as their top priority. They take the time to train you as they are resolving the issue as well as keeping you updated on any down time they may have updating the system.

Inconvénients

They are working on being able to book and charge tours/groups easier. This is a little troublesome at times.

Simple and Effective.

Avantages

What I like best about this product is that there is assistance 24/7, a human rep - not a robot! There is no waiting on line for someone to answer your calls, and usually they have an answer to your question 99.9% of the time, if they are unable to assist you that moment they will take your direct line and research the issue promptly and call you back within minutes.

Inconvénients

What would make this a better program is if we could use the "back" button and the "right click" button. What would also be nice is a "WaitList" Tab where the list would automatically pop up when a room is cancelled.

Great Reservation System.

Avantages

The system accomplishes every task I need and more. Reservations, Housekeeping, Financial break down (separate unit owners) and comprehensive Reports. Customer service is Excellent! My first reservation was in the 280,000's they now are over 5.8 million reservations and increasing rapidly. You will be very happy with Innroad. Our Resort is #1 rated on TripAdvisor on Siesta Key, FL. I would not risk that standing by using any other reservation system.

Inconvénients

Can't think of anything I don't like. Any issues or suggestions were always attended to immediately.

Customer Service

I have used customer service a number of times when manager is not available and time is of the essence. I have always , always, had the problem resolved. I mainly call when a guest has a billing issue and is impatient when advised a manager is not available to help me help them. InnRoad support has provided the front desk with on screen sharing as well as regular phone directions. It makes the part time front desk shifts easier.

Avantages

Very easy to get customer service agents to understand the problem you have. They are very well trained and familiar with the service.

Inconvénients

At times the wait is very long and frustrating. There are also some language problems but those are really made worse by poor hearing on my part despite hearing aids.

Easy to use and friendly service from INNROAD

I recommend it if you are from the US and have a small or medium business. Easy and personal help on the hotline.

Avantages

I have been using INNROAD for over a year and the service is excellent with whomever you talk to. It is also very easy to use and i recommend it to anyone who has a small to medium business and need helps organizing and booking.

Inconvénients

INNROAD is easy to use but like many systems it changes. It is harder at the beginning to learn all the options. The taxes and format is made for US customers.

Innroad works for my little motel

Innroad saves me valuable time with easily usable features from inventory control, OTA management, and accounting. I've seen many improvements in my short time with the company and am very happy with them.

Avantages

I like the constant improvements and the 24 hour tech support

Small Bed and Breakfast reservation platforms

Innroads has be responsive, collaborative and supportive. When ever we have had a problem or did not understand they were right there to help - immediately or in minutes.

Avantages

It is super easy to use. Resonalby price and great support when you need it.

Being older I had a little harder time getting started.

Couldn't run my business without this resource

The customer service is top notch and I find this software tool extremely valuable to efficiently and successfully run my business.

Avantages

The ability to log in to the system from any location with WIFI is invaluable!

Smooth transition and great service!

We went from a Franchise to becoming an independent hotel again. We had gotten used to our regular system and needed to find a software that was affordable and easy to use. This software did not let us down. We especially like that we can use it from anywhere. A definite plus for a busy hotel. The support is awesome. I can email them and they get back to right away. I like that our training was done by phone so we could change the schedule easily if needed. It has only been a few moths but we are very happy. The only reason they get all stars is because there a few things I wish they had that they are working on. Otherwise we are very satisfied.

Avantages

That it is web based. It is really simple to use. Navigation is extremely simple.

Inconvénients

There are a few reports I wish it had or copy functions but otherwise it's great. We've adapted. Speeding it up is on their list of improvements. I can't wait for that.

Great Product

Customer support is terrific and available 24/7!

Avantages

This has taken the worry out of double booking. My customers can book their rooms themselves. I am also very happy to have all the confirmation emails, statements, and thank-you letters go out automatically.

Inconvénients

It's not intuitive. I find the program, slightly difficult to navigate. There are some functions that are not clearly labeled and I find I need to call support for assistance often.

So glad we chose innRoads

Our implementation adviser was absolutely amazing. Answered every question, offered help on a daily basis, and did so with a great attitude and understanding. Best customer service I have ever experienced in this industry!

Avantages

We chose to make the change to innRoads and we couldn't be happier with the results so far. The software is modern and is very easy to use once you get through the training. They are always working to improve their products which is a huge plus. Implementation process was easy and the free training they give you is helpful. The system works at a fast pace and the back of house set up is extremely easy to use and understand. Customer service was the best that I have ever experienced. All in all I feel that innRoads is a great product.

