My overall experience with Sortly is very user-friendly and easy to use
Avantages
I really like the way we can organize our inventory with Sortly and that we can create different folders for different categories of items for our inventory, and also the scan barcode feature.
Inconvénients
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Not anything right now that I would like to change.

My inventory management was none existent until I found Sortly. Now, everything is labeled and easy to find using the app or the website. Couldn't have asked for more!

Reasonably priced answer for accurate inventory
We are fully using Sortly, because of the features and ease of use, we believe it is a permanent solution for our company at our current size.
Avantages
WIth the proper implementation and preparation Sortly was easy to set up and manage for our whole team to use.
Inconvénients
Moving parts is too easy, this can cause mistakes and has to be policed.

Great way to keep our home staging business running
Overall it is pretty stream lined, and we love that we can upload pictures of both the item in unit, as well as pictures from staging. It helps us be able to pull a project together, without having to go out to our storage unit to dig for a specific piece.
Avantages
We really like being able to know exactly what we have and where the pieces are. We have had to sit down multiple times as a team, and remember which house has which pieces or bed sizes. So being able to flick through our different projects separated out on the app has saved us a lot of time. Also getting to upload a lot of photos for each item has been helpful. We've been able to put not only pictures of the item at our storage facility but also listing photos.
Inconvénients
We're a home staging business, so we don't have products necessarily. We have furniture pieces that swap between houses, and storage. So it would be helpful to make it easier to move those items quickly from one folder to another without having to go through multiple windows and confirmations.

overall experience is very positive- this is our first crack at an inventory system and it feels very advanced for a small company- and underscoring the ease of use!

I love having our inventory up on a system that is digital and searchable, it's a time saver and we can really see our full inventory at a glance.

honestly haven't found a dislike yet- so far so good. It's really nice to be able to search our inventory.

I really have no complaints and would highly recommend it due to it's ease of use. I was very new coming into this position and had to find an effective, efficient way to track supplies, Sortly has done everything and more to help accomplish this!
Avantages
I really like how easy it is to use and the ability to create categories and folders with pictures.
Inconvénients
I am really happy with Sortly! It would be nice to have a section in each item that showed how much of that specific item increased or decreased, at a glance, without using the "transactions" option in the top right of each item folder. I would like to be able to click on the item in Sortly and see how much of that product was used and be able to set a time range default.

Changed my business for the good
It's changed my business and made things so much easier when I prepare for projects.

I love that I can add pictures, create folders, and move things easily from one folder to the other.

When I need to print a list. I have to download/export first in order to print it. Once it exports it doesn't take me to the document. I have to dig for it to print it or email it.

I have good experience with sortly when it is the first inventory software I have deal with. anyhow I have problem on inventory report for pass period or for specific date

Great product for the price
This is a very user friendly system; able to set up in minimal time. Customer support has been good to answer questions. We did not pay for the Enterprise edition so that is something we are looking into right now.
Avantages
Sortly is easy to use and to set up. Good support that is always responsive to questions. inventory is easy to move around as needed. Import process is very easy to use as well.
Inconvénients
We use thermostat serial numbers so it would be great if those could be put in some kind of alphabetical order when you are searching through a pick list. It does have limited number of items unless you pay for the Enterprise edition; that is fair but sometimes limited when you have alot of inventory over time.

Useful inventory tool
It's been generally good. As I've gotten more used to it, it's gotten faster to use which has made me like it better.
Avantages
I just like having an inventory system at all. I love the organization. I like being able to move all of the items in a folder to another place also, as I have mobile shelves that change locations.
Inconvénients
I haven't found it intuitive to add more of an existing product, especially by barcode, without ending up with duplicates. When items are stored in different places, it would be nice to have them linked to each other to tell you where the others are when you run out. If that is possible, I haven't found it.

The only way to visually organize our large inventory of antique lighting

Visual inventory tool, mobile and online versions work seamlessly. QR codes allow us to easily look up more information on box contents. Customizable format allowed us, in a very niche industry to have a database product that tracks the information we need, and only the inventory we need. Very easy to use and customize.
Inconvénients
Clunky interface to print labels, many functions, such as search for tags are not available on the mobile version, and expensive.

LOVE SORTLY
We love sortly so far. We haven't had an inventory system and this has made things a lot easier and better for the whole office.
Avantages
How it tracks and produces reports. The system allows for us to keep track of how much we have in our shop and warranty van. It is something we can't believe we've worked without.

Great Inventory Tool
Avantages
Finding and implementing Sortly helped us take control of our Inventory. I can track what comes in and what goes out from anywhere. I can create a label with a QR code and a picture so anyone on our staff can accurately pull the right item needed. I send monthly inventory updates to our clients and they love it.
Inconvénients
This product works and is great for a small business like ours. We used a google sheet prior and Sortly is way more compatible for our business.

Does not work with the program Jobber, as that is our scheduling and billing platform. It would make life greatly better if this was supported. I would love to be able to import specific folders for specific jobs so each item wouldn't have to be manually inserted.
Limited amount of individual users for price points. We have large potential for Sortly but the price seems high for additional users.

The startup cost was extremely palatable, and implementation/training was simplistic.
Inconvénients
The only 2 issues I have run across are
1: often there is a lag on the server
2: there have been several occassions when we transfer or move an item on the mobile app but it does not transfer to the main online based portion.

I like that I don't have to log in whenever I open the app. I can create inventory if I don't have it.
Avantages
Ease of access. I like that I can add items that aren't in my inventory.
Inconvénients
I don't have any issues with Sortly. :)
