This software has changed the way I do business

I can't say enough about the setup, training, and customer support. I see that some other folks complained about having to call customer service to make changes to things like confirmation letter & etc. I know that I can change them myself...but I do get a little confused sometimes. Customer service does a screen share and walks me through it in real time so I can see exactly what's going on...in fact, they let me do it, and walk me through it while they're looking at the screen so I feel more comfortable doing it next time. This software has been a life saver....increased my bookings for sure!

Avantages

Amazing customer service....great training....integrated with my website seamlessly.... a dynamic company that has been able to customize things for me.

Inconvénients

Some of the features are a little confusing...for example, it's not easy to put a minimum length of stay on a particular date. However, customer service has walked me through it and is always very helpful, any time of day or night.

Easy to use- great customer support!

Avantages

User friendly. What you can't figure out on your own, they will assist you with, one simple phone call 24/7. I was very hesitant about the switch this is our first PMS. Our only booking capability was Expedia. The 15% fee and the room for error was getting out of hand. We wanted to be able to get onto other sites. Our business is growing and we needed a PMS. Thus far I am very happy with InnRoad. What they don't have- they try to accommodate, or they attempt to work on building something that will work. Are they more expensive than other companies? Yes! The support is worth is. The product is worth it. The no contract is worth it! It's worth trying for sure!

Inconvénients

It doesn't force you put in a payment method.
Too much room for error at my specific property, would like to see an adjustment made for this. I haven't expressed this concern yet.

Great Product

Super easy to use, very helpful, and above all else, incredible customer service! Very prompt, always helpful, short wait times and super quick turnaround. All agents I've spoken to are patient and polite, and overall great system for your money!

I believe it could adapt a bit to become a little more user friendly - click and drag option in the tape chart and an easier way to change rates in a folio! Also if I could set up a rate plan with two room types and rates under one rate plan that would be ideal!

Easy to use!

Avantages

The interface is really to use, interactive and it makes it an easier job to train new team members. Customer service is always willing to help and polite.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the Internet connection would slow down hence making Inn Road slow, as long as you have a good fast Internet connection Innroad will work efficiently.

InnRoad Conversion & Applicablility

I would recommend InnRoad POS for most if not all lodging establishments. I have a relationship through 2 properties I work with. I have found that all the customer service is timely and efficient and the software is very up to date.

Avantages

Easy to use in all aspects. The customer service support team is outstanding. I also like how the software is able to sync with different credit card companies

Inconvénients

From my understanding this POS does not have a gift card program. I also do not know if this POS has the ability of having recurrent payment set up if needed.

innRoad is the infrastructure of this #1 Rated Boutique Hotel

Avantages

It's very easy to use and the 24/7 support is always there quickly. I get a clear view of all my room bookings for 30 days out. If everything else around here was as efficient as innroad I'd be in heaven.

Inconvénients

There is nothing that I do not like; there are always challenges in the hospitality business, nothing is perfect. When a problem arises, innRoad support has had things under control within minutes. There's nothing that I don't like.

Very helpful technical service.

After about 6 months, I'm finally getting used to the system, but surely there must be a simpler way to handle lodging management and reservations.

Avantages

Consolidates other booking engines into theirs. Easy to send emails & reservation summaries to guests.

Inconvénients

Requires lots of operator memory. Not user-friendly (not intuitive). Requires a very high number of mouse clicks to accomplish simple daily tasks. An extremely complicated system of setting up room pricing, or changing pricing.

Blue Water Resort

We recently opened a lodge portion on our resort and needed a reservation system. After research, we settled on InnRoad and we are extremely happy we did. I have worked with the Innroad team from the beginning to get us set up and it's honestly been a pleasure not a burden. From the back office reporting and ease of rate changing to training staff the whole experience has been great.
I would recommend InnRoad to anyone looking for a reservation system that is not only easy to use but is easy on your budge`t.

Avantages

Customer service is great!! Back office/manager system is easy to use so it saves hours in your day. Employee training smooth because of easy operating format, from reservations to quotes.

Inconvénients

A year in I don't really have any.

1805 House B & B review of innRoad hospitality management software

I have been using the innRoad hotel management software platform since January of 2017 and I have been very impressed with the professional support during implementation and use. They offer ongoing webinars for specialized training on specific marketing and operational areas to maximize functionality. We have a small B & B with three guest rooms however, I can easily imagine scaling up to a larger operation on this platform. While the reservation aspects are somewhat superfluous for such a small business as ours, I am impressed with how easy it is to manage bookings and drive incoming reservations from online travel agencies. It is particularly satisfying to see reservations pop up in my email while I am otherwise occupied. The reporting functions are robust and tie in seamlessly with our credit card processing and website booking engine. I give the innRoad software and support team top marks.

