I use Google Drive a lot. However, their formatting is so-so. OnlyOffice is great because it has the look of my favorite Microsoft Office applications but without the cost. I also love that I am able to save it in a Microsoft office format (i.e., .docx) so I can easily work between Microsoft Office products and OnlyOffice.

Inconvénients

The only caveat that I see with this program is that when I use Google Docs and OnlyOffice, it defaults to OnlyOffice and I have to almost always sign into it.

The software is awesome.. It helps me in managing my files and makes it easy for me to retrieve them on any computer device.

I like that is it compatible with MS Office format. I love that it is available both on the cloud and locally. It is also really to use.

I don't like how slow it takes to load a document, I feel it could be greatly improved. I also feel like some features are lacking or not clearly accessible, e.g simple things like capitalizing the first letter of each word.

I value very much the efforts the creators of this app are putting in having something so professional and similar to the omnipresent M. Office. I also like the easiness of use and the very good compatibility with Microsoft Office.

A suggestion for the developers would be to improve the way Only Office manages footnotes in an academic document.

As a college student, OnlyOffice helped me out in those moments that I needed to write a paper or edit a Word document without Microsoft Word. The fact that everything is saved in the cloud also makes it super convenient if you happen to be hopping between multiple workstations.

It's a very good choice for people who use Linux, and don't have opportunity to use Microsoft Office. The most of all I would like to mention the integrated chat in the soft. Thanks to that, it was possible to cooperate within our company for working on a group project.

Overall, this product was easy to use and quick to load. Documents rendered quickly and the menus are self-explanatory.

I found the "track changes" functionality to be clunky and not as intuitive to use as some of the other word processing programs out there, and some of the online integration abilities I would like (for example, with a corporate directory) are missing, and I have questions about compliance with security regulations regarding the cloud storage.

I like that it suits essentially every task that an average user needs. There is nothing you have to give up on relative to expensive competitors.

There is something to say about compatibility and visibility. When everyone you know uses a competition product it is sometimes hard to integrate with them and the unique features they take for granted. It's like an entire office using iPhones but you use Android which means you are left out of iMessage groups.

I operate a home-based jewelry making business and I use OpenOffice to keep things running smoothly. The things I like most are the spreadsheet and draw features. I use spreadsheets to keep track of finances and inventory. But my favorite feature is draw, I love to just play around with this when I have ideas for new products.

I like so many features of OpenOffice but I have had a couple instances of formatting issues when using this software to create word documents. I don't create word docs at all here anymore because when you are starting a business it is essential for everything to look professional.

Great software to store everything in one place and take it everywhere, it is very easy to use and can be linked to online storage sites like dropbox, it allows you to open any MS Office document and this is really essential. I can use it from my computer, tablet or phone and save my information the same way on all my devices. The editing tools are basic but ideal for my needs and those of most people.

It's a bit slow software, it should have a couple of additional options, the cost for full enjoyment seems very high to me, it should improve the payment plans. It is very difficult to contact customer service.

Open sourced software is awesome but our biggest gripe at times was (at least for a few in the company) it was a little glitchy. Not often, but often enough for some of the team to notice.

The fact that it follows other spreadsheet and word processing programs very closely is most helpful to getting started and using the software.
It loads very easily from the installed app and locates saved materials very effectively.
