Un outil parfait pour ses réseaux sociaux !

Avantages

Pouvoir gérer les réseaux, analyser les retombés, suivre les performances sur les réseaux et ainsi mieux comprendre ses campagnes de community management : tout est possible avec Sprout ce qui en fait une solution idéale et très pratique à utiliser au quotidien sur le Web, voire même indispensable !

Inconvénients

Si Sprout permet d'avoir beaucoup d'information sur ses réseaux sociaux, on pourrait lui reprocher de proposer de façon payante des informations qu'on obtient gratuitement via Facebook par exemple.

Happy User

I've used Sprout Social across multiple jobs and have always been happy with the product and their team.

Avantages

Sprout Social is one of the best products for social media management and reporting because they have strong relationships with social media platforms. I've worked with other products in the past that constantly had disruptions due to the platform APIs.

Inconvénients

I wish they had access to more data (e.g. Instagram Reels, organic-only performance) , but it's an API limitation.

Great for Bigger Businesses, Not Sure About Small Folks...

Avantages

I love how easy the platform is to use! Extremely user-friendly social media management, content scheduling, and analytical reporting. It is similar to a lot of products on the market but I'd say this is great for beginning SMMs.

Inconvénients

The pricing model can be a bit steep, especially for smaller businesses. I have used it in a social media management and marketing capacity in my job, but because we are rural and the department does not receive much funding, the cost was a bit hard for me to stick with. I've also used Hootsuite, which has similar offerings, and I prefer their pricing model more.

Nicer interface than Hootsuite

It puts all our social media profiles in one place for the small businesses that we manage. We can run customized reports that show the analytics for single or multiple profiles to see which posts are the most engaging and our follower/friend counts. Replying to questions or messages is easy to do right in Sprout. It streamlines what would be a cumbersome process of monitoring profiles for about 15 profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You can also see the feeds of handles you follow to find and reply to posts on Twitter.

Avantages

Sprout lets you add multiple profiles from multiple platforms and schedule social media posts at whatever times you want or using a queue with times set by you. The listening stream can be customized so that you can choose whatever profiles/hashtags you want to see at that time. You can reply, assign posts, forward posts, retweet, retweet with comments all from the news stream. It works well with Zapier for RSS automatic posting of blog posts also. We started using it about 7-8 years ago, and the price has not changed for us, so it's a very good value for our money. The dashboard is easy to use and has multiple types of views, like calendar, so you can see if you have a lot of messages bunched up and spread them out. Support is good and the Sprout All Stars Slack group is another souce of information. Over time features have changed because of changes to Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn, but Sprout has consistently improved the platform and added or revised features as needed. It's a great tool for small/medium businesses. You can mark messages as read/done to get them out of the stream.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the software logs you out when no one else is trying to log in. It can also sometimes seem like a post has not been scheduled but when you refresh the page, it is there. It works better with Twitter than Facebook or LinkedIn, so if those are your main platforms you may want a different tool. I think the issue may be more with FB and LI changing their rules than Sprout.

The best social media tool out there

Avantages

The smart inbox! I first got Sprout to save the problem of managing so many accounts and trying to stay focused and sane. The Smart inbox was a gamechanger. Since then it's evolved well and packs some really powerful features to simplify and scale not just outbound social, but inbound social and that's where it really stands out.

Inconvénients

Literally, the only thing that stops me recommending this to everyone is the cost. And it's not really a con, it's aimed now at a more professional market so I totally get it. I'm grandfathered into an old plan and it's a shame that as such an early adopter I'm not given more of the new features, once again I understand it, but I think it does say a lot about a company. As new features are released you want to see the early supporters rewarded. It would also be nice to see recurring posts as an option or a way for people to be able to store social media content to quickly re-use.

As a growing agency, we are always looking for tools that would allow us to reduce overhead and time wasting within our team. Sprout social was the perfect tool for us.

Sprout Social collects all of the messages the social channels receives into a single inbox. This allows us to respond to enquiries in timely manner and ease. In addition, sprout social provides us with cross platform profiling of our followers, which allows us to identify loyal customers, potential sales leads and troublemakers (trolls).

