High School Rennovation/Addition

Avantages

I like that it is user friendly. We have a unique situation where we have turned over parts of a school and are still in site building new areas. MaintainX has allowed us to field maintenance requests from teachers for the entire school and it allows us to determine if it is new construction (contractor issue) or existing areas (school maintenance issue). Before MaintainX we were getting phone calls about the issues and now every teacher has access to MaintainX to submit a work order that we can track and get fixed without a middle man.

Inconvénients

I wish that I could get a PDF print out of filtered work orders that has the description of the work order. There is a summary printout now but it only shows the title. I wish it were to show the entire work order, or at least the description/comments.

Easy to set up, great support and easy to use

Overall experience is great. I highly recommend MaintainX

Avantages

The implementation team knew exactly what they were doing and took care of every request I threw at them. The process moved very quickly. After implementation the users found the mobile application very easy and has had tons of success.

Inconvénients

Since our business is not large enough for the enterprise option it didnt make sense to go in that direction. I do wish there was more customization ability without having to go to enterprise.

Game Changer

Exceptional, anytime I need help their quick to respond and resolve and it has been a major game changer for our company

Clean user friendly program that makes tracking maintenance a breeze

MaintainX Review from a Receiving Perspective

First time user but meet and exceeded expectations so far.

Avantages

Ability to track jobs individually including MHs & Parts while being flexible and open to changes.

Inconvénients

This is close to being a project tracker but not quite.

Started slow but using it more and more everyday.

Use of CMMS system to implement PPMS and day to day checks

Planned maintenance and cost tracking is so much easier. And keeping track of operator checks

Avantages

Very easy to use, lots of features to get a hold of. Inventory stock easily accessible. On the cheaper side of CMMS systems so amazing for smaller companies. Keeps log of downtime on machines to create reports/audit reports.

Inconvénients

It would be good to have a budget spreadsheet, but to get around it i use the PO system to keep track. Would also be good to have access to more custom dashboards on a premium plan

MaintainX best CMMS hands down!

Being able to see where my crew spend their time is critical for me. This tells the company where to spend their money to get more production from machinery.

Avantages

Honestly the backup received from your online support is outstanding. We have I been left in the dark unable to figure out something. The help with creating procedures from paper copies within my company and being able to digitalise them so all crews can use them when required is one of the best parts I love about MaintainX

Inconvénients

Definitely! Something that gets me is not being able to add more the one asset to a work order. If I have 5 machines that require preventative maintenance on the same day. I want to be able to add all the assets and not have to make up 5 work orders.

Brilliant!

We used a lot of paper previously to keep on top of our maintenance duties. This usually meant that paperwork got lost. Machines missed important checks. Downtime was a real issue. Since having MaintainX, no machines have missed any work. Downtime has decreased massively! Its easy for anybody to access the schedules so no more surprises! Its a brilliant product and I wish I had access to it earlier!

Avantages

Its easy to use, adaptable and customer service is brilliant! Any issues, they are a message away.

Inconvénients

The lack of avoiding weekends when setting up work orders over a monthly timeframe. I over come this by choosing the daily reoccurrence. It gave me the same outcome but with more work involved.It would also be good if you could add a work order to a previous day. I cant always take my phone with me, so it would be good if the next day I could add the jobs that I had completed the previous day.

Organization and work load efficiency

I have used it for 3-4 years and have had great success organizing work ordered and having access to the service history of areas and associated equipment used within our facility.

Avantages

The mobile application allows me to send work orders directly to the employees I am tasked to manage so workflow is optimized and done quickly.

Inconvénients

The application I utilize does everything I need it to so I do not know of a con to it at this point

Perfect Software!

This is the best Software I've found so far in the last 10 years of being in business.

Avantages

Easy to use, less brain power required in less time! With smooth operation, entry, management, tracking and retention goes with the flow of each individual work order effortlessly and seamlessly. Its simple and thorough with options to key in as much data as preferred.

Inconvénients

The amount of times a sales rep contacts me is a bit in excess. I have limited time to manage, maintain and operate our company and the daily emails and texts are stressful.

