Easy to use and very fast costumer service.

Super easy to use.

Avantages

More that one way to input information. Not like other software that you have to follow specific steps to do a specific task.

Inconvénients

The least thing to like about this software is that there is no account information on the receipts that you send to costumers.

Quirks

The program has a lot to offer and as I use it more, the more I find how easy it is to use.

Avantages

Dynamic, easy to use. Very comprehensive.

Inconvénients

There are a few features that could stand some clarification. The move out process before rent is due and then it charges rent regardless could use some work.

Great Software

Lots

Avantages

Ease of use getting new tenants in. Taking payments is fast. Printing reports makes easy to spot errors and correct them quickly

Inconvénients

To many updates it's hard tog keep track of what they are changing. I wish for a faster response time to trouble tickets on weekends

Quick and simple

Avantages

That it is easy to go from customer to customer. I can have multiple facility pages open at one time.

Inconvénients

The system runs very slow at times and will even shut down in the middle of the day. It tends to happen right in the middle of payment processing.

I enjoy the robust features of this software, especially the ability to implement new promo...

Enhanced communication with tenants is a huge bonus! It also sends automatic text reminders to tenants which frees up lots of time!

Avantages

Ability to text tenants, see if they receive and open our emails. I like the promo features and that they are constantly trying to improve and evolve.

Inconvénients

I wish I could email tenants directly from the software. I also don't like the " trickle down " bugs associated with cloud based software in general.

Good everyday management software

would recommend for any size units

Avantages

Easy to use for move-in, move out and everyday maintenance. Customer service is excellent and quick.

Inconvénients

Some things aren't obvious or intuitive. Many things require a call to customer service for assistance

I find it easy to use and manually input data.

It makes the day to day operations easy and keeps track of everything that deals with storage.

Avantages

I like that it is so user friendly and that it automatically does a lot of the work, calculations,updates, etc. I also like that it prompts before most actions which prevents mistakes.

Inconvénients

The tasks in the task bar are often not removed for a while once you check them off. I can't think of anything else.

Storedge Service

We were new to the Storage Rental Business and Storedge has made keeping track of our rentals and monthly rent a breeze.

Avantages

The ease of use.

Inconvénients

Would like a little more flexibility when setting up move in dates. Some times resident change the date they are moving in and it feels a bit bulky. Also would like to be able to take a security deposit before move it. Makes it easier to hold the unit.

Software relieves stress!

My experience has been really good with StorEdge. Fairly easy to set up (they did most of the work), and fairly easy to learn. There are a few elements we are not using and that needs to change, it will aid in running your storage business with less effort!

Avantages

Ease of seeing what's going on, who is late and by how much and what's been done about it. Their support team is prompt to respond.

Inconvénients

A little bit of a learning curve.

Customer support at Storedge is amazing they are always so patient and kind.

Avantages

It's all web-based making it easy to log in from anywhere and since I can upload customer documents i don't have paper files to maintain.

Inconvénients

I feel that a demo with storedge over certain features would be helpful in the training process. I know there is a help section that has a lot of information however I still have a hard time with implementing certain features.

Coming in to my job with no experience Storedge has made it an easy transition. Very convenient...

Avantages

I like that there are several different ways to reach what I am looking for. This makes it very easy to navigate. What may work for me may not work for someone else so having options is very convenient.

Inconvénients

I don't like that there is not way to prorate a persons rent if they are moving it early. We offer a prorated amount if they let us know by a certain day that they are moving out. We have to manually calculate the amount which prolongs the time the tenant is on the office which can lead to frustration.

User friendly and awesome support team!

Our Self Storage business, Green Storage Plus, in Spicewood Texas has been using StorEDGE Software for almost a year. I have had experiences with other storage software that isn't as user friendly. We are very satisfied with the support team and their timely responses to our questions as well as any issues that may arise. There are also consistent updates to update and better the software. All- in- all StorEDGE is a great Self Storage Software!

items that we didn't know we needed.

When we first started using storEdge, we were all a bit confused because our previous system could only access data one way. With storEdge, we can get from point A to point B all sorts of ways and from many different pages. We especially like that we do not usually loose what we have been working on when a tenant comes in for help. We just open another tab. THIS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!.
Again, we did not know what we wanted until we got it with storEdge.
Another thing. the tech support is amazing. They actually know who we are when we call. Either we are problem children and they do not let us know it or they are just that good. I prefer to believe the later.

Avantages

The MANY tabs that we can open all at once.