Inconvénients

As of yet, I have not found really any cons with this software. I have noticed that sometimes the site may freeze and you may have to reopen the page but I have found that with every system I have used.

Your best choice for hotel software

The toll free number is a huge asst. Anyone that answers the phone understands our business and responds quickly, and completely, for all of my concerns. I never hesitate to call them for assistance.

Avantages

Very flexible, easy to understand software that will assist your hotel/inn in maximizing your bookings. The interface with all booking agents makes your job easy and at work 24 hours a day, every day.

Inconvénients

It has taken me some time to learn the programming aspects of the software. There are many benefits I am still unaware of. I would support and attend a training session to educate me on it's uses.

Great for small properties; Simple and easy to use overall.

Avantages

The interface is streamlined and easy to use. It is simple to learn and train others on. We like that they are able to connect directly with 3rd party OTAs and that the online booking engine for our website increases our reservation conversion rates. The reporting options are in-depth and meet the needs we have at our small inns. Since the system is web-based we can access it at anytime from any computer with internet access - a huge plus. We also like that multiple properties can be accessed with the same log-in.

Inconvénients

The revenue management functions are difficult to use and maintain for properties with daily changing rates.

Easy to use /Great support

Everyone I have spoken to in customer service has been awesome. Very quick replies even if I just e-mail. They have even try to make improvement of software when they can.

Avantages

It is easy to use. Had to learn a new system in a short time after using a program for 12 years. Innroad made transition easy.

Inconvénients

The group functions are not as user friendly as I would like.

Easy to learn, easy to use!

Avantages

Very easy to train new employees. Gets better with every update. Color coded tape chart and parking lot are so helpful.

Inconvénients

Wish correcting clerical errors were easier to fix. Wish there was a faster way to block off rooms.

IMPROVING AS WE SPEAK

Avantages

I like that this program features easy-to-read graphics that are organized in logical sequence. It is user friendly.

Inconvénients

The windows that confirm check-in or check-out cannot be dealt with without scrolling down. It makes it a timely process. But I will say that when a person has problems with the elements, they respond quickly and improvements are made as soon as possible.

One of the best decisions we made for our Inn.

Avantages

From start to finish the process has been fantastic. As soon as we made the call to inquire about the software program we immediately were scheduled for the demo, it took us moments to decide that this was going to be our new PMS for the Inn. The team truly had our best interest and success in mind and it showed completely! Making reservations are now so simple along with printing revenue reports, seeing our whole operation at a glance save so much time. I would highly recommend this software to any establishment that is ready to make life easier. Once we migrated our old system which their team did seamlessly, the training was easy and we were on our way. Thank you innRoad For making this Innkeepers life so much easier.

Inconvénients

Though the housekeeping report is convenient, I would like to see it a bit more detailed and simplify.

Customer Service Top Notch

I would recommend this product to anyone searching for a hotel booking system. Again, the level of customer service is far superior to any other system I have used - including in other industries.

Avantages

I cannot remember another system I have used that maintains this level of customer service. The amount of time saved with each question outweighs any concern regarding price. If you value your time - this system is A+.

Inconvénients

The monthly cost is a little high. Not outrageous - but for the smaller boutique hotels, it is sometimes pricey for the number of guests.

Keeps getting better all the time!

Customer service has repeatedly gotten better with each call. Anytime I have had to leave a message for a return call I have never had to wait more than 15 mins, which is impressive.

Avantages

Being one of the first in my company to use innroad it was not too bad to teach myself. Now as I train our new employees it is simple enough that I can walk them through most scenarios by memory with out being at my computer.

Inconvénients

There are a few processes that I feel could be simplified without so many steps for the process. Which I am confident they will sooner than later.

innRoad has made an INcredible difference in our booking experience

Avantages

I don't know if I can pick one thing. As of right now, the first thing that made a HUGE difference was the functionality and ease of use. All of our staff - from the highly technically inclined to the ones that struggle with anything digital, they have had no problem learning and using it. There aren't any processes that are complicated or redundant - everything is easy to find and do. We are in a rural area and don't always have the best internet connection, but it runs just fine, even when our internet service is slower.
The customer service is incredible. From my initial software tour to on-boarding to having 24/7 support that has answered questions and assisted me with resolving issues, the experience has been awesome. Every person I have dealt with has listened to me and helped me utilize the software to improve our reservation processes and make booking easy for our staff and our guests. This has been hands-down one of the very best software experiences I've had.

Inconvénients

I haven't found anything that has been inconvenient - everything has been awesome so far.