Very pleased customer

Very pleased with how organized my team and I are and being able to stay on top off jobs that need completion

Avantages

Keeps me informed as to where jobs are at even after days off can look up a work order and see exactly what still needs to be done

Inconvénients

Priority setting could be better for instance I want a guy to do a job that needs to be done right away but no way of bumping it up higher when the worker has other high priority jobs. I generally use comment section to let them know though

MaintainX solved many challenges that we had in data basing inventory and assets, very easy to use and incorporate into what we do. Its a great All-in-one place software.

There really wasn't anything i didn't like about maintainx.

Great, easy to use maintenance system for little cost!

Avantages

Ease of use, the ability for anyone on our site to be able to request a job, upload photos and assign assets. These can then be approved or rejected and scheduled in easily. Weekly and daily calendars with work orders is great for visualisation and keeping everyone busy and informed.

Inconvénients

Some reporting tools are a little lacking, you should have the ability to create a custom report that gives you the same look, format and data on a reoccurring schedule that you set yourself. For example monthly reporting of time vs cost for the same assets each month regardless if the value is £0 or £10000

MaintainX is a great product for our business

Since we started using MaintainX, we have completely done away with paper workorders. Keeps good track of our business. As of today, we are very satisfied with the software.

Avantages

The software is easy to use and a great way to track current and past repairs on our equipment. We can access our information either by laptop or smartphone. Out in the field, this is very important to the service tech on the job.

Inconvénients

So far, we really have nothing negative to say. If we have a problem or something we need changed, our account manager is very quick to respond.

Perfect 👌🏼

Overall I am really happy with the use of this app. It save me time, so it saves me money. The price is great for the number of contracted labor's.

Avantages

I really like this app as well as my team. We can easily add a service call or an HVAC instillation. The steps for the team asteroid easy to add and I have all the information for things like billing a customer, sending their warranty information, or simply writing a thank you letter. I don’t have to ask them any questions about work performed on the job because they are able to input any information i need for work orders.

It also allows me to schedule future work orders so that we can remember when a customers system is due for maintenance. I also like that I can print a pdf of the work order and keep a copy for my files and give the customer the details of their work and add comments if needed.

I like the fact that the guys can see upcoming service calls, rough in, or finish out. Sometimes the steps happen within months of each other and it easy to add unit numbers and dates as the instillation is worked on.

Inconvénients

I don’t like that the work orders that are on hold sit on the calendar on the day it was created. It would be easier if they sat in a separate folder and I could put them on the calendar later.

Game Changer

Overall, We are very happy with the results we have gotten from the App. There is room for growth and improvement and the developers are sensitive to client needs and respond accordingly.

Avantages

I love the ease of implementation and the flexibility of the app.

Inconvénients

At first, I did not like the search features, but they addressed that. The only draw back I see now is that I cannot create teams within my client base.

User Friendly - Great Customer Service

Since our first contact with MaintainX the customer service has been outstanding. They helped us set it up, answered even my silliest questions and followed with our progress the whole time. When they stopped hearing from me, they checked in just to make sure all was going smooth.

We appreciate how easy and user friendly this software is.

Ease of use layout

One of the few apps whenever you need customer support they respond very quickly and if they don’t have the answer they are working on it or get it resolved quickly

Avantages

I like that the new update most recent came out and added the search bar for chosing customer invoices

Inconvénients

New update had an issue with how much was being paid on my draws but it did not show it on the main sheet I have to go into the paid file to see what was owed but as always contacted customer support and working on the presently

Avantages

I love the fact how we where able to go from paper to paperless. The ease of searching for work orders is a HUGE plus. The ease for the team to use in the field on multiple devices is a great plus as well.

Inconvénients

The one thing I dislike about the app is that when work orders are closed they still.appear in closed orders for my team. I would.love to see the option to archive these while still be searchable.

Great product!

I love this app. It is easy to use and works seamlessly between the phone and the computer. I would highly recommend this for any small business that is looking for an affordable and comprehensive way to track maintenance and inventory of their fleet. I have also contacted their customer service team several times and found them to be extremely helpful and professional.
