It’s very easy to use and set up. For a small business, it is exactly what I need to keep track of item movements.
Inconvénients
SKU changes are not reflected across different locations / folders. For example, if I update the title or pics, I have to do the changes in each of the location / folder

Inconvénients
It costs extra to use a barcode scanner. Would make things easier to use a scanner in the inventory room but its not worth the added increase to yearly fee. We just leave an old cell phone in the room instead. Sometimes search doesn't work well or an item scanned says not found but it's rare

Sortly at Sea - Event.Cruises
It has been pretty good with Sortly, it helped speed up how we catalogue inventory for loading and placing back where it should go.
Avantages
Sortly lets us have a mobile option for adding or replacing items into our load outs for events at sea. We have to have a pretty well managed inventory of items due to US Customs and cruise ship requirements for loading and unloading. Sortly made this easier.
Inconvénients
The thing I liked least about sortly was the cost and the limit per seat for that cost. Some of the barcode scanning as well can be hit or miss but I think that is understandable considering the amount of barcodes.

Overall, my experience with Sortly has been awesome! It helps us very much with keeping all of our inventory with our cleaning supplies very organized and I know when to order more by looking at it when I have my cleaner update it!

It was so easy to set up the different folders with each category and item and it's very easy to navigate.

Good Solution for a Diverse Industry
Overall a positive experience and we continue to utilize new features weekly.
Avantages
The ease of entering our products into Sortly was a big plus. We also link our vendors to the products so any users can quickly replace stock.
Inconvénients
We would love the ability to change units on products already entered into the system. When changing how we record usage from feet to inches or feet to yards, would be a big benefit to flexibility to the user.

It has been super helpful with keeping up with our stock, and it lets me know when i am running low things. We have not run out of any material since we started using Sortly.

Sortly is super simple to navigate! You do not have a lot of experience with inventory systems to use this product.

Overall our experience with Sortly has been very positive.
Avantages
We inventory EVERYTHING with Sortly and use it for ordering to stay ahead of our constant supply flow.
Inconvénients
I wish the minimum levels and low stock alerts worked a little differently. They currently flag when they are at the minimum number, but we do not order until we are below the minimum. Thus we have to play the game of making our minimum one less than our actual preferred inventory, and train our staff to wrap their heads around this concept.

The app was very easy to use for my business. I was able to locate every category in an organized matter.
Inconvénients
The only thing that I don’t love was that there was only a limited amount of people that could be on one account. I think you had to pay for more people, but it would’ve been a little more convenient if the app would allow at least 4/5 people to use one account.

We think the purchasing order capability has room to improve. If it somehow can select items from an specific folder instead of all folders, it will be faster to add items to the purchase order.

A pretty good inventory management system
Avantages
Sortly checks all the boxes for a good inventory management system. Its mobile app is great, the system allows you to assign and create barcodes to items. You can count stock easily.
Inconvénients
It is what you’d expect and nothing more. There are no graphs or useful analytic tools. They charge an insane amount for what it is and it goes up even more for multiple users. The website is not intuitive at times (can’t open products in a new tab, pressing the back button causes a slow page reload, etc). Customer support isn’t that helpful or flexible, they’re quite greedy at times and have locked features behind paywalls. It’s just a database to count items yet they charge thousands a year. But I’m still paying it so it must be worth it to us! Saying all this, I haven’t found a better alternative so I’m going to keep using and recommending them. I just wish they’d create interesting features, nothing new gets added ever it seems.

Not the best for home organizers but gets the job done
Shortly is solidly fine. There are few other opt ok s for home organizers/move managers. It’s MUCH more expensive than what I need considering I manage a handful of moves each year. Every time I renew I’m bothered by how expensive it is…

Decent mobile interface, easy to search when you know what you’re looking for and tagging feature is very helpful.
Inconvénients
Photo quality is terrible. No spell check makes for long edits. No way to upload a mass edit update (unless that’s changed).

Great product for the price
This is a very user friendly system; able to set up in minimal time. Customer support has been good to answer questions. We did not pay for the Enterprise edition so that is something we are looking into right now.
Avantages
Sortly is easy to use and to set up. Good support that is always responsive to questions. inventory is easy to move around as needed. Import process is very easy to use as well.
Inconvénients
We use thermostat serial numbers so it would be great if those could be put in some kind of alphabetical order when you are searching through a pick list. It does have limited number of items unless you pay for the Enterprise edition; that is fair but sometimes limited when you have alot of inventory over time.

Sortly is a highly customizable solution, effective for businesses with one-of-a-kind inventory requiring custom fields and tracking. Set-up was seamless and easy. Maintaining inventory with the mobile/online accessible versions means I can access the tool wherever I am. I’m a very happy customer with no plans to leave.
Inconvénients
I wish Sortly integrated inventory management with my Shopify website, but it’s core functionality is so helpful that it’s not enough to sway my decision to use them.

Amazing experience so far with Sortly. I would definitely recommend to other companies that want to get a really good handle on their inventory.

Busy view, it took time to locate the right place with the right catalog. View cumulates different past and present catalogs items.
Interest vs final orders sheet not clear at first.
Confusing.
Avantages
Nothing really. It works well, but it is another tool using excel like sorting method; not adding value to our process in my pov.
Inconvénients
Interface is busy, we need to get familiar to understand and avoid mistake. But, we are just using it twice a year (we cannot select the proper frequency of use in the next page. I would put "6 months")
I see an extra tool as an extra possibility for mistakes.
I would aim to have the same tool for VA and displays so we have all info at the same place.
No confirmation of order is a pity.

Over-all Sortly is simple to use. You don't have to e a rocket scientist to use the app. Of course every app should be tried or used often to really know the capability of the app. FOr our company Sortly is what we need to organize our small warehouse

Works Great
It's a fine product. I've used many with most recently being Reftab. Sortly works great and the UI is nice.

Believe it or not, its the Recent Activity feed that I like the most. I can see what is getting consumed by our team and can react accordingly.
Inconvénients
I wish there was a dark mode in the browser. Not sure if there is a mobile app but I will check to see if there is as well as a dark mode.

Overall the Perfect Inventory Tracking Application
Avantages
The customer service is easily the best thing about Sortly. I receive a response to any questions typically within minutes and always within 24 hours. The customer service is helpful and kind!
Inconvénients
We occasionally will have lagging issues with inventory, items showing they are not there or in two places at once. This is usually just a quick fix with the sync feature.