Inconvénients

Some times there glitches but the tech support will always try and work them out for us or find the answers as to why.

Very pleased with being able to be on this site with another location at the same time so that we see what the other person is doing. Like all the options that it gives us for individual locations that may be different so that we can use what we need for our needs.

Easy to use

The software is very user friendly and easy to use. Takes away a lot of the manual calculations and a lot of the human error. Delivers timely reports on delinquency and makes it very easy for renters to take care of all their billing on their own if they should choose to do so. Some minor glitches occur here and there, but overall a great program to use.

I have had storEDGE for 3 Months and its still not operating as it should.

Avantages

Going from a non web base software (SiteLink Stand Alone) to storEDGE was a huge improvement for this facility; I am able to communicate with customers through email, especially receipts and invoices. I also no longer have to run auto-pays manually which is nice.

Inconvénients

Company Forms do not match, there is no way to set in auto dates for delinquent customers on letters, the prorating is off for move-outs, scheduling move outs does not show prorate $$ amount owed, facility map does not show name/size when dragging mouse over it, walk thru report is unable to add notes, no vacant spaces report which shows day last rented, and modifying units is difficult.

OFFICE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY HELPFUL

The software is very easy to use and the office people are great to work with. Although there are a few "bugs" here and there, they are normally pretty quick to get it fixed :-)

Great customer support easy to navigate

Great program for not tech savvy.

I am not a computer savvy person; I wasn't raised with computers, so I tend to struggle or move slowly on them. I have found that StorEdge has been very helpful and easy to learn. Once you figure out how to get to various things it is pretty easy move around through windows. It looks good and it does its job. I am just an employee, so I don't deal with Customer Service often, but my Manager says they are great and I am not sure how much it costs, but from what I can tell it is very encompassing. The only reason I reduce a star on the ease of use is because if you have a window open and you click outside of it (which being horrible at computers I do often) it closes the window and you have to start all over. I am getting better at not clicking outside the windows, but I am slow at typing, so it can be frustrating to have to redo work. I would recommend this program for anyone who is rough around the edges with computers like me!

it's been great working with the software.

putting your software on a tablet and being able to be out on the floor ,instead of being locked in my office,were i can helping my tent face to face.

auto billing is very handy the auto posting is a nice feature and the late charged automatically done is wonderful

Easy to Use, LOVE IT

StorEDGE is a program that is so user friendly, it takes the confusion out of the process. Easy and Stress Free.

A nice modern app that still needs to grow and mature

Most of the features that we need are there, but there are still other missing or bugs that are quite annoying and get in the way of doing business from time to time. Overall a good modern web app.

Overall good software

Avantages

The support team was incredibly helpful for the switch over! We love the ability to text customer and that emails are saved right in each account. The ability to upload documents to the account is very handy.

Inconvénients

Some parts of the software are set up logically but not from the stand point of a property manager. For a multi location company the reporting is very time consuming as you have to switch from location to location then go through the entire process of pulling each report. For all business summaries there is no way of totaling all locations.

Pretty Good software but website is weak

storEdge Review

The majority of my experiences with this software have been really good.

Avantages

I like how easy it is to use, I also really like the fact that they record and store any phone calls that were made. It's nice to have a history of that to go back to when needed.

Inconvénients

I don't like that you can't enter a date when entering a payment. Sometimes we receive payments on time, but they do not get entered until another day due to certain circumstances. I would like the option to enter the correct date that the payment was actually received and not necessarily when it was entered.

Efficient.

The ease of conversion from one self storage software to another has been seamless.

Avantages

I can access both our facilities with the same log-in. The software is user friendly. The fees are very reasonable.

Inconvénients

It doesn't have some of the reports that our previous self storage software had. I wish it would have had compatibility with the credit/debit card processing software.

More Features

I used to work for Extra Space Storage and as of now you are the closest I have seen that is similar to them. I would suggest and I know it is coming soon. The mailing feature and an auction area. There is to much clicking to find out when a person is in auction or even to add them.

TO much clicking to get one thing done. No centralized area for auctions. no ability to generate letters for tenants. When doing a name change on a unit you need to fill out a new paper lease since there is none automatically generateed. There is more if you want you can call me.

Essentially the software does exactly what they advertise that it does.

Avantages

VERY easy and simplified interface. the software flows and makes it easy to figure out how to do something even if you're brand new to the program.

