Une expérience qui débutait très bien et qui fini de manière chaotique. Comportement irresponsable et abusif sur le côté facturation et résiliation.
Avantages
Verizon est très fort commercialement et arrive à vous vendre un produit qui semble qualitatif, et fonctionnel.
Inconvénients
Verizon est injoignable, très compliqué pour résilier, ou faire déposer du matériel lors de vente de véhicule. Il facture leur client, pour des véhicules vendus, et même plusieurs mois (bientôt années) leur client à la suite de la résiliation du compte.
Aucun service client digne de ce nom pour vous aider dans vos problématiques, on fait toujours passer le message au "service concerné" qui ne vous rappellera jamais.

Mauvais service client, pas de remonter de prise Obd comme vendu par le commercial, renouvellement de contrat alors que le délai de prévenance de 2 mois a été respecté, service installation désorganisé, impossible de les joindre, impossible de résoudre les problèmes et on continue à recevoir les factures même pour les services qu’ils sont incapables de fournir.

Les véhicules sont localisés avec un décalage de 24h. Pour prendre un rendez-vous et vérifier ce qui ne va pas, bon courage.
Quand la personnes est venue, elle n'a jamais su résoudre le problème.
Les voitures n'étant en ma possession car vendues, accidentées (à la casse), ou en fin de Leasing, VERIZON continue à facturer.
C'est juste minable de leur part.
Avantages
Parfois, on arrive à localiser le véhicule
Inconvénients
Le service client est désastreux et malhonnête.
Mieux vaut ne pas avoir de soucis de géoloc, car avant de le résoudre, plusieurs mois s'écouleront.
Le service client est formaté au même discours, il ne comprend rien à vos demaandes.

Une très mauvaise expérience aucun avantage à perdre son temps !
Inconvénients
Boitier HS au bout de quelques mois. RDV impossible à avoir avant 3 mois. Passe par un prestataire. Demande de résiliation avec A/R pour manquement au contrat. Résiliation non prise en compte et facturation en continu. Injoignable. L'horreur et ça depuis depuis 1 an !!!

Nous sommes également en mesure de voir où se trouvent nos véhicules et de ne pas perdre un appel téléphonique.
Inconvénients
Je pense que le service mensuel est trop cher. Il semble que vous pourriez peut-être obtenir des incitations ou des réductions de prix.

Verizon Connect - Worth It!
Verizon Connect is great because it really offers sensible solutions as well as ones that matter most such as real time tracking and safety enhancements.
Avantages
The fleet monitoring was excellent and combined with its other features such as environmental protocols, and asset tracking.
Inconvénients
I felt that the Workplan software had issues but they usually were resolved fairly quickly. It could be a hinderance for some.

Verizon Connect is a ok ELD, GPS Tracking, and Dispatch system. The price after your promotional rate is great. But once you are out of your promotional rate the product is over priced for what is offered compared to other platforms. The key is customer service and the tech support is not good, they are not fast to fix or correct issues within there system or products.
Avantages
The platform is easy to use, user friendly, easy to set up.
Inconvénients
The customer support, tech support is not the best and they are not in a hurry to fix issues once there is a tech issue or issue within the system. There system has a lag in the GPS tracking system.

Overall, Verizon does more than just fit our needs. They deliver a quality, accurate product that has improved our fleet experience dramatically.
Avantages
Verizon makes it so easy to view our fleet status at all times. Especially working at a coop, this has been a game changer for efficiency and real-time updates for the coop and our members.
Inconvénients
The customer service has not been the greatest compared to other vendors we work with.

Do Your Homework Before Signing
The product itself wasn't too bad, but dealing with the support team was a nightmare most times. Our "dedicated" account manager, wasn't so dedicated to our account. I had to go back and forth with issues with them over the course of 5 months.
Avantages
The layout of the Portal is the most user friendly portal I've ever used. Everything is so accessible and organized.
Inconvénients
Customer Service. When something goes wrong, they take an eternity to respond, and sometimes, they will close your trouble ticket before they remedy the situation.

Swindled and Hood Winked
In a word: miserable. I feel lied to, cheated, hoodwinked, etc. Verizon Connect seems like it has half the capability of competitors and twice the problems. I cannot stress enough the cheap factor, and overall lack of confidence I have in this system. On top of that, they operate with 100% foreign customer service agents who often have strong accents that make communication difficult. Their customer service system is byzantine, I currently have half a dozen "issues," open with little or no resolve. I often get 2-3 different agents calling in a 24 hour period about the same issue, and none has a firm grip on the situation. Nightmarish is not too strong a word to describe the Verizon experience. Avoid it all costs!
Avantages
Very little. I feel the agent that sold us our system outright lied about the features. The GPS/Vehicle tracking seems to work fine most of the time, but you must have the vehicle on and running, it relies on an SD card mounted in the camera. Translation: if the camera gets stolen, there goes your data and video. Verizon seems decidedly low tech and low feature when compared against competitors.
Inconvénients
Where do I start? First, they made a mess of the initial shipping and order. I'm fighting a frustrating battle to even complete my system, and they tell me they're on back order for all units. Second, it lacks real-time communication with the drivers. I cannot even look at the driver camera in real-time, I must request a clip, which takes some time to download/deliver. Third, I cannot access video unless the truck remains on and running due to the SD card and camera needing power to operate. Fourth, the devices seem to cause electronic malfunctions in all of our vehicles, including battery drain.

