The application is easy to use and simple to learn. It has handled technical issues for me without the help of any physical person. It works with devices that are offline, you can put them on. It is very multitasking.

Inconvénients

It was over priced and expensive when I went for the subscription. When I connect remotely to a laptop, the screen goes blank. The connections sometimes goes off. It was not like this from the start, but over time it started having these issues which should be looked into.

I love using TeamViewer Remote when I need technical help and don’t have someone from the team nearby. This way, it allows technical support to be managed remotely. Additionally, it has made online meetings with superiors much easier.

Inconvénients

I have nothing negative to say about TeamViewer Remote; I find it excellent in every aspect.

Always easy to use, GUI and everything is where it should be. Connections are stable.

It's a bit on the pricy side especially for smaller businesses or personal users who need it only occasionally.

It likes to do software updates quite frequently which isn’t a huge deal, but sometimes it feels like I’m constantly being prompted to install something instead of using the tool

We had a very bad hack into our system not long ago that had us make a ton of changes. This included how we communicate with our crews. Safety is our top priority and TeamViewer agrees. I am even able to let a gal from my office staff work from home while caring for her newborn because our system is secure even on the go.

Their IT is great when you have an issue and helped is work through a few issues we couldnt solve on our own.

I am able to have full control over devices as well.

We are so glad to have TeamViewer in our office.

Its great for working remotely. I really enjoy the ability to work from home when needed and not having to pay high prices for a subscription.

Its a little glitchy, sometimes the connection fails, but its quick to reconnect.

The ease of setting this up initially when I first got on board with my company was pretty easy. The speed of the connection and clarity was great. Would recommend for a first time desktop share user.

The program break periodically. Getting the connection back up can be a pain at times trying to get the code from one computer to the other computer. Sometimes the program would freeze and cause issues to dis-connect.

TeamViewer is a great product for people that work remotely. Whenever I have a computer problem, I can open TeamViewer, call my company's IT person, and have him take over my computer to fix the problem while we are on the phone. This allows technical problems to be resolved immediately so that I can get back to work. I think the remote access feature is convenient and easy to use.

I actually haven't had any negative experiences with this software.

I'm able to store user machine ID's to my Teamviewer account which allows me to see when their Teamviewer is opened so I can quickly select their session and hop onto it without needing to get the ID/Password from the user. Also how easy it is to get onto the machine with admin privileges is very useful.It's ideal to use within the business frontier if only a few licences are required.

Inconvénients

The versioning of Teamviewer must always be kept up to date on all machines if updated. We have a QuickSupport shortcut available for all users; however our main Teamviewer software was updated to a newer version which then caused the QuickSupport shortcuts to be updated with a later one from the homepage due to being unable to connect to the newer Teamviewer. (as well as Teamviewer host)

Currently we are in a work-from-home set-up and every time I have an issue, IT will resolve it using the TeamViewer. Just give them the code and off they navigate your computer remotely. There is also a chat box available in case we may need it.

None because TeamViewer resolves issues and not create one. :)

It is also used in smartphones, servers, among others. At your fingertips just with your email. Allowing guaranteed technical support without leaving your home.

the session may expire due to inactivity. It is private and expensive computer software.
It is only achieved if the computers are connected to the same network or to the internet. If you are not careful, all the content on your computer will be exposed. When the connection is made, the computers cannot be in power saver or hibernation mode. It demands a good fluid internet bandwidth and without interruptions so that the connection does not drop.

Extremely easy to use at it's most basic levels. When I first started using TeamViewer it was for its quick and reliable ability to provide remote support to a user that only required them to install the program and then provide me with a user ID and password in order to connect with there computer. Our original user case was to access the laptops of employees that were operating outside of our comany's intranet, where we used VNC to provide remote assistance, but eventually we started deploying TeamViewer to all of our computers resulting in our IT team being able to provide assistance from anywhere, but also having a greater awareness of the state of our company's equipment.

Thanks to the built in contact list and notes column we no longer need to keep a excel sheet contains all of the computer names, the user that uses the computer, and the software installed on it. Additionally it has made applying updates and ensuring malware protection on all of our devices is up to date extremely simple.

Inconvénients

The one feature that I feel is most lacking from TeamViewer is a connection health indicator. I've had issues experience slow and unstable connections to TeamViewer and the software itself does not have any tools to help diagnose if the issue is between the remote computer and TeamViewer or the local computer and TeamViewer.

Additionally when using TeamViewer with Windows servers occasionally there seems to be a issue where TeamViewer will freeze right after the Windows login page with a message about cannot capture screen due to fast switching users that can only be resolved by logging into the server through a different method and restarting TeamViewer. If you are planning on using TeamViewer as your sole source of server management then this might be a issue.

It is used by our departments and provides easy access and collaboration for everyone While we have many similar tools we are using, this one is our favorite because it is easy yo use.
