Avantages

Contract Works was my first foray into contract management software so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I appreciate most the easy way of creating and adjusting templates and tags.

Inconvénients

The explanation language around alerts (contract dates) isn't as straightforward, for the way my brain works, as it could be.

Avantages

Great on-boarding and follow-up; The ContractWorks team responds quickly to questions and follows up to confirm we're doing okay. There are multiple on-demand training options with easy access let me grow my knowledge and understanding of the platform. Their Product Development team asks for user feedback and suggestions to make working in the platform better.

Inconvénients

We've worked through most things. I'm extremely happy with the platform.

Avantages

Great work on folder organization that make it easy for me to create folder, add document permission setting to specific users and add security layers that only allow user with credential to open and view the contract document. Loved the digital sign option that allow me to collect client sign digitally and saves time from having to print the contract and sending the document to client for them to sign it physically.

Inconvénients

Using PDF document isn't too ideal and I have faced with many issues using it. I had to use third-party software to open PDF files and use the software for other task that related with contract management and signing.

It is a user-friendly and comprehensive system designed for ease of use and efficiency.

Inconvénients

It should have a better way to tag documents using the AI functionality

Avantages

I like the sign/signature process and the ability to change recipients if you get an update to a signer. Also, I like the Ask Me Anything sessions every week.

Inconvénients

You can't send a signed document from ContractWorks twice.

Avantages

This product is very easy to use and easy to teach. I recently needed to take some medical leave and was able to train two others to do some of the more exotic things I do on the program within an hour. Others who might only need to check the status of documents, download them, or possibly upload them, will find that this is exceptionally simple and easy to do. Storage is a great bargain, and the more data we tag, the better our reports get. Finally, support has been great. We've had big projects that involved sending hundreds of documents for signature through CW on a short timeline, and support was very responsive for us during that time.

Inconvénients

The AI is fairly limited in its usefulness for us, although some companies might need little more than party names and start dates. Some features are not immediately obvious--like searching in-text in uploaded documents--in where to find them. The UI does not translate very well to an iPad and touch screen, to the frustration of some of my colleagues.

Avantages

Ease of use and the ability to tag for alerts (renewal and terminations of contracts).

Inconvénients

I would like it to be easier to move/download docs out of ContractWorks. You can drag contracts into the system but you have to click a box to download, etc.

Documents mass uploads should be easier to where we can just upload the documents and the tagging be more friendly user

Avantages

Easy storage management and to find and access previous or new contract using the search tools. Contact management, especially for contract lifecycle management is straightforward in monitoring contact status, expiry date and preparing for a new term before the contract is concluded. It is a god sent tools for administration work.

Inconvénients

We have some problem using the digital signature features that not allowing our client to stamp their sign and had to sign it physically. Luckily, the issues is then solved by the support team and never had those issue anymore.

Avantages

ContractWorks functions wonderfully as a contract repository. We're able to easily get e-signatures, track and tag our contracts and run reports as needed. There are also new features rolled out regularly that have been added value. We have had zero complaints. We offer our new users training on ContractWorks but most have been able to navigate it themselves with little to no training.

Inconvénients

Would love if it was also a contract management solution but it functions well as a repository.

Avantages

Tracking key contract dates and KPIs has made my day to day job easier and opened up the ability to work on other areas

Inconvénients

I dislike that we are not able to write a private note on the contract when sending it off for approval. If I have write a note, it has to be to every signatory and ends up being on the contract

Avantages

The traditional folder structure and the flexibility in tagging, reporting and notifications. The form/templates have saved us a lot of manhours as well. E-sign works really well both internally and externally. I have delivered training to all of our employees across departments and the platform is very user friendly even for those not tech-savvy.

Inconvénients

Inability to edit documents and share redlines within ContractWorks.

Avantages

The ease of implementation and use and the reminder emails on expiring contracts are my favorite part of this software.

Would recommend being able to include folder on reports.

It is an affordable software that is easy to access and store documents. We love that it is simple and fulfills our overall goal of storing documents in a meaningful and organized way.

Inconvénients

It fits our needs well. Creating new reports out of the software happens from time to time and there is a bit of a learning curve on my part when that happens.

Avantages

The customer service is the best. Ease of use for organizing and accessing is great.

Inconvénients

Not being able to download a report, fix data and import back into the system - like a database

Accessibility to software, very user friendly and not complicated to show users how to locate and save documents, tabs are clearly labeled and easy to access, no drop down menu makes this tool very efficient.

Contractworks is the the ideal software for our needs

Avantages

The ease of uploading and organizing files and the inclusion of secure electronic signatures.

Inconvénients

I wish there was a bit more functionality with interacting with document once uploaded (i.e. rotate and delete pages).

Avantages

The easy set up and the fact that we can customize templates, tagas and user roles.

Inconvénients

Maybe a feature that enables to send more than one template at once. I think Contractworks are already working on that, so I'm happy it will be available soon.

Loved being able to make changes easily, and maintain data already entered.

Inconvénients

Inability to network with other software (i.e. Salesforce or any ERP).
