Avantages

I love Trainerize is always updating the app to make the features even better. Since they ask all clients to input thoughts or vote for ideas. The features that get implemented are always what I need! I wouldn't even think about the added feature but be so grateful once its updated to the app. I also like that customer support is very quick to respond. The platform is used friendly and there are tons of video tutorials. Best part is I have my own app and logo in both the Apple/Google Play Store. It makes me feel so accomplished, professional, and tech savvy!

Inconvénients

Honestly none. Since Trainerize and constantly improving I have no issues.

Avantages

What I like most: video software, ability to upload all client documents in one place, the ease of being able to track a clients progress and hold them accountable, the ease for making changes on the fly when needed.

Inconvénients

The things that could use improvement: signing up a new client is always just a bit confusing in terms of "did they get the welcome email". Also, I wish that I could directly reply to client messages from the e-mail that is sent to my inbox.

What I like least is that I don't use the platform to its fullest potentionial. Something very minor about the platform that I may suggest is the ability for users to see their whole workout/ program without the videos first and then be able to click into an exercise if they need a demo. Some exercisers are more advanced than others/ may have been on a program for a little while and are familiar with the exercises already. This May make it easier for the client to see their workout/ program in its entirety and could save them a lot of scroll time on their phone.

The video call feature is poor, needlessly messy. It looks like it sends you out to a chat room, it would be much easier to just press the video button and go from there

So trainerize is mostly directed at personal trainers to use with their clients, but we have been using it for office-based fitness as part of a competition/motivation. There are a bunch of fitness videos, and it's easy to send them out to our employees. There's also a tracking tool which makes it easy to track everyone's progress head to head. Furthermore, we've found the timers very helpful for workout times and rest. The ability to chart/track weight, workout time, progress, and goals makes it useful as part of our weight loss competition, but is also vital for individual goals if you're a personal trainer for your client. The ability to add meal plans is just another great tool for this health app.

Inconvénients

Not much to complain about. Perhaps the only one is you need an internet connection to use it, which is usually not a problem, but it would be nice to have offline functionality and access to videos.

Avantages

I love having "systems" in place to make my clients experience as great as possible. This app does exactly that! From the personal branding to the tracking of workouts, syncing with FitBit and MyFitnessPal, and a messaging feature, all of these contribute to an amazing experience in addition to my coaching.

Inconvénients

If I have to say anything, it would be a better way to upload documents to deliver to clients and the ability to copy saved auto messages. I have check in questions that I ask my clients every single week and documents that I like to deliver to them throughout the course of a program. The ability to do both of these would be amazing! However, I love that the team at Trainerize takes user suggestions very seriously and does their best to deliver on them. I am sure that both of these features will be added in the future.

I like the ease in building a program for myself and my clients! Great database of exercises available and really happy that it syncs with YouTube.

Inconvénients

My biggest complaint is the Trainerize exercise video selections. The video database is growing but there are only 2 instructors to choose from. Only one of them seems friendly, confident and professional when verbalizing and demonstrating the exercises. The other instructor seems lost and unprepared, as well as, unhappy. (I avoid videos with him demonstrating as much as possible.) It would also be great to see some female instructors, as my female clients would probably appreciate that.

I wish videos could be sent in messenger, could set client macro goals (daily adjustable cycles) and customize nutrition without having to use another software program, and that it had a way to track menstrual cycle for female clients.

The MOST beneficial thing about this software is the ability to import videos. This reminds me of what my workout should look like, how to do it correctly, and stay on track.

When synced with email, I feel as though I get messages all day long.

What I liked most about train arrive is first and foremost how user-friendly it is. This is especially important because I found myself using the app either during or in-between working with clients, so I needed something quick, easy, and functional. It also addresses all of the major areas needed to track your client from start to finish – creating their profile and entering periodic data to reflect their results.

Inconvénients

The fact that it would automatically generate emails/messages to my clients that were not from me and that I did not know about until I was told by my clients or went into the app on my own and saw them generated and sent automatically electronic.

It's very simple yet very thorough and effecient.

Inconvénients

It's not really a con but I wish there were aspects directed toward athletic teams. For example sport specific works and periodization programs including different cycles. Two cons, not being able to add documents to groups. The second con is not being able to record a video quickly with the appear.in app and leaving the video in one of the fitness or team groups.

I like that I can keep an eye on my clients, keep them accountable and be able to keep my workout programs and assign to my clients easily

I cannot book or charge my clients from this app, I have to use Square or Quickbook or another method of payment :o(

I love using Trainerize and there are a lot of reasons for that. One of them is its easiness to use it. You can easily make an account and start being healthy! One of the greatest things about the software is that they have the BEST customer service ever! I had a lot of problems at the beginning but all of them were solved very soon with the help of their customer service. Also, workout data they are showing are incredible easy to understand.

I have had some connection issues although I was sure that my internet connection was very good. When I am not using different apps in the background the software works fine. However, when I have to use some of the apps at the same time, I seem to have a lot of freezing issues as well.

The ease in building out programs was awesome. I liked the functionality of it, with scheduling messages and such. It was easier to build programs here than other programs.

I work about 50 hours a week at my in-person job and the trainerize program allows me to connect with more clients and bring in a second income without adding tons of hours to my week! I have been using Trainerize for three years now and will continue to use it with my clients as the company keeps improving the service!

The drag and drop feature for designing workouts as well as the auto-reminders/correspondence with clients.

Not a fan of the video demos that come with it. We shot and produced over 200 of our own videos to use instead. However, we would've done this for branding reasons regardless. We'd like it if exercise selection defaulted to the customized exercises we uploaded--especially when "substituting" exercises.

I love how easy it is to use and has all the capabilities in one app for my clients. It makes things easier for both myself and my clients. I love that it has videos of each exercise as well since I am not with my clientele in person it gives me a peace of mind.

Sometimes on my MAC it won't let me scroll down on certain features to press submit or certain criteria, specifically with the nutrition goals page.

If you want to build your healt with personal trainer you can use this stuff for it. Clients can track workouts, nutrition, fitness targets, progress photos, and more. Very good software for both gym users and personal trainers. I use it for about 6 months and don't want the other :)

Ease of use, setting up of clients and the integration of video external to the platform have been the most attractive things to me. The clients love the interface and the app. Every update thus far has been geared towards the client experience which helps.

Such an easy platform to train multiple clients and with the custom branding option it creates a personalized interface for the user. I’ve been with trainerize for nearly 2 years and how much they have evolved and developed is incredible.