Easy to use and Great Support!

I've been using InnRoad for almost 3 years now, and have loved every minute of it! In 2014 I helped reopen a 200-year old historic New England Inn, and shopping for a PMS system was first on my list. We did not have much time to find staff, and train them, so finding a system that was easy to use was a priority. In just two demos I knew right away that this was the software for us! It is easy to use, affordable, and I have found the customer support to be excellent. We have increased our bookings, and guest satisfaction each of the last two years, thanks, InnRoad!!!!

Avantages

Simple to use, and simple to train others on.
Cloud-based reporting.
I've had all of my support requests answered in 24-hours or less.

Inconvénients

Tough to find anything really, I do wish I could access a "change log", to see what users modified reservations, and when. Though you can call support to get his information if you need it.

Consistently high quality

It does exactly what I need for it to do. Well, except for the iphone part.

Avantages

Easy to use but the support is exceptional. The overseas support is the best that I have dealt with.

Inconvénients

I would like to see a better iphone mobilization. I do a lot of remote administration and use a chromebook.

InnRoad is the best road for our hotel!

Avantages

InnRoad's Cloud Based Property Management System was recommended to us by Software Advice. We have a small Boutique hotel in a picturesque farming community in Kansas. We wanted an affordable booking engine that could connect us to the online travel agents AND we needed a property management system. Most of the programs were far outside of our price range. However, InnRoad was willing to work with us! We love the system and we love InnRoad! As the person who worked one-on-one with the InnRoad implementation team, I was greatly impressed with their professionalism and teamwork. We have great support after the implmentation process was achieved. The continued, on-going support and education is like having your own IT department. InnRoad is our #1 business system!

Inconvénients

There is nothing that I do not like about this product or the company. I remain impressed with their system, the savings, the ability to promote and manage our company, the Historical Heritage Hotel.

Great upgrade from manual systems, really helps drive sales.

Avantages

Getting online booking capability. We have it on our website and on multiple online travel agents’ sites. It’s better than any other advertising platform we’ve tried.

Inconvénients

Two things. One is that there are some management tools that appear, but cannot be used by the admin at the hotel. Why this is so, is unclear. The other is that, though it doesn’t happen often, it can be tricky to manage a booking of more than one unit that is not an obvious candidate to be a group account.

Vermont Country Inn Satisfied User - innRoad Software

I personally used technology and systems and also saw them come and go. I can honestly say that innRoad has met and exceeded my expectations.

innRoad combines all essential functions of hospitality management, including booking, marketing, reporting and global distribution

Avantages

innRoad does what it promises and more. It minimizes the work involved in managing my lodging business. InnRoad has helped to eliminate and streamline time and paperwork. In addition, it has allowed me to contract with multiple channels and revenue sources including OTA's ("on-line travel agents") improving property revPAR significantly. It should be noted as well that any system is only as good as its Support Team and hotline. I can honestly say that innRoad's 24-hour Support Team makes me feel good that I contracted with them each and every time I call.

Poor Service and will not take responsibility for mapping errors

When they were trying to map to Expedia, they left out my two-bed units leaving me with 7 rooms total to rent during my peak season. They also had my website so screwed up, there were no links, no descriptions, no way to book and they had all the control over the site along with my booking partners Expedia and Booking.com. They would not contact me when I made multiple efforts to call and email over several days. When I was contacted, the Indian woman blamed me for telling them "not to include those rooms". Which was BS. Finally Booking.com made a three way call connecting me with customer service support. The representative took responsibility, fixed the immediate problems, and got me back up and running. Unfortunately for me, He was at the tail end of a month long F-UP by the otherInnRoad employees. InnRoad was so generous they refunded the month fee but I am out thousands. Comparisons from previous year indicate loss. I am still furious.

My review about Inn Road

Avantages

I like the fact that when making a reservation, all fields must be filled in before reservation is complete. Leaving chances for less mistakes as in this busy world and multi tasking, mistakes are easy to make.

Inconvénients

I like least about the reservation system is it allows you to make a reservation for yesterday? Not sure why it allows this, but it does happen.

It's easy to read. It's a clean system, I like the layout of it, compared to the other system. I think the system is functional and does what I need it to do. I just have to get used to it. I also appreciate the help desk doing all they could to help where and when I needed it. I'm grateful for the help! Thank you!

