Gatekeeper: Streamlining Complicated Processes Easily
While Gatekeeper was largely effective, I did face some challenges with integrating it seamlessly into our existing systems. The API integration took longer than expected, and there was a learning curve when it came to some of the more advanced features.
Avantages
The Gatekeeper team provides extensive implementation support, and the solution is incredibly user-friendly.
With its clear search features, easy editing and uploading, workflow building, and custom fields, the user-friendly system makes it simple to add new entries and change old information.
You are continually informed about how the system can improve your experience because it is supported by a wealth of user manuals and frequent sessions to update on new features.
Inconvénients
The extra modules cost a lot of money.
Certain custom developments might never be made available because they need to be approved by the Ideas Forum.

The right flexible solution for a growing and innovated company
I've implemented multiple software solutions in the past, and Gatekeeper has been, without a doubt, the best team to work with throughout implementation and management. We've gone from having very little confidence in the accuracy and completeness of our contract records, to being the team and the solution that the company turns to when they want to know about a contract. Our company's rapid growth and the absence of a good contract management solution left us desperate for a better "way". Having a system that helped us file, organize, and track existing contracts was the most important first step. As we've continued to use the system and commit to the process, we are now able to be pro active with our contracts. Gatekeeper is the single source of truth. We couldn't have turned that ship around without Gatekeeper and the Gatekeeper team's help.
Avantages
The ability to customize was key. We strive to support each business unit's unique needs and processes, so a cookie cutter solution would have been too restrictive. With Gatekeeper we can shape our data and workflows to meet our teams' needs, instead of forcing them to conform to a software's built-in process. We knew adoption and integration would hinge on a system's ability adapt to OUR needs, not the other way around.
Inconvénients
The customization's "dark" side is that it can take some time and commitment to learning how to create workflows and manage the custom data. Gatekeeper support was helpful for us in this learning process, though. Our support pros from Gatekeeper always respond promptly and truly listen to our issues and questions.

Practically speaking, we were drawn to the intuitive and clean user interface, as well as the customization and email/messaging options within workflows. Avantages
Definitely a good option for small to medium sized firms thinking about contract DBMS and its related services with lots of integration extension options with Docusign, Workato etc.

Very happy with the use of Gatekeeper! An excellent platform that has become the foundation of our contract management throughout the company.

Mostly positive and overall works for what we need it for.

Gatekeeper - Great system for Contract Management
Time saving. It is quick and easy to locate a Supplier and view a Contract rather than scrolling through hundreds of emaills or searching for saved documents on your PC. Gatekeeper is a safe storage system for all of your secure documents.
I have found all members of the Gatekeeper team very helpful, professional and easy to approach!
Avantages
Gatekeeper is an excellent platform to store all documentation for each individual Supplier for your business. It is extremely user friendly. The system triggers advanced notifications to alert you when a Contract is due for renewal or an annual review, which can be easily set up to ensure that a Contract is never overdue.
The emailing function is good. You can email Business Owners direct from Gatekeeper. All emails are stored within the individual Supplier card.
Inconvénients
Once a document has been uploaded to Gatekeeper, you cannot rename or resave to a PDF. This would be a useful tool for main administrators.

Avantages
GateKeeper offered many of the features of its bigger competitors but at a considerably more reasonable price point. An unexpected benefit is GateKeeper's workforce support. From sales [sensitive content hidden], to tech implementation [sensitive content hidden], to initial and continued customer support [sensitive content hidden], we have only experienced very attentive and professional interactions.
Inconvénients
There are certain factors in the contract data that we don't think are necessary but are not able to deleted. I think the client should have the option to delete any data points.

Killer Contract Management
Overall we've had excellent experiences with the software and the staff.
Avantages
Gatekeeper is a mature platform and offers outstanding flexibility for users to customize key workflows and processes. These items together create an outstanding platform where users can drive success.
Inconvénients
We were very deep with DocuSign before using Gatekeeper. For that reason, we were less enthusiastic about Gatekeeper's esign capabilities but to be fair, we gave it less of a chance. That all said, Gatekeeper is working on a DocuSign integration.

