It's okay. Not as compatible with Microsoft as I wish it was. But it was installed on my computer when I bought it, so I use it.

Inconvénients

I wish it was more compatible with Microsoft. The conversion isn't as good as I wish and has caused me issues at work where we use only Microsoft products.

Avantages

It is reliable, stable, and was easy to load on my computer. No annual subscriptions were necessary. Quick setup and ready to use.

Inconvénients

I had an issue with it conflicting with my anti-virus software, but it was an easy fix. So far I have not had any other problems.

Libreoffice is one of the best open source office suite. I used it in my open source team. LibreOffice has all the features of ms office. I like that it is simple and easy to understand

Inconvénients

Sometimes libreoffice is difficult to create mathematical equations. Also. some graphics is difficult to create.

Was lacking in a modern looking UI for a long time but they have finally updated it recently.

My children use this program in their school. It is free to download and works much like Word. I am surprised at how easy my children are able to download, operate, and print their homework. I am very impressed they have a program that allows them to do so. Thank you!

It does not offer everything it could. It is very basic. Although I am very grateful for it, to say what I liked least it would have to be that it could have more features.

I like it because it is much faster than its Microsoft counterpart, which is used in windows-based operating system. It has the same excel tools and the best thing is that you can use it both in windows and in linux.

Inconvénients

I do not like that the files are usually not compatible with excel, unless you save it in a compatibility format. where they can convert it into another operating system. Apart from this, you have to be aware when you copy information from one format to another because the information may not match.

This has all the same functionality and features of the big name Office Suite software but is free to use

It can take some getting used to because the layout it slightly different than the more popular Office software

Pros:

- Has almost all the same features as Microsoft Office. Coming with similar programs in the Microsoft Office suite it can create all of the documents and tables you need. So there is a very short learning curve as it works the same way.
- Free to use. The Office suite is completely free and offers the same range of services as pay to use software, making it a good prospect for uses trying to save money.

Cons:

- It does not save in the same default file format that Microsoft Office uses. So if you want to open a file that is in a Word file format it may cause issues and will need to be saved as the new default format.

I have used it on linux many times and I can easily vouch for the quality of the software. It handles images, graphs, objects easily. I have made a few spreadsheets and presentations which are large in size but still it handles them easily.Also it is open source so a lot of features are added routinely.

Inconvénients

One of the things I don't like is that it requires new templates to be manually updated. Another con you will face with the settings of margin and spacing,the same file made and changed on linux may appear with different spacings on foxit phantom or powerpoint.

I enjoyed the sense of ease and simplicity of the software, it has everything that Microsoft Office has but it is free for everyone and it is open source. I mostly used this software while using operating systems like Ubuntu or Linux Mint, I would create letters or resumes and choose whether I wanted to save my document in .odt or general .doc format.

Inconvénients

I encountered no problems while using this software. It is very simple to use and it is lightweight in resources while in use.
