very cost effective alternative to ms office 365 (we chose the enterprise up to 50 people offer)

Inconvénients

compatibility with the newer X files is still off in the sense that the layout of a document can get screwed up a little when someone opens it in MS office.
There has been a learning curve for some of our employees but that might just be because we're coming from office 2003

Works AMAZING with Ubuntu 18.04 and is the office suite that I put on all my electronic devices.
Easy to use but also has tons of features and customization.
Tons of different programs to cover any job.

I like it most for the seamless integration and switch between the 3 powerful office tools-- the Document, the Spreadsheet, and the Presentation. All of them could present within the same window, and tabbed, making switch utmost easy. Thus, you don't need to open Document software and Spreadsheet software or Presentation software separately.
It's very stable on the windows operating system better than all other Microsoft's alternatives I've used.
It also has a rich web/ internet integration giving an all-round and mobile experience that one may need from office software.

Inconvénients

The time that it usually takes to load completely. Sometimes the delay could be irritating.

Uhm.. some of the files operations on iOS device via Onlyoffice documents companion app could have been easier. I can’t (or maybe just can’t figure out how to?) rename my files or reassign viewer to certain file types.

Nextcloud integration with OnlyOffice Integration Edition works like a charm ! Office Documents compatibility is quite good and concurrent editing is really appreciated here !

A great management option for remote location offices and individuals, it is very good in sharing, editing and managing projects, including a wide support of variety document types.

I would say the product does not always gives an accurate status using the overview only, sometimes we have to dig a lot in order to receive a small piece of information, also additional logging for administrators/users actions is less available.

As someone who does not want to use MS products I am extremely happy to still see the "familiar" and clean UI that one is used from MS products. It makes it easy to find your way around and gets you into your workflow right away. Together with it's cloud based version it is extremely simple to edit documents on the go on other devices offering you a way to work and use your time most efficiently.

The lag of support for the creation of things like drop-down options in it's spreadsheet version as well as some other small things that need to be ironed out. But overall a great experience for the price.

I like the functionality of the various components -- especially the email and Word Processor. I also like the CRM integration. One of my favorite things is the ability to link other online storage accounts (such as Box, Dropbox, etc) directly with the software.

Some of the loading times can be slow. That's really my only complaint.

I am using it for reading and editing documents, to create all kind of text documents, PDF and all kind of papers.

If you don't have access (or can't) afford MS Office or a professional suite, then ONLYOFFICE can get the job done. It is a free version and very comparable to MS Office which makes it very user friendly. Similar to Google docs, all your files will be auto saved to a cloud drive so you have the security of not losing important work. You can also save files in multiple formats.

Inconvénients

It is a bit slow and can be clunky at times compared to MS Office so you may need to have some extra patience. Takes a bit of time to open the documents which is the trade-off between paying or using a free office version.

OnlyOffice is a great tool to use instead of MS Office online or Google Docs. I'm getting a free personal version, so I can't comment on the value proposition for a business. I know this is probably stupid, but I like that OnlyOffice allows me to display formatting characters (like space, tab, enter). You might not need this every day, but it's something that I definitely thought was lacking in Google's over-simplified offerings.

Any online solution has drawbacks. OnlyOffice is certainly more feature-rich than Google Docs, but it still doesn't have everything that standalone MS Office offers.

The software is very similar to Microsoft products. In fact, I deem it quite similar and more compatible than Google docs, which I like also. The best part of OnlyOffice is that it is compatible with Microsoft in so many ways. When opening a file with Microsoft I lose little to no formatting. I can use it in WordPress and create awesome documents. It is a fantastic product.

We as a non profit organization, need to find a robust but not expensive solution for our daly work document processing. This is a great solution for our needs with no impact in our budget.
We use Google Docs and what I like of OnlyOffice is how easy is to open a Microsoft format document instead of creating another copy with a different extension.
I like the integration with several cloud services.
I like the interfase, it is clean, intuitive and easy to assimilate.

In the personal version is disabled the option save, it is only possible to download the file.
