A seamless Remote connection tool
Atera is a reliable RMM that offfer reliable remote connections and supports integration with anydesk. Also, the dashboard is very helpful as it gives an overview of all the connection requests,time spent in each session etc
Avantages
Atera offers seamless integration with Anydesk which I have been using for connecting to high configuration remote machines which I use for executing certain memory intensive program exe files.
Inconvénients
Currently the mobile app doesnt support remote connections.This is a feature which should be released in the new updates

Even though there are few small issues with the interface and pricing, I would definitely recommend Atera to anyone looking for a complete IT management solution.
Avantages
Atera is all in one IT management platform where we can get features like Managed Service Providers, Remote Monitoring Management, Integrated Ticketing System etc.

Although Atera has some great offerings and benefits but its UI is not that optimized.

Avantages
Atera completes all IT and systems management points, from flawless remote access for both Windows and Mac. In particular, it is excellent for connecting to external servers (VPS) and having control over the status and executing tasks manually or even automating . I was very surprised by what Atera covers in terms of features that adapt to any business.
Inconvénients
It is an excellent tool, however, only for medium and large companies given the level of computer knowledge that you need to have to use it, It would be great to see a total reports generated as well as per user and more, the cost is also high, but it worh it.

A Game-Changer, But Not Perfect
Great tool for IT teams & MSPs, but it surely needs some refinements in reporting, UI & support.
Avantages
Super easy to setup and get running, no complex installations or long processes.
The all-in-one platform is a life saver. Remote monitoring, patching, ticketing, all in one place. Pricing model is very refreshing, per technician instead of per device (saves a ton of money).Remote access is smooth, barely any lag even on slower connections.
Their AI-powered automation is pretty neat, saves a lot of manual work.
Inconvénients
The reporting system kind of meh, not very customizable, lacks some deeper insights. Mobile app is buggy sometimes, crashes when switching between tickets. Would be great if they had more third-party integrations, feels a bit limited.

Great Product
Very positive. Customers find making tickets with Atera a lot easier than with previous software. We in IT find it very convenient to have everything in one location.
Avantages
Had every feature we needed and even some we didn't know we needed until we started looking around at what Atera offered. Also like that new features keep being added.
Inconvénients
The website can sometimes be slow to respond and require multiple refreshes. Doesn't matter which browser is used or if it's on or off work locations. Also do not like the recent addition of AI. AI is not well understood and has a tendency to go off the rails, so shoehorning it into software that is supposed to be reliable doesn't seem like a good idea.

Remote project data management product and the access control options are impressive and easy reports preparation and sharing.
Avantages
The monitoring functions and the easy permissions management and the data accessibility via the product is nice and even on remote services management the options are powerful. Through the tool it can be easy sharing screens and collaborate remotely with other team members.
Inconvénients

Atera like most All in One products is very cost effective, it provides great value and gets most small MSPs 90% there. It has a great feature set and ticks all the boxes for a small MSP
Inconvénients
Again like most AiO products its doesnt do anything excellent, it does alot of things well. The interface could use some work and the documentation feature is lacking.

This is what you need.
Avantages
The ability to do all the things you can with other remote software but at a quarter of the price. With all this you also get a ticketing system, an asset control and a knowledge base. And if this was not enough, the fine people at Atera have a place to request new feature and the community of users vote on it!
Inconvénients
There is not alot I can say here, but if there is something I would like is if they would make Atera's scripting function more robust.

Simple and affordable, to the point.
It is quite good because it includes remote access and PSA so there's not much need for other tools and is cost-effective too. Some features are overwhelming.
Avantages
It is quite easy to get used to it. The best part is that you can manage many devices with very little cost. Also, it does have AI integration which is kind of effective and is usually not present widely in other software.
Inconvénients
There are a bit of limited integration options available. It needs to be re-run for patch deployment tasks. Another noticeable thing is sometimes the tickets duplicate on their own.

Atera is great till you need timely Definition updates and the schedule options are painful.
Atera was okay but really didn't hold up to all the marketing hype especially when it potentially introduces a patching delay for Definition updates to your IT environment...
Avantages
The interface is very easy to use and simple, installation in terms of deployment is tidy and even removal will leave a clean machine if you uninstall from the dashboard.
Inconvénients
The patch management in terms of Definition updates leaves somewhat to be desired especially as the schedule doesn't within the dashboard GUI allow to set hourly unless you wish to sit making a load of schedules one by one which is defeating the point of a simple dashboard. Support were less than helpful which didn't hold up any hope they would even bother logging this as a feature request.Having Definition updates delayed doesn't seem to bode well with claiming to help bolster security if your updates are delayed to just once a day or likely a week which is how I see most MSP and IT setting their patching.

Amazing product that is growing and evolving
The product is an amazing value and allows a single or multiple users to act as a larger team. Support is there if you need them.
Avantages
The support team and access is amazing, they always have what you need.
The shared libraries for scripts and SNMP templates are a huge time saver. (make sure to vet the scripts yourself)
The AI features are more than a gimmick and can be a huge time saver if used properly.
The developers are listening and adding requested features.
Inconvénients
The inability to add a user to multiple devices is a real headache for me.
The time tracking interface is a bit lacking compared to other larger vendors.

It's like adding staff to an IT dept.
Avantages
Having Atera frees up so much time. The ease with which we can fix issues, add functionality, patch applications is incredible. It's as if we have added staff to my department. Don't know how we survived without have Atera.
Inconvénients
Honestly, cannot think of anything. Only issue is having to clean registry the couple of times the agent has not worked.

My overall experience has been fantastic so far with Atera
Avantages
One of the best things about Atera is the seamless integration that it offers. Also, the remote monitoring and management capabilities are pretty much flawless

Avantages
I tried Atera via trial. First of all you have install agent on your primary domain controller, you cannot use another domain client.
Scan works only for machines on the same subnet of PDC. Even if you add another network to scan.
So i uninstalled the program: the uninstallation does not remove the scheduled task (and the folder). You also have to remove manually namp e pcap.
Agent uninstallation does not uninstall the remote access feature. You have to remove it manually.
Inconvénients

The business model of Cost per Support Agent compared to Cost per End-Point is SO much better than any other competing product on the market.. especially for a small MSP like CodeRight just starting out less then 3 years ago with only 1 medium size client.
Avantages
The Atera agents ability to install many different remote access 3rd party software tools is so valuable. The support for MacOS and Linux is also critical. The easy of use to setup a new client and just get going is fantastic.. very low friction. very efficient.. easy to learn... and the online Docs are very good.
Inconvénients
I wish the web interface had a much more extensive and flexible SEARCH feature.. i need the ability to search through ALL meta data to find things faster when you have lots of clients
