Avantages
I like that it saves all my log in info for all apps, so I only have to log in to one thing instead off 10
Inconvénients
It doesn't have some of the software that we use, so I still have to log in to those.

Perfect for Protecting Your Data
Avantages
Most companies now deal with customers personal information. Okta is an added layer of protection that I sign into before accessing my tools to verify that it is me behind the screen.
With push notifications that come straight to my phone, it's very easy to verify my identity. I like this much better than the software my university was using while I was in college. Okta is much easier.
Inconvénients
I haven't been using is long enough to have anything negative to say.

I love single sign on!
Avantages

One password for multiple sites.
Avantages
Okta makes it easy to use o e password for multiple sites. It beats a password saver program. Makes it super easy to pay bills too!
Inconvénients
Some times setting up a new site to log into is cumbersome but it’s worth messing with.

Top Identity Management Solution
In my experience as a user, Okta has been very simple and easy to use. I think it serves its purpose well.
Avantages
As a user, it is really easy to just go to my Okta console and sign-in to the several sites that my work as connected to Okta. It makes my life easier, and allowing the company to manage the users' access through Okta makes the company's resources more secure.
Inconvénients
It can be annoying as a user to have to go through Okta every time I want to login to an app, so if your company doesn't need the security than Okta can be overkill.

I have the ability to utilize different portals via my desktop or via phone.
Avantages

Overall, Okta is an excellent solution to help secure your users while giving true SSO with MFA.
Avantages
It is an easy solution to use out of the box with the application that they currently support. It has excellent reporting. The SSO integrations are quick and easy. MFA is very easy to deploy as well.
Inconvénients
If you want to build your own application to integrate, you will have to work with Okta support as it will be challenging to do on your own. It is not impossible, it just takes more work. If you use application they support out of the box, it works excellent.

Good for verifying identity
It worked for verifying my mobile email service for work.
Avantages
I used Okta verify to access my mobile outlook for work on my phone. It worked pretty well but had to call customer support to get it working.
Inconvénients
I had to call customer support to find a solution for using their verify feature for my work email. It was a little trouble, but worked eventually.

Okta makes it incredibly easy to use stored company passwords to log into websites with one click.

There should be an easy way to alert IT (or whoever is the company's Okta administrator) if a password has expired.

My experience with this platform has been a pleasant one and is another tool to be used at the workplace when the need arises.
Avantages
I use this platform to be able to access my account at from home or cell phone, with the proper logins, this process makes my job easier.

Not for contractor
Avantages
I have nothing to say at this stage. The experience is so bad that I do not want to get close to OKTA anymore.
Inconvénients
I am a contractor. I let the IT instal OKTA on MY laptop. I left the company and I can no longer user my google meet because of OKTA. I can not remove myself this add on. I am locked outside of my laptop. It is like installing a virus on my gear. I should be able to get rid of OKTA, even if it mean losing access to the system of the company. It is not controling my identity, it is controling MY device.

This SSO service makes administration of several sites incredibly simple and cuts down on time spent on support tickets.
Avantages
Okta makes frequently accessing multiple websites and services a breeze. It saves a lot of time by remembering your credentials so you don't have to type your username and password every single time. In a role where multiple application access is needed, this SSO services is a massive time saver.
Inconvénients
On the administrative side, the user password for Okta can get corrupted when a user updates their AD password occasionally.

I really do like Okta Android application. It has everything that I need and nothing more making it easy to use.

Default pop up authentication is not the most secure way of two factor authentication method but it can be easily changed.

Overall, if you need help managing your logins securely and effectively, Okta is the way to go!
Avantages
If you are anything like many of us in our company, you have so many logins for so many systems that it can be hard to manage all of them securely. In comes Okta to take care of this all for you.

Sometimes the software we have Okta can't save our logins and cannot recognize access.

Useful identity access management with several integrations
Avantages
Centralised permission and access controls that would be difficult for small businesses to setup and maintain themselves. Customisable login screen. Integrations with many other services. Multi-factor authentication.
Inconvénients
Access management is a very critical operation. If Okta goes down (although this is very rare), it can be difficult to get much work done.