Inconvénients

It needs a few more functions to make it perfect. for example, if you could link a work email to the storEDGE program instaed our microsoft outlook, Also a way to attach paperwork or notifications to group or mass emails from the storEDGE software, additionally, if it automatically auto filled out names and dates and prices to personalize t letter for each customer.

StorEDGE is an awesome company! If I ever have an issue, the support safe is wonderful!

This software is convenient for both our business and our tenants.

Avantages

StorEDGE makes our life a lot easier since units can be rented and payments can be made online, and this is also a nice convenience for our tenants. We are also very happy with the support staff. Everyone at StorEDGE is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Inconvénients

In the beginning of using the software, it was a little confusing, however, that's true whenever you learn something new. The support staff was wonderful and helped whenever I had any questions.

Great, easy to use, cutting edge software

When I made the decision to change the software at my storage facility I took a good hard look at several of the software providers that specialize in self storage. What differentiated StorEdge from the others for me was their customer service and cutting edge web based technology. The software is set up so that StorEdge can make upgrades and changes to the software as the industry changes, and you do not have to download or purchase updates. I have both, the StorEdge software and their website platform. My customers love that they can go online and view their account and make payments at their convenience. As an owner I like this option as it helps with collections, especially after normal business hours. It is also nice that I can see an up to the minute overview of my facility anywhere that I have an internet connection. I am 100% satisfied with my decision.

StorEDGE

I really like that I can easily print my monthly reports, they all come from the same place. I used to have to print all separately and it took a bit of time.

Avantages

We own a few Storage Facilities and when we built our newest one we tried StorEdge for the new facility. I really like how everything is stored- including old customers in units once they’ve moved out.

Inconvénients

Even though it’s a web based software I have had some issues with it locking up and having to restart my computer. That takes up some valuable time.

Owner/ Operator

We opened our new storage project on Oct. 21. Before we have owned office, retail and a small amount of storage space. We use Quickbooks. I have also been in the billboard business but sold my inventory two years ago. I have been a small business owner for over 20 years. My son recommended StorEdge and so far it has been a good decision. We are also operating our gate (DoorKing) with StorEdge, but that is only starting later this week.

Avantages

Professional and easy to work.

Inconvénients

So far if someone wants to rent multiple units it would be easier to do them all at the same time.

This software is head and shoulders above the rest

This software makes my job so much easier to keep track of everything. It also help in lead generation wish this would have come out sooner.

The transition to StorEdge has been great

Tremendous cost and time savings related to everything from managing the customer experience to the operating metrics.

Avantages

Great integrated capabilities: Price management, pay on line, mail house and excellent document management. It is extremely simple to manage the day to day operations and the reports are excellent.

Inconvénients

The on-line help could be better. There is a ton of on-line documentation but it doesn't always address all the issues. However the telephone phone support is excellent.

User friendly, a bit slow.

Does not have as many programming issues as the past software that we used

Avantages

Like the tab options; it makes it easy to find and run reports such as inventory, etc. Also like when you are taking payments that it makes sure that you entered the correct amount; it will not let you proceed if the amounts do not match.

Inconvénients

No parent account. Have to look up customer's name on every facility if you do not know where their unit is at since we manage 10 facilities off of one software system.

Review of Software

I am using your software at least 40 hours a week. I like your software, it's easy to use, but it is very black and white. I know what it is I need to do, but do don't have the ability to do so. I have to go in setting and change things around to get my payments apply the correct way. If the invoice is wrong I have to email your company to get it fixed. That make's no sense, when I'm capable of doing the correction myself. Then I have to wait a day for the corrections, which put my work on hold. Your software is based on what people should do, but they don't. Going in and our of screens when a customer is waiting it a pain for them. For the most I think your software is excellent, except for the minor things that I can't do. It would be really great if it had an accounting side like quickbooks, that I could print deposit slips.

Features and functionality

Have problems with system freezing because of to may people on line. Other than that theer are not problem. I did have a problem when I reserved a new tent it placed it on another account even though I enter it as a new customer

StoreEdge Revies

Over all store edge has not been to bad, there are a few things that could be better and easier to do.

Avantages

It is easier to keep up with customers that are on our wait list as well as moving people in.

Inconvénients

Important Notes do not show as easily as the did with our old system. Even if you hit important note you still have to search in order to find it. I think it should be easier to add units when they first move in if they need more than one unit.

Love this software and would recommend to others

Avantages

Always updating for and notifying us on what's new in the system. Also love how fast the programs runs.

Inconvénients

Least favorite item of this software is the fact I lose everything on my screen if one wrong move is made
