Avantages

Contract Works was my first foray into contract management software so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I appreciate most the easy way of creating and adjusting templates and tags.

Inconvénients

The explanation language around alerts (contract dates) isn't as straightforward, for the way my brain works, as it could be.

Avantages

Great on-boarding and follow-up; The ContractWorks team responds quickly to questions and follows up to confirm we're doing okay. There are multiple on-demand training options with easy access let me grow my knowledge and understanding of the platform. Their Product Development team asks for user feedback and suggestions to make working in the platform better.

Inconvénients

We've worked through most things. I'm extremely happy with the platform.

Avantages

I like the sign/signature process and the ability to change recipients if you get an update to a signer. Also, I like the Ask Me Anything sessions every week.

Inconvénients

You can't send a signed document from ContractWorks twice.

It should have a better way to tag documents using the AI functionality

Avantages

This product is very easy to use and easy to teach. I recently needed to take some medical leave and was able to train two others to do some of the more exotic things I do on the program within an hour. Others who might only need to check the status of documents, download them, or possibly upload them, will find that this is exceptionally simple and easy to do. Storage is a great bargain, and the more data we tag, the better our reports get. Finally, support has been great. We've had big projects that involved sending hundreds of documents for signature through CW on a short timeline, and support was very responsive for us during that time.

Inconvénients

The AI is fairly limited in its usefulness for us, although some companies might need little more than party names and start dates. Some features are not immediately obvious--like searching in-text in uploaded documents--in where to find them. The UI does not translate very well to an iPad and touch screen, to the frustration of some of my colleagues.

Avantages

Ease of use and the ability to tag for alerts (renewal and terminations of contracts).

Inconvénients

I would like it to be easier to move/download docs out of ContractWorks. You can drag contracts into the system but you have to click a box to download, etc.

We implemented Contract Works in 2018. What I liked most about the product and company is – ease of use, shorter implementation cycle and great sales team with focus on our needs, they were very honest on their recommendations and did not push additional add-ons to us, even though at one point we were thinking of buying electronic signature add-on however after discussing our use case they had recommended that it’s probably not best suitable for us needs. Our account manager was very good with his follow up. They had offered to train on one on one basis with no extra cost, that was very helpful for us, although we are a company of <150 people we needed that kind of training for our users. The team works I wish the document signature add-on feature was more envelop based as oppose to user signature based.

Digital signature feature was not out-of-the-box and was being sold as an add-on.

Documents mass uploads should be easier to where we can just upload the documents and the tagging be more friendly user

ContractWorks gets the job done for what we need it most for - signatures and managing contracts.

Seems like it's a bit expensive, we only have one login for our team.

I like how user friendly it is and how easy it is to upload documents and move documents from one folder to another. Very easy to customize reports.

Inconvénients

I would be nice to have a feature that lets you know when a reminder date ends up on a weekend so that it can be moved to a day during the week. No one wants to look at reminders on the weekend.

I love the electronic signature feature. So much that my department puts everything in for electronic signature such as invoices, proposals, estimates, etc. I was asked to spear-head getting people used to receiving documents electronically and it has been well received.

Avantages

ContractWorks is a simple, yet powerful tool that is intuitive and easy to learn/use. After demo-ing numerous other products, we determined that CW best fit our needs and we have been very happy with the product (especially the document management system and e-sign tool) since we lauched several months ago.

Inconvénients

There are as many features as some other (more expensive) products but we found those features superfluous for our business needs.

Avantages

I really like the ease of uploading an agreement or document and circulating for electronic signature. I am also partial to the tag feature that we're able to set-up allowing notices to be emailed regularly for staff required to file reports for certain agreement requirements.

Inconvénients

The software does not turn off the automatic recurring email notices when an agreement expiration date is reached. They continue to be emailed and we have to remember to manually delete the notifications for each agreement.

Avantages

It is extremely easy to upload contracts and to tag. It helps to keep all contracts in one central location. I like the fact that folders can be set up with restricted viewers for confidentiality. Overall great product and extremely necessary.

Inconvénients

This is not applicable for me. There is no "like least" that I can report on.

I really like the interface experience. It is very simplistic and intuitive. All of the functions and abilities of the software are easy to apply usage.

There is nothing about ContractWorks that I dislike. It was absolutely the best product we tested.