Vendor & Contract Management Efficiencies with Gatekeeper
The sales process was excellent. We have an amazing AE that is extremely helpful, patient, and responsive. The implementation process is more difficult than expected and we are hitting up against barriers of our plan fairly frequently, which is pretty frustrating. Overall support has been excellent.
Avantages
What drew us to this solution is that it met all of our top requirements in a single system - this solution drives efficiencies with both vendor and contract management and has an included partner portal where our vendors can submit information to kickoff the relationship, to maintain records as contacts change, to view contracts, and to submit due diligence information. We like that there is an ability to create custom fields on the fly in most sections as well.
Inconvénients
The reporting is not as robust as we had hoped. There are several pre-made reports that you can leverage, but there isn't an ability to create our own reports leveraging all of the different fields in the system. We also ended up having to purchase additional features that we needed, but weren't included in the plan that fit our company's record size. It is also priced very uniquely - by contracts and vendors v. by users. This could be ok if a company had limited records, but we have a lot, so pricing went up quickly. In addition, we thought we could decrease the record amount by nesting amendments and SOWs into the master contract record, but we can't do that as workflows have to create a new full contract record.

Agile, supportive and innovative
Such a positive experience working with Gatekeeper! From the moment we started our journey with them, and the support we received during the implementation through to ongoing support, it has been a pleasure. What I really appreciate is the fact they are always looking to enhance the product, and listen to their customers ideas and actually take them forward. All in all, a great platform.
Avantages
Gatekeeper is a really flexible tool for us to use within Supply Chain. Having the ability to create workflows to support ad hoc requirements has really changed how we are engage with our suppliers.
Inconvénients
It would be great to have the ability to add a third signature to some our agreements without having to set the third party up as a user.

Though we have not yet switched on some of the new services, we look forward to solving a whole range of manual bottlenecks and gaps in our business with the Gatekeeper tools. We will soon integrate our own supplier performance data against contract performance standards to allow our supplier management team proactive visibility of when contractual sanctions can be applied.
Avantages
Ease of use of the system itself, client service and help is outstanding and realistic to the needs of businesses in different sectors. The diversity of services performed that can be useful to scale and automate so many facets of a business other than the legal team's needs, and more relevant and useful services are developed and added by Gatekeeper regularly.
Inconvénients
Everything about the software is great. Unfortunately the manual upload of the contract data summaries has been time consuming and difficult for our small legal team to ensure this is performed consistently.

Overall great product for managing contract life cycles
Overall I think Gatekeeper is very useful for filing and tracking agreements. It provides a lot of metrics that are useful in terms of gauging the overall health of the business. It has a lot of functions and can be customized to suit your needs.
Avantages
The universal search is my favorite Gatekeeper function and one that I use daily to retrieve contracts where the name of the counterparty or project may not be known. It quickly brings up all documents that relate to the term searched. A close second is the reminders you can set up to alert you about important contract milestones such as auto-renewals.
Inconvénients
When searching by counterparty it can be a bit awkward to remember to then click under the various tabs to get to the agreement. You also have to remember that 'all' contracts or 'all' counterparties' are selected to make sure your search brings up all agreements even those archived.

This system helped us maintain all our contractual documentation and vendor contact details in a centralized location. Also we are using this system effectively to track risk based on our audit findings. Overall we are able to transform our vendor management by onboarding Gatekeeper system.
Avantages
Ideal system with feature set matches our needs. I like workflow flexibility, access control, bulk upload/update, flexible vendor and contract views, user management and dashboards.
Overall, I like intuitive design, it helped our admin and end users to start using without much training.
I am also looking for basic spend functionality without a need for buying additional spend module.
Inconvénients
I like all the features, but suggest having more flexibility and options to create additional dashboards.

Enterprise Supplier Management and Portal Technology that is very powerful yet simple to use
We chose to partner with Gatekeeper as their technology was by far the most intuitive we evaluated. Our challenge was to secure accurate master data and compliance information from over 3,500 suppliers across Europe.
We simply didn't have the manpower to take on this challenge alone. Gatekeeper Vendor Portal technology and the supporting team are a vital partner for the SCC procurement and commercial teams moving forward

Gatekeeper has become the central solution we rely on for managing our contracts and
suppliers every day. The interface is beautiful and extremely easy to use - no training required.
There are a whole range of options to customise the application and views to our exact needs.
The Gatekeeper support team are very responsive to any request, proactively keep us updated on new development and also involve us in the overall product roadmap - its a true partner model.
I would thoroughly recommend Gatekeeper and the team to any company wanting to get their suppliers and contracts under control.
