Very user friendly and everything is one place! Coming from gloss genius I felt like it was a little boring and missing a touch of my own creativity and that is exactly what I got with Goldie! I started with the free version but the pro version is 10x better allowing all my clients to get confirmations and reminders so I don’t have to remember to do it myself.

Inconvénients

Im not sure if maybe I may have missed it but it would be amazing to have waivers in the app for clients

The price was cheaper, I could have a free trial and also could use it for free for a while as I only had a few appointments booked in. I like that I can take card payments on the app too

Goldie is easy to use, even for those not tech savvy. The design is simplistic and minimalistic, which is fantastic. Customer Service is very responsive and polite.

I really need to be able to pick and choose who is able to book online. I am not accepting new clients, but I can't enforce that since they are able to book themselves online, even though my main page states I am not taking new clients. I hope this feature changes in the future!

I really like the ability to schedule automated text reminders. This was the main reason I started using Goldie, because it had the feature I was looking for. Other popular platforms didn't have all of the types of features I needed, since I provide a different type of service than what most people would consider as an "appointment". But Goldie most clearly had the specific functionality I wanted for my purposes. I use this calendar as my source of truth for scheduling, and now my clients are consistently reminded to provide advanced notice of a cancellation or reschedule.

Inconvénients

The opportunities I see are within the user interface. There are some differences in locating different menus between the app and the website, so it's not always clear where to navigate to find certain things. I would also offer more formatting customization options, like colors/fonts/icons/etc. just for visual aesthetic purposes.

Easiest to navigate and was good price point for what I needed. The different options of packages are also great.

I love that you can customize your site golie provides for booking in terms of color category and nail and prices can be varied per product/ services. I also like how when a customer is making moves on your site it declares it instantly so im very aware of any bookings made.

I dont understand why there is an online processing fee for online transactions online, clients dont either so they chose to pay in cash which is less convienient for me. I dont understand it because I am already paying monthly.

This is a great app and I can’t imagine my life without it. I have used it for over 5 years and love all of the updates and that it’s constantly improving. I appreciate that that continue to keep it affordable for everyone, especially small businesses who already deal with rapidly rising product costs and expenses.

I had a few minor issues and had to reach out to customer service and didn’t have the best experience. It was handled, but with my long term loyalty with this company, I was hoping for a bit more support.

Sometimes my messages setting switches itself back to full auto via Goldie. I prefer to send them myself, so I find myself toggling that back sometimes.

When I message a customer through my carrier it’s just easier to follow because it will send through my phone’s message threads, where we can then converse if needed.
