Geelus is a relatively affordable software for alterations stores and the ability to quickly change item settings from home is very convenient for busy people.

Inconvénients

There are too many options which makes it overwhelming at times.

Avantages

Everything we needed was already built and it's super easy to customize. No set up fees and free trial period really helped. New set ups take time to sort out and input everything. Also, Our business is complicated as we have 3 separate services in one shop. Since then, we have added more staff and we needed more administrative control.

Inconvénients

There is not anything I don't like at the moment. My only comment would be a more sleek modern 'look' would be cool.

Avantages

We really like how customizable the software is. It also includes every single feature that we were thinking our next software should to have, at a reasonble price. Their support is also fast and reliable.

Inconvénients

UI can be slightly improved but it's not a critical point

the polished look and feel of the platform for my business and the nice clean neat receipts for my clients.

the lack of customer support (it's a paid feature, yes you read that right you have to pay for customer service of their product!) the lack of "small print" regarding their pricing.

There’s no coloured option on receipts to get printed.

Another option for the process of items. Ex, scan item #x marked ironed or zigzagged but overall these were very minor details that day to day aren’t too important

what I love most is that they call to make sure you understand how to set up (a real live person) and also the walk you thru each step. No question is to small or go unanswered. [sensitive content hidden] is the best. I left the call feeling like I got this and the software is very user friendly.

There is nothing that I did not like. only if I had found them sooner. This is a life changing moment in my business.

Easy to Navigate, User Friendly, Customizable for the individual business, Able to run lots of different reports that help productivity, Easy to setup and edit features. All in one software for services performed, products sold, employee time-sheets, productivity logs and lots more.

The new version of this program works out a lot of the kinks of the older version and is much more user friendly and works on all types of devices.

The software is continuously being updated and changes made to better support the user experience. An impressive and timely change log is being uploaded regularly with clean and clear instructions on how to implement. If you are lucky enough to get the guru [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] as your Account Manager you will be able to have any question answered with confidence and in a timely manner.

The workflow m, scheduling and time management functions help with identifying staff issues and training opportunities. It allows for contractors and protects the business with its user access level functions. The new booking system integration and customer app function is another example of how they focus in driving efficient practice.

Inconvénients

I would like to see the user interface move more towards the modern style “skin” where it still has a look and feel of a dated program. This is cosmetic only.

I would like to see integration with Quickbooks payroll and inventory management.

We need more options for integrated eftpos users and online merchants.

I've been using Geelus since 2012 in my stores and it's been amazing! I can still go back to 7 years ago and see how my store has been performing back then. It's the go to software for most (if not all) alterations and tailoring businesses.

Inconvénients

I have recently switched to their new software which is released last year and I should say it's great as well. No negative points about the software but the only thing is that when I switched I wasn't able to bring historic data. I can however access my past records through the previous software but it would have been more convenient in the new app.

Design, user friendly, frequent updates, excellent customer service. We are a full service Dry Cleaning store. Geelus is crucial and a key part to our success. We are thankful for the program and appreciate the immediate response time when a question arises from their customer support. I've had the same representative call me and handle all of our concerns for the past 6 years we have been in business. We are family owned so we appreciate talking to the same person all these years.

I was able to connect cash register to software initially, but lately it doesn't sync.

keeping everything organized and up to date with orders coming in and going out. customers love the text messaging alert feature when orders are ready.

I love the simplicity and use of Geelus and also the fact that is in the cloud. The team continues to push out new features and I like that the system continues to evolve, as my business does. Coming from tailormax (which is outdated and terribly run software), I appreciate that the Geelus software is new and cutting edge. They understand the needs of their customers and will go to great lengths to achieve their happiness and satisfaction. The system is very easy to use once you get set up properly.

Inconvénients

I think the software can continue to get more advanced but I am absolutely confident that the team at GEELUS will do what it takes to get there. I am looking for more management and oversight ability across my multiple locations. More advanced reporting as well.

Straight forward and easy to use and understand. It has all the tools I need to run my business.

I am still getting used to the new software so at the moment i am just disliking the icons. For example the check button is not as obvious as the previous version.

Avantages

We've been able to do credit cards, used the excel exports a lot. This is to help me keep track of all employees time logs as well as knowing who is doing what.

I've been using their old software and now that I switched to the new one, I'm really happy.

Inconvénients

The payroll system for the new one VS the old one, does not yet help with Nevada state regulations. I have 3 shifts and I need to manually log out staff.

Avantages

It's easy to use, learn and I enjoy working with it everyday. I like how easy it is to serve the customers and making sure jobs are done on time before the customers come to collect.

The receipt is what it should be and in general I'm really happy.

IMO, the only thing missing was the quote feature and it has been added literally 2 days ago.

I love that it is very intuitive. Very easy to use and friendly. I fell inlove with it when I started using it.

Inconvénients

The only thing I don't like about it is that I can't call someone for help. I need to submit a ticket and be called back.