Inconvénients

I don't really /dislike/ anything, I just think some things should be different.
I'm used to a system that holds names, so if the person should come in again next week after being here last week, we could type in their name and all their information would pop up. Nothing is saved in this system, so the retyping of everything, and hearing "my /info/ should be in the system", is unnerving and tedious.

I Love Innroads

Avantages

It is very easy to use and figure out with little or no training.

Inconvénients

It loads really slow and pages take forever to turn. Also it is very easy to log yourself out and have to log in again every tiem.

Customer support is very helpful.

Avantages

Layout is very useable and easy to navigate. Tabs at the top of the screen are helpful in locating the correct function.

Inconvénients

When product upgrades happen, we are not ususally notified about what is changing. This creates an issue when frontdesk is in the system and trying to make to take a reservation.

Great Way to get started Online Booking Easily

Avantages

I am pleased with the training and level of support. We had a dedicated person to train our management staff when we set up the system, and they walked us through all the steps to get online bookings started. They have continued to support us as we had questions and even provide additional training for new staff as needed.

Inconvénients

online only so risk of downtime if your internet is out. not been a problem for us as our internet is very stable.

Not for us

InnRoad seems like a really great hotel management software, but it wasn't for us. We liked the layout and the ease of making customer profiles, but we didn't like that we had to contact support each time we needed to make a change to simple things such as our confirmation email and certain policies. We are always changing and growing so we would just rather make the changes ourselves. We didn't feel like we were getting enough out of it for the price we were paying, but feel like perhaps if we were a really large hotel it would have been better for us.

Easy to use

Overall we're glad we switched over - still waiting for mobile access from our side- something they said would more than likely be released by end of year but now October and haven't heard anything.

Can't open more than one window
System is VERY slow
Only 11 day view as default cannot do 30 day and set it as default
Customer Support is outsourced from India- can never get a hold of anyone real time. Always have to leave a message. They may call back within 24 hours but normally is a much longer wait.
Cannot see customer info (phones, amount due, etc) on the tape deck- others do show this and I miss being able to glance and do a quick overview

The customer service is the best part of this software.

It's very easy to learn and many of the features are very informative and valuable in keeping up with marketing.

Inconvénients

It freezes on the payment screen and the time it takes for credit card refunds. Would also like a feature to block customer check in based on driver license number.

A great system.

We sampled Innroad and it is a very impressive system. It is very easy to create and change rates, access history and finding returning guests and I found Innroad to be a very adaptable to our older phone system. It is also easy to work with Expedia all third party booking agents. We are a small hotel on the verge of a large expansion so Innroad has the right price for a small hotel but enough reporting and data accumulation to a facility a large hotel with a variety of outlets. But the BEST thing about Innroad is the staff, especially Jeff Bakkensen who is very knowledgeable about his software and the workings of a hotel.

Avantages

The cloud-based software lets you work from anywhere on pretty much ANY device.

Inconvénients

I can't really think of anyone.

Great Affordable Software! Customer support is amazing!

Avantages

We went from a Franchise to becoming an independent hotel again. We had gotten used to our regular system and needed to find a software that was affordable and easy to use. This software did not let us down. We especially like that we can use it from anywhere. A definite plus for a busy hotel. The support is awesome. I can email them and they get back to right away. I like that our training was done by phone so we could change the schedule easily if needed. It has only been a few moths but we are very happy. The cost is the best part. It is not very expensive and we get 24 hour support and free updates.

Inconvénients

There are some reports I would like to have only because I had gotten used to them before. We have adapted and learned new ways. It could be a little faster. Otherwise it's great.

Simple and easy to use.

Avantages

Customer service is outstanding, Quick interface, Super easy to learn, and no chance for double bookings.

Inconvénients

No way of creating a stand alone Do Not Rent list, would be nice to have a do not rent list and a flagging system for said D.N.R list.

3 Year relationship of learning and growing together

Avantages

Web based reservations make our lives much easier! No software updates or upgrades to purchase. They have an IT team that have always been able to resolve the majority of our issues/requests.

Inconvénients

Changes seem to be made during the day causing slow screen changes and making resetting the internet and/or rebooting the computer necessary sometimes during a very busy time of day. Be more informative regarding upgrades and changes made to the system. Be upfront, let us know if your team will be tweaking things while we are working so we know what to expect and do not feel kept in the dark. Last but not least, if you are going to have an answering service to answer your calls during high volume/off hours of operation, have them announce themselves as such so we do not waste our time explaining in detail a situation to someone who has little idea of what we are talking about just to have to explain it all over when some calls us back, our time is valuable too.