DO NOT BUY VERIZON CONNECT
Do not buy Verizon Connect. Stay away from this at all costs. We made the change to Verizon Connect due to the customer service and reliability of the service that was sold to us. Unfortunately, it was a complete lie in what they offer and you will be stuck in a contract no matter what service you have. From the start, we did not have all devices working properly or set up in the system. It took hours on the phone and over a couple months to finally get all the devices working properly. If you request to have them email you to respond to a support case, they will not. They will consistently call you and leave you messages throughout the day at random, even if you request them to schedule a call. They would even call us and leave messages about issues that were not what we had. After 6 months, we still have not been able to set up users on the account. We attempted to end the contract due to these issues and they said it would cost us $4000 to get out of it because they had resolved all the concerns. Yet after 6 months of a request, I still do not have a user set up and have received no response to that request. They do not know what is going on in their customer service because I would receive multiple messages from different people that did not all have the same information. Overall, I would stay clear of Verizon for any business if possible. They have never shown they can offer quality customer service and they will charge you for every month regardless if the service you are getting is what is in the contract. I will be leaving this contact once it is complete. I would recommend “Track your Truck” if you want another possible option for your fleet gps needs.

Fleetmatics is worth it!
I have worked with them for over 8 years. Pricey but worth the money as it is detailed in its tracking and all other aspects of trucking GPS.
Avantages
Very detailed in regards to speed, hard brake events, etc.
Inconvénients
They do tend to be expensive compared to others and not as flexible with negotiating price but you get what you pay for and this is a superior product.

Horrific Customer Service
Great from the start and awful once we purchased it. If I didn't already have their phone service for the business and another fleet software it speaks to I would never use them. It's like pulling teeth to even get someone to call you. Like 2 weeks minimum.
Avantages
The sales process was great of course, they want your money. They're quick to respond, call you everyday following up, but once you've purchased the service the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.
Inconvénients
No one will email you back or return your calls. The customer service number is just a call center of people who don't seem to understand the software enough to even help you. They have to transfer you to multiple people to get you to someone who understands it enough to help. Truly the worst service I've dealt with.

Losing all faith with Verizon
Ok to setup and mostly works once complete, but support and making changes or alterations after the fact are not pleasant experiences.
Avantages
It was fairly easy to use and get things set up.
Inconvénients
Dealing with their support in chat and phone format is very unpleasant. Reaching the right and knowledgable people is either difficult, or a gamble.

Horrible, absolutely horrible!!!
Avantages
I would have liked the free month, if they would have sent us the correct equipment, but it took nearly the whole month for them the figure out that they had sent us the wrong boxes.
Inconvénients
The Customer Support is a joke. Out of the 100s of phone calls that my brother & myself made to them, I found 1 that actually took the time to look over the account & he was the one that figured out that we were sent the wrong equipment. Then once we got the right stuff installed, they worked for about a week & then started dropping the signals & not keeping track of out trucks. When we called to complain about it, we were told that they just wanted to fix 1 piece at a time, instead of fixing all 4 boxes that were having issues.

I absolutely love Verizon Connect. It is very sophisticated and every fleet department should have it.

I love the security of knowing where my drivers are, how long they've been driving, and knowing that our vehicles are secure as well.

Verizon connect it's one of the most accurate GPS tracking programs I've ever used. It allows me to keep track my employees as they are in the field to ensure their safety which is my number one goal

It was one of the apps I would never recommend to anyone. There are better options. Use those options.

Oct 23...dont buy this product.
Up until recently it was just about ok. Real time tracking was about 90% good. By the time you reported a problem it had resolved itself. Not much use if real time tracking is important. Recently the service is non existent. I have 2 new trackers in my office for 2 weeks waiting to be installed. Nobody has been in touch. Monthly fee is still being deducted. Buyer beware. Dont sign a D.D with this company. There has to be a better available. They continue charging even when the service is rubbish. No refunds.

Nothing, at best it works well about 90% of the time. The rest of the time tracker crashes. You report it and a few hours later it is working again. Not much use if real time accuracy is important.

Service now non existent, Oct 23. Fed up waiting for service to sort my trackers. No one in contact to explain what is going. I lie. Someone was on to me (Sinead?) wondering if I wanted to but some more of their trackers. What a joke. I told her my problems..."nothing to do with me, get in touch with customer support". Well I tried that. Still waiting for 2 new trackers to be installed.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Would not have signed up if the previous company had not been purchased by Verizon.

Inconvénients
Tried to cancel the service for 3 years, would just send out an early cancelation fee we had to pay before they canceled. Would not let us set the account to non renewal, would not tell us when our renewal dates were. Cancelation requests would not be responded to until after the renewal dates which we found out after the fact