SSO for External Clients and Partners
As a company that was formed due a recent merger, we had multiple client facing applications each with its own registration processes, business rules validation, disparate user stores without any centralized support. Implementing Okta helped us overcome all these issues and has made our customers super happy. They have ONE login to access all client facing applications from a single portal. We have now have the capability to add SSO additional systems in hours as we go along our path of providing a superior user experience for our customers. Our internal support staff are excited at being able to provide quick support and resolve user login and access issues in a matter of minutes. Overall, Okta has simplified things for us. The robust API helped to build our own custom user management capabilities. Love the OOB reporting capabilities. Installation was a breeze, Professional services Consultants were very knowledgeable and helpful and Support has been great as well! Overall, Okta has a great product and wonderful people to work with. We are very happy with our decision as it makes our employees productive and our clients happy.

So far so good. My company saw Okta as a secure option to allow people from my organization to connect globally with a single sign-on.
Avantages
My company recently switched to this software for its global single sign-on system. It was a seamless switch, and I've not had any login issues. This allows my organization to safely connect globally with some of our platforms.
Inconvénients
So far I haven't yet had any problems since my company started using this software about eight months ago. I haven't heard any coworkers having issues either.

Effective and tedious
Avantages
I use Okta for single sign on and multi-factor authentication. It works great from a security standpoint.
Inconvénients
Okta is often times tedious having to fill out the master password and go through multiple factors of authentication. Sometimes it requests this while I am using an app and I get logged out.

Great for SSO
So far my experience with Okta has been positive - it saves us a ton of time through its single sign on. It's also keeping our information safe which is a huge plus!
Avantages
The best thing about Okta is the fact that I can access all the different applications and softwares that I need to use in my day-to-day within a single platform.
Inconvénients
There was one incident where we had a connection issue with our payment software within Okta which was somewhat difficult to fix but we were eventually able to get it working again within Okta.

I like that Okta has all apps that I need for work use in one section. I do not have to enter my password each time and it very convenient.

Okta to streamline SSO and Application Access
Overall it makes securing and centralizing a lot of different apps and services simple and easy to manage and present to different users and groups.
Avantages
I really like the simple interface and being able to customize what applications are available to users and the ease of SSO across our suite of apps we use.
Inconvénients
There doesn't seemed to always be a unified experience with regard to login/logout timeouts so there is sometimes 3rd party apps will require relogging in more than others. Not necessarily an issue with Okta.

Strong and simple authenticator
Okta helps is making our applications more secure. Especially, it adds a layer of security over the existing password based authentication.
Avantages
I am using okta for 2nd factor authentication for all the applications in our organisation. It is simple to set up and use. It provides all the functionalities needed like QR scanner.
Inconvénients
Lot of repetitive emails after each authentication or authentication attempt. I could not find the configuration to switch off this option.

Cloud identity services made simple
Avantages
Okta is a cloud solution who can deliver Sso to your it solutions. Easy to implement, able to interact with activ directory,multi factor authentification are also avalaible for a minimum price. API are also available if you want to do infrastructures as a code, hybrid cloud or DevOPS.
Inconvénients
Because it is cloud dependent if you lose access to your cloud you lose access to okta also. Also getting on site support is not okta approach so you must stay with an online support.

Authentication in a Cloud-based World
We are able to meet our ITGC requirements and safely allow our employees to access cloud based systems at the times and places most convenient to them.
Avantages
Okta provides that additional layer of security for employees accessing company systems on public devices or personal devices, versus always on their company issues computer and company network.
Inconvénients
I havent found a way to use okta on both my work iPhone and personal android which can be inconvenient as I often use the devices interchangeably.

Avantages
It provides a convenient way to log in to accounts. I hate trying to remember all my passwords and this saves me time and frustration.
Inconvénients
I have no grounds to be skeptical from any experience I've had so far, but I do feel cautious with my passwords and it makes me wonder what would happen if my computer were stolen. Like I said, I have not had an experience that would make me doubt Okta. Just my own paranoid thoughts.

Worked pretty well the time I used it.
I really did not experience any issues with the software, though I am an experienced user with cloud software. some newer users might experience some issues, but this is not the target market of software by any means.
Avantages
Honestly, I didn't use this software very much, but the little I did it provided a great means of protection across a verity of platforms. It's hard for me to say if the price was worth it as I was a down line user, but everything else seemed to be fine with the software.

Overall we have had a great experience with the software and will continue to use it.
