Workflow charting
I have been using Visio for many years starting in college & I continue to use it today because of its simplicity.
Avantages
Visio application is a great product to create workflow charting & diagrams.

Inconvénients
Viso file is not able to be opened when shared you must convert to a PDF or image and then paste into a word doc. Very hard to make changes after the fact.

I've used Visio for more than a decade and have found it to be an indispensable tool, enabling me to create professional looking visualizations which attract accolades from all who view my presentations.
Avantages
Visio's intuitive, drag & drop user interface allows for effortless creation of even the most complex visualizations and making edits easy to perform.
Inconvénients
At least with my older version of Visio, I wish there was an easier way to connect with data from Excel, and even real-time data sources, though this may not be what Microsoft intends Visio to be used for.

Straightforward program that specifically is designed to create flowcharts, training diagrams, easily outlines step-by-step processes.
Inconvénients
Very technical and not easy to get used to or learn quickly without formal training. In using Visio intuitively I feel that I barely maximize the capabilities of the program.

Visio has great Product functionality when compared to other software and also it has a very good & strong user community who we can reach out when in need.
Avantages
We have both on-premises license and free cloud A1 license of Visio. We had a nice experience in using this product. Workplace Social Distancing Stencil in Visio is an excellent tool using which we managed this Covid Pandemic. Templates and dynamic gridlines are useful for creating floor plans. You can customize all the icons to suite your requirements.
Inconvénients
Not possible to collaborate. Very year they are increasing the price. Printing the drawings created in Visio is not great.

The ability to create designs/diagrams that all engineers regardless of language can understand.
Avantages
The pre-built in libraries, but also the option to import third party libraries e.g. Cisco so I can design the diagram accurately using e.g. the Meraki symbols.
Inconvénients
Overall it's a great tool, no negatives about it.

I vantaggi di usare visio sono molteplici sono una buona organizzazione dei elementi, importazione/esportazione.
Inconvénients
Le cose che non mi sono piaciute di visio sono per esempio gli elementi interattivi che sono più marginali che interni poi la gestione del feedback.

Overall a very easy software to use, especially to those with flowcharting experience.
Avantages
This is one of the more common flowcharting tools on the market which makes collaboration very simple.
Inconvénients
It can be a bit clunky compared to some newer software suites for flowcharting. It isn't the most intuitive for new users.

I have been using it for years now and so far I find it useful. It is a good support for the organization of information.

A wide variety of templates can be modified to make them more comprehensive and aesthetically pleasing. At the same time you can work with other people in real time.
Inconvénients
It is not available on all operating systems, e.g. macOS. In addition, the workflow in text editing feels slower e.g. compared to Microsoft Word.

Ainda sou um usuário relativamente novo e creio que a avaliação é importante justamente por isso. Trabalho em um setor jurídico que temos muitos fluxos de trabalho a depender do tipo de demanda que é protocolada/recebida.Com o Visio foi possível desenhar todas essas tarefas, o que possibilitou enxugar e melhorar muitos dos processos existentes.
Inconvénients
Não achei a interface muito intuitiva. Alguns comandos foram ficando mais fáceis de utilizar por conta da repetição, porém de início achei difícil. Foi preciso paciência e muita repetição.

It would be great if it would have a better integration with office, when you copy a flow chart and schematics to paste it on word or power point, several times the flow chart lost some items like connector that they don't import correctly, It is better to convert the flow chart to a image and export it as it to avoid to lost data.

Overall a very good tool that I have used for a very long time.
Avantages
The two best things about Visio are the pre-made templates you can use and the drag and drop nature of it. So quick and easy to get started and continually create and update any and all content you have. It is also part of the Microsoft suite so it is a natural fit within any Microsoft environment.
Inconvénients
Some of the auto-align and placement features can get a little wonky at times but you as the user can usually override it manually. Also integration is good with other external apps and sites but it can be difficult to work through at times.

Visio for Office 365 has taken a major step backwards.
I have used earlier versions of Visio 2010) for many years.
Avantages
Not much. I use Visio 2010 at home and it is absolutely great. At work we use Visio for office 365, and this is one of the most sub-standard tools I have ever used. It does not support UML like before. It is simply a very poor block drawing tool, making it near impossible to draw professional UML diagrams for embedding in Technical Documents.
Inconvénients
Support for proper UML diagrams has been severely downgraded. If you want to do software design documentation using UML, then Visio for Office 365 is not for you.

Great tool to design flowcharts and diagrammatic illustrations.
Actually for problem setters like me it becomes very easy to design flowcharts for a particular problem.
Avantages
It's quite easy to use. Very smooth functioning.
Inconvénients
It's a bit complex to use for a beginner .
