Okta is a solid resource
We use Okta Identity Management to help identify our key users and ensure that they are required to use MFA if they are 'off network'. This type of security has allowed our organization to stay proactive & in fact ward of several breach attempts. Very satisfied with everything they've had to offer.
Avantages
Improved security. Excellent support. Great community. Clear communication. Transparency
Inconvénients
Feature roadmaps could be more clear. Would like to know when features that pertain to MY environment are being released (otherwise it becomes white noise).

Okta is great. Easy to use. Easy to manage! We're using Okta for SSO, MDM and employee personal password management. We've had a very positive return on investment with our audience. Everyone loves it.

It was overall a good experience to use okta as I had a good understanding after the use and client had it easy to understand and makes her more comfortable around the tool
Avantages
It’s very efficient for the client to get all the work papers controls ready and easy to use. Makes it very helpful for the client to understand what is actually tested in the audit.
Inconvénients
Need a basic understanding of the okta tool before working on it directly. You need to understand the automated fields popped up which you can use.

OKTA has been a great tool for our company. We started to leverage it more and more as we migrated services to the cloud. Our user really jump on board due to OkTA's simplicity and effectiveness. It's been great for navigating our 20 plus cloud apps we leverage everyday. OKTA is also great to manage from an IT stand point. If there is anything we can't solve OKTA is very responsive and helpful when troubleshooting issues.
Avantages
Very user friendly and easy to use. Also, pretty straight forward when managing it on the backend.
Inconvénients
Doesn't support every app, but OKTA does a great job at responding to requests.

I prefer other authenticators
It was good. I knew that the info was well protected. It just took me forever to figure out how to use the platform and I felt like it was way too difficult to use.
Avantages
I like that it's very secure. I felt like the information I was accessing was well protected and that Okta was definitely doing it's job
Inconvénients
It was not intuitive at all and I felt like it was way too difficult to set up. I've used other authenticators such as Microsoft or Google and I much prefer those.

Okta keeps me sane
Easy to use from an end user perspective, which is always nice in a sales office where changes are looked upon with suspicion.
Avantages
Okta keeps me from needing to remember a million different passwords, including secure sites like ADP which you can't get from tools like LastPass.
They also have a mobile app which is nice.
Inconvénients
The mobile app doesn't log you into other apps, it just takes you into the site through a web browser. This would be nice, except it doesn't always populate your credentials, which kind of defeats the purpose

Easy to use and quick access to many different accounts
Avantages
Its quick and easy to use, on top of being secure. I can organize all of my most used apps and it makes sign in fast and simple.
Inconvénients
There aren't many things that I don't like. Perhaps more options for the layout would be nice to have but I am happy with the current product.

Avantages
Best thing about Okta is that it is a one-push solution. No need to enter a randomized number every time. Just one push and it's good to go
Inconvénients
It's a little difficult to set up on some phones (like older iPhones), in which case you do have to default to randomized number.

SSO Made Easy
Tasked to implement SSO, we did what most people do at first...build it internally (it's cheaper they say), and ran into same challenges I saw peers experience in the past. We analyzed Okta, found some funding, and implemented quickly. IT loves it. The business loves it. We have about 15 applications inside and people can access all their tools from any device. We have a line of business units asking us to put more apps into Okta. Customer support is great - customer focus is their top mantra. The Okta community helps each other out by passing on great knowledge as well.

Avantages
The most thing I like about okta is their customer service. I had an issue and they were able to help and resolve it right away. It took me getting to talk to a few people but once the right person got to me, they figured it out.
Inconvénients
What I dont like is that i dont feel is as user-friendly as it should be. I think they can do a better job at making things more simple.

Okta is so easy
Avantages
It's so easy to use for snow days like today when I'm working from home! I just send a push notification to get logged in and I can easy log in with my laptop. It's also great for keeping all of our applications in one place!
Inconvénients
Sometimes if there's a heavy amount of people trying to get on in one area you won't be able to log on, but I think that's standard for overload with any software use.

Okta's more than Okay
Okta isn't just Single Sign On, it's an identity solution. They have lots of features that provide added value including active directory integration, multi-factor authentication, and a huge library of pre-verified (integrated), applications. Their support doesn't just stop at a phone call either. They give you the knowledge and tools to conquer the cloud.
Avantages
Rapid integration and deployment of apps as well as an easy to use interface.
Inconvénients
Support for on-premises applications is limited but exists.

Great identity and password platform
Okta helps me manage my accounts and passwords so they're secure.
Avantages
Our company has so many different tools and logins, that Okta is a lifesaver. I can log into Okta and then access all of my other accounts.
Inconvénients
It required me to add the plugin to Chrome, and I'm unsure on their privacy policy. Ideally they'd be a bit more transparent around what data they are and aren't collecting.

Avantages
Okta is a simple and easy to use platform that is extremely safe and secure. The ability to have single sign-on and app management makes Okta a a one-stop-shop for identity management.
Inconvénients
Okta looks a bit clunky, bordering on out-dated and can be a bit cost prohibitive. The one time we contacted customer service, we did not have the greatest experience, but it wasn't bad enough to be a deal breaker.

Okta makes sign in simple. But it's platform is powerful. So many identities managed in one convenient area. Technically it works very well and visually it's easy to navigate

If you want to get all your identities tied together and reduce the number of passwords your users have to remember then this is a fantastic solution.
Inconvénients
Not really any other than the obvious... be aware of costs, but its standard to be charged per user these days.

Okta was already implemented when I joined the company and I am glad it was. It has made adding new systems and applications for users almost too easy.
Avantages
-alot of preconfigured applications.
-SAML setup is quick and easy(atleast on the Okta side).
-reduced user accounts that need to be managed.

Okta is easy easy easy!
We recently just switched over to Okta and I have to say it's been awesome. I'm not an Okta admin so I can't speak to how the implementation was or anything of that sort, but as a user I love being able to go in and log in to any one of my systems. It makes life just a lot easier. The UI is awesome and very easy to get acquainted with so no worries on that front either. Thank you Okta!

Okta is a good portal for several different apps
Avantages
I enjoy that you can customize the pinning of certain services/apps and that it is quick, fast, and responsive.
Inconvénients
I do not like the limited features it offers as far as the apps are concerned. It is very basic, and maybe that is what it was designed for.

Single Sign-on is the best!
I ALWAYS forget my password, our company uses SO many tools and i always have to go through the whole "forgot my password" process every time I need to login anywhere. Ever since we got Okta it has become SO much easier to login to tools and saves me alot of time. I would highly recommend using Okta at your company - especially if you are using alot of different tools!

Single Sign-On Made Easy
We originally chose Okta to sync our on-premise AD credentials with Office 365 so our users would not need to remember another set. Now, Okta is the goto cloud app for provisioning applications based on our AD groups. Personally, I have over 85 apps on my Okta homepage and I often wonder how I managed all of those credentials before I deployed Okta.

Okta FTW!
We implemented Okta many months back, it was easy to roll out and has an amazing array of apps. We still give high-fives from our users and I'm a big fan do to the number of vendors and internal sites I need to reach.

I love Okta! It's a great time saver when you have so many sites utilized daily - and not having to remember all the different passwords is a great bonus!

best SSO i've ever experienced
I used the SSO at this for a former job. It was so easy to use, especially compared to other SSO products. It was also simple to configure individually.

Best Cloud SSO Service We Could FInd
After a thorough review of the makret and a decent amount of testing, Okta was the best cloud SSO we could find. So far we are 3 months into production and have no complaints so far!