In addition, their robust analytics allow us to create amazing reports with a few simple clicks, with many beautiful graphs and artworks.

More importantly, the team structure and roles is quite essential for our operations, from content drafting, to review processes to approvals and team control.

Inconvénients

Social listening is not as powerful as competitors. We are subscribed to Synthesio alongside Sprout Social to do proper listening and monitoring.

Some of our team members prefer the tabbed design of Hootsuite over the single inbox within Sprout Social.

Sprout Social

I like using Sprout Social when I need to collaborate with others, get approval on content and schedule various pieces of content on multiple channels. The analytics are a great asset. The tool makes content creation and management easy, so your team can focus on strategy rather than execution.

Avantages

Great interface! It's really easy to use. It's great for managing multiple channels and even multiple accounts. The analytics are really easy to understand, I definitely prefer them to other tools I've used (like Hootsuite).

Inconvénients

It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. At the end of the day the analytics and ease of use are what's most important to me.

Anyone who does social performance review for an agency should use Sprout

I was solving ROI reporting on social with sprout. The benefits it provided was a clear, concise and visually reliable way to share measurements, in depth.

Avantages

I loved the detailed and infographic delivered metrics - it not only made it simple for me to understand, but my clients loved it and were able to narrate the story with just a little bit of reporting text.

Inconvénients

I wish that it had more customizable reporting at times, and that social listening was a little more akin to a Radian6 at the time I was using it.

Great social media managing platform

Avantages

The software is very comprehensive, you can add lots of different channels. You can work in different ways depending on the type of company you have (with divisions for your different brands if appropriate). It makes it consequently easy to use for small structures, as well as larger companies.

Inconvénients

Some specific features that are on Social Media channels itself, such as Facebook, are not available on the platform (but not on any other platforms either - eg. in post translation on Facebook). The day this is addressed will be great.

Sprout social is de oplossing voor wie niet elke dag of week wil bezig zijn met het posten van berichten op sociale media. Je kan de posts namelijk makkelijk inplannen via deze tool. Zo hoef je je geen zorgen te maken dat je eens een post vergeet. Het plannen van de content gaat heel vlot, één keer proberen en je bent ermee weg. Bovendien bewaar je in de tool een overzicht van alle socialemediakanalen van je bedrijf.

Inconvénients

In Instagram Stories zijn er nog heel wat mogelijkheden qua stickers, links etc. Die zijn nog niet volledig opgenomen of ten volle uitgewerkt in Sprout Social waardoor je alsnog stories manueel moet plaatsen.

Do not use Sprout

We have tried several times to get appointments and nobody answers

Good but not great - Sprout Social

I was the administrator.

Avantages

The ease of resharing previous posts. And the reporting capabilities.

Inconvénients

It was impossible to get the image that was with the blog post into the queue. That meant I had to go out and search for, download and upload images for each post. That was time consuming and seems like it could be avoided.

Growing with Sprout

Social media for a business can be daunting and a chore wholly unto itself, particularly because it is so necessary in today's world, but Sprout makes it that much easier for which I am grateful

Considered SproutSocial for our reporting needs, but decided to go with another option

Avantages

Loved the look and feel of the reports, there was lots of great info available including top cities, etc.

Inconvénients

Pricing was high. There was no easy way to create a report that showed all of the networks that we needed to have shown. There was also no way to customize which data was shown, so some of the metrics that we'd prefer to leave off of the report HAD to be included, which was a bit of a deal breaker for us.

The platform is very intrinsic.

Avantages

It took only minutes to learn. Our social media team works uses this software. Multiple users can have login and passwords.

Inconvénients

I could not find an easy way to report on the number of retweets we got. We ended up manually counting. We were trying to determine the number of retweets for one of our partners.

Sprout Social Review

Avantages

My company used Sprout Social to impalement and execute a social media contest campaign in the month of April and saw high success. The tools available through Sprout helped us effortlessly market the campaign within Sprout.

Inconvénients

I have no complaints about Sprout given our limited time with the software.
