We use Docuware for customer information and order management. We use secure storage and worflows primarily.

Inconvénients

Docuware is intuitive, but still takes some time to learn. The Outlook plugin on older versions was a little inconsistent, but has improved over the years.

Avantages

I love how DocuWare is able to pull info from scans and PDFs and save everything in an easily searchable archive! It makes it super approachable to scan a bunch of documents and find the specific information I'm looking for quickly. It's extremely easy to use and I found it to be very intuitive.

I have no complaints, DocuWare is awesome!

We use Docuware on a daily basis to archive supplier invoices, start a workflow of approvals and finally integrate them into our ERP

DocuWare has been a crucial part of our environment for many , many years! When it goes down, which is not too often, my team is crippled. However, it has been back up quickly in my cases. The configuration aspect is easy for even the basic IT user.

Inconvénients

There aren't very many --when it's down, it's down. No fixing it by contacting support in the Americas. IT is a global company based in Germany I believe. Getting support during our working hours is almost non-existent.

How you can incorporate this product on any area in your business. I also like how it bridges with various software applications.

Inconvénients

I can’t select a series of documents and index them/store in separate trays simultaneously.

Avantages

It allowed my company to get rid of @ 80% of it's paper records! It collated the old files into a common user interface (per department) that allows anyone to use it and find stuff quickly and easily!

Inconvénients

The one thing I think is missing (and this has been recorded) is that the "fat" client has been removed from the software. As an administrator, I made frequent use of the fat client.

Avantages

I really like how Docuware works together with the other software's used to store documents for everything. Also, like how I can put any location and look up the information needed for the store/tenant. Once you understand how to use Docuware it is easily used and able to locate the information need.

Inconvénients

The thing I like the least with Docuware is learning how to use the program. I have slowly taught myself how to navigate the program but I believe a lot of people are scared to use it because it can be confusing to learn how to navigate.

Funciona muy bien. Es rapido y esta disponible al 99% del tiempo.

El precio. Creo que es caro. El sistema de reconocimiento de los campos de facturas es complicado de entrenar, y en ocasiones falla.

DocuWare offers many useful features, but it can be costly for small businesses. Also, more customization options would be ideal.

I use and manage DocuWare in the company where I work, it has an incredible administration tool, allowing you to create multiple access profiles, with rules for viewing and writing, allows you to create several file trays for separation and organization of them, among others features.

Already for the end user of the company, the graphic interface of the Web part is very easy to understand, without a lot of unnecessary information, after only what the user needs to filter and find their documents.

Importing documents into DocuWare is another fantastic thing, you can do this by simply printing the document through the DocuWare printer, a supplement that sends the document directly to the user's default tray, or to a certain tray if rules are created for it. You can also import documents into DocuWare simply by placing them in a certain pre-defined folder, which is monitored by the system and automatically imports as soon as a document is placed there. There is also the possibility of using scanners to scan physical documents, as you can also manually import the documents already scanned into DocuWare.

Inconvénients

Regarding the tool I have nothing to complain about, but the support leaves something to be desired, DocuWare's own support takes some time to answer simple questions at times, but it has a vast documentation that can be used to remedy various types of doubts , often solving simpler problems without having to open a call for support.

DocuWare es rápido y sencillo de configurar en pocos días o semanas, es posible automatizarlos procesos comerciales. Es simple y fácil de usar ya sea para usuarios o administradores/configuradores. El programa va a aprendiendo según lo vas usando, cuanto más lo utilices mejor automatizará tus procesos.

Inconvénients

A pesar de que la mayoría de veces si reconoce los datos en albares y facturas que nos llegan, en ocasiones si tienen formatos complejos o no se ven de forma nítida los datos no los reconoce correctamente.

Avantages

Docuware is a powerful tool for routing paperwork through workflows. It has eliminated paper running through our office and allowed our employees to work from any location without needing physical access to the paper.

Inconvénients

Setting up the workflows is difficult at first, but once you get used to "speaking the language" per se it's not bad at all.

Avantages

Docuware es un libro en blanco que tienes que configurar a medida. Tiene inteligencia artificial y es capaz de ir aprendiendo lo que le enseñas y completar o repetir las mismas funciones en los documentos que vas cargando. Permite extraer información de un PDF e incluso PDF que están en un correo. Es ideal para la introducción en sistema de albaranes que llegan con un paquete o facturas que llegan por correo por ejemplo. Se puede vincular con un ERP, por ejemplo SAP que es lo que yo he probado o SAGE, e introducir datos de forma automática. Es extremadamente fácil de usar. Muy recomendable.

Inconvénients

Si tienes un ERP potente hay muchas cosas que ya puedes hacer desde el ERP si tienes bien digitalizada la información.

Cost, It costs money and isn't free. But you get what you pay for. Seriously the software is an awesome buy.