Awesome software and great customer support which is even more important!

Avantages

Easy to use and easy to understand. Puts everything that is going on in a visually informational format by using a color coded 'tape chart' which can be viewed from 1 day at a time to 30 days. All of the functions can be used (in real time) from any device, i.e. computer, tablet, smartphone. Price is also small compared to the big delivery.

Inconvénients

They offer integrations to websites like Booking.com and Expedia.com as part of the PMS package. We 'wasted' a lot of time before we realized it was never going to be a good fit for our small operations so we don't use those features.

Fairly basic and straight forward

Add feature option to take first night rate + tax straight away at the time of reservation.

Avantages

I feel that this is a fairly user friendly hotel software without all the extra stuff you don't use anyhow.

Inconvénients

Sometimes seems to run very slow, I think I have spent have my life staring at the circling working icon going round and round

It is a friendly system and reliable to work with

Avantages

Web-base, life customer service. It is a friendly user system.

Inconvénients

Limitation on closing promotions. Programming rates, should be easier.

Cabin Management

When I call for help I get an answer of " we will give that to our technical team and the will get back to you" and I don't hear back from anyone.

Great Support

Avantages

The support we have received throughout the transition was second to none. Wouldn't have been able to do it without their constant support.

Inconvénients

A bit slower at times. Our setup is a bit different beings our property isn't an average hotel which makes it a bit more difficult but they were able to make appropriate adjustments.

Minimizing your task (innRoad)

Avantages

This platform provides integration to global distribution system, which allows you to reach out worldwide markets. Also the support of this platform is indeed splendid.

Inconvénients

You need to take your time to be familiar with some features that are not that very easily to adopt. But once you learn it, the time you spent for familiarizing or training would be worth it.

Been using InnRoad for 3 years now

We are a brand new hotel that opened up in 2011. I reviewed over 20 different systems before deciding on InnRoad. The system is very easy to train new employees. Overall this is a great system and would recommend it to any hotel that wants the freedom of not having an IT person on site.

Pros: Cloud Based (truly cloud based ... not like some of the competition claims), great no fee online booking engine , Tape chart, Reporting, customer service, Up time( we have had little to no down time in 3 year)
Cons: does not interface with other programs, packages and groups are a bit challenging

This system has a great foundation and I am looking forward to the exciting upgrades that they are coming out with. If you are looking for more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Works for us!

We are a small hotel and have been very happy with the reservation and point of sale software, as well as the support from InnCenter. Althought there have been changes as we came on board when the company was very new, we have found most of the changes to be easy to learn. The customer support has been excellent! We get help for any problems immediately.

New Technology for me!

I recently began working for a company which uses innRoad software. I have found it very user-friendly, and easy to navigate/transition to all the different areas. I found it very easy to learn, and continually learn something new about the software every time I use it! The daily tips are helpful, and the fact that you are often given reminders is appreciated as well; i.e. "save", "commit or abort". That way you aren't losing valuable data. I am glad to be working with this software, and feel that it will continually make things easier for businesses. It allows for growth and innovation!!

The best reservation tracking system on the planet!

As a new user of innRoad, I am impressed by the training, the incredible customer support and, of course, the program itself. I wish with all my heart we would have been aware of this system a long time ago. I will recommend your company over and over again.

Avantages

I love that I can see all my check-ins and check-outs at a quick glance - So great in the busy season. I also love that I can change everything from my sign in sheet text to my pricing in very little time. This system saves me time and effort all the way around.

Great Experience

Excellent!

Avantages

24 hour customer support that is responsive and included in the monthly subscription.

Inconvénients

Past issues with GDS connectivity and lag time. All those issues have been fixed in the past two years.

Overall Great switch over to INNROAD

Innroad has followed through with everything they promised. We had some sticky situations with the Booking Button addition not being completed on a timely matter but, the wait was WORTH IT. As stated before the support team ROCKS. Everyone at INNROAD is professional and very educated.

Avantages

More functionality options, easy to use and learn. Amazing support team that follows up with emails.

Inconvénients

One thing I would suggest is credit card processing needs to not have a 5 minute wait time between card charges for duplicate (not over booking) but duplicate room reservations. I understand its a safe vault so guests can't accidentally get double charged but with a great trained front desk team, accidental room charges are very slim. If I could change one thing, that is what I would change. Guests are in a rush in the morning or on the phone, waiting 4-10 minutes to charge reservations is WAY to long to wait.
